Marker marker curling iron, test., ( boxes, thud, ), Rolling., Hey everyone, Kayley, your friendly neighborhood hairstylist here and today we're reviewing some drug store, hair tools by Kristin Ess.. If you guys follow me, you probably know I am a Kristin Ess fan, girl. She's done some amazing celebrities like Lauren Conrad, Lucy, Hale, Jenna, Dewan. She's, given the internet, some of its favorite hairstyle images, and she has an amazing line at Target. Whale now. She has hot tools and I'm so excited about it, because you guys have been asking for hot tool, reviews from the drugstore and comment below if you want me to review even more after this video, but I thought today, we'd focus on this line. ,'Cause it's brand new and it's almost Christmas gift time. So, let's see what it's like., But before we jump into it, I actually have a very exciting launch coming out soon too ( dramatic, fanfare ). I'M super duper stoked about it.. It has nothing to do with hot tools, so I don't mind mentioning it in this video.. I cannot give you the full announcement. Yet., I'm gon na tell you guys on Saturday., But just FYI, there's a hint in this video.. So if you find it, let me know what you think: it is and comment below.. Okay. That being said, let's talk about hot tools., ( electronic dance, music ). When I originally filmed this video, I did it over several days and I tried different tools on each day.. I edited that video together and it was 30 minutes long.. So basically, I produced a short film about Kristin Ess, hair, tools., (, Kayley, laughs, ). What I decided to do, in light of that is basically give you guys the details here, but we'll cut into some of those experiences. So I can show you what it was like the first time using the tools and my first impressions and stuff like that.. So, first, let's talk about what all the tools have in common.: They have beautiful packaging and then on the inside. You have key information about the product that you're using.. Each one has recommended heat levels depending on your hair type, which is awesome and then any additional. Little info, you need to know about the tools.. Also in every box you get a Kristin Ess comb which has gold, foiled, Kristin, Ess and a kind of pink Lucite color.. It'S gorgeous. I love it., I'm keeping all of my combs from all of the hair tools that I bought. Don't tell me. I can't. For the tools themselves everywhere. You see this white is kind of like a soft touch, almost rubbery packaging, but, unlike soft touch, rubber packaging and makeup, this doesn't get dirty.. I'Ve used this particular iron so many times, and it hasn't gotten dirty at all. So that's a great sign.. It'S also very satisfying to hold and gives you a little better grip and, of course, everything has gold, detailing. It'll, say Kristin Ess on it., As for the plates, they're all titanium with negative ions, so it helps to conduct heat very quickly and efficiently into your hair. While sealing in moisture and shine and you'll actually see that I compare this side-by-side with another iron in this video and you can actually see how much shinier the result is from this place versus another one which I thought was super cool.. Oh - and this is key., All of the tools have a 30-minute automatic shutoff.. So if you forget to turn it off, it turns off for you. And the entire collection retails between 50 and 100 dollars, depending on the tool which puts it at the high end of low range pricing for hot tools. Because a lot of stuff mid range is 100-plus and then high range is 200-plus.. So that's the common denominator in all the tools.. Let'S get to the individual tools, shall we ( electronic dance, music ). So, on my first day I tested the one-inch iron and the 1.25 inch iron.. I did one on one side of my head and one on the other, so you could directly see which was which., So I'm just gon na do a standard curl.. I'M not gon na. Do anything! Fancy right, now., We're just gon na beauty school it out over! Here and just see how the curls do. All right, that came off quite nicely., It warmed up very quickly, no problems., I'm noticing that the clip holds the hair really well, not too firmly. But when I do this, I don't have to worry about the hair. Just slipping and sliding right through it., It's doing its thing. This seems fairly close to what I would normally get from a one-inch curling, iron. (, electronic dance, music ), Those curls look great.. Let'S try the 1.25 on this side., I'm not noticing any key differences with this one than the smaller size iron other than the size.. That'S pretty much it.. I was overall really pleased with both irons.. I found that they gave me very similar results to what I experience from a much higher end iron, which is both a really good thing and kind of a shocking thing. ,'Cause, it's so much less expensive.. A few days later, it occurred to me that maybe I shouldn't be comparing