Watch Me Package Orders! Entrepreneur Life! | How To Start Selling Hair Extensions|

Oh, it's hot, my goodness is one of the hottest days in new jersey. Today i mean i've been asking for this weather, so i shouldn't be complaining right, but i am i am so today you are going to watch me package up two orders or maybe one. I think one is enough: you're going to watch me sort how i sort out my my packages for the day and how i package it so without further ado. Well, first, before we get into that, let me tell you: intense beauty will be five years old this year. I would have never thought i would have had so much success with this business. When i went into business, i really had no clue what to expect. I was doing it just to do it just because i liked hair um, and it really just blew my mind how successful it has become, how i was able to grow it by myself. How i was able to really like really like. I was able to do it like how i was able to do it period like financial, how i was just able to do it, and now i have a car with my logo on it. Now my business has grows almost 250 000 last year, like this is stuff that i just would never have imagined, and it only happens with hard work and persistence like you've got to be dedicated to yourself. You got to be dedicated to your brand and you really just got to believe in yourself and know like if you keep doing it and you keep putting your all into it all like everything you got into your business, it is going to blow your mind like I promise you, i promise you what i what i would tell somebody who just starting out is do not give up, because when you give up you give up on yourself like period like you really don't know where your business could go. You really don't know. What is in the cars for you? So if you just give up like too soon you you cheated yourself, like you cheated yourself out of a lot, you really cheated yourself out of a lot, but i am not going to babble or ramble. Let'S just get to it, what i normally do is i package all the orders up and i lay them all out on the floor and i like make sure that i have everybody's hair together and you know labels printed and everything like that and then what i Usually, do is i'll come back the next day and then that's when i'll do tags put everything inside the bags put everything in the packaging label it up package it up and then i'll ship it. So it usually takes me two days to package hair um like the process, because it's a long process like i'd, be having a lot to do with my hair. I don't just package it up like how you see it and just put it in the box like that. It'S like i do a lot to it. So i'm gon na show you how you know. I do one how i package up one order and then that's just how i do it so hey guys in this clip. You see me um, getting the hair out of the storage that i usually store, my hair in i'm, going off of the customer's receipt and i'm just going line by line seeing what they ordered. I'M pulling it out of my little cube storage and i'm just putting it next to their receipt. So that way, i have everything in order um and then once i have everything that they have, that they order and i put it next to their receipt. I move on to the next order and i just do the same thing until i have everything set in order where, when it comes back to putting packages in the packaging, everything is already organized. So usually, when i am packaging up orders, i have everything laid out in front of me. I have the box that i'm putting in. I have my tags um. My thank you cards my ribbon because i put ribbon in my packages. I have my organza bags um. My tag gun my hole, puncher scissors envelopes, oh and i'm missing the other envelopes and my other envelopes, because with me i send your invoice and everything inside of your packaging. I don't. I don't, send your order without your invoice. That way, you know exactly. What'S in your order - and it helps me when i package as well, that i know exactly what is in your order, also in my packaging i forgot to mention - i put a free gift inside every package, which is a brush just a free brush with my logo. On it - and i put it inside everyone's practicing, just a little free gesture that i give them and then also like seasonal gifts that i have, if you purchase over a certain amount, you get a free bag, or sometimes i have bonnets or something like that. But just little things like that, go along the way when you're trying to like get new customers or get people to buy from you, because people want more than just hair. Nowadays, everybody sells hair, they go to the beauty, supply store and get some hair like people. Just want a little bit more and it doesn't really cost that much money like believe it or not. If you, google, you'll, find out that little things like that, don't really cost a lot. So what i do when i package my orders, is i go by the receipt it makes it so much easier, so everything that they got sometimes i have the hair already tagged. Sometimes i don't like this was a new shipment of hair. So it's not tagged. I'M tagging as i go, which is okay, so i just write down everything on the tag. So here you just see me writing the name of the hair that the customer order on the tag i go line by line, and i just write the name of the bundle and i write the length of the bundle once i do that i take my tag. Gun and then i put the tag on the weft of the bundle um i do that for each individual bundle and then i put each individual bundle in its own organza bag, and then i put the bag inside of the box um for closures. I do the same thing and then i put each closure or each frontal in his own bag. I do each bundle in its own bag, so they don't rub with each other. Sometimes i might do two bundles in the same bag if they're the same type of bundle, i might the same texture i mean i might put them in the same bag. It just depends on how i'm feeling that day, but usually i like to put each bundle in its own bag so that they don't rub and they stay in a nice pattern until the customer receives it, and i just pack them in there no specific way and Really that is it, i put the receipt inside the envelope so now it's time for the ribbon. This is the finisher. This is how i finish my packaging just tie it that's it. This is the package that they receive when they get their hair in the mail. I never i didn't really used to do this. I only started doing this about um a year ago, and i always tell people like when you first start your business you're, going to make a lot of changes like a lot of stuff is not going to be like what you start doing right off the bat. So i started doing that. A year ago i never used to get brushes. I started doing that about a year ago. I didn't used to do the bags all of this came recently. I just had like a idea - and i was like you know i just want to put something in the box - make it a little bit more. You know. Thank you like. Thank you for spending your money with me. Here'S this here is that here's, a little touch of you, know a little dab of spice in there for the ribbon, like i just wanted to jazz it up. I didn't really want to change too much of it. I just wanted to add a little a little elf to it. You know, so i think the ribbon did it and i, like it, a lot, and i think my customers, like it too, so i just put it in the bag - put the label.
