I would appreciate it. I would really love it. I love to engage with you guys and share get some things about beauty makeup fashion, any of those things with you guys so come on over subscribe and enjoy the videos. Next thing: if you're not following me on Instagram, make sure you are at all Melos to make sure you hit the notification boat. So you know when I post a video if your phone me on Instagram I'll always post something saying that I have a new video out in case. You miss it because these algorithms, with all these social media things kind of get everything mixed up, and you may not even see my video in your feet so make sure you're subscribed make sure you, the notification bell, make sure follow me on Instagram. Okay. So, yes, that this outfit looks familiar, I just filmed the video showing the things that I feel are essential when you are trying to maintain your street hair, and so I was like well, I want to do a video where I show you the different ways that I preserve my hair at night and I'm like well this you know little kimono looks very like nighttime bedroom. It sounds like I might as well just keep it on, because this is like a nighttime routine thing that I'm doing for my hair, so why? I feel the need to give a disclaimer every time I repeat out, but in the video I don't know, but I just do so. That'S that okay. So there are several ways that I like to preserve my hair at night when I'm wearing it straight, which are all super easy and simple. They require no key minimal effort, but it really allows you to maintain the straight hair and give it a little body a little bit of wave and keep it nice and neat. So that's what I'm going to show you guys. I'M gon na show you guys the different ways that I like to preserve my hair. Okay. So before we even get into any type of styling we're gon na put a little bit of are here not too much whether my hair is curly or straight. I always like to use rollerball and get my edges because those can get neglected or those are always exposed, whether it's in the shower or whatever. I just like to make sure that I got all those up and keep it nice and neat. Next, I'm going to put a little bit of oil in my hands, I'm just using this spread out, which I will be below and I'm just gon na put a little bit on my ends. I'M not gon na put it throughout my hair, because I don't want my hair to get way down, I'm just putting some on the ends of my hair to help with the frizz. My hair is still pretty freshly washed. I haven't really had it out too much. So there are a lot of flyaways and still very, like you know when your hair is freshly washed, so it's just kind of like really light and airy, which I love, but there's a lot of flyaways. So I'm going to do that next, I'm just going to comb through my hair, just to get rid of any tangles, make sure that it's nice and smooth for me to preserve it at night. I like to kind of brush this part back, so that I can make sure my edges stay smooth and neat. So let me just tell you guys the one technique that I'm not going to show in this video is me wrapping my hair and even when I was relaxed, I've never been that kind of person to wrap my hair number one. My hair is really thick and long, and it just takes too much effort to do that. Number two. I don't like the fact that when you wrap your hair for me, I feel like it makes your edges very tender and I don't like combing or brushing my hair to the opposite direction that it grows in because then, when you take it out, I feel like It just is hard to lay back down so for me, that's just never been something that I've really been into, so I'm not going to show that we all know how to wrap our hair, which we all probably know how to do all these techniques. I'M going to show to you, but once again I'm just sharing with you what I do and how I maintain my hair, so the first one that we're gon na do, which is something that I did every night when my hair was relaxed every single night. I would pin curl my hair, pretty sure we all know what pink curling is. I don't use huge sections. Typically I mean I don't. Let me bet that I don't use small sections too. Pink rub my hair. I always just did really big sections, not too big, but I guess like medium sized sections, just to kind of like preserve the curl. So before I pink run my entire here I'll show you guys a technique that I do in the morning. So the one I use most often I'll show you guys at the end. But in the morning after I wash my face and before I do my makeup, I will take my hair down and I can curl the sides, because I have my sides kind of cut in a little bit of a layered way so that it kind of like Flows back so I take these sides and I pin them like this, so you can see. I have two big pink rose there and I have one big pink curl there and then what I'll do is I'll take a scrunchie. This one is like super stretched out. This okay, I take a scrunchie and I take the remainder of the hair, that's in the back and I'm basically just gon na twist it up in a bun. So one thing you want to do: you want to twist it at their root, but I don't like to twist too much hair like I'll just kind of wrap it straight, because I don't want the hair to be going in like different directions when I take it Out so this is what I do and you could go to sleep with it like this. If you want like, if you've had an early morning, you didn't have time to do this before you get ready. You can sleep with it like this, so you know we use different things to tire here down I use a silk scarf. I use the bonnet. It just depends whatever you to use whatever you use to tie your hair up, use that I also sleep on a silk pillowcase just for double protection from my not only my hair, but a silk. Pillowcase is great for your skin too it minimizes wrinkles. So I will do all that and then I just tie it up and for me using a silk scarf on my hair anytime, I'm doing any kind of flat or straight styles. It just lays it down and makes it nice and smooth. So if you want to go to sleep with it like this, you totally put it then in the morning you just take up or