Hi everybody welcome back so nice to see you once again hope you enjoyed last week's tutorial and the little message that I left for you at the end, every once in a while. I get inspired to share an inspirational message and I guess last week was one of those weeks where I felt I guess, shall we say motivated so who knows who knows what might hit me today, but I have a tutorial that I think quite a few of You might be interested in you know, I read your comments and suggestions. I always ask for them, because I want these to be tailor-made to you. You seem to really respond to the hair tutorials and one of the questions that I see over and over again is: what do you do on day two or, dare I say, day three after shampooing: how do you style your hair and how often do you wash It to answer your question: I do not wash my hair frequently at all for a couple of reasons number one. I have very dry hair, so naturally the more I wash it the drier it gets because I'm using a lot of heat to straighten and tame the frizz and the curl that I've got going on number two. My hair is color treated because this does not occur in nature. So when you have color treated hair, the more you wash it, the quicker your color fades, so I am incentivized to go as long as I possibly can between shampooing and I have a couple of techniques and strategies to help me get there. First of all, if you've seen any of my hair tutorials before you know my products of choice after I shampoo and condition - and I always use a sulfate-free, shampoo and conditioner - and I tend to bounce around between product lines, so I'm not product loyal there, but afterwards. I will use this mousse my got to be fantastic mousse to get a lot of volume and lift in my hair and then my finishing products are always my goal. My kenra volume 25 and the reason why I adored this hairspray so much is that it's got a strong hold, but it's brushable. So after I use it at the end of the day before bed I can brush it out. My hair feel soft. I go to sleep I wake up the next morning and I feel like I don't have any of that. Goopy hairspray in my hair, the stay and that's how I'm able to restyle and restyle the following day without having that feeling of dirty nasty hair. The other product that I have used and you see me use this - is always day one. But I use my amp root, lift for styling. It gives me a lot of volume in the root a lot of lift. I will only use this product once, though, because I feel, if I use it on day or two or day three, it tends to make the hair very heavy at the root, which is not the look that I'm going for okay, so this is. This is day two hair. I'Ve done my makeup today, but this is essentially what I got when I got out of bed this morning, so I'm going to style my hair, just like I normally do and we'll show you how I accomplish a second day look. So I start with my hair dryer. I always read blow dry, my hair, because, as you can see, I got I got some crazy sticking out here. It'S a little flat over here and mmm okay, so I've got my round brush that I use and relatively large size - and this is just for straightening and smoothing, and I'm just gon na go around my hair and smooth it out as if I was blow-drying. My hair, for the first time same technique, use on the cross, features my longer bang. I pull forward and I go back go forward and go back smoothing it out at this point, I'm getting rid of any funny bends and prints that take place when you sleep going around the entire area down for this style, because there are so many layers, the Volume of the room, if that my objective is to recreate that volume from day one and so smoothing it out, is the first step and then the second step will be to recreate that look blow dry, I'm not going to spend too much time on it. Okay, so I am kind of back to the basics. Here, everything is smooth out, looks pretty even got some volume back now. I can just leave it like this. If I want you know, this is more of a weekend. Casual PC look the Messier the better for the weekend, but I'm going to work today, so I'm going to now. Take it one step further. I have my handy velcro rollers here in various sizes. My green is the largest blue, medium and the red and the smallest again, I'm really not going for wave here, I'm going more for volume, so I can stick with my larger velcro rollers, even with short hair like this, because we're just creating a little lift at The root so I'm going to decide my part line and then I'm going to work my rollers along the part I'm going to start with this back section here and again. What I'm just doing is recreating some lift and lucky for me, since it's got some product in it already, it will be easier to achieve this time around. I actually find second and third day hair to be a lot easier to deal with, simply because it's already been styled and it's got some residual product and it tends to behave a little bit better than knotty first day here. So I'm just working around and again I'm putting these velcro rollers, where I want to have lift and that's usually at my part line and at the crown, so I'm just pulling up and back sometimes they secure by themselves just by pushing. Sometimes you need a clip. It just depends, you know, as we say here in Texas, bigger they're, the closer to God. It'S a spiritual experience around here. Believe me all right boy. The 80s must have been something right. Remember the teased bangs and the frizz out to here. That was a decade. A little more contained this time around, but we gal still like to have volume. So now that I have my velcro rollers, where I want them, I think I'm going to pop one more in the back, because the back of my head tends to get a little flat after sleeping, want to give that a bit of a lift as well. Now what I will do is take my kenra and I am just going to very lightly spray right here. That'S it a few little hits. We