Hey special people. Thank you so much for joining me on today. I'M sandra burnette, you know the cold winter months can be very harsh on our hair. So i think this is an appropriate video for this time of the year. In today's video i'm going to give you six healthy winter, hair tips that is going to leave your hair moisturized and help your hair to grow faster. Also, i'm going to make my own diy oil, especially for the winter that is going to help your hair to stay moisturized so remember, to subscribe to my channel click that notification button so that you can be notified when i post new videos give me a thumbs Up keep those comments coming and let's get busy. You know, ladies as the temperature outside goes down and the moisture in the air as well goes down, our hair lose moisture really quickly during the winter months. That is why our hair becomes more dry. If you notice in my hair, becomes really brittle fast in the winter months, so the six winter hair tips that i'm going to share and also again i'm going to make an oil mix. That'S going to boost your hair to help and help you maintain strong soft moist, healthy hair during the winter months. So here's tip number one tip number one protective styles. Now protective styles are good throughout the year, but i do want to say, especially in the winter months, we need to tuck away our ends. It is so important to protect our ends from the cold dry weather that can damage our ends and then also protective styles. We already know encourage growth because we are not touching our hair. So here are some protective styles that you can do throughout the winter months. You can do bonds. I love the two two-strand twist. Some people do wigs. There are others that do braids, so there are other protective styles that you can do. But again, protective styles are especially great for winter months, tip number two use a deep conditioner and use a leave-in, conditioner, weekly or bi-weekly. After washing your hair, adding in a conditioner once a week or bi-weekly to our hair will actually help. Ladies replenish, the moisture that was lost from the cold temperatures outside also from the dry heat that is in our homes and then many of us use styling tools that can dry out our hair, so using conditioners in our hair will help reduce breakage in our hair. Frizz that we so often get and keep our hair strong, smooth shiny, so add a deep conditioner. Ladies to your hair, add a leave-in conditioner to your hair to come back. Dryness tip number three wear a winter hat. I do want to say always. Ladies wear a winter hat during the winter months to protect your hair from the dry cold wind that is outside and then the snow and the wetness that we have. If not, what happens is again, our hair becomes dry, it becomes brittle, it becomes prone to split ends and breakage, and i also want to say make sure that the hat that you wear is not too tight, because it can lead to breakage as well and hair Fall because of all of the stress that is on our follicles from the tight hat. Now, let me share with you some of the hats that i wear that have helped my hair to stay moisturized during the winter. I have this hat here that i bought off of amazon and i believe i paid no more than about 14 for this hat. This head has like a satin or silk lining in the inside. This has really helped to keep my head warm and to keep moisture in my hair. Now i love to style hats, so i have this hat here and this hat actually does not have a silk or a satin lining in the inside. So what i do is, i would take a scarf and put it underneath the hat to help protect my hair so that i can retain moisture now. I do want to add also, ladies for those of you, that, like to wear wood, hats, be very careful with the hats, always put a satin or a sick scarf underneath to protect your hair and to retain the moisture in your hair tip number four water intake. Ladies, we need to make sure that we drink lots of water every day, even though many of us don't like it, it's very important that we do drinking water every day, hydrates and it nourish our hair roots, see water transport nutrients and vitamins that are crucial. Ladies for growing hair and maintaining strong hair, not enough water in the winter months, it's going to lead to split ends, brittle hair, unhealthy scalp, also dryness, and some of us gon na have itchy scalp. So definitely, ladies water contribute to better hair in the winter months, and it's recommended that we drink at least eight eight ounces of water a day. Okay, ladies, we are almost at the end of our six tips. Tip number five sleep in satin sleep in a satin bonnet and on a satin or silk pillowcase nightly. Ladies, do this, because it will prevent dryness and also friction on our hair. Now we all know about cotton, pillowcases they're, not good for us, because it cause breakage and it depletes our hair of moisture. Okay, ladies, we are on our last tip for today tip number six, a warm scalp, massage using oils. Ladies massaging the scope with oil. What it does is it helps in maintaining moisture in the scalp and the hair during these cold winter dry months, oil also supply additional nutrients and vitamins to the hair. So i'm going to show you how to make my oil mix with some of the best oils to use during the winter months. Let'S get busy okay, so the oils that we will be using is sweet almond oil. We also will be using coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil, organ oil, so you're going to need yourself a mason jar and we're going to add in three tablespoons of sweet almond oil almond oil. Ladies help to hydrate the hair. It also helps the hair to look shiny and feel soft. It prevents breakage for this winter weather that we're dealing with next we're going to add in one tablespoon of coconut oil, which absorbs quickly into our hair, providing moisture it also tames frizz heals breakage. It helps our hair to be strong. It is awesome for dry scalp. Our next oil is extra virgin olive oil, we're going to add in five tablespoons it's a moisturizing property, a natural conditioner, it controls fizz, also extra virgin olive oil softens the hair strengthens the hair by penetrating the hair shaft. It preserves moisture in the hair, i'm actually loving extra virgin olive oil this time of the year. Our final oil is argan oil, we're going to add one tablespoon. This oil is not as heavy as olive oil, but, ladies, it is loaded with vitamins and nutrients during the winter months for our hair. It also helps moisturize our hair and scalp and protect our hair from everyday damage. Our final ingredient is amla powder. We'Re going to add one teaspoon: this is an effective moisturizing agent and, ladies, it is the answer to hair fall. Amla powder conditions, the hair. It also fights dander and improved dry scalp. So we're going to stir everything up together here. So i'm going to put a top on my oil and i'm going to shake it up really good. Now, ladies, you could stop right here and you can take the oil put it away for about three months to let it finish. Marinating or you can take the oil and let it boil in water for about three hours so that you can use it right away. Now, if you want to use the oil right away after three hours, you want to remove the oil from the boiling water next, what i'm going to do is i'm going to drain the oil. I got this drainer from walmart for about a couple of dollars or so you're going to drain. So, as you can see at the bottom of the jar, you can see the amla powder. This is going to make sure that you don't get as much of the powder and your oil i'm going to seal it and, ladies, there you have it some of the best oil for the winter months very moisturizing, this oil. You can use twice a week and, ladies also, you want to store it in a safe dry place. The chef life on this oil is anywhere from six months. Even i would say a year. This is a really good oil. Ladies, i want to thank you so much for joining me on today. I want you to remember to subscribe to my channel click that notification button so that you can be notified when i post new videos give me a thumbs up. Keep those comments coming bye. You

V M: The one thing that has worked for me is collagen peptide powder & unflavored bone broth powder. I go to the stylist ever 3 weeks; she noticed right away my hair was thicker. The only thing I changed was upping my Vitamin D to 10000iu a day , added Vitamin K & started consuming the collagen peptide powder. I put it in my tea or hibiscus drink every morning for the last 3 months. Not only has shedding reduced by 75-85% but it resulted in my density getting fuller & fuller (because of the massive decrease in shedding). My hair grew 1 inch in 2 months. My hair has never ever grown that fast. I take 2 scoops of both the bone broth & collagen ever morning. I no longer have aches & pains is the best part of it all. And I literally look like I’ve had a face lift! My skin looks more amazing every day. Look at some of the videos on YouTube about bone broth & collagen peptide powders. If you buy it in bulk it’s very affordable. I recently added beef liver (desiccated) to my daily routine. It’s the most nutrient rich food on the planet. Been on it for about a month now. Buying it in bulk makes it affordable. Gonna take my cornrows down in about a week. I cannot wait to see my progress.
