Cutting My Hair And Giving Myself Curtain Bangs (Kind Of)

Hi welcome to my bathroom um. This is probably like the second video in a row where we're in my bathroom, but that's just what it is. Also, i'm mad there's a reflection of my light in my glasses, but i can't take off my glasses because i can't see we're gon na be cutting my hair. I have done this once before on my channel like a long time ago, like probably like beginning a quarantine, my hair was a little longer kind of like sick of my hair. It looks too long also the sides bigger than this side. I don't know why. So the plan is, we have some hair cutting scissors here. This is a goodie hair. Cutting set comes with these regular hair cutting scissors just like the flat edged kind, and it comes with these ones for like their hair, thinning scissors, which i thought would be really nice for me, because i do get thick hair pretty often, but i don't. I think i should thin my hair yeah, i'm gon na thin, my hair. It also came with a comb that has like little cute measurements on it, so we might use that to see how much i really want to take off. Usually i just kind of wing it and go about shoulder length, i'm going to go not that much shorter, i'm just like trimming my hair, because it's a little too long. Also i'm wearing a new shirt that i got from old navy. I got it for like 12 bucks, maybe it's a pink tie dye and it's very comfortable, but it's also very big. I feel like one of those flying bats or flying squirrels. How do i normally do this? Don'T normally brush my hair when i do this, maybe, but i already have a middle part going down the top of my head. So i'm going to take my comb and i'm just going to kind of actually take my no i'm going to take a comb. Take a comb and kind of use to come, we'll just do a random part. How does that look that looks? Okay, let me know if that looks: okay, i'll, probably talk about hiding this and be like ooh, but whatever so we're going to start with the left side cute and i'm just going to grab. I don't even remember how i do this. I think i'm going to grab it and i'm just going to do i wan na do like not a lot like. I said: i'm just trimming my hair, so i'm probably gon na do like a teeny tiny amount. Okay, wow, that looks so bad, but this is my hair yeah already it feels like lighter, doesn't feel like i cut anything off of the front at all. Ow. Oh yeah was i talking about something: oh yeah, when you cut curly hair, it's great because that's the wrong pair of scissors when you cut curly hair, it's great because you don't have to be too precise about what you're doing, because it is curly. So it's just going to bounce up. Okay, i kind of like that length. Actually i don't know if it's straight at the back, so we're gon na use this little tiny mirror there. You guys are say hi, um nope, not even at all. So i'm like. Do you see that kind of like swoops at the bottom? I need to like fix that, but i don't know how, because i don't have a second person here yeah. I remember i made one of these on my channel like when quarantine first started. My hair was probably like a lot longer like down to here. My hair is not near that length right now. I remember you doing that and i remember it just kind of going. It went pretty good you can't you see like i can't use my finger. I don't see the hair i'm talking about, there's one back there. That is just like slightly longer than everybody else grabbed the wrong clues again and it was super thick. So i bought this hair cutting set and i cut my hair myself or no - i didn't even buy this. I didn't have this, then this was a different time. I remember cutting my hair with those cow sitters. I still have them. I still use them for like opening packages and stuff. I use those and it didn't go awful honestly, it didn't go that bad. Also. This is the only reason i'm like glad. I don't have straight hair because in situations like this, i couldn't even tell you what hair cutting technique. This is so don't come for me yeah in situations like this, it's great, because i don't have to worry about what i'm doing, but there was another time i think it was like january. I was cutting my hair, i'm gon na do the up and down thing. I don't know if that does anything, but i think so i was cutting my hair and um. I was going to visit my sister and i remember cutting my hair and i was doing the thinning thing where i saw like a bunch of different techniques, grab ponytail and then you just kind of like do this down. I grabbed these ones by accident. I grabbed the real hair cutting scissors instead of the thinning scissors. So that's why this piece of hair right here is like shorter than all the other ones, because this was one that i cut. I don't know, but i also want to try and do something where, like my front pieces are a little shorter. Maybe i feel like that would be kind of fun but like these are a little shorter. But i think this is the length i'm gon na stop at. This is the length that i i keep finding like random hairs. I like didn't get. This is the length that i'm happy with. I think. Okay, that's not bad! Honestly, that's not too bad, so we're gon na tie this side off yeah. I haven't cut my hair in like a few months. I think it hasn't really been like that long, but it's been long enough where i feel like. I need a haircut and i don't want to go out and get a haircut because, since i have curly slash, wavy hair do like that much just kind of go for it. While i'm talking, i have to brush my hair before i go that felt so wrong. Oh, my god that