don't need much because again, there's still some of that residual product from yesterday and now I'm going to warm it up. I'M just creating some heat in the root, and this is an opportunity for me to now go through some other areas with my round brush. If I feel it's still a little flat. I can address that now on the bottom side, because the top hairs are up in the way, so I can target these lower hairs a little bit easier. A little bit what's happening now is the areas where I apply heat on the velcro, rollers they're, starting to cool. Now and that's what will give it the volume we want to give those a chance to cool down, so I just bend it around my brush. Want it. Let it cool for a moment with around I'm gon na, go for a straight look today. So I'm not going to use my curling iron. I'Ve had a plug in this in place. I wanted a curly look which you can do, but I'm feeling straight we've got a cool front, moving through Houston, so we've got nice dry air and I want to take advantage of that and enjoy straight hair. While I can a little bit more on the back. Just flipping it up so there I was able to target some of those other areas, and you can already see I've got some volume coming in. So what I will do now is I'll. Take my camera and I'll just slightly lift and pull up just to hold. What I've created, while the rest of it, is cooling down, and when you have short layers like this, you don't want to spray on top. You want to spray underneath, like so, and so it makes the ends stick together and it allows for volume on the sides and not a heavy flat. Look okay, and at this point, these guys are still cooling down a little bit. What I'm going to do now? Yes, for me, my rollers and you start happens. It'S got a little bit of a bend to it. Now I can decide if that's too much of a bend or not. I can always straighten the ends, but it's got a nice pop at the root see and that's the volume that I'm looking for. That'S what's so great about velcro rollers. Is you don't get the curl, but you get the lift? Okay and now what I'm going to do is, since I've got too much of a little pop right there, I'm going to smooth that out area cuz. I like that, a little flatter on my face. I will leave the back areas and I'm just taking my fingers at this point no brush and I'm pulling you see how I'm pulling up pulling up and I'm going to now piece my style in with my hand, and when I get pieces where I like it. I will then hit those areas with my hairspray, so if I'm happy with writing here piece, it just take my hands run through just piece it in and just spray a little bit from underneath, but the hair will hold really really well today, just because of the Styling that took place yesterday and the product line that was already in it, but again not too much because it's such a great brushable hold. So, that's that's why products are so important and that's why we all get excited here on YouTube when we find products that work really well, it's you know it's such a great feeling, because otherwise you're spending a lot of time and money. How many times have we been through products that we had such high hopes for and they failed us? They you know, did not work as well, you're having to wash and shampoo and do over and over and over it's just it's wonderful. When you find something that works and actually looks good and saves you time at the same time, that to me is the gift right there. So to me, this stuff is magical. What can I say, alright, so I've just kind of worked my way through and took everything and just sort of popped it where I wanted it and I'm setting on the underside as I spray and that's gon na, be it now. Here is my my absolute secrets for being able to go to a third day now without shampooing. Maybe you see women out and about and they're always touching their hair and they're flipping it and they're flipping it and they're tucking it behind their ears, and you know some women just love to have their hands all in their hair. Well, that can pose a challenge when you want to extend it to the second and third day because think about it. We have dirt and particles in our hands, and so when we touch our hair, we're bringing that to our hair, but also, if we take our hands and we're running it through our scalp and we're moving hair from side to side we're taking the oils and the Dirt from the hair from the scalp and we're we're pulling it through, so we're essentially making our hair dirtier than necessary. So my ultimate tip and trick for being able to go into a third day is once I'm happy with my look and I spray it. I do not touch it. I will not touch this hair unless I'm walking into the station and a windstorm gets ahold of it and messes it up. But even then I won't touch my scalp. I will just grab my pieces, pull them back, where I need them and just spray the ends, so the key is set it and forget it, and if you can do that, I promise you you'll be able to get into day 3 post Cham poo of not Having to wash your hair, I truly believe that giving hair a break is a really good thing. We have wonderful natural oils that do great things for our hair when it comes to conditioning them and making them look and feel good. So over washing and over drying can pose some challenges. So I'm here to help you get through that and to show you my secrets on being able to get into a second and third and, dare I even say fourth day without shampooing. That would be usually Thursday or Friday and then I'll go through an entire weekend, and I won't wash until Monday - and I love it when that can happen to me - that's just liberating so anyway comments and suggestions below of what you would like to see. L V: I just cut my hair today and, by watching your hair videos, I've picked up a couple of techniques that I know will come in very handy now that my hair is shorter. Thanks for all the great tips, Dominique. Much appreciated!

