FTC: This video is sponsored by Aveda.

So good morning, i'm gon na wash my hair today. This video is actually sponsored by aveda. I don't know if you know, but i've been using a veda for like literally 15 years, i've been using this for actually 15 years. I love it. It'S my favorite. It'S the be curly curl enhancer. I have recently been washing my hair with the botanical repair kind of a new line. I think it came out in the last like year and it's already won like a ton of awards, so the lime looks like this i'll show. You, the shampoo and the conditioner in the shower, but this this is the leave-in treatment and then this is the strengthening overnight serum. So i have this in my hair last night. I also use this after the shower. There is shampoo conditioner, which i'll show you after and there's two types of masks, depending on your hair type. These products are actually for all hair types, so, whatever your hair type, it will work for. You took six years to develop, which, like that's insane, it's a long time. It helps with four types of hair damage, so heat, environmental, physical and chemical. So i definitely have like environmental and heat. I don't really. I actually don't color my hair anymore, so no more chemical damage. For me, these are all as like all aveda products. They are 100 vegan, 100 cruelty, free, so they're really good for everyone, and so this is the overnight serum. So i put this in my hair. Every night - and you can just put it in every night and you don't have to wash it out - you just leave it and it doesn't leave your hair looking oily or greasy. I'M obviously just washing my hair today, but i would put it in i'm gon na put it in tonight, and every night leading up to my wash actually reduces the appearance of slit ends to up to 84 within the first night. So it's incredible. I'Ve really been liking this and my hair has looked a lot better okay, so i'm gon na hop in the shower because i worked out today, so i've been using the shampoo and conditioner for maybe like a month now. I started like in between the fashion weeks. So i used it that week yeah so like a month with obviously like when i was away. I wasn't using it because i didn't bring it, but i feel, like my hair dries nicer. Naturally it looks healthier, so i've been using the strengthening shampoo. This is plant-powered damage, repair looks like this and i just put it in my hands. I like lather it like this, and then i wash my hair. I usually wash my hair twice, especially if i've been using like a ton of product. I just wants to like get all the dirt out and then once like lather it up, so i usually do the hair mask first. This is the light one. I use the light one for my type of hair, but they also have the rich one which comes like this. If you have thicker hair, this might be better. You can use both on both types of hair. Just personally, i think my hair just needs the lighter one. So this is the intense intensive strengthening mask so i use this. I leave it on for like five minutes, while i like shave and then i'm going to use the strengthening leave-in treatment, i literally always use a leave-in treatment. I just need to so just put a little bit on my hands and then i scrunch in a leave-in treatment, especially when i'm wearing my hair natural. I mean you could do the like prayer hands too, but when i'm leaving my hair natural, i just scrunch everything in to like help define my curl and then i'll put any extras on the ends and then i'll go in with any hair product like a wave Spray or an oil, or anything like that, and i leave my hair natural. I just love the smell of the veda products i feel like they are like the most luxury salon smell. I just i'm obsessed. I love it. I just feel like i'm when i'm washing my hair, i'm like this is like me when i get my hair washed in the salon. It just has that, like nice aroma, all of these products are available at aveda, salons, spas and stores. So you can check them out, you can smell them, you can buy some for yourself. All of them are also available at aveda.com, so i will come back like tonight and show you how i put have been putting this in for now. We'Re done with hair washing day with the aveda botanical repair collection. Yay. Now i got ta get ready because it's a little bit late in the day. Okay, so i'm gon na let my hair just air dry. I have to make a presentation because i'm doing a conference today, a virtual conference with fit. I need to make a little presentation, so i'm just gon na sit in bed on my laptop and my hair dries and do the presentation. But first i'm gon na have one of these biscuits i made yesterday i got, i don't know if you remember i made scones why maybe i'm going to put them in the oven, they're from mildred's, mmm and they're so good, so i'm just starving. So i'm gon na eat this. So five years ago, while growing my personal brand, we took a leap of faith and started a clothing company with literally zero design experience. I started it with my best friend shiran. We started out kind of as a past passion project. We were trying to find the perfect white tea and it's not something that we could find on the market. So we pretty much like amalgamated. All of i had like a closet full of white tees, so we amalgamated all of the white tees that i had in my closet took all of our favorite aspects from them and made it into the super white tea. And since then it's really grown. We started with the white tea and then we moved into all these other pieces that you know we couldn't find the perfect piece of for our future goals. We always just say we want to be happy and healthy, because that is really the only thing that matters in life. We hope to expand our offerings to our community in a mindful way. Ensuring every piece we put out there has potentially become someone's most favorite piece in their wardrobe. We really focus on cost per wear and making sure that people when they buy something it does stay in their wardrobe for years to come. We also hope to grow in a sustainable manner that keeps our community team and all of our partners worldwide. Happy and community building is also something that's really important to us. Where are we going? Okay, we're going to a fitting, but we can't really tell you what it is, which i know it's so annoying, because we're trying to keep the coachella fits a secret until the reveal at coachella. I started looking at australian vegetables. Yeah still didn't really find anything. What were they wearing like? I feel like australia's like just different. I don't know yeah, they just don't really wear like anything, and it's like pattern. Stuff yeah that are like sets, i feel like sets, are going to be a huge thing. What other trends are you predicting this year, like cool girl, chill style like i wore last year, i went i wore like jeans, tucked into cowboy boots and like a strapless top yeah so chill, and it was just like it felt the best out of all the Other outfits i wore they have to be