So today i impulsively decided to cut front wispy bangs on myself, but i think eventually, they'll just grow out to be curtain. Bangs anyways. I start by sectioning out a thin triangular section at my part, and then i cut that to the shortest length, and then i start widening that triangular section and adding more hair to cut. So i think, there's less room for error. That way. This is actually super. Similar to the way i cut my curtain bangs, the only difference is that the middle section is a lot shorter. In the end, you kind of want to aim for this shape. At this point i styled them, so they didn't end up being too short, and then i trimmed them to my liking. I let down the rest of my hair to blend in the sides and that's basically it

DiscoChixify: I love cutting my own hair. I’ve been doing it for a few years now and it’s super satisfying. I totally agree with your strategy to cut a little bit at a time and adjust as you go. It’s better to cut less and then go shorter as you clean it up. My hair cut is usually rough the first day and then I adjust it a little bit at a time over the next two or three days so it looks good any way I style it. It takes a bit to get what you really want but it’s absolutely worth investing the time. I like that you point cut to add feathering at the end, kind of like layers, but it helps blend out any uneven areas while making it playful instead of too crisp. That’s my style too. It helps cover any choppy cuts or mistakes we might have made when doing the big chop portion of the haircut.

Twisted Minds & Sweet Tea: I really love this type of bangs(and any low/long cut bang) but everytime I've gotten them, within 15-30 mins I'm going nuts bc the hair is in my eyes and making my eyes & face itchy. I really hated it when I tied up my hair up my sides looked bald so I made my hairdresser style mine that way now it became my new identity, it's now almost frightening to look at my pre-fringes photos because I don't look myself.
