Hey everyone welcome back to my channel, i hope you're all doing well in today's video. This has been honestly my most requested video, i'm finally bringing you my hair tutorial. I'Ve been putting it off for so long because i keep thinking i need to sit down and film about 10 different hairstyles, but i just thought you know what people only want to see how i curl my hair. So i'm just going to sit down and curl. My hair and go through what i use to do my hair um, like tools, products techniques. So yes, i washed my hair yesterday and i had it curled yesterday, although it doesn't look like it because obviously the weather was so bad yesterday, so my curls didn't hold and i was at work and i had it tied up anyway. So i wasn't really that bothered also just apologize and if there's any weird camera angles or if i'm not looking, i've got a mirror right there, which obviously i've got to look into my hair, so yeah. The first thing i will do is talk about the products that i use on my hair. For those of you that don't know i work at sainsburys um and i'm i'm a beauty advisor and part of our premium hair care range. We have husk. I'Ve been using for ages, the argan oil and the coconut oil, so many brands do these, but i just love this brand. I think they work so well, but basically i do two pumps of each. This is where my hair is wet and it's been washed and i towel dry. It i'll do two pumps of argan oil, two pumps of coconut oil. I do two pumps of each because i have 22 inch tape extensions. So i have a lot of hair and it's long so that's why i do two pumps. If you've just got like you know, regular hair, you don't have extensions um, then just do one pump of each and i do it through the ends. I don't go near. My roots, because, obviously it will make it greasy and then the same brand. The hask i've been using the keratin protein five in one leave-in spray. This has changed. My hair, like this, is incredible, so it this one's for smoothing and protecting the hair, so the benefits i'll just quickly read them. Smooths and controls frizz provides thermal protection, hydrates and softens detangles to prevent breakage and boosts shine since using this. So i spray on my wet hair, but also after i've dried my hair, styled, my hair. I will spray it on then as well. My hair has been so soft, so like shiny and smooth, which is exactly what it's for, but it genuinely has worked. Honestly, it's been so soft which for blonde bleached hair that i you know, do apply heat to it's, it's just incredible and then the other two things that i use are my heat protection. So i always use the neil and wolf it's not. The cheapest might be like 20 pounds a bottle, but it's so worth it. So this is the neon wolf guard. I think i've put these in another video, but they're just incredible. So this one's quite a good mist. It smells so nice as well like just smells so expensive and professional. It makes your hair smell incredible, so this is just the heat protection one, so it locks in moisture and protects against heat, and then this one is the miracle spray. So this is a rapid blow-dry mist, so anti-frizz thermal protection, blow-dry accelerator with lightweight conditioners um, so you just shape this one. Well, i shake all of my sprays, always shake before you use again. It'S like hair perfume, but it's protecting your hair from heat. You need to be using heat protection, i never used to use it and since using it, i have seen a huge difference, even when you just blow dry in your hair like that can be the worst thing for your hair is blow dry in it. I think some people think that they only need to use heat protection when they're, straightening or curling their hair or using like a tool like that, but blow drying. Your hair can really really damage it, so they're all the products that i use. I will link everything down below. I always use this hairspray, it's the best thing, um yeah i've used this for years and years, and it is literally blasting freeze spray. It does freeze your hair, it's incredible best thing ever i'm just going to get on with the actual hair tutorial. So, of course i have curtain bangs, except they are very grown out at the minute. They do need a good cut. I am getting them cut again. I'M not letting them grow out, because i love my curtain bangs so much before i get into this. This is not going to be very. This is not going to be very glam when i'm doing my hair, i do look kind of crazy. Also, you will see my extensions like this when i'm doing my hair with me doing my instagram content. I'Ve just found since having curtain bangs i've been loving. My pictures so much more - i don't know like my face - just looks better with them, so i always style my curtain bangs when they're wet, just because that's easiest um, but when, like now because my hair's already been washed and my curtain bangs are dried, i will Go in with this spray, give it a shake and just spray it a few times it doesn't have to be absolutely saturated. It just needs to be slightly damp again. If i used too much of that, if i did use too much of that, it would be, it would leave my hair looking greasy. But i already i need the heat protection on it, so i might as well use that to dampen my hair as well, so to do my curtain bangs, i use a round brush and my hair dryer. So i don't actually always do my curtain bangs first, but a lot of the time. I will do them before curling my hair and then use um just like one of the rollers um just so that it sets better and it doesn't actually last longer. But i don't always do it. Please do excuse the hair as well in the brush. I will show you my technique now and then i will do it because