comfy for all day yeah. I feel, like that's gon na, be super common, like haley, bieber, old, princess diana, your friends, hello, hi. Oh, my goodness, you are so so cute. Oh, my goodness. I'Ve been on the phone for a while and just doing some work, but i didn't do my vlog thoughts and i have been thinking lately about the concept of like hustle porn and how i hate it. I just saw some people's stories recently and it was like always working always working, and it's like. Why do you have to announce that you know like it's kind of weird and like i get it like? I work a lot, but like so does everyone? You know what i mean or, like maybe you don't there's just like. No just because you work a lot doesn't mean that you're like better, and i think this thought was triggered by someone was like showing that they were relaxing and then the story afterwards like, but always working as, if, like relaxing or like taking a rest. Isn'T. Okay - and it made me feel like kind of sad, because i read this thing once that was like, if you're gon na rest but think about work, then just work and if you're gon na work and not work at full capacity. You'Re going to think about what you're going to do when you're relaxing then just go relax but whatever you're going to do like do at 100, because otherwise you're just doing everything at like 50 or less, and it's just like not productive, and that just really resonated With me, because i think i definitely maybe used to be like i'm like i'm working, i'm working, but i'm so tired and like there's, no shame in resting. I don't really have a full thought with this, but this is just something i've been thinking about. So this idea of, like oh he's, got like he always gon na be hustling and, like i agree like you, got ta work and stuff, but like it's, not everything, i'm still forming the idea, but that's what's been on my mind. Lately, the idea of like hustle porn and like that i just i'm like icky, like everyone, can just do what they need to do. I don't know that makes sense anyway. Those are those are the thoughts, not a fully formed thought just a thought. I really been trying to like even take that into my normal life, like if i've decided that, like i'm gon na rest and relax and like then like that's what i'm gon na, do i'm not saying like i'm not gon na, like answer an email, but it's Like i'm really gon na try to recharge when i need to recharge and then when i'm working, i i'm gon na be able to work at 100. Anyway, that's my thought. For today i had another one too, but i can't remember it so. It'Ll have to wait till the next vlogs. I have to figure what i'm gon na make for dinner and then also, i only think i'm gon na stay here tonight. So i decided i'm one gon na sleep here tonight and two i ordered dinner because i'm gon na make a little salad, but i don't have anything else. I didn't defrost anything, i'm just extremely disorganized, so i'm just putting a garbage bag in just girly things. Do you remember when that was like a thing on youtube or on instagram like just girly things, it's so weird. Oh, did i show you i got the chairs. Did i show you did i even talk about them? I got chairs new chairs from my apartment. They. Finally came in, i ordered them literally months ago. Let me just show you it's pitch black in my apartment, but i need lights cute right. It'S like a little section here. What do you think they're from cb2 i'll link them down below, but i like the way that the round like goes around the table? It'S just like a little nook. That'S obviously gon na go on the wall, because i'm never home, i'm actually gon na get someone to come in and, like finish my place off, because you can't finish off a place when you're home at like five days at a time like it's just literally impossible. So i want to get someone to like sort it out for me, because it's probably about 85 done, but there's some things that still need to get done so just figuring that out right now i ordered some tacos and then i'm probably just gon na. Like maybe watch something go to bed early play my tacos when they come. Like i swear i actually cook now. I feel like every time i vlog, though i got three cauliflower tacos and then i'm going to make myself a cucumber salad. Later i got the from grand electric because i just i don't really like grand electric that much, but i specifically like these tacos and there's a little scratch on them and they're divine. Now i'm going to watch something so i'll actually come back like right. When i go to bed and i'll get unready with you back where we started the day, i washed my face: it's actually only 9 30, but i just like haven't been sleeping that well. I'Ve been traveling a lot and this morning when i woke up and i went to the gym - i looked myself in the gym mirror and i was like. Oh, you don't look well like you look exhausted so and i'm gon na like watch something in bed and just go to sleep. Hopefully really early. I'Ve already done my skincare, and now i'm going to show you my little hair bedtime routine, i'm using the botanical repair. Strengthening overnight serum i'm just putting a few pumps in my hand like two and a half three, then i just put it in my ends just to keep my ends: nice and hydrated. I like prayer hands. It then i'll just take the rest and kind of put it through. You can put this on every single night and you don't have to rinse it out in the morning. So, if you're showering the next day or not whatever, if you're not wetting your hair, totally fine, it's not going to make your hair look greasy or anything like that. Also, do i have seaweed on my teeth like maybe so i put that and then i'm i'm just gon na wear my hair up for the rest of the night, so i'm just gon na put my hair back in a clip. I feel like i'm gon, na questions on this. This is how i put my hair up in a clip. You like this finger and then i wrap it around my finger and like pull it up and through like that. I don't know what just happened there, but then i just get a big clip and i put it on now: i'm gon na brush my teeth and i'm gon na go to bed. So i will see you tomorrow good morning. I'M gon na make some coffee. My camera died, i was making coffee. I just made some coffee and my smeg coffee maker, and now i'm gon na go sit in bed and drink it because that's my current morning, routine is sitting in bed and drinking my coffee, mostly because it's kind of chilly down here. Okay, i wanted to. I wanted to show you my hair, so last night i didn't even wear it in like protective hairstyle or anything. My hair, like usually, if i don't use that serum the ends are like the ends are literally my hair looks the exact same as i did yesterday. The ends are like not frizzy or anything at all, and it looks good, so i can literally just wake up and go incredible, so i'm actually going to put a little bit more in my hair today, just in the ends there because i love it so much So today i have a i'm going to the mcm store and then i'm going to the office.

