How To: Revive Your Human Hair Wig | Wig Transformation

Hey guys welcome back to my channel and welcome back to another wig revamp video. This wig was sent to me by a client and she wants me to give it a whole new look and feel let's get started. So i'm going to be using tresemme, smooth, shampoo, a paddle brush and my paddle brush is a bit wet and i'm brushing through the hair. It makes it a little bit easier to comb through tangled hair, so i'm filling the basin with warm water. Then i'm going to take the tresemme smooth and silk shampoo and i'm going to put some into the water run my hands through it and make sure all the shampoo is dissolved. And then i'm going to let the hair sit in the shampoo and water mixture. For about 20 to 40 minutes, depending on how dirty the hair is, so you can see the water is milky and murky, and you can see like brown from the dirt. So i'm just going to run my fingers through it try to rinse out as much dirt as i can and then the next step is i'm going to shampoo the hair. So i'm going to put some shampoo on the wig and then i'm going to lather it on with my hands, massage it and try to get as much dirt off the wig. As i can don't forget to put some shampoo on your closure, you want to wash off the sweat any excess foundation or powder if you use that and also the glues and gels. So i just took my paddle brush and i'm brushing through the hair, just to get rid of the tangles, shampoo or conditioner will give the hair nice slip. So you won't break your hair. This is an additional tip so because this hair was really dirty, i rinsed it out and i'm going to repeat the shampoo step. This hair has been through a lot and it needs a bit of extra love. I'M going to deep condition this hair and what you see is a mixture of some of my favorite conditioners and i've mixed in some of my serums. I can't really share it's a secret recipe, but i'm going to put that all over the hair and rub it in massage and marinate this hair. So when it comes out, it's going to have body it's going to shine and it's going to have a lot of movement. So i'm going to give the hair a quick brush just to evenly distribute the product and to make sure i don't have any tangles. So i'm going to put the hair in a plastic bag, i'm also adding water, because i am going to quickly blitz it in the microwave for a few minutes. This is after two minutes in the microwave. I will have a whole detailed video on how to deep condition in the microwave. I need to take this hair out of the bag. Please be careful, it is hot. This hair is still a bit warm, but i'm just quickly going to brush through before i rinse it out just to get. You know that extra benefit from the conditioner, but i really like brushing hair out. I do not like tangles, and i don't like hair snapping and tearing i'm quickly, going to rinse this out with lukewarm water. It'S very important not to use hot water. You'Ve just deep conditioned your hair if you use hot water, you'll strip it off all that moisture and nutrients, make sure you rinse out your hair thoroughly. I am brushing it out, so i can get any excess product out of the hair. So i'm going to be using this care serum, i will leave everything in the description box down below i'm just going to rub it into the hair, massage it going to take my brush and brush it through as well for even distribution of the product, and then I'M going to leave my hair to dry in the shower as normal. This is what the hair looks like after drying. I didn't know it had these brown shades to it, but it looks really nice, it's fluffy and it's moving. I'M going to be using this clix hair rescue, serum and a paddle brush, i'm going to put two pumps of the serum into my hand and then i'm going to smother it all over the hair and working it in with my hands. And then i'm going to take my brush and brush it through, then i'm going to take my paddle brush and a hair dryer and i'm just going to straighten the hair out. This is the trick i use to make sure my hair is flat flat and sleek. When i straighten it, then i'm going to be straightening the hair and, as usual, i'm going to use my tony and guys straightener, i'm just going to flip it over. I found that flipping it over makes the hair even more straight and the straightener is more controllable for me. But then that's just me. So basically, that is all i will be doing running this straightener through i'm not really going to show you the entire clip, but it depends on what kind of a straightener you have and how straight you want your hair, but this one heats up to about 235 Degrees pretty hot, so i can run it through once and it's enough. So this is what the hair looks like after blow drying and straightening. It is sleek and it is moving yes, but i'm quickly going to show you how i get my closure to lay flat flat without using a hot comb. So what i do is, i take very small sections of closure hair and i will straighten it bit by bit. That is how i get my closures to lay flat flat without using a hot cone and there you have it. As you can see, the side, i've done is really flat. I'M going to do the other side off camera, so i'm not going to cut the hair. Please excuse the picture. I don't know why it looks so pixelated. I don't know what happened to my camera, but i am just going to go in with these sharers. These are my husband's shares and i'm just going to cut the hair until the length of the client requested. So you need to cut bit by bit cut small bits, otherwise you might cut it too short and you won't be happy. So what i do is, i cut small bits and i keep looking at it stepping away and looking at it and seeing that it's even and that's how i cut hair. This is the length that the client was happy with i cut and cut, and i kept sending her pictures until she approved this length. This hair is happy. This hair is moving, so i'm going to finish it by taking the l'oreal alv extruder ordinary oil. Two pumps of that in my palms rub it together and then i'm going to rub it all over the hair just to give it some sheen and just let down any flyaways [ Applause ], then, to finish it off. I'M going in with this og eggs, kakui oil. This is to fight the fritz and to lay down any other flyaways that might be there just going to spray some and then brush the hair. Just to make it neat again because i run my fingers through it and there you have it. This wig has been revamped. It looks good as new and it's ready to go to the owner.
