Hello in today's video i'm sharing my top favorite hair products for fine hair, no matter how i'm styling it, whether it's straight curly or wavy. I live in a hair, challenging area here in new orleans. It'S pretty much always humid and my hair does not stay smooth. Naturally, it's also a little bit dry, but fine, which is a different challenge so i'll be sharing shampoos, conditioners, styling products and tools. The last time i did this video was about a year ago, and i have some staples that still stand true from that time, but also some updates. Welcome back to my channel, welcome if you're new and let's get into my current favorite fine hair products for 2022. So far, shampoo and conditioner is probably where i play around and mix it up the most. I have a few staples that always get rotated back in i'll mention those here in a second, my newest discovery. That'S been living in my shower lately has been the caristas chroma, absolute shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo that i have is the one for fine hair. There are a couple of versions and then i think there's just one conditioner i'll have everything i'm sharing in this video listed and linked down below in the description box. If you just hit the title below the video you can get to all the products i'm sharing, as well as what i'm wearing. What i look for when it comes to shampoo is something that is going to cleanse my scalp thoroughly cleanse my hair thoroughly, but not strip my hair strip, my color, or make my hair feel dry. I basically get that from all of the shampoos i'm going to mention here this included. I also don't want any of them to make my hair feel heavy or coated, or anything like that from a conditioner. I want something that also is going to give my hair nourishment hydration, yet not weigh my hair down at the scalp and make my hair look limp or greasy quickly. I tend to run out of shampoo before i do conditioner. So what i'll be showing you in this video is mostly conditioner bottles, because i've run out of shampoo and i'll be flashing. Some things on the screen, because of that. So i like this combo i'm debating on whether i want to repurchase the shampoo or mix it up a little bit. Another shampoo combination that i really love is briojio, be gentle, be kind that was nice and light. I would say: that's a little bit lighter than the caristas it smells divine. So if you have very fine hair and need something super lightweight, i would definitely recommend that now i consistently rotate in olaplex number four shampoo and five conditioner. I don't have the shampoo here because i ran out of it. These repair strengthen and hydrate all hair types. I kind of thought they were gon na be too heavy because of how they focus on hydrating, strengthening and repairing a lot of times shampoos. That claim that can be a little heavy. These are not they work beautifully on on my hair anyway, i recently talked about the day shampoo and conditioner. I like those as well just giving you kind of the latest things i've really enjoyed and would rotate back in to my shampoo conditioner routine, so bondi boost hg, shampoo and conditioner. This is actually the big size of conditioner. This is really great for stimulating hair growth. You'Ll see a couple of other bondi boost products show up in this video. I love rotating these into my routine every so often just because these do different things for my hair. Keep it healthy, stimulate the scalp to help with growth and less hair loss, which is something that i can get sometimes, and i find it can be very soothing to my scalp as well. Okay. So now, let's talk about weekly treatments that are essential, in my opinion, for hair or scalp health, the first being deep conditioning. So i have two that i'm going to mention here. I slightly favor one over the other, so i have olaplex 8 bond, intense moisture mask and bondi boost miracle hair mask so i really enjoy both of these for adding moisture and nourishment and shine to my hair, just more so than i would get from just regular. Conditioner i slightly favor bondi boost, so normally when i use deep conditioners, i use them at night or i make sure i'm not going anywhere, because my hair is slightly flatter after i use them, they're a deep conditioning treatment. All of that deep hydration that intense deep hydration just makes my hair a little bit flatter a little bit more limp right after using them until the next shampoo bondi boost. Doesn'T my hair behaves normally after i use it. So that's why i slightly favor this one, but they both do a great job. So if that doesn't matter to you, if you're not going to go anywhere right after, i think this one is great as well. I mean i clearly like them, both they're both in this video, another weekly treatment that i think is essential is clarifying, and my clarifying shampoo of choice is whey. Detox, shampoo i've talked about this so many times on my channel. It just helps get rid of all of the build up if you use dry, shampoo or any styling treatments at all, or even if you just don't shampoo every day and your oils kind of build up on your hair. It helps cleanse your scalp and get rid of all that junk to maintain scalp health, and so your hair just looks better and your scalp feels better. It keeps everything in optimum condition. You can do this with apple cider, vinegar, as people always tell me in the videos where i mentioned this, but this has apple, cider, vinegar and keratin in it. So it also helps strengthen and add shine and it doesn't smell bad. It just smells like shampoo, my hair doesn't come away, feeling stripped or dry after i use this. It looks shiny and healthy and pretty i use this, then i use conditioner and it just turns out really nice. I have a few wet styling products that i rely on now. This first one is probably optional. For many of you, i mean i didn't use it for years and years