Good Or Bad Quality Hair?? I How To Test Your Hair Extensions

So much for all of your comments, all of the love and support that you guys show my family um. This. The flu season kicked our books like we got sick back to back and it was crazy. So I've been going for a week, but I'm so so excited to be back and give you guys some good fresh knowledge to help you guys grow in this industry. I am all for spreading the love spreading the wealth spreading the knowledge people. If you know you have a good bender or you have some good quality hair, so we're just gon na jump right into it tip number one: the burn test. A lot of people are getting this wrong and I really don't know why. But they are when it comes to the burn test. The only thing you need to do is cut off a piece of whiffed from your extensions notice. I did not say take a strand from the bundle. No, you want to cut off at least one inch to one till about. Well, you want to cut off at least a half inch to inch of the weft, so you will know if there are any fillers any synthetic hairs in the bundle. Once you light the bundle on fire, it should turn to ash immediately. Just like your normal hair would it goes the same way every single time you take a piece of hair. You light the hair on fire. The hair turns to ash test number one passed right right. So if the hair turns to like this putty texture, if it balls up into plastic thing, you know you have synthetic hair or you have fillers, which is not good. You do not want that. That will bring the brand quality down and it will hurt your business. So the burn test tip number two, the bleach test. I would advise that you seek a professional if you are not used to using chemicals on here a little disclaimer but you're the boss of your company. So you can do what you want to do right. That is the beauty of owning your own company. When it comes to the bleach test, you definitely want to process this hair. Put it through as much as you, possibly you possibly can. I cannot talk you. You want to put the hair through as much as you possibly can. When you are bleaching the hair. You want to use at least thirty thirty volume developer or more. You want to put the bleach on the hair and let it sit for as long as possible, and I will tell you why, because the longer you leave it on there, the more you'll know how much your hair can take and the better their quality the longer It can withstand processing right so when it comes to the bleach test, if the hair does not begin to live within the first five to ten minutes, let it go cease. Just let it go just keep it pushing, don't even waste your time. That is not going to be worth your time. I promise you that, as you leave the hip as you leave the bleach on the hair, if the hair begins to smoke, that is not good quality here, so that goes out the window and you go back to the drawing board again. These are just things that I have learned over the years. Things that have helped me choose great quality hair for my business and I've never had a customer complain so take it or leave it tip number three: the wear test. All of you out here asking people. Does this look like good quality hair? Does this look like good quality hair honey? You will not know unless you wear the hair, you have to wear your hair, you have to wash it. You have to deep conditioning. You have to blow-dry it you have to flat iron, it you have to curl it. You have to ride with your windows down, so you'll know how the weather affects it. Let it get rained on, if possible, like you, have to literally put this hair through, whatever your natural hair will go through, you have to expose it to the elements. That'S the only way to see how it will truly react. Another thing all hair tangles, all hair tangles, even your natural health, hair tangles. So all these people talking about no tangling, no shedding all hair, shapes all hair tangles. Let'S just let's just put that out there. We are about telling the truth in 2019, like if you say minimum, then okay, if you say little to none, then okay, but sis you saying good like come on now: y'all, let's be real in 2019. Okay, can we do that? Let'S just tell the truth. In 2018, that that's what needs to be done because lying to these people and then they get to three pieces of strand, and then they want their money back. You can just brought on a world of trouble for no reason when you could have told them in the beginning: hey all here, it's human hair! It'S going to mimic what your hair does. If your hair sheds 50 to 100 strands a day, then what do you think human hair is going to do it's going to do the same thing, but it doesn't need to be in excess okay, so that is the where test and another trick with the wear Test iron, the hair: when you get out of shower and you just wet the hair iron, the hair, if they hear it turns to steam, then honey. You got some good hair. Okay! Try that, no not with the flat iron! You can do that too, but when the hair is dry, I mean, when you wash your hair, take a clothing iron, put it on your hair. If the hair steams, then you're good to them tip number four at the length test. Now, when it comes to the length different vendors will tell you different things, but for the most part, your length needs to be true from top to about an inch from the bottom. You have to think about your hair. Again, your hair has its full luster from tip not all the way to the ends, but maybe to about an inch, an inch and a half. So the same thing needs to go for your bundles. You want to measure the hair. If you have sixteen inches, then your bundles should be about 17 and a half inches. That'S how you get the true length to a good bundle, kind of and last but not least, last but not least, put products in the hair. Please put products in be here. You want to know how the hair will react to every single situation that your customer is going to put it through. Not everybody is educated on here, so you don't know what they're going to do. But if you test in advance, then you should be pretty good too, but you should be pretty good. Okay, so definitely put products on the hair wash the hair flat iron, the hair with products without products put heavy products on the hair, put all on the hair, put whatever you could think of on the hair and see how the hair reacts if the hair can Withstand all of that, after you wash it, and it goes back to its natural luster, then honey. You have a winner right, but at the end of the day, no vendor is perfect. You'Re going to get seven out of ten with a really good vendor with a great vendor, you might get eight out of ten, but there is no such thing as a perfect vendor. So I don't want you guys to continue to just sit there and miss out on these coins because you're trying to find the perfect vendor it does not exist. It does not exist. I'M sorry to tell you that, but it does not exist. Even the people that are telling you that they have the perfect vendor on this perfect vendor list. No, they don't. It does not exist.