Kathleen Fisher: Love the tutorial, "Not touching your hair" helps to maintain style the next day. So does a satin bonnet or pillow case. The fabric is smooth so it doesn't pull on the hairs and cause breakage like cotton. Bonnets have really helped me with 3 to 4 day hair since I'm naturally curly.

Dyan Carter: I'm learning a lot from you. I applied a few of your techniques to my routine this morning and can tell a difference.... mostly, I feel more confident and that's priceless. Thank you! :)

Michele Coccaro: Hi Dominique! I am so happy I found your channel! You are such an interesting person and not to mention drop dead gorgeous! You're just full of class and elegance! I've been growing my hair for over 5 years now after losing it to cancer, its down to my butt now but you've inspired me to cut it and get some style going on here! please continue with the tutorials because they're fabulous! xoxo Michele

Yoga with Ursula: I love all your videos! I'm letting my hair grow out and aiming for your style! Thanks for all you do.

Daphne's Beauty: Great tutorial Dominique! Really learned some useful tips. I would never have thought to blow dry again! You have fabulous volume in you hair. Have a wonderful weekend. Xoxo Daphne.

Mary: You are so amazing! You are a prime example of a woman of class and on point with style ideas. Yay, to a woman who is comfortable in her skin. Thank you!

Marilyn Byers: I love your tutorials - often watch them several times, especially the ones on styling short hair. I have my hair cut exactly like yours and get lots of compliments. Thanks, Dominique. I am so glad I found you!!! Your personality matches your beauty!

Laurel Shull: Dominique - thanks for sharing your tips and tricks. I have a new-ish short do and am still figuring out how to style it. I don't want to wash it even every other day so your news about day 3 and 4 is so appreciated. I picked up a sticky mousse at Walgreens before I listened to the products you use and now I'll be purchasing the got2be fat-tastic. I can do this, too!!

Susan M: Thank you for the great video. I have just discovered your channel. I've grown my highlighted/ color treated hair to a long length after years of short hair, and I was feeling guilty about not shampooing every day. So glad that you agree with my philosophy of giving hair a break from shampooing. P.S. Your hair is fabulous!

darcy kasianczuk: Truly a breather of fresh air with super good instructions!! That's coming from a hairstylist. I LOVE your color and am going to have my daughter that is also a stylist copy your color. Feel free to share your formulas!! Keep up the good work. ☺️

Lourdes Valdez: I absolutely love ALL of your tutorials! I have purchased many of the products you have used and I must say, these and your tutorials have changed my ability and confidence to blow dry, curl and flat iron my hair! I even had a Brazilian Blow out done and WOW! I am a curly-haired executive gal and a professional look is a must.... thank you Dominique!

Susan Freitas: I LOVE your tutorials! I have naturally curly hair and it's tough to deal with on the 2nd,3rd or 4th day! Can you post a tutorial for curly hair on those days? I have color treated hair also. I've purchased the Fatastic mouse, Kenra hair spray and I absolutely love them. I also purchased some of the other hair products. You have great advice and I love that you tell us exactly what you're doing and what you're using. I'm subscribed and I love it. You're so beautiful to watch :)

Chacha: Love your tips and tricks! I also try to go 3 days between washing! Love your videos

Devon’s Life: I feel so blessed to have found your channel! My hair is similar in length and your videos have inspired me to actually do something with it. My 9 year came in this morning while I was trying some of the things I learned from your videos and said “I have never seen you use a hair dryer or flat iron, looks good.” :)

Shawna Thorington: Thank you for these hair styling tips!! It is making a huge difference in the look of my hair style! Super helpful!!!

kimbo282411: LOVE you eye makeup in this tutorial Dominique! Have you done a video on how to achieve this look already, if so, what was it called?  Btw, you have helped so much with how to style/blow dry my naturally curly, frizzy hair and I wanted to thank you!

Emma Nolan: Just love your hair tutorials. Please keep them coming

Lori Gorton: I watched you for the first time--in one of your super fantab hair tutorials--about three weeks ago. And now--about 20 tutorials later, I am addicted! Beautiful hair. Beautiful, classy--yet edgy--styles. But even more importantly, they're presented by an amazingly personable personality! With Grace and warmth. Thank you for sharing yourself, your tips, and warmth. You're a great "YouTube Bestie"! And I never thought I'd say something like that. Blessings-Lori PS: Keep'em coming, Miss D!