and years until i discovered it, and now i just i really love it. This is the bondi boost intensive spray. This is a leave-in spray with vitamin b5 peppermint and tea tree oils it nourishes the scalp to help promote thicker, fuller hair. It smells good, it's lightweight, it's kind of a pre-treatment. You almost don't even really notice. It'S doing anything because it's not really a styling product, but it stimulates and nourishes from the root, so i've really been enjoying this. I think this is like my third bottle, but it's something i use, so i wanted to put it in this video, so these next two products are products that i use on my wet hair, pretty much every day. There'S rarely a time when i would not use these, no matter how i'm styling my hair. The first is the whey volume spray. This is the spray that i spray right at the top of my head on my scalp. I spray it on and then just kind of rub it in with my fingers, and this is to give my hair a little bit of volume that it wouldn't have without it i mean believe it or not. It would be even less voluminous without this in it. It'S not sticky, it's not tacky, it doesn't have a strong smell and i noticed a difference. If i don't use it now. Last year i was using a different styling product heat protectant. This is what i'm using now. This is the verb ghost prep. I think i got this in a fab, fit fun box originally, and i've purchased it a couple of times, since this is a weightless, moist, weightless, moisture heat, protectant, frizz control product. It actually says on here that it primes fine hair for weightless styling. It'S formulated to moisturize detangle and protect from heat. It'S got morenga oil that infuses the hair shaft with essential nutrients that naturally smooth frizz and promote radiant shine for all hair types. So i take probably that much. What is that? Maybe a dime size, nickel size amount, rub it through my hands and then distribute it through my wet hair, and this is my styling product. It doesn't leave any film or any kind of texture to my hair. There'S nothing sticky or tacky about it, and that's one of the reasons why i like this product so much so, if you're wanting a heavy duty styling product, this is definitely not it now, even though the verb ghost prep has frizz control or anti-frizz in it. I have this alterna caviar, anti-aging, smoothing anti-frizz blowout, better. I'Ve mentioned this on my channel several times. Remember where i live. I live in the humidity capital of the united states and sometimes that verb product just does not quite cut it. So i'll mix in a little bit of this just about that much sometimes i mix it right in with the verb i'll just mix them together, rub them through my hands, sometimes i'll apply the verb and then apply this after. This just gives me a bit of added frizz control insurance without adding extra weight and with where i live, sometimes that's necessary. The majority of frizz control products that are on the market add grease or weight that fine hair can't take, and these products work really really well for our hair type. I really narrowed down my dry shampoos and texture sprays since the last time i did this video. I have one texture spray here and i'm looking and realizing somehow i've lost lids for almost all these products am i alone. Where do they go? Let me know in the comments: if you lose your lids to these products and they're just gone, it's a mystery. I have no idea where they disappeared to so the texture spray that i've been reaching for is the igk beach club volumizing texture spray. This is what i apply after i've styled my wavy or curly hair i'll, just kind of lift it up and spray this through lightly, just to give it a little more volume, a little bit of grip and staying power. It just gives it such a better look than it has without it. I'Ve tried so many different texture sprays, and this is the one i feel like gives me the look that i'm going for you know i just got through saying i narrowed this down, but i do have three dry shampoos here for three different reasons. So my first holy grail i'll call this my holy grail dry, shampoo. This is the one out of all of these that i will make sure i keep in my bathroom as soon as i see i'm running out, i repurchase another one. This is the living proof. Perfect hair day advanced, clean, dry shampoo, this cleans my hair and leaves it soft and shiny. So it helps absorb oil, sweat, odor, whatever you've got going on actually absorb it, but it doesn't make the length of the hair look kind of gray or white or give it that dry look the way a lot of dry shampoos do. This is also really good to kind of preventatively spray into your hair at night. If you know, you're gon na need to get a little bit of wear out of your hair the next day, so the two other dry shampoos that i have are the oribe gold lust. It smells really good and it's a really nice dry shampoo and carrot sauce. It'S another luxury option i think is great and it also smells really good. Basically, every time i wear caristas or oribe, somebody tells me i smell good and i don't need perfume and they work really well. So i do like keeping those on hand too, but i don't use those as much because they're a little bit pricier. If i had to buy one or the other, i would probably buy caristas. I think it works a tiny bit better than the oribe, but they're. Both good before i get into smoothing and finishing products and tools, i want to share a few products that i use for very specific instances. I don't use these all the time or that often, but i like to have them on hand for specific reasons. So the first is living proof amp. I know there are a few of you that really like this product too, so it almost smells like cologne, but i don't notice it after i apply it. This is kind of a paste like product. This is designed to give volume and i'll warm this up between my fingers almost to where you