How I Style My Curtain Bangs!! (W/ Hot Rollers) *✧･ﾟ❥

This headband, my hair, looks kind of weird right now, but we're gon na be fixing it today. I thought it would be cool to kind of show you how i've been styling my curtain bangs, if you missed it or if you're just new here. I recently got curtain bangs. I'Ve been trying to figure out how to style them, but the good thing about curtain bangs opposed to, like you, know the cross bangs. You can just put them behind your ears. If you don't want to style them and that's what i've been doing, because i don't know, if you know you know, if you have bangs, you definitely have to style them to wear them. You can't just like brush your hair and go, and especially with the across the forehead bangs, you have to style those with like the revlon blow dryer or like just a round brush, but on the days that i'm not lazy and i actually style my hair. I'Ve been doing something that works for me and it's really cute and pretty easy and yeah. I'M just gon na be sharing with you how i've been styling my curtain, bangs in case you're, curious or even wanting curtain bangs or you have them or you just wanted. The same style, my hair, i think i said all i needed to say so without further ado, let's get into styling my hair and i will show you things that we're going to need so to do the actual hairstyle we're going to be using hot rollers. I love hot rollers. I never thought i would be the kind of person to use hot rollers, but here i am honestly, i prefer using these over a actual barrel. Curler and i've been seeing a lot more people, use them lately and bring them back into style. I don't even know that's the correct term for curlers, but i think they're like an older thing right like an 80s or 90s thing. Don'T quote me on that, but maybe and if you were curious, i got these at ulta. There'S a conair big curls. Oh quick, big girls. I think these are like one inch or maybe like an inch and a quarter round things. I love how they're all the same size. Some curler sets come with different sizes, but i prefer all of them to be the same size, and these are like thirty dollars. I know some color sets are definitely way more expensive than that and i was not about to spend a hundred dollars on a set of curlers and i didn't even know how to use hot curlers. So if you want to, you, know, get one and learn how to use them. Definitely start with these. I will try to find the link and link them below if you're curious and those also come with curl clips to hold the uh curler in while, while it's cooling off in your hair and just for funsies and to protect my hair, i have some thermal heat Spray and some hot spray - this is kinra platinum. This is actually like for a blow dryer, but so we're gon na use it anyways, because it smells really good and this one's just a heat protectant so use a little bit of this, and i think that's pretty much all i need this is my hair that Has been just air dried, i washed it last night and let it air dry, but i did use some leave-in conditioner on it. I don't know that really matters, but that's what the only product, that's in my hair right now: okay, i'm gon na stop talking and yeah. Let'S just get into styling our hair. I'Ve got my hair sectioned off when you go to open these hot curlers. Be careful because, like the little plastic part, isn't really that hot but try not to touch the actual felt part, because that's what's like on the element that gets a hot you know. So, just let you know if you wanted to get these real, quick gon na put on my heat protectant. Is it really necessary to have two different heat protectant sprays? No, i just want to i'm trying to find good lighting. I don't know how i feel about this lighter okay, so let me see so: i'm gon na walk you through a couple of them just grabbing this and i'm definitely not an expert like i'm still learning, but i've always heard where you're supposed to make sure that This end gets tucked in so it's not sticking out and looks like a uh like a one curl or something. So you just want to make sure it's stuck in there and then you just roll it up, and i don't really know like how different it would be if you had layers or something i don't really have layers. So i don't have to worry about that. But i'm sure, if you did you just have to like, be more careful about keeping all the uh hair in there. And if you saw what i did, i just put in a little curl clip. But i need to go back and make it a little bit more secure, so hold on moving on to our second one same thing, and i'm trying to do them away from my face, especially the ones in the front. I feel like some people like to alternate their curls away from the face and towards i don't really care, i'm just trying to do the ones in the front away from the face and clip these are pretty easy. Once you get the hang of them and i clip my ear, this is so random, but last night i had a dream about leonardo dicaprio. I don't know why, like i watched a movie of his like a week ago, it was called shutter island, oh god. These are kind of hot, so be careful. Yeah, like i watched this movie a week ago, called cheddar island, and that movie was crazy. If you want to watch a movie that really effects with your head watch shutter island, it was literally on my mind for days after - and i guess leah was too because i had that dream about him. But i don't know it's crazy how your dreams can just like be so random and stuff. You don't even think about and you're like why not dream about that. Okay, first layer is down. I kind of like a cute little grandma with these rollers, oh, that one's falling hold on oh hold on i'll, be right back, it's kind of hard to properly like section off your