Michele Roberts: Gorgeous hair, thanks for the tips, I have a similar cut and also fight my curls so I am eager to try this!

LesMess Bucilova: I had my hair cut like yours on Friday & Saturday I had my color done also. I love the look on me and including my friends & colleagues. My boss kept calling me the new girl & then went home to tell his wife who then called me to get a picture so she could see how it was done to get something similar. After watching this video. I feel more I control to style it without washing everyday. I haven't been able to find kenda hair spray yet. Where do you get it? Thank you for your techniques & thank you for inspiring as well as being so in tune to us regular, working ladies who don't have much of a budget to be glamorous but still want to look as best as we can.

Erlene Goldston: Thank you Dominique for all your helpful hints and product information. I have been following your you tube channel for a few months now. I have been going back to different subjects and getting your techniques and repeating and repeating your subjects. Thank you for helping women be the best and boldest we can be.

Jolene Rader: I'm with you on this. I wash 2 times a week Wednesday & Sunday. I condition every other day, day two hair awesome styling & if I go to day three the look I get the most compliments on.

Marilyn K.: Thank you so much! You have the cut and style I had and loved 2 years ago and haven't been able to get back. Will show my new stylist your video even though you have twice the hair and texture. I sooooo appreciate your detailed instructions! You are great, and gorgeous!!

Nicole Kirshy: This was super helpful. Thank you! I never thought to re-blow dry for more volume.

Maria Martinez: hi, Dominique. Thank you for sharing this wonderful information. My hair, which is dry, frizzy and thin, has always been a challenge to me, and so much more now, post menopause, when the hormones waved their way out of my system. The products you showed look like they could work very well for my hair, so I plan to buy them asap. Again thank you for the tips and the inspiration. Love and blessings,

Kandra Young: Loving your videos! The set it and forget it made me laugh, but also is great advice! I have short hair now, but it's hard to not wash everyday because it seems dirty/oily and I have dry hair. It's all from me playing/touching my hair all day. Trying to break that bad habit ;)

Adela Razek: Love your style. Thank you for all the GOOD tips ❤️

Emmy T: Love this! I wash my hair every 3 days or 4 if I can. I love your tips on hair care!

Staci Foster: I came upon your videos and couldn't stop watching all of them. Thank you so much for your tips. I got so many compliments on my hair yesterday. Thank you for finally teaching me how to blow out bangs.

Lori Hatton: I am obsessed with your hair cut and style. I love it. I also will go to day 3 hair before washing due to coloring. Thank you for sharing this :) xoxo

Melody N.: I love watching your tutorials!!! I am hair dryer and round brush challenged!!! I love watching you do it and explaining your techniques as you go!!! Thank you so much!!!

Susie: You make it look so easy! I love the colours in your hair this time.

jda58tex: Thank you for this video. I had very long hair and recently cut it. The pictures I showed were NOT of a bob cut, but that's what I got. I've been struggling with it to not look "dated" but still look polished. I found many of your tips and products very helpful. And today, my hair looks fantastic. So, thank you for sharing.

tkaplan21: Hi Dominique, I just found your channel and I am loving it! You do such a great job with everything. I was wondering why you don't mist your hair with water for 2nd/3rd day styling. I've never thought of blowdrying dry hair for just the heat! I had thought that a light mist of water would reactivate the product already there -- but your tutorial makes me wonder if that's necessary. Your thoughts?

s garcia: I am totally with you on this! Most of the time I wash my hair every 4-5 days and I love it! great video :)

Sonia Sergent: Thank you SO much! I can't believe I'm already 71 - but with that came - dry hair. So... I, too, do not wash my hair any more often than 3 days - and my color stays so well that my beautician comments on it! I love the tips as I have never been very adept at managing my hair. Thanks, again!

Robin H.: wow.. thank you! I love cutting my hair shorter, easier for the long business hours and high humidity. Unfortunately, I feel that I have to wash it to style it to be out in public. I'm beyond pleased to see a tutorial on giving your hair a break and not have to schedule my off hair days to be unsocial days. Going to give these tips a try.