i'm going to have to put it on the timelapse, because obviously it's going to be very loud to do my curtain bangs take the brush under like that, and i will blow dry it And as i'm blow drying, i will roll the brush back and up and then i will keep going. I will keep doing that as i get to the end, but when my hair is dry like this, it's a lot harder to roll the brush. But i will keep doing that and then i'll start at the root again and keep going and just keep going up. Like that, but obviously as i'm blue drying, sometimes it will go this way as well um. If i do that it will give more volume at the root. I will do that. I also have done that and left it in curlers. That way it does work, but i just prefer the other way so i'll show you that now, but i will put you on a time lapse, as i am doing it. It'S on full heat, but i'll put it on the first thing. So it's not as strong. Just because i find it easier to control when it's when the um hair dryer is not blasting as hard. So i just brush that up and while it's still hot take your bowl up, put it in the end, make sure the ends are just tucked under and then keep rolling making sure the hair is on still on the roller like. So then i have these clips from primark they're like one pound for six, just making sure that's all in there. These fit perfectly around the rollers that i have it's not very stable, but it's fine um, the rollers that i have are from sainsbury's. I think they're the large barrel ones. I get jaw length curtain bangs. I might go a little bit shorter next time, i'm not too sure, but i just i love them. I, when i first got curtin banks, i was lost and i was like i actually do not have a clue what to do. Um. I forgot to show you the technique that i do when i'm using my straighteners when i have straight hair, so i style them differently when i have straight hair, so i use the ghd um the wide. I don't know. I'Ve had this for years, so i'll just straighten all my hair and then i never. If i'm having straight hair and i'm styling my curtain bangs it's never in a roller. I pull the curtain back up and just twist a little bit as i get to the end pretend this is my curtain. Bang. This is curtain. Bang i pull it. This is so awkward. I just pull the curtain bank up and then flick it around like that and when it's straight it just gives that nice flickiness. I never do it like this, because this gives a lot of volume, but when my hair is straight, it's quite flat and sleek. So i do style them differently, so i use the molly mate. Beauty works, curl kit. This is incredible before this, and before my extensions i had the cloud 9 curling wand, which is really really good, except it's literally like a lot smaller. I'M not going to touch it because it is on it's a lot smaller and, with my longer extensions, a longer barrel is necessary to be honest, to fit all of the hair on, even with short hair. You can still use this, oh so i put on the first heat setting that it comes on, which is 180 degrees. I don't even think that focused um, but you can change it up and down. So when i curl my hair, i never section my hair, even with my extensions um, and i never pin it so you're, probably fully aware that the molly made beauty works. Curl kit comes with these clips. It comes with like 10 or 12 of them, which is more than enough, and they are fantastic, but i've just found that i prefer my hair better when i don't pin it so always. Curl away from your face. Well hold this down. Sorry for the wire! That'S going to be really annoying, i hold it down and i just grabbed sections of hair, so i'll grab section two on the top and sections from the bottom um, but i never section it off, rather than just grabbing like say this whole piece of hair, where This hair from the bottom and the top keep it separate, um and yeah. I never really count how many seconds either i kind of i just know when it's done now. I always use a tangle teaser as well and brush out the ends first, because, if you're brushing from up here number one, if you have extensions, it's going to pull on the extensions and also you're just bringing your knots further down, you need to get rid of Your knots at the bottom first and then work it down so with the curl cut as well. You do again excuse the hair in the brush. You get the soft bristle paddle brush. This is incredible. So with this one, you can, if you have extensions you can brush from the top, because the bristles are soft, you're not pulling it doesn't get caught in the extension, and this is perfect as well for tying your hair up and smoothing especially again, if you have Extensions because you can smooth over the extensions without pulling it and ruining your extensions but yeah, so i just grab a section like so hold the curler down, wrap it around. I also keep the hair flat like this, so if the hair's starting to get twisted or anything like that, make sure it's flat and wrap it around like that and then i'll just rest. That on my hand, while i'm holding the hair and leave it for a few seconds, so sorry for this wire, i will move it to the other side in a bit just like so, and then i i hold this on my hand there. So i can just drop the curl like that and move that away. Don'T let go of the curl hold it for a few seconds to cool and set. This makes your curls last a lot longer. It'S not going to drop. It is the same as pinning it. So if i was to pin it, i would do this i'll show you how to pin you just roll it up like that after you've caught it and then with the clip you just hold that there like so and then you will keep going and you can Add more than one um curl to the clip. This can be quite time consuming to do that