these irons to super-duper expensive ones.. Maybe I should be comparing them to ones that are closer in price point, but lower.. So I picked up an $ 18 and a $ 28 curling iron to test them against these Kristin Ess tools.. I tried the cheapest iron first.. It did not go well.. This is very cheap plastic.. This is children's toy plastic., Oh wow, that grips okay.. It'S already hard to get this section of hair through it, and this is a shorter section of hair.. I keep accidentally changing the heat.. Ah, I changed it again. I changed the heat again gosh, darn it.. This iron also has a V short cord. That is currently messing with me.. Oh, my gosh. Lord have mercy. Why am I The cord is so short.? To be honest, I wouldn't buy that iron for $ 18.. I wouldn't buy it for three dollars.. I did not like it., It's not worth it.. It'S genuinely not worth it., Then we were onto the $ 28 iron, which honestly performed much better. Okey dokey. Now this one has an eight-foot cord. So at least the cord is better. Still feels like child's toy plastic.. Okay, that's also very grippy.. My brain kind of went on autopilot for the last couple curls, which is good.. I wasn't able to go on autopilot with the other curling irons.. It was kind of difficult to work, with., This one's really no problem to work with and the curls are pretty.. After seeing that it was performing okay, I thought you know what, let's test it side-by-side against the Kristin Ess iron, and I found that, while they both gave a similar curl shape, the Kristin Ess one was significantly smoother and more ribbon-y looking than the one that was Done by the cheaper tool. That one had frizz at the edges., It was a little bit more textured, even though it had just come off the iron and hadn't been touched, and that one was only about $ 20 less.. So I feel like I really did my due diligence.. I tried my expensive tools. I tried the inexpensive tools and I felt like the Kristin Ess. Irons really did, at the end of the day, hold up to the expensive tools and they were definitely significantly better than the inexpensive ones.. My overall thoughts since then have continued to be positive.. I'Ve really enjoyed the results from this iron, and I just think this is one of the prettiest hot tools I have seen in life and that honestly goes a whole long way, ,'cause if you're gon na use it on a regular basis, you're gon na look at It. You're gon na handle it like. Why not have it be pretty? Why not have it add something to your life, rather than just be like a thing that you own? You know At least to me: that's very meaningful., So that's it for day one. Now onto day, two., (, upbeat, acoustic, music, ) For day two, I decided to try the weird stuff, which were the pivoting iron and the root taming texture tool.. Now the root taming tool - this came out of nowhere for me.. Essentially, it's got a heating source right here and then on either side. It has this kind of comb and it effectively ends up being like a hair, straightening comb more or less.. The cool thing about it is that you can get into the root. Like you can press the iron against your head and really press your hair straight.. So if you have wavy kinky, curly hair that likes to go like this or you have baby hairs that are always kind of doing their own thing, this will get them into shape and you can just and they're better.. It'S insane. Tried it on one of my friends.. It worked should have filmed it., But I primarily love this for cowlicks, and that is what I demonstrated it on on day, two.. The reason that I always part my hair this way is because I have a cowlick right here and it does give me volume, so I'm not mad at it, but whenever I flip my hair over the other way, I just feel like it lays so weird ,'cause. It still has this bumpy bit right here and I always have a hard time making it work, and I think I'm also just not used to seeing myself that way., I'm like who is she, I don't know.. So what I'm gon na do is I'm just gon na comb, my hair over using this tool and as I do that it's gon na be pressing everything down and kind of smoothing out the craziness.. The cool thing is that, as you press it against your head, you feel heat, but it's just kind of warm. Like a nice, warm blanket., I feel like we all, would have loved this back in the day when we were styling our emo side bangs., The cowlick-y area, that's normally a problem is no longer a problem, and it's a lot easier to me than doing it with The flatiron, because you can really get in there and get all the way to the root.. The other cool thing that you can do is just like brush your hair back over your crown area. So there's no awkward, you know cowlicks or breaks that make you look a little bald in the back. And this is so easy. You just brush the tool through it and it tames everything.. So obviously you can use it on textured roots, but you can also use it to fight cowlicks, which