Cartier231: “Just because you work a lot, that doesn’t makes you better” - Allegra Shaw

Ashley Santoro: I agree with your thoughts on working when you’re 100% in that headspace. Especially as a self employed person. I get so much more done when I am in that headspace. I’ve been trying out working 4-6 hour stretches instead of working all daaayyy longgg until I’m asleep at my laptop. I’m so much more fulfilled by my work at the end of the day, and I honestly get more done!

Krizzia Oro: I'm on accutane and every time I see your skin, I'm like yes I can do this.

Val Del Valle: I love the effort of coming in, setting up the camera, and walking back out…. And walking back in. All for our viewing pleasure, respect!

Adrianna Sosa: Love the fact that you incorporated a peek into your work life and work dynamics. Super cool and also love the clog thoughts!! ❤️

Amber Leslie: Something I've learned this past year that's really allowed me to be better overall is the idea that you don't have to be productive all the time to be successful. I think having this idea of productivity, whether that is work or even 'relaxing productively' (if that makes sense lol), is the worst part of hustle culture. By making space for yourself to be unproductive sometimes allows for you to be more productive when you want/need to be.

Carolina Svedlund: Really love your comment on "always working", so important in an age where pepole are constantly stressed and burned out ❤️

Tam Vlogs: Your videos are so calming, love that you try to keep it real and don't fake smile or act overly excited. Just had a very similar conversation about the "hustle porn" with my partner recently, glad to hear we are not the only ones who notice that odd trend. Thank you for creating content!

