To me, hair means feeling confident feeling beautiful. When my hair is done, and I look my best. I feel my best. Hi, I'm Caroline and today I'm getting fringe bangs., But before you see my transformation subscribe below.. I want to get fringe bangs today, because I've always had the same exact haircut. My entire life. I've always really experimented with different hair colors, but this is basically what my hair has always looked like.. I specifically want to get kind of fringe curtain bangs.. The inspiration for this look are some of my biggest style icons, Dakota, Johnson and Alexa Chung. They've been rocking fringe bangs for so long now.. I'M definitely not worried about the bangs getting into my face.. However, I am worried about the maintenance of bangs and having to style them every day.. It'S definitely something that I'm not used to, especially in quarantine., So it will definitely be a bit of a challenge at first. Hi, I'm Daniel and I'm a cut specialist at Salon. Kazumi in Beverly Hills, California. Hi, I'm Daniel., Hi, I'm Caroline. Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you too., We're gon na do bangs on you today. Yes. The ideal candidate for bangs would differ on the type of bangs that you would want.. If you want more of a fringy curtain bangs that actually goes with any type of face shape.. But if you want more of a solid fringe like straight across, I would say if you have more of a longer face, that's more suitable for you.. It'S super important for me to make sure that my clients feel safe in the salon.. We follow guidelines so we make sure that not only are we safe, but you are as well. We're gon na go for something more French-inspired kind of more wispy. Totally. Yeah. Cool. I'M excited., Let's get started.. I am definitely anxious to see how they look like, since I've always had the same exact haircut.. It'S an idea that I've always toyed with., But today's finally, the day.. So I'm first going to establish how far back your fringe goes.. So I'm first gon na do the initial chop a little longer than what we want. It's better to work slowly up, so I'm only going to cut a little at a time. So from there. I want to layer just a tiny bit, so it gives a little bit of that movement.. Just right in between the nose is where I'm gon na. Take it a little bit shorter., I think that's so cute. And then we'll style, it. Awesome, Ready, Yep. There you go. Oh my god., I love it. Wow.. Overall, I really love the bangs.. I can't believe that they are actually on my head right now.. It definitely felt really weird to feel the hair over my eyes, especially when he was cutting them and then once they were actually complete and it stayed that way., I'm still getting a little used to it., But I know after some time that feeling will become normal.. I definitely felt really safe during the entire experience., Both Daniel and I were wearing our masks. Everything was sanitized and we definitely took extra precautions. Working with Caroline today was amazing.. I know she had some hesitation and some fears in the beginning., But I knew that she trusted me and I trusted her and the outcome was amazing.. Having a different look than I've ever had before is really exciting.. I can't wait to show all my friends and family, but it's also going to be a bit of a learning process., Even just looking into the mirror and seeing myself with bangs is so surreal right. Now..