is great.. I'Ve always played around with using it on those lines that you have after you left a ponytail down. You just tap over those they're gone., It's magic. Basically, now every time I go to style my hair, I turn this on and I go over the back of my head a few times and then I use it over the wavy areas over my ears just to calm them down, so they're not doing anything crazy.. It'S the craziest little tool. I never knew I needed.. I also tried the pivoting curling wand and found that that was really great as well.. It can be a normal wand or one of those little bendy ones. Kristin effing Ess I am deceased.. Now I wanted to see, can you you can So I'm touching just the cool tip and the handle and you can still maneuver it., So you could change it while the iron is on. That Kristin ( Kayley groans ) All right, so I'm gon na turn this On now., I guess let's just go ahead and rotate it and see what a rotated curling iron is. Like.. Oh wow, that's actually really nice ,'cause! I don't have to have my elbow all the way up. Here. Okay. Really should have sectioned. My hair. Got a little bit ambitious and a little bit excited. Okay, but I am also feeling like this little area, looks a little crazy. Heyo, My new best friend.. Okay. Now it's time to play, hunt for the straight pieces.. My biggest takeaway was that it's so much more comfortable to use'cause. You don't have to hold up your arms as much., So it keeps your arms from getting as tired, which is always a plus, but I think it's nice that you can switch between having it straight and having it bent so that one actually ended up going. In my everyday hairstyling drawer, because I just see myself reaching for it a lot. At the end of day, two I was happy with both would definitely recommend both if you're looking for either a curling wand or a magic, taming, tool. ( electronic dance, music ). Today I am finally getting to the hairdryer.. I am so very excited about this.. When I opened the hairdryer. I was surprised not by the hairdryer but by the diffuser., All right. So, let's see. - Oh, my goodness, that is a diffuser Hello. Kristin Ess is not leaving the curly haired girls out in the cold. With this diffuser. This is beautiful.. Yes, girl., Okay, also hi, I'm wearing my shower turban. Still.! Isn'T it great Anytime? You guys see me use one of these in my videos, you ask where I get mine., I get them from two places: either AQUIS. They're, very expensive. And the second one that I love is Kitsch and it's less expensive and I, like it better. They have prettier Colors and the microfiber is a lot more lux feeling., So those are my recommendations., So you have cool warm and hot for your heat settings. Great.. You have a cool shot button. If you have heated up the hair and gotten it into a shape and you wan na cool it to set it in the shape. Cool shot button., You have low and high air speed, Wind, Wind tunnel settings, Airflow low and high airflow., And then this is the Cool technology thing of the hairdryer is that it has this ion button., So you can turn the ions on or off and essentially when you have, I think it's negative ions represented in the air. It helps to add shine and smoothness to your hair., So you can turn that on for shine and smoothness, or leave it off for a more open, roughed-up cuticle, which is especially good. If you want a lot of volume in the hair, if you're doing something super big or if you have that, like perfect, silky, healthy hair - and you have a hard time doing anything with it going without the ions would help to kind of rough up. The cuticle. A little bit so styling would be easier.. I want to try to compare the ion results.. I don't know if I'll be able to, but I'm gon na do my best., I'm gon na do this side without the ions and then this side with.. I think that will work. And you guys know I love my Kitsch - rolls gold clips, but today I'm using this claw clip which is great.. I often use it under my shower cap and it's also cute to style when you're running out the door as well.. I'Ve done that a few times., My hair, ended up drying in about six minutes, doing it one-half and one-half, which was a really great speed for me and at the end I compared the two results. I can feel such a difference.. I don't know if it's visible, but this side feels like actual silk.. This side is just a little fluffier and like hairier than the other, whereas this one definitely is silkier and I think there is definitely more shine. Oh yeah than over here. I mean there's still shine but see that matte coating on top of it kind of It's kind of cool. To get to compare that, because I always read that ionic technology is a thing, but getting to see it. Work is pretty cool. That was about five or six minutes to dry, my hair, which is really good, because my $ 250 dryer dries it in about the same time, and my Dyson dryer actually takes closer to eight to 10 minutes so.. You