So my client jill came in looking to trim off the ends, get rid of some straggly hairs and she wanted curtain bangs that were disconnected from the rest of her hair. So the first thing i do is always cut off the perimeter. I barely take off any length just want to make sure that everything is nice and even to do the curtain bangs. I always comb it like this and then separate it where it naturally wants to separate and then create little layers that are kind of like a v shape and they are over directed. So i over direct them - and i point cut them just to give them a little bit more movement on the ends and make sure that every single piece and section is clean and neat cut off a little bit off the ends. Just to make sure her layers are nice and clean, and then i just curled them with my curling iron. That is hot tools. It'S an inch and a quarter and just left them really nice and loose on the ends.
