Platinum Faux Locs On Full Lace Wig | *Detailed* Tutorial + Full Wig Install Ft. Janet Collection

What'S up y'all, it's alfred and i am back with another video okay thought. I filmed this intro and i filmed all of this before, but i guess not for today's video, i'm bringing you all something cute, we're doing platinum, blind locks for today period period period. I just showed you all how to do like the faux locs with the marley hair, but we're going to be crocheting them in today. So same locks just another technique. Basically, we'll be partnering up with janet collection because, as i told you all last time, they have hella different types of braiding, hair, hello, different types of natural hair, weave closures, frontals bundles, all of that stuff. For today's video we're going to be using the nylatress by jenna collection, butterfly locks in the shade 613 in 24 inches. But if i like slim - and this is what they look like when they're out of the package and everything like that, so cute so cute. This is the wig that i'm going to be using for today. I'M going to be using one of my four lace: wigs, i haven't, dropped this on my website yet just because my vendor takes like two weeks to make four lace wigs, i know lace filling the shortage girl, so i'm not even going to sell those. Let me know - and i will it's just it just - has a long-ass shipping time and people don't be wanting to deal with that, and i don't have time for that. This is the wig that i'm going to be using for today y'all. It'S literally, like a 10 inch for lace wig. I actually use this wig in my blonde pigtails. Look that i did like a couple months ago featuring janet collection. I use their 613 like bundles. This hair is like platinum, blind. It'S like an icy white tone and the locks are literally like a 613 like a golden 6 13.. So this is a wig and these are the locks. So i have to go ahead and try to tone the hair. I'M gon na try to tone the lights. Y'All, try to turn them hard regularly, toned hair, put them in a bucket dip them and see what it does. Washing, hair and hot water will damage the fiber, so i probably can't use hot water. I don't see anywhere where it says i can't dye them. Nor do i see anywhere where it says i can dye them. We'Re gon na just try it with one with like high water from my sink and see what that does. I feel like it'll work, though what y'all think this is embarrassing anyway, so i have one of the locks right here so now we're just gon na dip it in see what the hot water does. I feel like it'll be okay, but that's just me. This is synthetic hair and i don't know if you can dye synthetic hair. I left a lock in there to see if it will change eventually, but i highly doubt all right child, so i decided to tone them because the one i did yesterday she happens to be tom, so i'm just gon na tone, like five packs of the barley, Hair of the pastry twist hair and i'm gon na, let it sit outside for it to air dry thinking. I want to do like rainbow dress but like if i leave the locks in you know a bucket of water for a couple hours, then it will actually saturate the hair putting some of the locks in three different buckets of water with three different colors. I'M gon na use the adora hot, pink door, sweet mint and the adora cosmic yellow. This is how all the colors look together. I think that'll be a cute little color story, this color story, but i think i like the mint batter. I think that would be a very cute color story, so i'm gon na go ahead and do this and then um, i'm gon na show you all when i'm done and everything i'm just gon na create three different buckets of water and dip the dreads in there. This is the pink bucket. I have like four strands of hair and three in here and three in here, probably gon na keep it in low-key overnight i'm about to go ahead and start working on the actual wig. Now i still have to braid it and part it out, so we're gon na get on with that, because that's probably gon na take me a couple hours. So i did a couple already like a few weeks ago. I'M gon na give you all a more detailed view, though, but first off i have to go: get shout outs to [ __, ] cat food because he's terrorizing me because he's hungry he's trying to be chill right now, but he's literally terrorizing me because he's hungry. I have to go get me some coffee, so i can have the energy to actually make this wig. All right, so don't mind the mess in my kitchen right there, but this is what i have so far in the wig. This is what it's looking like. So far, so these are the plots or plates. However, the [ __ ] pronounce, and i'm not sure, but this is what we have right now, so i'm just going to continue doing the rose. I forgot to get a pack of clear rubber bands. I was right there looking at it too: y'all: okay, okay, okay, okay, so all right, y'all! So now i'm attaching the locks, so i got a couple on there. So this is how it's looking. Let me zoom y'all, i'm trying my best y'all, i'm trying my damn best. These are like the slim set of locks, so it's kind of hard feeding the braid through the lock, because i have to like crochet it okay. This should be a good one to show you all. First, what i'm going to do is take the lock and i'm going to twist it down some to kind of like open it up, because i have to feed the whole lot through this little loop of hair right here. So i'm just going to open it up a little bit and then i'm going to take my crocheting needle and this