Anabel Esparza-Torres: Thank you for this! I've recently cut my hair short and I must say you have the best short hair tutorials I've seen - plus a fabulous look! As my hair has gotten older it is dry and oily at the same time (plus frizzier), so my question is, do you ever use a dry shampoo to extend the time between shampoos? If so, do you have one you recommend?

Shannon Odell: Dominique--love your videos! I'm hooked! On this styling for days 2-3, have you ever used dry shampoo sprays? If not why not? I do which helps with avoiding the flat hair at back of head and brings in lift to hair. Aveda makes a nice one.

phacker24: Thank you so much for the video! I always have trouble fixing my hair on day 2 and this helped so much! Love your videos!

Kristi Miera: Hi, I just watched my first 10 tutorials this evening LOL, I've loved them, I'm addicted now. I have an angled bob short enough to frame my face and long bang (I'm growing them out). My hair is a beautiful kind of ombre looking silver and deep brown. I would love to see a tutorial on this haircut! I am really bored with my hair but I don't want to be. I love when you show the use of each product, I don't use any. I want to know what's good for my hair. I don't ask for much. Haha. Oh, and I have no curl to my hair! I don't know what to do with it. Thank you! You do great tutorials. Kristi

Joanne Kukier: I try to always watch your tutorials and I find them very enlightening. I have purchased many of your hair products that you are so fond of and likewise agree that they are fab ...thanks so much for the information you provide to all of us ladies out here... you do a wonderful job ...keep up the good work. Bridget

Stacy Boorn: Thank you so much for this tutorial ! This is the kind that most women want to see , I wish more people would do these !

Michele L: Dominique thank you so much for these great videos! I just love watching them and you. Not only are you articulate but you are so down to earth. I am 61 years old and a very low maintenance girl who never wore any makeup besides lipstick and mascara growing up but now since menopause I find I have to wear blush, lipstick, mascara and lol fill in my eyebrows! My hair is also so much coarser and thinner and being a tomboy and outdoor enthusiast my hair is always sweaty from gardening or hiking and living in Arizona we perspire a lot so of course my hair is always wet. I don't always wash my hair but every third day unless of course it is way to wet after hiking then I will wash it. I also just hate blowing out my hair I'm not very good at it but I am going to try those products that you are using and see how I do. Thanks so much for helping us "not so girlie girls" out in the hair and makeup department.

Christina Villecco: Just beautiful! I LOVE you hair and the color. I just cut mine into a similar style and love your tips, thanks so much! xo, Christina

Leeflang7: Thank you again for another amazing tutorial! I used too much product so it was definitely a one day look! Now I have inspiration again... Thanks again!

debbie klemcke: Love your videos! I too go 3-4 days between shampoos and use some of the same techniques as you. I have never been one that saw much of a difference in my hair by using certain shampoos....until I started using Living Proof Full shampoo, thickening mousse and their prime style extender. My hairdresser even commented on my hair after using it for about 3 months. I have fine hair but quite a bit and can't use conditioners as they make it too limp. We have a water softener in our house and a get a container of water from the outside faucet for my final rinse! It does make a difference on my hair! I've tried the Kendra hairspray and it does not work for me. Love my aquage hairspray! Keep making these wonderful videos!

Betty Standiford: Loved this one. I am 64 and got my hair cut like this and didn't really know what to do with it. I was tired of the long (old lady) look. I'm going upstairs to try this. Thanks!

whitnee hoopes: Life changing! I have medium to long hair. But after watching this, ive only been using my blowdryer and round brush all week . my hair has never looked more healthy! Its more shiney, bouncey and full. I always have done a blowout, but never have tried doing it on dry second day hair. I usually fix it with a straightener the next day which flattens it. . Im never using my straightener again!

Bobbi Rowlett: Second video I have watched. I've just run across it. You make it all look so easy. I have shorter hair like you, but I think yours is very much thicker than mine. I have a lot, it's just very fine. I love the 4 looks you showed. Another one I would tell you about is just pulling back one side behind your ear with a decorative bobby pin or barrette. I really enjoyed your video. Thank you.

Ritzie: I see that this is an older video, and I know that you have gone thru many hairstyles. But let me say, I LOVE this look on you! I would love it on me too! This was a really good video...that is, helpful to WATCH you do it. I'm going to give it a try. I already only wash my hair every 5 or 6 days, and do feel that doing the style correctly on day 1 makes the subsequent days easier. Thanks Dominique!