felt wrong. Oh no! I didn't i didn't like cut like anything off in the front. Actually, okay, but anyways. I don't like going to the actual hairdresser because i feel like they. I have to brush my hair all the time before i go. Oh see, this is what i don't like hair, that's like longer than the others anyways after always brush my hair before i go, because obviously my hair is curly and i don't like when other people brush my hair, there's no like traumatic experience behind it. Oh, that was gross. I just don't like it, because i feel like everybody's always like way too rough with my hair. I know how hard i can go on my head, like that. They don't so when they just rip through my hair with a hairbrush when it's dry too, that's when it really starts like up. Okay, actually, not too bad. I think the length is nice. I like shorter hair on me, for some reason. It just makes me feel better about myself, it's kind of brad mondo. If you're watching this boy, i'm sorry, i have no technique for this whatsoever. Cute cute length, i'm actually kind of happy with this. I want to do like shorter pieces, though small pieces like these two, maybe here, let me just yeah those are about the same piece tie off the rest of my hair. Look at my bun look at my little bun, that's more scrunchy than bun, but i've always wanted like two pieces of hair where they're kind of like shorter than the others. But i don't know how to do that. So i'm just gon na brush i'm gon na brush. You, though, i don't care and then i'll, let them after, but we're just gon na grab these like strands of hair, and i kind of wanted, like the curtain, bang thing that they do where they kind of go like this. But i don't know how to do that on myself, i'm honestly winging this right now start there and just kind of i didn't cut like anything off we're gon na start maybe like well. I have to think about my hair curls, so i'm gon na start maybe like here there we go. We got a little more hair off that time. I look so bad right now. Okay, so these pieces are obviously like a little shorter. I don't know how this is gon na end up looking because i don't wear my hair. Why did i do this? I don't wear my hair down like this. I always do this um. I think i'm gon na wet this and just like see how it looks with oh bathtub. You guys are on a you guys are on the shelf of my toilet right now and my light is on my laundry basket, which is like on my counter. So this is how it looks. I hate it, but i have to match the other side. Why did i do this to myself? So how do i do this on this side, though? I'M not i'm not left-handed. Do that. I am not doing that. I'M just gon na use my left hand for this, and i am not left-handed at all. Oh god, this is scary. I did not angle the scissors at all during that, but the angle, my scissors, maybe a little bit more - that sucked also are they even is the i look bad. I look so bad towel dry it. Oh, my god, this looks so bad and i'm not gon na put any like product in there or anything, because i'm not doing that tonight. Luckily, i'm showering tonight, so i might show you guys what it looks like so much hair um. I might show you guys what it looks like after wait till the end of the video. If you want to see that, oh all right, we did it hey, we have some shorter pieces of hair and then the longer ones i'm just trying to mess up my life right. Now, honestly, i couldn't tell you what i'm doing. I also still need to thin. My hair wow, i look ugly, see because i do my hair, like this all the time. So what was the point of me doing that we don't know i'm going to tie off the right side, we're going to the left side. First, these are thinning scissors. They have the little things here to kind of go in between hairs and then there's the blade. So what i do is i go from underneath you're supposed to you're not supposed to do the crown of your head because you you're not so i'm just going to clip it over here like that, and i was gon na. Do all of this underneath part right here, so i'm gon na kind of go in from underneath, though okay, so he's gon na go in you're gon na. Do this i do need to brush my hair. I need to brush my hair. I didn't think about that. I should brush my hair, but i don't like and then see you get all of this out of there. It'S disgusting. I need to brush my hair, though, for this pulled out more because the only way to get all the hair out when you're thinning is to use a hairbrush we're still going. Oh god, my shirt. If i just like finger brush, it it'll be fine. I think so that's thin enough for me. I'M not trying to go any more than that, because i don't want to mess up my life and then you put this down and then done cute same process. You'Re going to go out go around the crown of your head fold. It over here clip her into place. I also can't see at all we're gon na do a few. Maybe i literally don't have a technique. Oh gross um. I literally watched, like four youtube videos on how to thin your hair with thinning scissors at home, because i'm like okay, i really don't want to it up i've only it up once and i didn't show you guys that, because i didn't feel like filming me, cutting My hair that day it just keeps coming, you can't even see it, but it's still there. Oh, these pieces of hairs are like way too short. Okay, so my hair is cut nice and short um. I am going to wash it tonight and i'll show you guys what it looks like, probably tomorrow when it's dry and when all the and when i have like actually good hair - and it looks even for me so and my hair is just so much thinner.