chemicals in the bun, but, like I said for me, I just kind of do this in the morning because of the weight I'll Show you guys that I like to do it mostly super easy and simple, even though this is super easy to but yeah this is it like Tiger up and then, when you take it down in the morning, you'll have really nice, like flowy waves in the front And then fully waves in the back, so that is one way, even though I have two fingers up, that's one way to do it. The next way is to just pin curl all of your hair, so I already have these. Like. I said I personally like the pink on my hair in bigger sections. I don't ever like a tight curl, so there's no purpose in me: chilling small pink rose and when you're doing the parafilm make sure that that the hair that you're pinning up is nice and smooth so that you don't get any like dents or anything in your Hair when you take it out of the morning, so that is it, I will literally just do a bunch of big pink Carlos tie it up with the scarf again when you're doing into the pin curls. Even if you do a bonnet make sure you put something like a scarf or net or something on it just to keep the pin curls intact so that they don't fall out. So if you have the scarf on it, then it just neatly is held up on your hair and it's not going to come out. You can also do this in the morning, like I said I do the size in the back. You can do it like this morning and take it down it'll be nice and flowy, so that is style number dos new middle of those okay. Next, I will show you guys. I think I have like three more so these ones are. Super duper easy, okay, so the next one you can do is you can just do a nice low bun. So just take your hair make sure it's all, but I like to just kind of smooth it out to make sure it's nice and neat, no lumps and bumps and we're literally just gon na do a twisted bowline, and that is it. That is so easy super easy than you once again. Just tie your scarf on it when you take out in the morning super easy to take it out and you'll have really pretty way: -- vs and then you just calm it down brush it down whatever it is you like to do and then proceed to style. It or just wear it down, I mean you guys. These are like so easy, they work so well. You end up with like really pretty beautiful waves. It'S like you did like big flexi rods in your hair, but you didn't have to do it with the uncomfortableness of flexi rods. You just had a super easy breezy button, so the next thing is just two buttons, so it's the same process really. I think that what determines which one you do is just what's easiest for you, what you like, maybe depending on your hair lengths certain ones, may be easier than others for you to do once again, we're just going to take the hair tie it around, and I Always use silk scrunchies, so if you can make sure you use silk scrunchies, because those are just like using a silk scarf and like using a soap pillowcase so get just the best thing to use on your hair. It protects it. The most keeps it nice and healthy and although it looks like I'm being kind of like quick and messy, I'm just used to doing this but, like I said, make sure before you do the twist or the pin curls your hair is nice and smooth out and That you're, mindful of higher, twisting it so that you don't end up with a mess in the morning, so this is this business. This is that whatever and then you just go ahead and tie it up with the scarf so one more way that I do, which is the way that I do it every night, because it's just so easy for me to do okay, so this last step is My favorite, this is what I do every night. It'S I wear my hair when I'm in the house. It'S super easy and quick, and this is just the best way that I love to do it okay, so that is it basically just a super untamed ninja, but so go to sleep. This Is It. This is what I do I just twist it up like this. Then I wrap it up with my scarves and cover with on it, and then I call it day. So that's it that was style number six right, I'm a knight keeping track of these style numbers. So I think that was done. Number six number, five number: six. Whatever so that is it, that is the last one that I do. This is what I do every summer is how my hair is every time I'm in the house and my hair straight. This is how my hair is. When I go to sleep, it's super easy fast takes like two minutes. The longest one is the pin curls, which maybe takes like five minutes, if even that, but these are just really great ways. If you're just sitting around the house or like I said at night great ways to protect your hair, you know refrain from using any heat, because when you put any of these dogs in here, it's gon na keep your hair a really nice wave. As if you just use heat or if you used like those big flexi rods, but it's so much more comfortable, it's easy as fast, and you know just pick whichever one works best for your hair. I think the one that works best for any length of hair would be the pink rose. But if you have any type of length tear here, if you can get into a ponytail, then you can probably get it in the low bun or the high bun or the side buttons or any of the styles. So that's it! I'M about to go! Watch August! Makeup up take a shower and starts editing, videos. Okay, so I hope you guys enjoyed this video. I hope you found it to be somewhat helpful. Let me know down below if you're gon na try some of these laser. If you already utilize some of these ways, I mean these are nothing like genius or new. These are just different techniques that I have found to be most beneficial for me over the years, but yeah, let's share. If you have any other ways that you do your hair at night, when you're wearing it straight that you want to share, go ahead and share it, I'd love to have some new ideas, but that's pretty much it. So I hope you guys enjoy this video and make sure you give it a thumbs up if you enjoy it. That'S lets me know whether I should continue to do videos like this, because you guys, like them or not and yeah everything you need will be in the description box below. As always and I'll see you guys in my next video bye,

