In Depth Grwm// How I Install My Lace Front Wigs Ft Megalook Hair

Let'S pop it everybody today, i'm back and, as you guys can see from the title and my hair uh today we're doing a wig video today we're actually going to be doing like an in depth. I explain everything because i know my past couple week. Videos have been a little quick, but we're not doing makeup today, we're just focusing on the hair and how i install my wigs uh and everything like that and i'm not the best. But i'm trying and i'm learning - and you know it takes a while to get good at something so give me time: okay, big! So if you guys are interested to see how i got this look then go ahead and keep on watching all right, so i'm gon na go ahead and start by toning, the wig. So pretty much what i did with this was get a big pot of um hot water, and then i mixed in my purple shampoo. This is just like honestly, one of the cheapest ones that i got from. I think it was [ __, ] walmart, i'm not gon na lie and then i am uh mixing it with the little water and then i'm dipping my wig in it and just rinsing rinsing it all through all thoroughly making sure it's all nice and soaked in. I had actually made a mistake by shampooing it differently, first like pouring the purple shampoo onto the wig and it left like these little streaks. So that's why those are there, but then i did the whole pot thing and the pot thing works better. So that's what i stuck with then i'm blow drying it. It did come out a little bit uneven when it was wet, but once i uh dried it and styled it and everything it looked a lot better. So i'm just blow drying it um. This little wig stand is so helpful. I got it on amazon. I have like a whole little uh thing of all my wig supplies and then i'm straightening it using my remington uh curl burmington straightener, and this is the silk elements: heat protectant and yeah. Then i just plucked it a little bit and then i'm ready to install all right guys. So this is what the wig ended up. Looking like, i plucked it a little bit because not too much because it's already pre-plugged - and this is what it came out like not as yellow as it was before now we're gon na go ahead and install it okay. So this is my first time installing a wig when i already have my makeup on i've. Seen a couple girls on tick, tock install wigs with their makeup already done, so i wanted to go ahead and try it for my hair, i'm just gon na put it in a little bun in the back. My hair is like super short right now, so i don't really need to like. I don't need to braid it or anything, so i'm just pulling it all back and then getting it at the back of my head, putting it in a little tiny ponytail. I literally have like three strands of paper, so i'm really not sure how over this right now now we're gon na get my hair gel and just gel everything back and we're gon na use our blow dryer to just dry it. Okay, now we're getting a stocking cap and we're gon na put this over our heads. This is great. We'Re gon na cut some eye holes first off, so i can see what what the [ __ ] i'm doing so we're about halfway done right now, i'm just spraying it and blow drying it, and i do about two to three layers to make sure that it's Really stuck out okay and how you're gon na know when it's dry is that when you touch it, it shouldn't be wet at all. It should just be hard now we're gon na go ahead and get our cuticle scissors and cut off the band. That'S right here! This is probably cutting off your blood flow circulation right now, so we're going to want to go ahead and cut that off and i wiped off all my makeup. But now we're going to go ahead and cut off the excess wing cap, so we're starting in the back here. A lot of people always ask what i do with like the extra little the extra little cap in the back and pretty much all i do is like bobby pin it into the back of uh. My head. A lot of people also always ask like how long you can keep them in, for i typically don't keep it on for like more than a day so yeah, i don't really do the extras with it. Okay and i'm not doing the full cut right now. Just enough to let me like breathe so now we're gon na go ahead and get the body pins and then pin the cap in the back and then we're gon na get the ears in a little bit. So now i'm going to bring you guys a little bit closer and, as i said, for the got to be spray, i pretty much do like two to three little uh layers and before adding another layer. You want to make sure that the layer before is dry and now we're going to go ahead and cut the stocking cap, as close as you can to your natural hairline. So just follow the little outline of your hairs here and cut them with your cuticle scissors. Cuticle scissors for me are so much better to use because you could get a lot closer and how i cut this. Is i pretty much just pull a little bit at a time you want to go slow and then just cut it in small little sections. Since you already um sprayed your hair down you're, not really like, since you already sprayed your hair down uh, it shouldn't be coming up. You want to make sure that you don't cut too much, but if you do, you can go in and try to glue it back down like spot, treat the little um the little lifted parts. Okay, now we're going into the ear. So i pretty much just cut the little hole out and i just pop out my ear. You want to make sure that you do not cut the hair by your ear. Uh-Oh see like this is what i'm talking about. So if you accidentally cut too much like so just get a little spray hold it down now that you're, as close as you can at this point, i just like to pop the wig on very like roughly to see what it would look like and then see Like what work i need to do, and what i like about this one is that it has a band inserted, so it is not coming off. This wig fits so perfect, so i'm so excited so so excited i'm just gon na gel it down a little bit. So that the hairs aren't as crazy okay, so i just put the front pieces of the hair back and now i'm going to cut the lace a tiny bit just because it is a little long and i want to be able to see the wig a little Bit better, i cut like less than half of it off just so i could see my face and now i'm seeing what part of the ear i'm gon na cut off. So how you can tell this is once you grab it on you'll, see like what part is covering your ear and then you just want to cut it out, because otherwise you can have a little covered ear. Okay, now we're gon na. Let that sit there. Now i'm getting my foundation and we're gon na get this and pop this all over my brown hair here, because my brow hair is showing through so much so. I especially want to put it thicker along the middle section, because that's where my hair part is going to be. I use like a little stipple motion just to get it into all of the stocking cap. Now i'm gon na get a little sponge and sponge it out to blend it a bit. Now that this looks pretty close to my skin color um we're gon na pop the wig back on. As you can see, i cut my little ear holes out already, and i kind of did cut them a little bit too much, but but we will figure it out so now that we're pretty much set on where this is gon na go, i'm pretty happy with. Where it's at right now, so i'm going to get all the hair in the front and just kind of pull it back into a half but half down not too much because then the lace will go. But i just like to get this out of the way. While i'm laying the wig this is the ghost bond wig glue, you can get this on amazon and we're going to start off by gluing down the center. So normally it's supposed to come out in like little drops, but mine is broken right now, so we're just spreading it along i'm getting it along the center first. Now that we have the center we're going to blow dry it on cool okay, now that it's all glued on we're gon na go ahead and cut the extra lace off again. I do this in like little sections so that it's not all cut off at once and just in case, if i do [ __ ] up, which is very likely now we're gon na go ahead and wrap it so that it stays before we do the little Baby hairs and honestly, i may not even do baby hairs just because of how plucked this wig already is, so we're gon na go ahead and pull this up, clip it and then wrap it up. I'M just gon na let this sit for around like 10 to 15 minutes. Okay, i'm back uh! Normally i would wait 10 minutes, but today i'm like so anxious and excited. So it's been five minutes and we're gon na see what it looks like. I swear to. God, if it looks bad i'm pointing to somebody, it actually looks pretty cute, it looks a little cute. We did pretty good on this uh. Now i'm gon na go ahead and cut the last piece of the lace off. This is like the last little section that i cut. I just like to have a little sense of security just in case, if it does uh get [ __ ] up like i still had the lace so at least like i didn't [ __ ] up completely. Now we're gon na go ahead and cut this and pretty much how i like to cut the last piece. Is i get as close to the hairline as i can yeah? I learned recently that not every wig needs to have baby hairs, like i feel like it. Just doesn't really look good on my face and if any part is like lifting here, i'm just gon na get some spray push it down all right, you guys, so that was pretty much it for my video, my in-depth wig tutorial.
