How To Cut Shaggy Bangs For Men : Hair & Grooming Tips

Hey I'm Steven Marinero, the salon guy 20 year, hair stylist and celebrity media and beauty correspondent, and today I'm going to show you guys how to cut shaggy bangs for men who, as you can see here, I've got my cool, buddy and pal here, Justin Justin, how You doing buddy good good, as you can see, he's already got kind of shaggy bangs ready, but I'm gon na show you guys how to trim them up so you're going to need two essential tools: a comb with white teeth and a pair of shears. Now again, you might not necessarily have a pair of professional shears, but whatever you're using make sure they're, nice and sharp. So now, I'm going to show you guys how to get that shaggy bang! So now we're ready to cut Justin's bangs and create a nice shaggy. Bang for him now, as you can see, they're already pretty shaggy, but they're getting a little long. So the best way to do this, if you're doing it at home, if you're doing it yourself, is to take the comb, use the white teeth and do this section by section now, you want to start in the corner here and what you want to do is By using your hand, pick up the hair and lock it in like so with the Y teeth. Alright, the key to having a shaggy or textured bang is how you actually cut it. So what we're gon na do is trim this up using the points of your scissors and we're going to chip in like so which creates a jagged edge. So it's not so straight across then. What you're going to do is continue by grabbing another section and picking up where you left off, locking it in with the why teeth of the comb and again coming in with a point of your shears and cutting up into it. As so. What this is doing, its allowing it to have a more textured and separated look, so it's not just straight across the last thing I want to do is take this and cut it all straight across, because that's not going to create that shaggy, bang look and then, As we move to the last section, which is in the corner here again, do the same thing: take the hair lock it in with the white teeth of the comb, and he likes to have a little bit of an angle on his bang, but either way you Still want to cut the same method by chipping into it like, so this is going to help you create that textured messy and that shaggy kind of bang that a lot of guys are wearing these days. And if you want to be a little daring and have more fun. You can come in with like this and let the hair fall into the scissors or the shears, and that's going to create that really cool separated. Look. This also helps with if the hair is too thick, because if the hair is too thick, it doesn't allow that nice smooth flow well.