Rachna Karthik: Straight hair maintenance and routines are so underrated.. no one really talks about keeping straight hair straight and healthy

Taradise: "#5, #6, whatever." I haven't straightened my hair in a few years. When I do, I just use a satin scrunchy & make a looped ponytail on top of my head. That's my one & only, quick, easy, lazy, around the house & nighttime method. I sleep on a satin pillowcase & wake up with waves. Keep doing what you're doing. You have a very pleasant personality.

Shanita Kitts: I did #5/#6 last night and it WORKED PERFECTLY!! I used to wrap my hair when I was relaxed and sometimes I'd wake up with weird ends and lumps. The high bun is where it's at!! I pulled my hair down and it had waves and flips like I curled it! Great tip! I've followed you my entire natural journey and I still use a lot of your techniques and some of the recommended products. I've been relaxer free since 7/2017 and my hair is longer, stronger, and healthy than it has ever been!! Thank you so much. You are amazing!

karen horton: I’ve never seen such giant pin curls You’ve got great hair Sis I don’t wear my hair straight because I had no idea how to preserve it‍♀️ Your tips may allow me to venture further. Thx, very helpful.

Life at the GreeneHouse: You really radiate beauty. Your face, your hair, your personality

Latoya Williams: I don’t know how to wrap my hair. I was relaxed from the age of 10 to 29. I’ve tried but it’s a no go. Now I’m natural and I flat iron once a year ( blowout 4 times). TFS . Your hair is lovely. Been watching since you were transitioning.

anaïs✨: I do a combination of these. When I first get my hair straightened, I pin curl it. Then when I'm ready to change it up and want loose waves, I divide it in half, pin curl my bang and make two high twists with the remaining hair.

Jori Chioma: Thank you so much for this video!! I wish I saw this a few days ago, but I still have time to save this silk press

msmas777: Used to hate wrapping my hair! I stopped doing that almost 20 yrs ago because it was damaging my hairline. Hairline going towards the left which is the way I wrapped it was smooth but starting to thin and the opposite side was always rough and oddly started to hurt

Eve Q: All of the methods leave my hair wavy but I wanted to keep it straight

nannypans: Lovely hair and nice tips. For the wrapping issue, I found a solution. Brush your hair straight back and put on a headband. Then wrap your hair behind the headband. Remove the headband and tie it up. Not only will you have no temple pain but also you’ll be able to part your hair any way you want and not just on the side you wrapped it.

Melissa Leon: Your hair is so beautiful and healthy.

Shelia Bowman: So beautiful. Thanks for another great video!

Skye Blue: I'm going to try the low bun and the two low side buns. What I've been doing is using a satin scrunchy and put it into a low ponytail and then I'd put satin scrunchys down the length all the way to the end but as I can see now the bun would give me more of a wave while ensuring the ends are tucked away. Thanks for the video! Your hair is just gorgeous.

Taylor: hi:) i have curly hair, like pretty curly haha. and i straightened it this morning. and i was talking to my friends in a group chat about how i was nervous bc i didn’t know how to keep it looking nice when i wake up tomorrow... one of the girls suggested using a silk scarf. but then one of the other girls told me i can’t do that because i’m not black:/ i thought a lot of people put their hair in silk scarfs when going to bed?? i just really want to maintain my hair when it’s straight but i don’t know how anymore. like i can definitely put my hair in a bun, but i don’t have a scarf. i also don’t know if i can use a scarf in the first place. help anyone!! i’d like to keep my hair straightened during the cold months for a change from my curly hair:)

Rosie Bottom: Thank you. Have just pin curled my hair thanks to you!

Myrna J: Love it as always. ‍♀️ I use to just Wrap it and use my Scarf at night.

ocherry95: Thank you SOOO much. I thought I was the only one who got tender edges. When i tell other ppl they always look at me wierd. Like im not doing it right.

GLAMOURCHiCK89: I normally do the Bantu knots which are the two buns you did. The only issue I have my edges are all sweaty when I wake up

Jelly Anderson: Has anyone else had sore scalp when wrapping traditionally? My hair is to my lower back and it's such a pain to wrap...

Briggett Mumphrey: Mascara tips are a great alternative as well with desired oil

Stefan Salvatore's Wife: I'm a straight haired girl, and I want to protect my hair so that I keep it healthy, but when I braid it, sometimes it gets creased, especially when it's heavy on moisture, and I don't like sleeping in buns? Can anyone help with this?

🐸 maisa 🐸: starts at 4:30

Indian Ocean: You look stunning with just the black scarf. Really show cases your skin and face.

Briggett Mumphrey: Which roller ball do you use?

Briggett Mumphrey: I mean which oil in roller ball do you use? I would love one!!! Where to purchase them

KoriYander: I subscribed to her without even watching the video, because I subscribe to all the beautiful sistahs.

Naraendra Reddy: What a beauty you are!

Benito Camelas: All the ways you showed leave creases in the hair

Erin Mu: Confused... These methods give you wavy hair.. I thought we are going for straight.

mom mum kitchen: Nice

beginstepper:

pixel: I get that this is 3 years old but I wish you explained some of these techniques. I don’t know who “you all” is but not everyone watching these videos knows what these techniques are. I’ve never heard of pin curling. Like I’m 4 minutes in and already lost lmao. Assuming your audience knows this stuff beforehand isn’t the greatest.

Valeria .: i have short hair

It’s Giselle: What if I don’t have like a scarf and only a silk scruchie