know what I'm a T3 stan., I'm gon na stand behind them'til the end of time, but this is comparable for real. Holy cannolis. I don't even know what to do with that information.. So, overall, if you can't tell I really liked the hairdryer. And then we're onto the hair straightener, which is a three-in-one straightener, that straightens waves and curls, which pretty much all straighteners can do. But this one has beveled edges and floating plates to really help in that regard.. So I ran it through my hair just to see found that it went so smoothly through my hair and then we got into the waves.. Kristin has a video on this on her IGTV, so I would recommend watching that, but I'm basically gon na do what she did.. I feel like that went a lot better with this curling iron than it did when I tried it with my much more expensive one. In my Khloe Kardashian video., Okay, Kristin Ess, I see you.. I always just thought I was really bad at waving. My hair, but maybe I was just using the wrong tools. ( electronic dance, music ) All right, so that is I actually like this. Wait. Do I like flat-ironed waves now What And now ( Kayley sighs, ) God we curl. Pray for me and depending on how God works in space and time, maybe it will help. It's going through really nicely and easily just gliding right, along.! Oh, hey, girl.! All right! Well, that wasn't bad at all. And I went through really slowly'cause. I wasn't sure how well my hair was gon na curl.. Okay, this is definitely the easiest. Flatiron curl I've been able to do.. If you ever get way too tight with your flatiron curls, you can just tap it out. Yeah And then I'm gon na loosen up the ends on this ,'cause they're a lot. - And I have this set on 280 right now. So that's actually a really healthy temperature for my hair as well, and it's working very effectively. ( straightener claps, ) Yas. Here we go. I loosened up the ends of these quite a bit to make it a little bit more modern and less retro, and that's pretty much all that's changed since I left you. Now to finish it off with products.. I'M gon na do the dry textured spray at my roots and go in with the beach waves spray. Then for just a scosche, more I'm gon na use some pomade and I'm just gon na take that over the ends for pieciness. She's, a cool girl right, Like She'S, a really cool girl., All right on this side, I'm gon na pull Kristin Ess and Cocktail together the pomade and the serum and mix'em together, and I'm still just gon na rake this through ,'cause. I think that's gon na do the most. Yeah it's doing the most. I invited shine to the party.. Frizz has left the chat. Both done with the same tool, just different techniques and different products.. Those are the results I achieved with the flatiron.. I am shooken.. I honestly really enjoyed working with the flatiron.. I was surprised ,'cause, I'm a curling iron girl to the death, ( Kayley, laughs ), but the flatiron went so well and it made me wan na keep trying the techniques a little bit more. So I can get better at them., So I was really really excited about it and if you're looking for a flatiron, I 1000 % recommend it because it does perform up there with my much more high-end. Like unquestionably. If one thing out of this collection comes up to par with things on the higher end, I would say this one comes closest to being on par with what I've spent a whole lot more money on so., There's, that., Okay, (, Kayley, sighs ). I think that's it.. This is still gon na, be a long video. I can tell. My top three standouts from the line are the blow dryer straightener and the root taming texture tool.. Those are my favorites surprisingly.. I love curling irons, love them.. I just thought that those three really performed super well, but as far as the curling irons, my favorite was the one inch just because I see myself using it the most often. Okay. I think that has to be it at this point.. I hope that you guys enjoyed my little investigative reporting and I hope that it gave you any kind of clarity you needed on whether or not these tools need to be in your life. Hint. They do ( Kayley, laughs, ) And honestly, if you made it to this point in the video. Thank you so much for watching all the way. Through. You're, the true MVP.. If there are any tools, you particularly like tell me, about'em in the comments., If you caught the hint as to what I am announcing on Saturday, also leave that in the comments.. Oh, I would be really interested to see if anybody gets it right to be honest. And that is it for today.. Please, like the video. If you did enjoy it., It helps my channel out a whole darn lot. And if you're new, please hit the subscribe button to join the Braidaholic family here on Kayley Melissa. And that is it for today. I'll, see you on my next one. Mwah bye, ( Kayley Sings ), I'm so excited., (, Kayley, laughs ) Is my brain, an actual functioning human brain or is it just a mass of goo

