Hey guys so in today's video i'm going to be sharing how to create these beautiful and natural nail extensions, using tips as well as builder gel. So let's get right into the video alright. So for my senior pictures, i actually went ahead and did these new kind of extensions that i've never done on myself, and i was really in love with the outcome and i figured i would go ahead and film a quick tutorial for you guys. So you can see one of the newer ways. I'Ve learned how to do some extensions as well as a super easy technique, so i'm actually going to have to remove one of the nails to show you how to do it. So that's what i'm doing here. I just clipped off the excess length with my sparkling co, tip cutter and now i'm taking a 100 grit nail file and i'm just filing down the builder gel product. So there is a layer of gel top coat and then a pretty good amount of the builder gel over the tip. So i'm going to file a decent amount to really thin that down and make the soak off process a lot faster. And here you can see how thin i really filed that product down and i did take off the excess tip length. And now i just soaked a little piece of cotton in some pure acetone and i'm placing my nail clip on top. And i let this sit for about four minutes, and now i'm just taking a metal, cuticle pusher and pushing off and scraping any of the lifted product. This is not a harsh process. You should be very gentle while doing this, and i'm only taking off the product that has lifted and then, of course, i'm going to keep repeating this process until all of the gel is soaked off, and i find this is one of the more gentle methods of Removal, instead of just filing completely down to the natural nail, so i'm going to, let you guys watch me finish up the removal process and then i will go ahead and get into the actual process of the extensions. So all right so for this process, i'm starting with my sparkling co, ph prep liquid, and this is going to dehydrate the nail surface and prep it for the application, and i also went ahead and push back the cuticles and gently buff the surface of my nail, Which i didn't show in the video and then i just showed the tips i'm going to be using. They are my favorite mccart, clear tips and i adhered them using my double dipped base, liquid, which is basically just a nail glue and for some reason i didn't film me actually applying the tip. I could have sworn i did, but i guess i didn't so anyway. I just adhered that to my natural nail and now i'm cutting down the excess length and generally cutting it into the shape i'm going for and now of course, i'm going to perfect that shape using my nail file and for this specific manicure i was going for Sort of a tapered square coffin effect - i didn't want them to be super unnatural, looking and i find that this is a pretty natural shape. So that is what i went for and then i'm going to go ahead and buff the surface of the tip as well. After going along the free edge and side walls, then i'm going to apply another layer of my sparkling coat, ph prep to the natural nail to dehydrate it, and then i'm going to go in with a layer of my sensational gel primer. Now this is not necessary. I just find that it helps my gel last as long as possible, so i applied a thin layer of that to my natural nail as well, and here is the builder i'm using. It is called builder light beige from madam glam, and this whole line from them is really great. They have a lot of different shades of this builder gel and i really do enjoy them. So i will link my discount code below for madame glam. In case, you guys want to check that out, but basically for this process, all i'm doing is taking a bigger bead of the gel and spreading it out on my nail and i thin it out towards the cuticle area and tip of the nail and try my Best to build an apex and then i cure in between each layer. So here i ended up doing two coats, and this is the second coat and i don't really try to make it perfect right here, because you totally can go in and file after. I'M just trying to generally build up the structure and after i've fully cured both layers of the gel i'm going to remove the tacky surface, with some rubbing alcohol and a lint-free wipe, and now i'm going to go ahead and completely file and shape the nail. So i always start on the fridge and sidewalls and perfect that shape. And then i like to go along the top of the nail and sort of angle my file down, and this is going to help thin out the tip area and have that nice curve. And then, of course, i like to go around the cuticle area to make it nice and flush with the natural nail, and that is generally the filing routine. I always do for all of my nail structures and once the filing is complete, i'm going to seal in the extension with my nail attic, noip gel top coat, and this is going to add a beautiful shine to the nail and really bring out that color. So i'm just applying a thin coat and then wrapping the free edge and curing for 30 seconds and then i'm going to rehydrate my skin and nails. Using my happy cuticle coat oil and here is the finished manicure. I was able to create using the builder gel and tip extension method. I think this is honestly one of the easiest methods of extensions i've done. It can be a little bit tricky with the builder gel sort of moving around, but i find that this, madam glam product works really great and it's relatively easy to use. So i hope you guys enjoyed this video and found it helpful if you did be sure to give it a like and subscribe down below, and i will see you in the next one. You

Vaping Gaming: Just a tip I see often that I didn't see here? After applying builder gel, flip the nail over for about 10 seconds before curing. It will help create a natural Apex. Additionally- You can also use a thin brush (or brush edge corner) to gently draw a line down the center vertically to draw the gel in towards the height of where you want your Apex to be (just before or during your "flipover").

