Trendy Top Knot Bun Hairstyle For Natural Hair| Bun With Bangs

Hi guys it's kristen and welcome back to my channel in today's video, i'm gon na, be showing you guys how i was able to achieve this super cute bun tutorial with these um side bangs. This um hairstyle has been trending for a while and i'm absolutely in love with it, because it's just so like classy and so simple and so cute as it's my type. It'S my type guys. This is my type of hairstyle um. I really enjoyed doing this hairstyle and i just wanted to give you guys, like my take on how to do the hairstyle, just in case you're interested um yeah guys. So, as you can see, i'm just parting, my hair into smaller sections. Just to make it a little more manageable because i will be blow drying my hair, so that it can just be us more manageable and easier to manipulate for this hairstyle, because you know curly, hair just isn't very like well. My type isn't like suitable for this style. I go in with my cantu daily moisturizer guys. This thing is amazing: it's super cheap um. I really like how it makes my hair feel soft and moisturized whenever i use it and i'm going in with my castor oil as well, because that is my favorite product in the entire world. My hair is super thick because of this product and because of jeans, but we're just going to blame it on the product. For this reason well, for this video at least as you can see, i am detangling my hair, because i'm always detangling guys. You have to detangle your hair because we don't have straight hair. We have a curly natural hair. We have to detangle it so that we can get rid of all the dead hair and that we can style our hair properly so guys, since we are going to be using heat on our hair, we have to use a thermal shield. This is the one i use i've been using it for a while, and i do think it really does work. Well, it's also super inexpensive. Please guys, please! If you're going to blow dry your hair, please use a heat protectant, because we don't want to damage your hair guys come on, protect your hair. Ladies protect your hair, like you protect your heart, so yeah every time i detangle a section, i go ahead and twist it up and put it away, because i'm gon na go off screen and blow dry. My hair guys, because that's gon na just be too much for me to put it in the video and here is my blow-dried hair. It'S super long super thick. I can't believe my hair grew this fast guys - oh my god, so i'm gon na go ahead and part all the sections that i'm gon na be selling my hair in and just put it away using a rubber band like this one right here so yeah. To put it away um, as you can see, i'm just like twisting it and then i'm going to use a rubber band to just like put it in a bantu knot and then i'm going to um brush my hair up into a super high ponytail guys. I'M just gon na be brushing for the next couple minutes. I think just brushing brushing brushing and then you'll see where i go in with some eco styler gel just to like heat the hair in place to smooth it down. Make sure that i don't have any flyaways and everything looks nice and smooth yeah there's the eco styler gel guys. I love eco salad, gel yeah, so i just smoothed out my hair, making sure everything's, nice and sleek because we love a sleek ponytail girls. Yes guys. I can't help but notice how dark my underarms look um. So i get my underarms waxed, it's just to say um. I just want to clarify it. I get my underarms wax and i'm thinking, maybe the wax kind of does that or either the new deodorant that i'm using. I don't know, but i don't like how it looks if you have any suggestions to fix it, please let me know but yeah i went in with some um edge control to sneak down my edges because y'all my eyes just got ta be laid. I don't know about you guys, but i love me: some laid edges, honey guys so yeah you're gon na see me in the next few clips, just like smoothing down my edges and styling them to my liking. Um. If you don't really like nice slick edges, you can skip this, but for me it's necessary honestly. I need my edges slicked down honey, all right guys. So after smoothing down my edges, i just go ahead and put it in a super high ponytail like this. In the video you guys want to make sure that the ponytail is high because we're going to be doing a top knot button - and here i am looking silly to my crazy little dance yeah. So i'm just gon na go over the ponytail and just use this rat tail comb and make sure that everything is nice and smooth. I don't want any lumps. I want it to look like arrogant in my hair. Okay, all right so yeah i'm going ahead and also detangling the ponytail, because we want that nice and smooth for our bun. So i want to make sure that all the knots are detangled and i'm going to go ahead and split the ponytail in two and do a nice loose twist and then, with that twist, as you can see, i'm gon na wrap it around into a bun and Then i'm just gon na put a little um black rubber band over it and voila. That is our bun. I like to go ahead and just like secure it up some more with some bobby pins um you really don't have to. But for me i like to be super secure. I love security. I'M sorry about that, but i just love security and that's why i did that and then i'm just going to go in and do a little sleepy doop with my baby hairs, make them a little more slick than before because, as i said, i'll just slip, my Baby hairs guys, that's just my preference, do as you please so okay. So this is the game changer of the tutorial right here. You want to go ahead and grab your flat iron because we're going to be curling our bangs guys if you watch the jobs, video um, that city girls did karisha had this hairstyle and i didn't realize until like after i did this video someone pointed it out To me and y'all like it, looks just like this - oh my god, but her curls were on point, so we're gon na try and make sure that our curls are on point two. I'M not really the best that curl in my hair. But i did do this. A couple times - and i think it came out pretty good guys, so what i'm doing is just like just like twirling the flat iron um yeah, so you just want to twirl it and go down as you twirl. I guess i hope that makes sense. It'S kind of complicated at first but um, the more you do it, the more the better it comes out. I guess i don't know, but yeah this side came out perfectly at first. The other side gave me a little bit of trouble, but um. I did it around like five times before. I could get it correct, but yeah. I did end up getting it right. So, as you can see, i'm just gon na go ahead and repeat that step on the next side, all right guys. So after you curl your bangs, you want to go ahead and just lay down the front with some edge control. This will um help to get everything to keep in place, so you don't really have any flyaways and y'all. Oh, my god. I am just loving how this hairstyle turned out. It was so easy, oh my god, so easy. So quick. I look like a baddie on a budget and that's what i'm always going for guys yeah, so yeah, i'm gon na stop talking right now and just let you guys see how my hairstyle came out. It'S like it's like a fix me up, but like don't take forever or like a low budget like hot girl hairstyle, i guess i don't know i've seen this um hairstyle trending since um. I think it was one of the kardashians um. The model kendall, kendall, kennel jenner, um and, i think, also bella hadid - they wear this hairstyle. Very often i mean technically, i'm used to wearing a hair cellular in high school. I feel like we should wear this hairstyle in high school in jamaica, but maybe not as refined, i'm maybe not with the curls but i've. Definitely i think i've done this back in the day, but um it's trending now, and i'm going to give you guys. My take on this hairstyle and i love it like yo, i look like a baddie brennan agrees. Yeah guys, i love the hairstyle. Give you guys a side. Look a side view my bad i'm running so late.