can't even see it. I use this when i want extra volume on top of what i'm getting from a texture spray. Sometimes i use this in lieu of a texture spray. It gives kind of a pc look with with more volume. I just kind of take it close to the root and through my hair and just judge it through, and it magically gives this volume boost. It'S just a really great little product. I have no idea how i discovered it, but i like having it on hand. I don't use it all the time. It'S also great. If you have short hair, i have another frizz product that i reserve for when it's raining or when it's extremely humid outside and i'm going to be out in it. This is the living proof, no frizz, zero, frizz anti-frizz. I don't know it's frizz with a line through it humidity shield. So this is a spray kind of like a hairspray that you spray over your hair throughout your hair and it helps prevent frizz. It is a humidity shield, you kind of have to find your balance of using the right amount of this. You don't want to go too heavy so that it weighs your hair down, but you don't want to go too light so that it doesn't do anything. It can almost kind of give a smoothing effect if you use just the right amount kind of a moderate amount. This is a nice product, i'm glad i discovered it because it can make a huge difference with how my hair holds up where i live. Now, let's talk about finishing products, so the ends of my hair are not normally shiny and smooth. I typically need, on most days a light finishing oil just to give a little bit of shine or kind of sealing to the ends, because the ends the lengths of my hair can just look a little dry kind of have some frizz plus. It just helps things. Look smoother during the day, so the two that i like the most are: the gisu honey, infused, hair oil and my newest discovery. Olaplex number seven gisu is a little bit thicker, although it's not heavy, i would say the gisu would be able to be used across all hair types, whereas number seven, i i don't know if thicker coarse hair would really benefit from it. I feel like it's really light. I'Ve used this before and almost thought isn't doing anything, and then i do notice a difference with the after. I can also put this in my hair during the wet stage before it's dry and i notice that it does dry a little bit smoother. I just use, maybe four or five drops and it's good. A lot of hair oils can make fine hair limp and greasy. They can just be really heavy, and i have been very happy with both of these these next two products are both from moroccan oil and they are essential, holy grail, hair products. For me, this first one is moroccan oil mending infusion repair serum. This is actually for split ends. I don't use it for that. It'S a very lightweight serum kind of light lotion, serum product. I put a tiny amount between my hands kind of rub my fingers together and i will smooth it over anywhere. I have flyaways i mean i will use it for split ends to kind of smooth them, but more times than not, i use it for my flyaways. I don't even think i had any here. The miracle part of this product is that you can use a vat of this and it just doesn't weigh your hair down or ever make it look, wet or greasy, and yet it will smooth those flyaways beautifully and you can reapply it as many times as you Want - and it just never weighs your hair down, i don't understand how it works. I just know that it works and i love it. This is a forever repurchase for me, as is the moroccan oil luminous hairspray. In the strong finish, this is a hairspray that doesn't make your hair look like it has hairspray in it. It holds without feeling, like you, have hairspray in your hair, but it's also the only hairspray i've ever had that has allowed me to actually finish an entire bottle without clogging ever so, while it seems like it's pricey. I'Ve actually gotten my money out of this entire bottle, because every other hairspray i've ever used is just either a nuisance, i'm constantly having to mess with the nozzle or i have to toss it before. I ever finish: okay, let's move on to tools and just various products that i swear by and i keep in my life for dealing with my hair on a daily basis. So two brushes that i use regularly one is the wet brush. I think this is the pro one of the pro versions. This is probably gross so i'll, take it off camera, but i use my wet brush, not just for brushing my wet hair detangling it which it does beautifully, but i mean i just use this on a daily basis, even when my hair is dry. This is the ghd paddle brush. I use this when i'm drying my hair, smoothing it. It just does a great job of smoothing, my hair more so than this. I don't know what they put in this brush to make it to where it smooths your hair. So nicely, but i really enjoy this brush for that and really quickly before i get into the heat, styling tools and whatnot, i have to mention my aquas turbine. This is what goes on my head. Every time i wash my hair. This is my hair. Towel. I'Ve tried other brands and find they can fit awkwardly or the buttons in a weird location, they're too small, or they just don't hold up after washing them over and over and over. I have, i think, three of these in rotation because they absorb so much water. They help with water damage also easier on your hair than having a big heavy towel on your head. I just i love this thing and i will just always have these. In my life, the straightener that i use every day i discovered last year and absolutely love it. It is the ghd platinum styler. I love this because i can turn it on with the touch of a button. If i can find the button i'll show you it's right here, it heats up in. Is it 20 or 30 seconds, which is so quick? I can turn it on turn around to do something, and it is heated up. It'S the optimal temperature for your hair. They created this technology, that is the right temperature. It'S not damaging. The plates are