um, but that's a good technique if you're doing your hair before your makeup and you see how curled that is, if you like to do your hair before doing your makeup, that's a good technique and leave it all. Pinned up then, do your makeup and then take it out. I will put the rest of it on the time-lapse. By the way, i won't show you every single curl so again keeping the hair flat remember to curl away from your face. You don't want it curling in you, want it curling out that bottom bit of the curler that doesn't get hot, so you can rest it on your hand. It just makes it easier to hold and let go of the curl like. So i hope i'm explaining this. Well as well, i'm kind of just too into it. I keep forgetting that i am actually recording and i can't speak. Obviously, this side is slightly different because i mean i'm left-handed. So it's my left side, but if you're right-handed it'll be the same, hold this down and again make sure it's going away from your face like that, rather than inwards like that, because that just isn't the best look. Also, when i get to the back about halfway i'll, do that and then, when i get halfway to the back, i will do it the opposite way: oh baby bye, so i'm just holding my last curl for a little bit. That honestly took me like less than five minutes to do it's so quick because i've done it so many times. I know which pieces of hair to grab, but also remember like so that's it all curled. Also, there are some days when i curl my hair and it's not the way i want it to look. It looks different every single time. I curl it. So don't be disheartened if one day it doesn't look great or if the curls don't hold as well like. We all have those days, it just depends on like the weather and the humidity. I will leave it to cool. I won't brush it out until it is like properly cool um, but yeah. That'S basically the technique that i use. I'Ve seen people say that the molly mae curler isn't great or their curls haven't held very well. It depends on your hair. My hair does hold quite well anyway. The curls doesn't matter what color i use the curls hold very very well. If you are one of those people that you know has quite naturally straight hair, and it doesn't hold very well, then possibly use the pinning technique that i showed you and then you can just you know, play with it a little bit, don't be afraid of it Drop in because that is what you want, you obviously don't want these tight ringlet curls. I will brush it out with the molly may brush and you will see it slowly coming to life, but you can see, as i'm brushing it out, that it's just turning into loose waves and the other side as you brush in, if you slightly curl it around. But also a lot of the time i will brush it out and then the curls will wrap around each other that that's going to happen like that's kind of inevitable. To be honest, but i carry my brush around with me everywhere i go so i can brush it out. If i'm going out taking pictures and getting my content, i will take this brush. So again i can brush it out before my pictures and yeah the more you brush it, the more it is going to pull pull out the curls, but that's just a little brush. Let me just give it another one and that's how my curls are looking now, which i love and then i'll give it a spray just lifting bits up and if they are wrapping around unwrap them again or brush through it again but yeah. That'S basically how i do my curls and then i can take out the curtain bangs. Hopefully these look okay. Sometimes these can be a bit hit or miss as well um. So i'll just do this. They do flick out in some weird ways. Sometimes it's trust the process and then i'll just run my fingers through them and kind of just position them how i want them. They'Ve actually gone quite well today, which i'm happy about and yeah and then i'll just spray. Those and choke myself that boys and girls - that is how i do my hair's, it's nice and simple. It genuinely takes me like i'll. Give myself like 20 minutes to do my hair, maybe 15 just want to show you this um. This is the batiste dry shampoo volume, one. I use regular um batiste, but this one's great for what it says on the can and give him volume just at the roots. I just spray all of the roots and then rub it in. I honestly should have done that before hairspray. As you can see, she have a little volume um just brush that through again but yeah. That guys is my hair tutorial. I hope it's helped. Somebody else said how do i keep my hair in such good condition? I wash my hair, i would say every three days now it does get greasy like the day i wash it, but dry shampoo is my best friend um, but again because i have sensitive scalp after a few days of using dry shampoo, my scalp gets very, very Itchy and it's just not pleasant to be itching, your scalp and it does some damage, so i would say, like i don't wash it every single day, which also means less heat, because i'm not drying every single day. Again, like i don't style. My hair, like this. Every day, if i'm at work, my hair, i have to wear my hair up anyway, so i'll just tie it up. Scrunchies are great for when you tie your hair up, um wearing it up when you go to bed like in a plait or something using hair products like i, i don't understand people that can just wash their hair dry the hair and not put any oils on It no heat protection like just start using it because you'll see the difference like oils are great as well, especially if you have blonde hair, because if you're adding bleach to it, it's drying it out, you need to be adding. You need to be looking after it. So yeah but yeah. I really hope you love this tutorial. Thank you all so much for watching.