Farah James: This is literally what I searched on YouTube and you are a lifesaver because it was such a short video but so much information in it I love the way that you did it I love how easy it looked you are a great YouTuber thank you so much

Corina Rose: I've been using polygel and a colored gel polish over it and the removal process wasn't easy I've been looking into builder gel and I am super interested.

Roze318: Great technique with using the tips and builder gel on top. I had not thought of doing that but seems like its a great way easily to add length. How long did this set last using the builder gel?

Kejuan Lynette: You do such a good job! I enjoy your videos

Randi Maxam: I absolutely love Madam Glam's Builder Gel Light Beige! I bought 2 bottles just because I fell in love. Been waiting on a nice DIY video & finally after 2 or 3 months or waiting you have surprised me with a great one(: you make it look so dang easy, i know ill have a few errors again but its well worth it. You made a flawless set of nails! And should be very proud of yourself Kate!! Great job. Perfection at its finest Thank you very much(:

Heather Kellman: This is awesome! Question: I've tried this but I end up with a ledge where the tip meets the natural nail. Is it the way I'm placing the tip do you think? (My tips have a "well" does yours?) Also, have you tried to dip over builder gel? When I do it seems to get too thick. Any suggestions?

Kalai T.: an absolute fav! I've been doing this since you first showed the Madam Glam Builder Gels!! LOVE!

Gabby Lopez: Yay I was hoping you would do a video like this on your take of this method. Thank you.

Angelisa Hardy: I love that color. It looks so natural

Sydney Smith: Would love to see a tutorial on this with natural nails!!

Annarose Lepley: Finally a tutorial on removing them!!!

Cinzia C.: So cute! to make a natural apex, turn your finger upside down so that the gel will make a natural apex.

Ashlin Watkins: I want to try this with a layer of clear dip underneath for a more even coat. Thanks for the video!

GamerMom: That builder gel color!!! I’m obsessed!

E J: This video is extremely helpful thank you for sharing!

Joanna Pedraza: How sturdy are your nails with the builder gel? I’m interested. I normally do acrylic over the builder gel to protect my nails but I’m pretty hard on my nails and need something that will last

xxmaliciosaxx: beautiful as always :)

Mommyof4 Odomes: I will definitely be using this. I need to add extension and builder gel in a bottle I would prefer. Thanks for sharing

usha singh: Beautiful your nails are perfect length.

Makeup with Mariela: Beautiful nails

Nancy EL: Very pretty! Is there any difference between builder gel and polygel? Thank you.

Maggie Mccarthy: Love it

Olivia O'Connell: For different colours, could I apply gel polish on top of the builder gel? Would this require a base coat or just directly on top of the builder gel?

kathy k: Great tutorial! How could you apply dip over this, do you know the process?

Elizabeth P: hey, I noticed you didn't use a base coat from madam glam... do you think that affects how long they last or does it not matter if you have a tip? x

Melissa: I love this video and I’m so glad I saw it because this is exactly what I want ty new subber

neicie: do you prefer builder gel or polygel for natural nails?

maddy T: do you have a certain e nail drill i think it’s called that you recommend for beginners but still is able to remove gel and dip?

Mi Chiko: Isn’t need base coat before builder gel?

Albena Andonova: How long do these last? They lok great!

Olivia Charlotte: Can anyone help please? I’ve tried this and my client said they all just came off. I did it exactly like this? Is the builder strong enough for tips and long lasting? (Part of me thinks the client I did it on was very rude and the ‘all falling off’ might not be accurate but just wanted to check x

Terri Johnston: I’ve been biting the skin around my nails now I have some type of an infection because my nail is very weak and just peeling away on 2 of my fingers. Any tips of what I can use to help my nails grow back?

amitha doria: How long does it last??

Maria Robes: I have been dying to try builder gel but hate the removal, it takes longer than dip, maybe I can just keep them soaking longer.

Sami Metheney: Wait did you say senior pictures? Girl how old are you? These are absolutely beautiful by the way LOL thank you so much for all your videos, I watch every last one!

namastayhere: Have you tried the gel remover nail polish?

Nan Borton: A SENIOR in HS - impressive young lady.

Nadine Basenga: My builder gel always peels off even after using sticky bond. Maybe it doesn't harden properly under the lamp. Please help

Yabrill Ruda: Hi. Builder gel and rubber gel are the same?

Kathy McDowell: Cute

ShairmaineJoyce Cole: Hi do u have any idea what causes mine to have white spot after applying top coat im seeing alot of white spot in my nails

Poppi_Weasel: this is nice, but why not use an e-file to shape these?

Argi Vlachou: I have seen people use base gel instead of nail glue for the tips. Do u think I will be able to remove them afterwards and how? Asking cause nail glue never works for me somehow

Tuff Mutt: hi may i ask why you didnt use a gel base coat BEFORE you apllied the gel top coat