Liz Sanchez: Thank you Dominique! Just came across this video. I always wondered how you did it. Thanks for sharing your hair techniques and secrets. Love it!!!!

Loni Duncan: I just found your videos and love them! My hair is fine and not very thick but very curly. After seeing your video, I got it cut like yours, colored darker and am learning to work with it.I've told a couple other people about you and they love you too!

Monika: I love this video, watching it every time I do my hair. I tried to do all the steps exactly the same. I even bought those curling rolls and round brush. My only problem is that my hair tangles on brush, doesn't go smoothly. I don't know why is that. Also, what do you think about using dry shampoo?

Maria Carpitella: Thank you, Dominique. This was so helpful. I definitely will give it a try.

J J: Fantastic video for extending your hairstyle . I purchased the Kenra spray and love it- especially the scent thanks again Dominique

Kristin Vie: I appreciate all your tutorials. I also go as many days as possible w/o shampooing and love WEN cleansing conditioner. The lavender is my go-to for volume, but occasionally I mix w/tea tree oil. I love the Replenishing Treatment Mist also by WEN for helping that 2nd, 3rd, and yes 4th day style. I've found QVC to have the best price for WEN & most choices. I caution when you try WEN to make sure you use enough product and mix water gradually w/it to create an almost lather & a better final result. Thanks again Dominique...you're the best!

unswydd7712 7712: Thank you for these videos. I just got my hair cut and styled so you are really helping me!!!

lipstickprincess1: Binge watching your tutorials and learning sooooo much! Thanks

Laurie Rambo: Hi Dominique, I'm new to your channel but I have really enjoyed your videos. Love your hair so much I got mine cute similar. Love watching the styling. You are so easy to watch and I feel like you've been a friend for a long time, that is a true gift to make others feel so comfortable. Look forward to seeing your smiling face every week!

patricia limoges: Thanks Dominique! I've learned a lot watching your tutorials. My hair is looking better already. BTW, you are gorgeous.

SilverWolfQueen: Thank you so much for this tutorial! I just recently cut 12 inches off of my hair, and now I have no idea how to style it.  I really liked what the salon had done with it, but I just couldn't recreate it.  Your video showed me how to do it in a way this hair-challenged girl can understand. So, thank you for that.

anna jernej: I am a hair stylist and I like your daily routine with your hair. You show us that to look good it means, you have to do something. Often it is hard work but it is every second worth:-) You are my Hero of the day:-)

Susan Overlock: My hair looks better and fuller when its shorter but I've always been clueless when it comes to styling. Thank you for the videos.

Ana Bradford: I just started fallowing you and thanks for all the information. I have hair like yours that I’m trying to grow out to a similar style that you have. I don’t color my hair and I wash it every other day. So this has been very informative.

100daysatatime: You're teaching me stuff I really should have known by now. I'm glad I ran across your channel today! I'm chopping my hair next week too, so the timing for this video is excellent.

Barbara Smith: Great video. I have hair somewhat like yours: curly, wavy, frizzy, with a mind of its own. The trick For me to get my hair to last for 4 days is to get the volume in it. That may Take longer the first day but that volume is what keeps my hair styled. You still may have To style it a little but not Much. My hair is also shorter with a lot of layering that keeps its style.

jackie crowe: I love this hairstyle and the colour is fabulous! Thanks for the inspiration . Your tutorials are wonderful. Greetings from Dublin

deeann harris: Thanks for another great video! You are so good at explaining everything in your tutorials. And beautiful as always!

Olga Orlova: What a great tips, using them already! Thanks for sharing! You are fantastic!

Marie McDermott: Thank you so much for sharing these hair tips! It is because of your fantastic blow dry routine that I invested in a quality dryer and stopped using my flat iron daily! Also, is there a dry shampoo that you prefer? I find that (aside from keeping my hands out of my hair) dry shampoo is key to getting me into and though day 3.

Kris Buffalo, MN: I wanted to Thank you for taking time to do your video's. I learn at least 1 tip, idea, technique or product from every video. This one is 5yrs old but I'll refer back to it EVERY time I need a quick brush up on some "how to's". There is something to be said for a mature, knowledgeable woman. Again, Thank you for taking time to share your many tips & tricks. Have an AMAZING day & God Blesd.

Lady Paix: Just discovered your channel and I love it!!! Thank you for these tutorials!!!!!!