hair, because this like falls onto a hump but we're doing it we're making the Best out of it and i'm trying okay, i still haven't learned the perfect way to do this, so i keep looking this way because i have a mirror over there. But if i move the camera over there, it's kind of dark because it's in a corner, if you wanted to know sorry, i'm kind of in the zone - and i can't see - because i think so - i'm kind of like an over sharer. So here's a little life update. I actually tried to film this video like three times now, because i've just been so emotional lately and i i don't know i hate being anxious and stuff. No, like i put my makeup on and sat down to film, this video and i just started like bawling my eyes out because it just wasn't a good day and then the other day. I sat down to film this video and i i did film it, but my eyes were all puffy because i've been crying the day before and it just wasn't a good day either, and i deleted the footage and now we're on the third time trying to film This video - and you know what i think, what's that saying: third time's the charm: oh, that was hot, we're doing. Okay so far, i think okay moving on. I think this is our last layer. I have three curlers left and i hope i can fit them here. Okay, so i went ahead and finished the top. It looks a little crazy can't really see with these in my face and it's just a little difficult, the last curl these are my bangs and we're gon na put them all in one little curler. Basically yeah you just want to have them and put them in a little curler and make sure that they're away from your face, so they can like um, be feathered out when it gets took out of the curler. Make sure i do this right. You got this. Bang you got this stay in there stay in there and yay. We got all the curlers in it looks so cute. I like a little grandma, so i think the bottom ones are definitely cooled off, but we're going to give all the other ones time to cool off, get curled, so i'm going to get something to drink and then i'll come back and we'll take them out together. Got me a coffee. This is such a lazy way to make coffee like. I have an espresso machine and i use it to make lattes and stuff, but i didn't have any milk i just had cream. So i just used the pre-bought starbucks iced coffee instead of espresso, doesn't taste as good as the espresso machine, but it's still good. So now i think it's time to take these out. They feel pretty cooled off, they're still a little bit warm, but it's fine! I'M gon na spray, some hairs right here. This i'm gon na spray, some hairspray on it just just for a little security. I don't think it really matters, because these curls are going to be such soft, like they're, not even going to be like really curls just makes it like kind of wavy and styled taking them out. They'Re kind of stuck in some places that one kind of got a little stuck so oh, but it's still really cute bouncy. I love it. Okay, yeah see that that's how it's supposed to come out. It'S not gon na stay like this, though it's gon na fall. I don't really know how to even describe what curlers do to my hair. They just kind of give it a little bit of like texture or body body body's a good word. Another curl, oh, that one just wanted to come out on its own. Very pretty curl, though, isn't there a picture of lana del rey when her hair is kind of styled like this, like it's curly up top and it has curls down here, i'm gon na try to find it wait. No, she has a flower crown on yeah. That'S that's what it is. I don't want to speak too soon, but you know how i said earlier that i've tried to film this video multiple times. Well, i'm kind of glad that you know the stars line like that and it happened because these curls are coming out way better today than they did the other day. So i don't know everything happens for a reason. You know they're so bouncy, it's time to see how the bangs turned out. This is what this whole video is about and, of course, we can always style them and fix them, but i need to calm down a little bit. You'Re really like super slope right now, but they will calm down and kind of just like fall and be curtainy and cute and wispy the more i play with it, the better they look so far. What do you think about them? I got ta kind of like brush out the curls and get them all looking natural and flowy. I love this hairstyle. You know, if i'm being honest some days, i kind of hate my curtain bangs and they get in the way and i'm like. Why did i ever do this, but then i styled them and they actually look how they're supposed to look and this whole hairstyle comes together. I love them and i don't regret them. Okay, this one turned out really good. I don't know why this one is like trying to. I don't know, i'm still in the process of training, my hair to do that, because i've had like the same hairstyle for years. Just like straight. That'S it no layers, no nothing! I just curl it or wear it straight over extensions, but i finally have a haircut that you have to kind of style to make look good and i'm learning. But overall, this is my curtain thing. This is how i've been styled. It styling styling them god. I think they look so freaking cute. I feel like i'm in the 70s, because this is a very like 70s hairstyle, but they're coming back into style. I see people all over tick, tock and youtube have curtain things, and i wanted to jump on it and i love them but yeah. I don't really know what else to say. This is my curtain bangs i'll, give you like a 360 of my hair. It'S not really layered or anything cute cute. I love how the curls turned out like like what i was saying: they're, not like super defined curls they're, just very like flowy effortless, like blowout curls.