slightly rounded, so i can do waves with it very easily and of course i can straighten with it. I do use this every day because, even if i'm curling my hair or whatnot, i have little kinks that are kind of close to my head that i need to to get out with the straightener. It also shuts off by itself - and i don't know if they all come with a little silicone travel sleeve. But i love that feature because it just slips right over it and it protects all of your things from the heat. If you need to throw it in your suitcase right after you've used it, i just i love the straightener, i'm all about protecting my hair from heat damage as much as possible. The hair dryer that i use is the dyson i switched over from t3 to dyson a couple years ago. It cut my dry time in half. I personally love it. I think it's a great tool. I know everyone is different with how they feel about the dyson hair dryer. It is just a phenomenal tool if you don't want to spend a lot of time drying and dealing with your hair. In my opinion, now i finally got the dyson air wrap in the fall. I dry with this. Sometimes too, i do travel with this instead of the hair dryer, it's just easier for me to bring this and a couple of attachments. That'S something that i really do. Love about having this tool there's something about this attachment that allows me to get the forward kind of thing that i like doing with the front of my hair, better than other methods. I love the way my hair straightens with this. It is a complete personal choice. If you feel like this is worth the money, it is a lot of money. I wouldn't give this up. I really love it. The curls still take me some time, they're, not quick, but i do love how they come out and i love the results. When i straighten, i have a couple of girlfriends that every time i straighten my hair with this, they always comment on how sleek my hair looks so take that for what you well, i think it's a great tool, but again it's a personal choice. Okay, so moving on, i have a few other things here when you see my hair wavy, this is the tool that i use for that from amica. Again, everything is listed and linked down below, but this is just a they call it a crimper now, a long time ago, crimpers were a completely different thing, but i just take this: let it sit, take it down the hair, let it sit put some texture spray In my hair - and i'm done, it's a very, very easy tool to use, and i really like the way these barrels are spaced now, if i have looser waves, sometimes i'll use a flat iron and just turn it a different way, but most of the time it's With this, my new favorite tool for curling, my hair, when i just want a nice curly bouncy voluminous look - is the chi spin and curl. I talked about this in a previous video. I think it's absolutely fantastic. You can't burn yourself and it's great for hair of all lengths. I'Ve used it on my hair. I'Ve used it on my daughter's hair that is really long and my curls last with it. So that is my favorite i, it must be with my hair dryer because i didn't bring it in here either so i'll just have it in the corner and i'll put a clip from where i used it in another video as well. But i i love that tool so so much and i think it's so great for the price i still use my t3 world trio. The two barrels that i use the most are the i think it's 1.25 and 1.5 inch with the clips. Sometimes i will clip my hair in them. Sometimes i'll wrap it and t3 does make curling irons that are not with the trio. You can just get the iron, but it's really nice because their barrels are long. So you can fit more hair. You can make it spiral further down the barrel and you have the option of clipping it into the barrel or twirling it around the barrel either way. This is probably a quicker method than the cheese spin and curl, but my curls don't last quite as long with this as they do the other. So it's it's a trade-off. I know there's a lot of tools, but i test out a lot of products and some of them are favorites and i like having options for different hairstyles. Now i showed this in a video and the results from this, and this is what i use for. Beachy. Curls beachy waves: this is the oval curling wand from ghd. So if you're, someone who doesn't want curls, but you just want something - that's a little bit more undone. This is a great tool to keep on hand. I don't use this as much as i use the other products that i've talked about, but i wanted to include it because i do think that it's a really great option for that look. And finally, we have the two tools that some of you are probably wondering why they haven't been mentioned, yet the revlon one step and the dry bar single shot. Both of these are hair, dryer round brush or oval brush all-in-one tools. So the revlon is this big kind of oval shaped tool, while the single shot is a round brush hair dryer in one. So this is a little bit better if you have shorter hair, whereas this is great for volume. If you have longer hair, they both give that kind of professional voluminous blown out. Look. I find that i use these when i just need my hair done really quickly. I'Ll do a rough blow dry with my hair dryer just to about 75 or 80 percent, then i'll use one of these, so that i get more lift at the root. This one gives that round brush look, whereas this just kind of gives a little bit of curl. At the end, these give volume and smoothness kind of all in one. So those are current tools, hair products, shampoos, conditioners, styling products that i think are great for fine hair, no matter how you're styling it no matter what you're doing that i'm currently loving in 2022. I would love to hear what you're loving in the comments down below, because i'm always testing and trying out new things. I hope you enjoyed this video and found it helpful if you did give it a thumbs up subscribe if you're not. Thank you so much for watching and i'll see you next time. Bye,

