Bronde Haircolor Technique: Surfside Blonde With Lumishine

We love to turn up the heat in Brazil, where I'm from.. That'S why one of my signature looks is sexy, glowing highlights that make my clients look like they've spent the summer in Ipanema. Hi, I'm JoiCo celebrity hair colorist Dennis De Souza, and I'm here today to show you how to create this surf side. Blonde look with a technique: that's customizable for every client, no matter their hair type, using JoiCo, Lumishine, hair color and two of my go to lighteners.. I have a lot of clients that come into the salon with Ledias natural starting level, which is a seven medium blonde.. She wants to lighten her hair and add brightness for the summer. Today we're going to use JoiCo Blonde Life Lightening powder with ten volume, developer. JoiCo Lumishine permanent cream Hi Lift color in XLN, with 30 volume, developer and JOICO Free Play clay lightener with 40 volume.. To begin section, the hair create a horseshoe section at the top of the head, one on either side from the back of the ears forward and one in the back. Start on the back section and separate a horizontal section at the nape of the neck.. Take a triangle section from just behind the ear gently backcomb and apply formula one. Feather the formula onto the hair in a V shape two to three inches from the roots and fully saturate. The hair from mid to ends.. Using Blonde Life will add a touch of sunshine to give her that beachy. Look that she wants. Repeat on the other side. Then take down another horizontal section. Take a two inch wide slice from the center gently backcomb and apply formula one using the same technique.. Take down the rest of the hair and do two more slices in a brick-laying pattern.. You can adjust the number of foils based on the density of your clients. Hair.! That'S what I love about this technique. It'S completely customizable to each client.! I love JOICO Blonde Life lightening powder because it lifts nine-plus levels quickly and gently leaving the hair, shiny and healthy. Next move onto the side. Sections take a diagonal section along the hair line with baby lines and apply formula two from scalp to ends.. Take a section behind that and repeat a few more times. Again adjust the number of foils based on the density of your clients, hair. With JoiCo Lumishine. Next, take a slice from the top of the remaining hair on the side, section. Gently backcomb and apply formula one with a feathering technique. We did in the back, section. Repeat this process on the other. Side. Then take the hair left out of foils gently backcomb and apply formula one from mid to ends.. Your client will love this extra brightness around the face. Now its time for the top section. Divide, the hair down the center and then separate a two inch horizontal section from the back of the crown.. Take a quarter inch section from the base of this backside. Section. Weave and apply formula two. Fully saturate the hair from mid to ends and feather the formula up to the scalp.. This will soften her natural base., Repeat the process until you reach the top of the section.. Take the hair left out of the foils gently backcomb and apply formula one. Now separate the fringe area from the rest of the top section and clip it out of the way. We'll come back to it. Later., Take a diagonal section along the hairline. Weave and apply formula two. Fully saturate the ends and feather the formula towards the scalp.. Continue this process following the curve of the head until you reach the center part.. Take the hair left out of the foils closest to the hairline. Gently backcomb and apply formula one from mid to end., Repeat on the other. Side. Now go back to the fringe section and part it down the center. On one side feather on formula three starting at the scalp and make sure to fully saturate the ends. I like to customize and foil less to have more control around the face. Repeat on The other side., Let your client process for 30 to 40 minutes and you're ready for a gloss to polish up the look. Do a three inch shadow root using JoiCo Lumishine permanent cream color in 9N, with a five volume developer.. This softens the contrast to give you a more modern end. Result. Then I mix JoiCo Lumishine demi-permanent, liquid color, with 3/4 clear and 1/4 9NV with five volume developer and apply it to the rest of the hair.. Let this process for 10 to 20 minutes, then rinse with JoiCo Blonde Life, brightening, shampoo and conditioner.. Your clients will love how this look makes them feel. Sexy and carefree whether they live near the beach or not.. It'S such an adaptable look that will become one of our go-tos for years to come.