A_Numbers_Girl: I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you. I appreciate the wonderful hair and make-up tutorials. I am a late 40s professional female, and it is so refreshing to find hair and make-up inspirations appropriate for work or play. I have actually ordered many of the products mentioned in your tutorials, and I love them.

Helen Ross: Enjoying your videos so much . Very inspiring and even at 62 I am learning some hair tricks

Mrs B: I am so happy to have found your channel. My hair is fine, but I have a lot of it and I usually wash it daily. I'm ready to spend a bit of time on day 2. Doubt I can make it to day 3. Also, it's so nice to hear an intelligent, educated, well-spoken woman on you tube. Some sound like absolute messes.

sharonkelso1: You're amazing! I love watching every video you do. I've always been hairstyle challenged and your tips have been a huge help. Like other lady's, I'm very tired of watching girls in their 20s. Although they look beautiful, its just not always right for me (at 55). You have an amazing life and I'm happy to share in that blessed life in a small way. Through you, my life is more blessed. Thanks for making me smile. Keep the videos coming

66joydipi: Very helpful, wonderful tips! Amazing even with your second day hair! Love your nail polish color!

Heilet van Ree: I used this trick today when I had to speak in public. This morning I used the Velcro rollers, the hairspray and the blow dryer and the effect was just unbelievable: my hair looked like I had just shampooed and treated it, but I saved myself at least half an hour of time! Amazing tip, thank you !!

Susan from San Antonio: Stumbled upon your videos today and they are so well done. You make looking amazingly beautiful so easy. So nice to watch a beautiful woman who wants to look feminine and classy.

Dawnie T: Hi Dominique, My hair is thin and stick straight. Not one bit of wave or curl. Typically I wash and blow dry daily because it's greasy and separates on my scalp 2nd day. I watched your video and used my new round brush on my bangs and around my part. I can't believe the difference it made in a great way. Thank you so much! I will try this on the weekends for sure.

Camille Bell: I love your videos. You bring a element of class and maturity that is in shirt supply.

Sylvia Longley: Trying to grow my hair out at the moment, just loving your hair tutorials. Hope i make it.

DMAC Blueairwater: I love your videos and have learned so much! Is there any way you can do a second or third-day hair tutorial for when wearing it curly? I still feel the need to brush out the hairspray at the end of the day, which of course disrupts the curl. What's the best way to freshen the curly style the next day, without starting all over with a "totally-rinsed-out-in-the-shower" head of hair? By the way, I went that route daily until I found your videos! ;) Thank you so much!

Cynthia Bell: Really helpful! Great suggestions for how to not wash hair so often!! I also have dry hair and am going to follow that. Now if only I could find a great hairdresser that is great at style. Keep on trying. So fair not so happy in my choices!!

CC Advisor: Hi Dominique, I too have very dry, curly hair and I love your techniques to help me get straight hair and get the most out of my hair style. P.S. I had my hair cut into a short bob as well and I am loving it! Thanks for all of your advice. I was wondering whether or not you take a multi vitamin and if so, could you recommend something?

Pamela Burkholder: First, love your videos! I am 41 and also in Texas, and I so much enjoy your tips & great style. :) I know this is an older video, but I did want to ask a couple of questions about your hair, if you don't mind! I have a very similar hair type (very thick & coarse, naturally wavy/curly, dry, color-treated). I currently have a longer blunt bob, but want to go to a cut similar to yours with more layers. I *love* the volume and the versatility! Can you advise me a little bit on what to tell my stylist aside from just taking a picture with me? It looks like it's maybe shorter at the nape area, and then just longer layers on top. Any specific tips?

Cindy Watts: I love this tutorial...thank you for all that you share!!!! Can't wait to get some of these rollers. I already love the Kenra products. Your hair is so fabulous and I adore the color.

Yolie Hines: Great tutorial Dominique very helpful, thank you so much !! Blessings !!!

kenleta1: I just discovered you. Your tips are so doable and they really work! My hair has looked so good since I watched your show on how to blow out bangs. I am hooked!

K H: Impeccable Dominique. Thank you for all tutorials.

Debbie Glass: I am so thankful I found your channel, I have learned so much! Makeup and hair tips, they make me feel so much better, thank you!

Gina Storey: Hi Dominique, Are you using the high heat again on the second and third day? Also, when you let it cool, do you ever use the cool setting on the dryer? I hardly ever wash my hair every day, and these are GREAT tips for second & third day styling, thank you so very much!!