irrashinal4dance: My hair stylist introduced me to Bosley products. She had a client bring them to her to use on her. They work great on fine hair. The volumizing mouse and volumizing and thickening nourishing leave in are fantastic for fine hair. I’ve repurchased both!

L.E. Decker: Fine hair girl here. The Revlon dryer brush on low burned my hair right off. My hair was 90% dry and I used heat protectors. I know it works great for a lot of people but it's not for everyone.

Annette Harper: I used the Briogeo for years along with a couple Olaplex products. I still use the Olaplex products but switched to Pureology shampoo and conditioner when the Briogeo was unavailable for several weeks. I love the Living Proof no friz humidity shield, works well in the Houston humidity.

Steph B: I have similar hair type to yours,so it’s encouraging to see we use similar products! I use the Ouai detox shampoo once a week (LOVE that stuff). I also like the Ouai volume spray and IGK texture spray. I’ve been on the hunt for a good conditioner. I will check out the Briogio. Thanks for all the recommendations!

Nichola Bradbury: I love the Dyson Airwrap. I use it more for curling than I originally did. Practice makes perfect. Xx

Tina T: I love that briogio set! I also really like the entire ghost line from verb. Just got the volume shampoo and conditioner from jvn to try, so wish me luck! Thanks for the video!

Debbie Otoole: So happy you made this video, i have fine hair so this was perfect, i use the Olaplex shampoo and conditioner, the Ouai detox shampoo, i love the Living proof advanced clean dry shampoo its amazing, i didn't like the first dry shampoo they had but the advanced clean is miles better. I'm definitely going to try the IGK texture spray, I'm trying the Oribe texturing spray at the moment and its ok but i think it works just like a dry shampoo and its pricey i just bought the travel size. I love my GHD straighteners I've used it for yrs

Sandra: You are truly an amazing content creator!

Kay Chapman: This was a great video for me ! It gets pretty steamy here in Atlanta, too! Thanks for the thorough review of hair products! Random request: Since you go to the beach, can you do a what you need for the beach, such as sunscreen, beach cover-ups, hats, or anything else? I’m looking for a cover-up that is not too see-through and a UPF hat!