Michala Townes: I see no problems with 30 minutes of Kayley & KEH. ‍♀️

TomPettyAsFuck: Thanks for reviewing a more affordable brand. I don't have a lot of money to spend on styling tools and/or hair products. I haven't been able to replace my curling iron that broke a year ago because I can't afford a more expensive brand and I don't want to waste money on other cheaper drugstore brands that I know won't work. I would love to see more videos like this in the future

Sabiha: If it's Kayley approved, I must buy . I see what hair stylist use, I buy what hair stylist use ❤️❤️ Edit : Kayley liked my comment I love you so muchh ❤️❤️

Tyiece: Kristin Ess always has such luxurious packaging. I want to try this line

Bryan H: Thanks Kayley! Just bought the wife the blow dryer without even doing any research but after watching this you put my mind at ease! lol

Tyiece: The root taming tool would be great for kinky hair. I'm definitely getting it when I start straightening my hair

Karen1Nicola: When the hell are these hot tool manufacturers going to realise that us girls with LONGER hair need a much longer barrel. Give us barrel length options now pls!!!!

Jillian Kjer: I’m literally so excited to get all of this stuff! Ever since you turned me on to Kristen Ess I literally can’t use anything else!

Chris H: Thanks for mentioning the diffuser even though you have straight hair! I decided to watch this even though I almost never heat style my wavy hair other than blow drying (because I love both you and Kristen Ess) and I'm glad I did. I think I might need a new hair dryer for Christmas, that diffuser sold me!

Kelsey Boswell: Thank you! You're the first person I turn too for anything hair. I'm hair obsessed! Have you done an updated hair routine recently for your everyday nothing special routine? If not, I'd love to see one. Keep doing what you do because you do it wonderfully!

Bethany Arriaga: Ugh, I love you so much!! I was in Target the other day and saw this line and instantly wanted all of it because of the beautiful packaging. But I didn’t look at the price and knew I wanted more info before I went and purchased anything. I was so excited to see that you were doing this review! You are the only hair tuber (idk if that’s a real thing) that I follow and trust

Sahana K: Can we have an in-depth video of the difference between curling irons and curling wands? Also, could you do the differences between straightener curls and curls with a wand/iron Also I think it would be amazing if you could do a whole video dedicated to why your curls aren’t lasting.

Izzi Rush: What I love is she talks about having pretty tools which I also am very cautious about and I’ve never really liked rose gold and is finding a good tool with pretty packaging and pretty materials and being an inexperienced user I think I like all these products thanks for reviewing this product

Jeanie Anderson Carpenter: I bought the hair dryer and LOVE it. It dries so quickly, even on the warm, not hot setting. I also bought the beach wave iron. I was wondering if you have suggestions for women with short layers cut into their medium length hair. How do we curl those so that they blend in nicely with the longer pieces of our hair?

Jackie Arteaga: I saw this video so long ago, and I'm FINALLY coming around to purchasing the flatiron and taming wand. TYSM for your reviews!I would love if you could do a video on hair care for different hair types. I think my hair has changed recently, and I'm really struggling w/ learning how to care for it!

candidcait: Really loved your thorough reviews! I'm also a huge Kristen Ess fan and was PUMPED when I saw she was releasing these tools! I have a good set of hot tools right now that don't need replacing so I am trying to stay strong and resist for now!

Anny Rodriguez: Thanks so much for this! With Christmas coming up, I can get items from this collection for Christmas presents. And I totally think it's the hair clip.

