Hey everybody, its Disney. I'Ve got a roller set to brush out for you guys today and if you notice this side of my face looks a little like red and puffy and crazy. It'S because I have any pretty bad mosquito bite. It has been recovering for about three days, it's finally, okay enough that I felt like I could put some sort of makeup on, but yeah it's still pretty nasty. I couldn't put any foundation or concealer in this area, so it is what it is so this week on a whim, I decided to cut myself some bangs, but so my bangs come to about my eyebrow. So what I did was, I section them off and curled them all forward. Then I've got pen curls. I'Ve got my hair kind of parted in the middle behind the bang and big pen curls going forward on either side. Then a row going backwards. Then a row going forward and then the bottom ones are going forward and then in the fact, they're all just kind of clockwise. So I'm gon na take this out and show you guys kind of what's going on so the reason I cut the bangs is because I've been growing out, as some of you know, a pretty short haircut. I know I still have a pretty short haircut but longer than it was, and I had these short layers on the sides that only came to about here and unfortunately they were. It was exactly at the right length where, when my hair was worn natural with my natural wave, it would just flip straight out, like wings on the side of my head, so I've been having to wear my hair pulled back on the sides to hide that, and I felt like I wanted some bangs, since the sides of my hair will pull it back anyway. I didn't want everything off my face. Also, the lighting today is really bright and the camera, for some reason, is making my hair look red, but it's not rad. It'S still pink, it's just a darker, more plummy pink, make sense. Okay, so there's that I'm gon na go ahead and fluff out the curls and I'm leaving the rollers on the top in for just another moment. So I'm gon na take my Denman styling brush. Just get those pin, curls brushed out nice and soft and we'll look at the back there. We go nice and soft okay and then I'm gon na take out the rollers in the front. Okay, I'm gon na stop playing with the side and take out the rollers in the front so yeah they come to my forehead all the way my eyebrow, like I said, but by rolling them like this, it really puffs them up. So my inspiration for this look was kind of Claudette Colbert because she had kind of little shorter bags in a curly hair style and then what I'm gon na do it's just pen back a little bit of the sides. You can do this different ways. You can use these little combs like that or you can use like cute barrettes like these are little snappy barrettes and they just go right in and clip like that, but I think I'm going to do today, I'm going to take the hair. That'S a little bit longer and I'm gon na take these mini bobby pins they're like the tiniest bobby pins world. Then you have to kind of like fiddle with it to get the sides to pin back the way you want them to, and then I just go back through. You can also, if you want to get the banks to look more cohesive, like together, coherent cohesive is to eat backcombing them a little bit and then fluff them up like that. But you see how even longer bangs can have that kind of very retro vibe. You don't have to cut them super short, which is good if you're like me and you time to grow your bangs out. I'M gon na take a little bit of pomade. It'S just a water-based pomade and I'm just running that through the crown just to keep it a little bit flat and just scrunching it through some of the curls and there you go. Thank you guys so much for watching. I hope this tutorial was helpful and I'll see you guys next time, bye,

Kats Witchin Kitchen Inside Out Beauty: Thank you so much for this tutorial! My hair is the same length as yours and I've bewn looking for a style to do at this stage. My hair flips out on the sides too, very frustrating as you probably know lol!

Dizzyknitsandcurls: Ah the dreaded floppy side wings! I'm so glad this helps, I'm planning on doing a couple videos addressing the layer grow out thing, so more ideas to come, and stay strong, remember your hair is longer then it was yesterday!

A Latte Pearls: Love this Look! Totally going to get Curlers tomorrow to start trying these with my short hair. Do you have a video or plan on doing a video of a tutorial of putting the Pin Curlers in? Would love to see that. Great video like always! <3

Peter Müller: Wonderful Dizzy. So cute. Love your rollerset so much. Thank you.