Dawn Del Russo: so true about work and rest. I always felt like I had to be busy 24/7 and the last few years I like the balance. Such a good quote to live by.

alexandria nguyen: Good video, Allegra. Aveda is an excellent haircare system. Your hair looks lovely. Your a fantastic model for Chanel, Christian Dior, YSL, Prada, Dolce Gabanna, Giorgio Armani, etc. Happy Easter from our channel: Australian Parakeets Stars

Marie Leopold: you and you're vlogs are literally my comfort content ❤❤❤

huggybunnyable: I love that your primarily mission is to stay happy and healthy <3

Miranda Maheri: love hearing you talk about your clothing line! its a dream of mine to eventually have my own, and you are such an inspiration ❤️

Kait Atkinson: I am OBSESSED with the botanicals rich mask it’s amazing! Also the sap moss line is divine. Specifically the shampoo. Love.

Tim David: Eres un ídolo mikujava.Monster siempre en mi corazón,hermosa, amoro, elecciones, culturales.❤️ Son unos de los mejores conciertos.

Jenny Teresia: ”Hustle porn” must be very North American, no? I’m Scandinavian and here work-life balance is everything. What’s the point in spending all your time working when you won’t be able to take any of your money or aquired stuff with you when you die? Just so you can waste your precious time here showing off to people or keeping up with the joneses? I firmly believe we only live once and the only thing we can’t get more of is time...

theoldphone: The Art Of Less Doing is an amazing book about this!!

Dani Opal: I am a graphic designer and in my field there is definitely this mentality to hustle all the time. That's not for me and I agree, I get tired of seeing people glamorize overworking.

Rachel Inot: You are refreshing.. longtime subscriber and knowing how hard you work but also how you stay balanced and realistic

Payton Braseth: I once made a comment about feeling exhausted working 50 hours on average to a few coworkers in another department and they acted like 50 hours was nothing and one guy even said he has worked into the next day without stopping. Wtf it isn't a competition! So bizarre.

aven 🌻: I get that US culture might work slightly differently (I'm Italian) but we don't live in order to work. we work in order to live, but that doesn't mean we have to spend our lives just working our asses off just feel validated.

KimberlinLuv: I absolutely love your hair watch me get that whole Aveda line now

Guilherme Júnior: I liked your determination. You inspire

Annie Leblanc: What do you ask for/get done when you get your hair cut? Looks so good

Ela Lee: Yes. I have always lived by "Work hard in silence, let success be your noise."

AMD: Your hair looks great.

Coco Swan: I totally Get what your saying. I hate when ppl say, “I am So Busy!!” Hell everyone is busy!!!

Ervin's Movie Corner: Welcome to May, Allegra!❤️

Ann Latham: I alternate between Aveda & Moroccan oil. My faves

fireystella: allegra i once quoted you in an interview "be good do good" in an interview and i got that cushy job lmao. thanks! was reminded of it from the other top comment quoting you :p

Carol Somerhalder: Miss your what I got this month/monthly favs they’re the best

A. R.: Fully agree with what you said about hustle porn

lalyelangel: Love these vlogs legs

Hannah Schmidt: Allegra i have a question: do you normally wear your sneakers without socks? Ive seen ur other vlogs and it seems to be the case right?

Guilherme Júnior: I liked your vlog and Happy Sunday

Susan Bali: Your kitchen is amazing

LOFIRU: I liked this video! Earned a sub! Btw, you can use my music anytime for your videos if you want to

Caroline: Work smarter, not harder

AMD: 9:30 pm is the best time to go to bed.

Lauren W: Where are your counter chairs from?! So cute

Guilherme Júnior: Hello Allegra

Guilherme Júnior: 6:40 Beautiful

AYONIZA RAGHUBINAYAM: Those were the thoughts that resonated w you! Resignated is different girl

Hursa a: Do you like your Smeg coffee maker? The reviews seem kinda iffy

rockymtmal: more thoughts

Shelby Slupek: where are your barstools from?!

Atila Tutkuner: Why weren’t you wearing socks at the begining of the video?