Diana Patricia G. Jimenez: When I saw Kristen coming out with the tolls on Instagram, I just thought: "I can't wait to see Kayley review. " As usual you didn't disappointed. Thank you

Sophia Andretta: Couple things: I have been completely fan girling over this new line and got way too excited when I saw you made a video reviewing them. Also, this video was awesome and you crack me up with all your side comments on the line. Love love love love!!! Thank you, because this is now my entire Christmas list

Scouty D: Great review...I bought the full-size dryer, 1' curling iron & full-size flat iron, and find them all to be high quality, well performing, beautiful tools. I am not a pro hair dresser, but found them all easy to use. The technology is there, and executed at a good price point. If anyone has been impressed with her hair care/styling product line, the same heart and ethos went into these tools.

Ellen Osborne: Sooo excited to try the root taming tool! #curlykinkyroots This was an awesome review of all the tools!

KC Stone: I must admit, I saw your launch video first, I love all the little hints you have throughout your video! The pattern, the towel, the clip! You are the cutest! I already have all the hot tools I need, but I want these ones soooo badly!!!!! So pretty!!!

Alexandra Hardy: I’m so excited! I’ve been in search for new hair supplies and always wait for kayley’s approval ☺️

Altogether Beautiful: Thank you!! I am totally going to add the flat iron to my Christmas list

Hadley From the Chick Inn: I’ve been debating about getting new hair tools. Thanks to you, I WANT THESE!!!

Monica Gonzalez: So excited for this review! The root tamer seems very handy & my guess is that the gold clip was the hint!!

Liana Powley: I've never even heard of Kristen Ess before and now I really want the flat iron!! :-)

JudyLovesNaps: I had no idea that she came out with hot tools at Target. I'm super intrigued by the pivoting curling wand so I might pick that up? Great video Kayley! I liked how you gave us a demo and review on each product. Also pumped for your announcement saturday! Can't wait to see what it is!

Erin C: Thanks for this review! I bought the 1” curling iron today! Can’t wait to try it soon!

Isabella Tussing: ever since i’ve watched kayley’s videos, my hair has been less frizzy and a lot prettier! kudos to you! much love ❤️

Maria Jay: I just started using the Kristen Ess Air Dry Creme and it smells so amazing. I don’t notice a huge difference with my hair but the smell is simply worth it!

Sarah Fox: Loved it! Would love to see a review of her products as well.

Katie Waterrose: Kayley, you are definitely debuting a product line/collab. As a girl with a ton of thick coarser hair I am excited to see what you have to offer girl! Love from Katie in Buffalo NY

Jandy Humble: Perfect timing Kayley & Kristen Ess! I am currently on the hunt for a new flat iron!

Clara Albright: DANG IT I just bought a ghd flat iron so my hot hair tools collection is pretty rounded out now. I definitely don't need anything else but I'm glad it's on my radar in case anything breaks!

pamela gonzalez: This is the most amazing in depth review! I love it! Please keep them coming

vgamer456: I just bought the Kristin Ess Space Saving Compact Pro Dryer which is the cheaper, smaller version of the $100 one. As of writing this comment I haven't used it yet, but I'm super excited to use it. Update: It works like a dream! My hair was left so soft and so shiny. My hair felt so healthy. And I love how I can turn it to low heat to get spots that were slightly damp still. And it's very travel friendly, it folds up and has its own little carrying case. I love it. Definitely would recommend to anyone who wants to buy a hair dryer, but is on a budget. It was only $50 which is a very good price. You don't have as many features as the $100 one Kayley was using, but you still get a really good result. Bonus: I didn't wake up with bedhead. Kristen Ess where have you been all my life?

Laura Rahel Crosby: Thank you! This is what I needed! I've been looking for videos named "Conair vs Kristin Ess curling iron" and found nothing. But this video had the information I needed in how KE compares to my $12-$30 Conair and Revlon curling irons thank you!

Anna M: Loved the video! I have similar hair to you and so far I have loved all the Kristin Ess products that I have tried (And the products smell amazing, which is a nice plus)! Thanks for reviewing these new tools in depth! The end was everything! The blue song used to be the jam lol

Jennifer Braun: Great video - thanks for such a great review on all the hair tools - just got the curling iron today - now you make me want get the flat iron - Happy Holidays! :)

PuddyTat: Love your videos :) Kayley, any hacks to use minimal heat to relax naturally curly/wavy/frizzy hair, without losing the curl entirely? I like my hair to look more polished than air drying, & using a diffuser just makes my hair more kinky & frizzy. Would the root taming tool be good for this? Thanks!

