Hey guys, so i am coming at you with a how-to video here on my channel. I was in the midst of blowing out my fringe, and then it occurred to me that i still haven't made a video on how i style my curtain bangs, because you guys know i recently just did this. I really love them, but it's a love, hate relationship, because it's something i have to like continuously maintain and if my bangs aren't like situated, i look like a hot mess, so yeah, but nonetheless one of the main questions i always get in my dms every day Or just like in the comments in my videos or on my instagram, is how do i style my curtain bangs? To be honest, it's pretty simple, because it's not anything that i felt like was hard for me, but then again i'm pretty like savvy with my hair. I know a lot of people are not this video, i'm just gon na walk you step by step on how i do it all you basically need is a round brush. I have one here. I actually have two, which i end up using both in the video, but just a round brush will do and then a hair dryer. I actually use my dyson air wrap a lot of the time because it has it has an attachment. This is like my tool, go-to tool, especially if i'm fixing my fringe in the morning, but because not everybody has an air wrap and has something like this um. I feel like just showing you with the hair. Dryer is really easy. I hope you guys enjoyed and if you have any questions like usual, everything is going to be linked down below, also feel free to check out my instagram. If you haven't already, i also have a tick tock now dedicated to those of you who constantly tell me that i sound like kourtney kardashian. If you want to see how i style my fringe, then just keep on watching okay. So i know i look like a shark right now, but i just blew out my hair, so i was just doing some stuff on stories and i wanted to test out the color wow dreamcoat, which is um amazing, humidifying proofing powers, spray, i'm really happy. My hair is super soft to the touch. I don't know if you guys can see it, but i get so many questions about how i um dry and style. My bangs, because, let's be honest, they look great um, but they are really annoying to keep up with. I'M just using a loose um scrunchie, just to kind of put my hair back, so i can show you um, usually a lot of the times. Okay, first of all, if i ever wake up in the morning and my bangs look insane, i will just go ahead and re-wet them and restyle them, so it takes kind of a few practices to do it. But what i'm gon na do is i'm gon na wet my hair, and this is like the best like mister. You can use it for like your plants like if you have to miss the leaves or whatever i i actually got this initially, because my daughter's hair, it's so tingly that sometimes i just have to like wet it to brush it through with detangler um. I just want to make sure i get everything like wet, yeah, okay, um, and it just has like a find mist. It'S so great. I love it so much, and actually my hairstylist has this too. So that's how i knew i was doing it right. Okay, i'm gon na quickly spray this in my hair, so you use just like a sparing amount. I don't want to like douse my hair in it. To be completely honest, i use my dyson air wrap a lot um just because it has the attached brush to it. That'S like small enough, that's actually really great for my bangs, but i'm not going to use that not everybody has a dyson air wrap. So i'm just going to use a regular hair dryer. This is the t3. I don't know what it's called the t3 something i just take this section of where my bangs are at, and it's usually you can basically find it by making like a triangle at the top of your head, like that, like sectioning it off, you need to get Some sort of round brush, so this one's a little big, but it's the one i have it's from the brand called ibiza hair. I love this brush my um hairstylist, sherry. She gave this to me and i love it so much. What i basically like to do is i go from the front, so the motions before i turn on my hairdryer. What'S the matter? It'S okay, you want to go away from the face so basically like kind of like you're rubbing a motorcycle just like vroom vroom. So i go like this and i wrap my hair around it and i just pull pull pull and while i'm pulling i'm going to be putting my hair dryer and following the brush, so the brush is basically leading it. You can go in slow motions just because if you go too fast, you're not going to like dry it and you're just wasting your energy. So i would just go slowly and just kind of blow out like this, and what you're going to do is you're going to consistently just keep wrapping it so go from the back and then also go from the front one of the things that's really great too, And the way you can kind of get this like really like framed blown out shape that everyone, like kind of, looks for so when you go underneath like this, with your hair dryer. What that does is it's going to make the bangs fall in front of the face and then to also go from the back? It'S important as well and go like this and up because that's going to basically make the bangs safe forward, but also like they go out like that. So you'll see what i mean. I know it sounds really complicated, but it's really not. I should just shut up and just show you how to do this, so let's just get started, and let's do this thing if you're having a hard time like i am because this is such a big brush really getting the front of the bangs. I just will split in half like this. You can go ahead and like clip it, if you want to see how it's already starting to fall forward, that's when you know you're doing it right. Okay, let me show you what we did so far. This piece is not fully uh dried, yet see how it's just like starting to fall forward. I know it looks crazy, it's doing what we want it to do, and so what i'm going to do now is i'm going to take the little one. I hate this brush, but the size is really helpful. Also make sure your hair is parted. The way that you want it to be so like for me. I want it in the middle parting and i will start to go to the side. What i do is i'll do these, like twisting motions but twist away from the face like this, and that will kind of create the swoop of the bang. So i'm going to do it on this side, see how this one just kind of falls more in front and this one kind of opens up like a curtain. That'S that's what we're looking for! Okay! So now that that's done, i'm going to take the rest of my hair down, so you guys can really see what that did to set this as quick as possible, because i don't want this to get taken away when your hair is setting. That means your hair is just hot still. If you want to expedite the process to cool it down, i'm going to take this on the cool setting, okay, so that basically just set the style okay. So there we have, it opened up things and um yeah. So that's one thing i will say is: if you are thinking about getting this done. Thinking about cutting your hair, like this, just know that it's gon na be a process um and a lot of the times they, like, literally probably nine times out of ten. My hair does not look like this. Sometimes i feel like this look looks really nice when you have your hair back like this, and this is how i usually like if i go out for dinner or something this is kind of like my evening, look with my hair back. It just feels very, like parisian, chic kind of look and i'll just wear like big hoop earrings, which is how you guys have seen me. Do it a couple times on instagram i'll post a picture of what it looks like, but that's essentially the same technique. So just keep using your hair dryer and your round brush. I think, basically, the key is to always have a round brush. So yeah, that's pretty much it. This is my hair. What it looks like and yeah, that's that and i like how they're like long enough that if i get annoyed with them, i can just like tuck them behind my ears voila. So i hope this video was helpful for you guys. If you have any questions, you can leave them in the comments below um. I will link you know the products i used in today's video, but, like i said you don't need the exact tools that i have you can literally just improvise. I would just say make sure you have a hair dryer and a round brush and you're pretty much good to go. You can achieve it um and it takes a little while to get the hang of it, but once you do it's really like no brainer it. Just took me forever to like walk you guys through the entire steps, but you guys know i my videos are long, so it is sort of nice um, so yeah. Thank you guys so much for watching and until next time i will see you next video bye,