needle was a little bit wider than this. If you all can see, it was too wide to fit through the actual lock. So i just went ahead and burned it a little bit and then i squeezed it together with some pliers to try to, like you know, make it skinnier. So what i'm gon na do is just take the crochet needle with the open end. So you see how it's open, i'm gon na, make sure it's open. I'M gon na feed it kind of like on a diagonal and then i'm going to take the loop and loop it through the hook close the hook and bring this part through the actual braid and you might have to like loosen up your knot a little bit. So it could fit. Oh okay, it's been finished this whole time now she want to go ahead and not fit now doing a lot for the camera. But now i'm going to take the loop pull the hook all the way down and then attach it then close. It again and then just pull this through the other little loop and then just pour this lock all the way through and then you should have something that looks like this when you attach it. So that's how it looks when it's attached. So now what i'm going to do to hide the braid, so the braid should be underneath to go ahead and like hide the band of the braid. If that makes sense, i'm going to untwist it a little bit and just start fitting. The needle, through the actual lock through like the coils of the lot and then i'm gon na, bring it all the way. Through this i found you have to go a little bit at a time. You cannot feed the whole needle through the whole, lock at one time. It'S just not gon na work like that after i trust, so i'm doing it a little bit at a time. So when i have the first one down, it's like, i did like probably an inch, i'm just gon na make sure the lock hair is covering both the braid and the rest of the lot see. I pushed it up just to make sure that that's covering everything now i'm going to push some of the lock hair up just so i can have enough to go ahead and disguise the braid. This lock in particular, is a little thicker, so i feel like i could just feed this through the whole lot really, but some of these locks are thin as hell y'all, so you won't be able to do that with the whole head, but with this one i Could do it with this, so that's what i'm gon na do so, i'm just gon na feed this through the whole lot like that. Take the end of the braid like that close the latch and then pull it all the way through through the live twist it around. So you can kind of get it in there and then pull the whole braid through hold the braid and pull the lock hair up just to go ahead and camouflage everything. So it should be like this and then i'm just going to go ahead and do this all the way down all right, y'all now that i'm done with the lot. This is how it's looking. You can't really see no braid or anything like that. Now what i'm gon na do is take some hairspray just spray it there. We have it a lot. So now, i'm just going to continue to do this right now. Oh yeah girl. It'S going to be a long, a long, long, long night, okay, so okay, okay, okay, hey y'all, so i just got done with the locks 12 hours later. So the back looks the back of the wig she's cute. I'M gon na go ahead and install her tomorrow. So yeah, i will talk to y'all tomorrow when i'm ready to install her all right. Y'All, don't mind me squinting it's bright as [ __ ] today. I don't know why my eyes are so sensitive today. I can't flip directly into the camera, because it's just bright as [ __ ] got ta, go ahead and install the wig. Now, i'm just gon na use the bonehold liquid gold to install today's wig. I just ran out of my got to be blue hairspray, but i'm just gon na use this and start the wig like normal, so the wig is already parted out with baby hairs, but oh [, __ ]. Why would i do that? I just went ahead and under the damn braid she's, already parted out, with baby hairs and stuff. It shouldn't take me no longer than like 20 minutes 30 minutes just because it's already like a wig, i don't have to like you know, style it or anything like that. Right cap is now on y'all. So now i'm gon na pop some of that same foundation. Color inside of the lace and then i'm gon na start installing here bye. This is now secured she's now on i'm gon na move on. Am i gon na? Do baby hairs right now? No i'm gon na do baby hairs after i do my makeup filming a updated like for a glam tutorial if you're interested in seeing how i do my makeup. Glam tutorial then watch that video i'm going to do my makeup, real, quick and then i'm going to come back to do the baby, hairs and stuff, and then we can end out the face is now done now we're going to go ahead and move on to The baby hairs bring them all down and then i'm going to layer them out with my layering comb and then i'm going to curl them back and then i'm going to take some hairspray to go ahead and mold them. And i might take a little bit of a lot of body as well to mold it, but i'm not sure yet we'll see. So this is my outfit. I just have like a little black tank top and then these uh boxing shorts they're, so cute they're from warrior style. I found them literally on google and they're the cutest shorts in the world, so i'm gon na go ahead and take down the hair because everything's done so, let's see what she's giving oh. This is big. It'S a thick wig she's thick. I definitely rather have too many locks than not enough locks, so you can kind of see the rainbow locks all right y'all. So this is the end of the video.