Kelly Maldia: I saw the hot tool line at Target and was dying to trying them. I was hoping you were going to try them out since you loved by hair product line. I'm in desperate need of a knew flat iron. My daughter and I are addicted to to the pomade, serum, braid powder and texture spray.

skeeticus The memelord: Me: alright let's do some homework. Also Me: Sees notification for Kayley Me again: watches kayley for three hours

Maddy Grace: I got the 1 inch curling iron and it’s amazing. It heats up really quickly, holds hair great, has an amazingly long cord, and honestly it’s really aesthetically pleasing on my vanity.

Sarah-is-Lovely: I need that collection of wands it was nice to see you review them and be excited for it.

Sarah De Ruiter: Totally forgot to look for the hint. My curiosity is killing me!!! My favorite is definitely the pivoting curling iron, but the taming tool is a close second. Definitely going to Target tomorrow! I saw her videos, but I wanted to wait until I heard your opinion. ❤️

Jackie Greene: Thank you soooooo much Kayley! Fantastic Review! Just discovered Kristen Ess (I know right) and ordered the flat iron, mini flat iron and texture root comb too! Can’t wait!

HiThere: Omg thank you thank you thank you for explaining Ions in such an easy way that I finally understood. Honestly hair changing for me.

Jessica Chamberlain: YOU the real MVP!! This was so helpful, thank you!! Can’t wait to get some of these tools!

Deb: It's a better day when there's a Kayley video. Missed you girl

Robin Turley: I loved this video! Thank you for the reviews. Also I wouldn’t mind a 30 minute video.

cloudy_: Not even planning to buy a new hot tool, just watching because of your lovely personality that always lifts my mood ❤️

Stephanie Button: My vote is for the hair clip. Kayley has always been about those hair accessories! It was only a matter of time before she got the opportunity to design or collab on developing a set of beautiful and functional hair accessories. There will probably be something rose gold too. Can't wait for the Saturday announcement!

Carolina L.R.: I NEED THEM IN MY LIFEEEE (the tamer and iron... OMG)!!! I loved this video ♥ Thanks so much Kayley!

Sharmaine B: Absolutely love the review but I was waiting for the review on the smaller sized hair dryer in her line because my hair dryer just broke and I travel a ton so that was going to be my main purchase! Anyone know how well it works?

Emily Pope: I wish I would have known about that straightener! My mom asked what straightener to get me for Christmas and I said “idk I don’t know anything about straighteners I guess just get one” now want this one

Amanda Zellar: I went out and got the 3-in-1 flat iron this weekend, expecting that it would be okay, and it's absolutely as amazing as Kayley said. I got compliments on my hair. I never get compliments on my hair. And I also could never do waves and curls successfully with a flat iron, and the tool made it happen, and made my hair shiny. It's the best kind of witchcraft.

Mackenzie: So informative, thanks Kayley ❤

midnightfable: omg. now I need all the tools to go with my excessive collection of Kristin Ess hair products!

Kelsea Nova: Thank you for reviewing easier to afford tools.

Kaelene Dammann: You’re so thorough... I’d love you to review my product if I had one!

Rebecca Morales: Oh man! Flat iron curls on you are crazy beautiful!!! I have a little cowlick thing too, i never wouldve considered parting my hair on the other side, i usually just hairspray it. That was genius!

GirlyGirlOnABudget: Actually so happy I found this video! I’ve been looking at these tools for a while and now and decided to look up a video! Found yours and now I’m happy to say I will also subscribe to your channel I enjoyed you and the video :)

Nicole Lester: Watching you use the cheap curling irons was like watching an infomercial

M. W.: Cute hair clip! Looking forward to seeing more!

Sarah White: The smoothing iron would be great for my second day hair that gets the weird cowlick on the back of my head.