Jill: Loved this video & recommendations!! I have always had fine hair and struggle with it more now that I am older. I will def be ordering quite a few of these products!!

Lena Sheppard: Oh I'm so happy that you did this! I too have fine hair. I've tried a couple of the products that you have shared and they have worked just as you've said! Thank you for keeping us company !

sherrydopwell: I, too, have very fine hair, but I found that the Revlon Oval brush damaged my hair pretty badly. I wish I'd never tried it.

Falsies n Flannel: For any of you fellow fine hair peeps who cannot get any curling wand or other tool to curl your fine hair and have it hold for more than an hour or two try the old school Richard Caruso steam rollers! They totally work and depending on how you roll up the sections you can get beach looser waves or tighter traditional curls. They have been my holy grail for years now and I get a lot of comments on my hair when I do it. Hot Tools made a version too but not sure if they still do. The fine hair struggle is real!

Adelina Taraborelli: I so needed this today Stephanie! Thank you.

Ginagal9: Stephanie thanks for this helpful video. I am really tempted by the Chi Spin n Curl for my daughter and myself. We Leos have to keep our hair beautiful

Susan Hemme: Thank you for these suggestions! I'm ALWAYS looking for something for my somewhat thick yet fine hair. BTW.....I lose lids to almost everything! Particularly tooth paste and beauty products. I feel your pain! LOL

Rochelle Ricks: Thanks for talking about hair tools! I enjoyed hearing why you choose one tool over another from day to day and traveling.

DJ ok: Can't wait to try some of these recommendations. My hair is very similar. Thank you so much. I loved this!

Heather Jane: Looks like my comment disappeared I have hair similar to yours and I love Davines (pronounced Da-ven-ess) Replumping shampoo and conditioner. It’s an indie brand my stylist carries, but they also have an Amazon store. I also enjoy their Liquid Spell for adding volume, and their dry shampoos are worth checking out, as well.

Cee Cee: Great informative video, Stephanie Definitely going to check a few items out and love Alterna ♥️

Hazel T: Stephanie, you are looking gorgeous. There are so many helpful items in your video. I do love Kerastase products xx

Louise Sharpy: Ok I’m so here for this. Yes. No one does straight hair videos. Well, the people I follow. Love this I have thin straight hair to waist. Can’t wait for this Perfect video

Mary Abdel-Malik: Love Kerastase great for fine hair I also use the green bottle Volumique

Ada Winford: I have zero lids. They go to play with all the socks I loose. Thanks to you, I love the Bondi Boost stuff.

terri pugh: The lids are with the socks that go missing! The struggle is real Love your channel and content. Thanks for all your hard work.

Kacie: So many great recs, thank you!

smith n: The Amazon Sinland hair wraps are so good. I have purchased them as gifts.

Valerie: Can you recommend where to start for my hair? It's gray, I color my hair, it got thin. My hair texture is thin, but I used to have so much more hair. The back is fuzzy, the ends look stringy. The front and sides are ok. I don't normally dry my hair. I sometimes dry the front. My length is about the same as yours. Maybe an inch shorter. Hairdressers have not given any good advise. I hope you can guide me. Thanks.

Laura Smith: This is such a helpful video for fine hair in the humidity

Lisa Hinton: Can you link the video where you talked about the GHD oval wand for beach waves? I tired searching and can’t find it.

Rochelle Ricks: Also. Could you do a shorter length video (under 10 minutes) just focusing on hair oils?

Kat Sm-Wo: I use all Aveda products as I love them over 20 years. Have you ever tried their line?

Patti Laskey: I rather be low maintenance. I don’t have that kind of time anymore. Dyson blow dryer love. I like Paul Mitchell Wild Ginger awapuhi moisturizing lather shampoo and the awapuhi keratin cream rinse. No tangles! Tried Olaplex #5 conditioner, but on my hair, still prefer the Paul Mitchell!

Manon Deraspe: I bought Kerastase and i can't stand the sent it covers my perfume. It's the conditioner i think , it smells so strong. This said the quality is very good but i won't repurchase.

Aina Sevén: You look so glowing

Maribeth Schlosser: The kids go with the socks that go missing from the dryer!