Jennifer Davis: Kayley... I just have to say, I Freaking Love You, You Adorable Ray of Sunshine!!! I have been a subscriber for many many years (OG Braid Dictionary days) and you are a breath of fresh air on YouTube. Keep doing what your doing, Sweets!!

Marissa Sharp: “Is my brain an actual brain or just a mess of...goo?” I feel like that most days, honey! But I blame it on Mom-Brain! Had so much fun watching this! God bless❣️

Kuueaastane Nadine: I wish I could get my hands on these in Europe!!

Erin Haspell: Hope Kristen Ess is available in Australia. Saw the winky face emoticon!!!! They look cute. Well done!! Again, hope we can get them in Australia

Jacqueline March: I have been wondering about these! Thanks so much for the review!

Bees_nail_art: Thanks for this very in-depth review

Regina: Hey love!!! Do you feel like with the straightener that it works all day? I may add it to my Christmas list this year love you and all your content!!! Keep rocking it boss babe!

K R: Yes would love more tools reviewed by you!

Maygen Lowell: Can you do a video trying really cheap heat tools. I think that would be so interesting. I saw a $7 flat iron once and was so curious to see if it worked

blush.and.peonies: What hair dryer would you recommend most? I heard you mention both T3 and Dyson and I’m actually caught between choosing with the two of them.

Savanah Cripps: Please make a makeup tutorial for when your hair was in the shower towel! It looked soooo pretty!!! <3

Stanislava Dimova: Hi Kayley, just a question regards the small comb/taming tool - have you tried it in order to give volume to the roots? And do you think the tool a) can and will give such and b) if yes, will this volume hold trough out the day?. Just curious on finding new ways/tools for adding volume since my hair is pin straight

Dragonfly In amber: My fave is the flat iron! The curls u achieved were from another world!

Rachel Wacker: If Kayley says yes I know it's safe to use and won't ruin my hair

C Tran: Hi Kayley!! If you see this I wonder if your dryer still works I’ve seen a lot of recent reviews saying their dryer broke within a few months or just past warranty. I’m soooo tempted to buy this dryer but I’d be so sad if it broke.

Taylor R.S: I love that they have an automatic shut off. I never use hot tools in the morning because I have literally turned the car around 6 minutes into my commute to go back home and double check I have turned something off.

Sara Katz: The straightener looks so smooth and sleek. Ugggh I want it!

Amanda Rexrode: Definitely the gold clip! She put a little winking face in the top left corner when she used it!!

Janet Halim: yessss finally!! i've been waiting for you to review these tools cos they look so so pretty i cant!!

K Z: I would LOVE to see someone with fringe bangs use the Kristin Ess Texture Taming Root Control Iron on their bangs.

emily b: Lovely video! Love your videos and advice. My guest is you’re coming out with hair accessories with Kitsch :) whatever it is, I wish you the best and can’t wait to see!

Liiisa M.: pleeeeeeaaaaaaseeeeee do a tutorial for this make up look!!!! ♥

Daria Marghidanu: I wish I could find her products on a site that ships to other countries, not just Canada, Mexico and USA

Amanda.: i just got the straightener and I love it so much! also i think your hint was the hair clip!

Amanda Keltner: I'm going to guess you created amazing hair accessories for us. You didn't mention the brand of the gold clip and you typically do.

Alice Mehtemetian: awesome video! do these work in europe as well or would i need adaptors? as in are they dual voltage 110/220? would u recommend the 3 in iron over one of the curlers? btw can’t wait for your announcement

HeyOhMojo: I've been waiting for this video! YAS can't wait to try these <3

Anna w: That comb tool looks so cool!

Kvic: Has anyone tried the root control iron on cowlicks in the back of your head that make your part go WAY too far back? If it works for that it would save me from so much breakage from having to tease that section all the time!!

Ali Kovacs: I want those hair styles because I'm obsessed with hair stylers

bluehearts 201: Kayley, does great reviews. She gives all the products a fair shot.

MHSchultz: These are now on my Christmas list!

Kay Montgomery: Devastated I can’t buy any of these products in the UK. Would love the blow dryer

Micah Williams: I work at a discount store and I found my mom 1 of those driers for $10.
