Faux Bang With Ponytail | Nadula Hair

Hey baby, so this is a quick look at what my hair looks like jumping right into this video. I seemed up with no doula hair, just to show you this really cute sleek natural soft ponytail. I hope you guys enjoy this. This is me just with like some hair, that was straightened and, of course I don't know about you, but if your natural, the first thing to get a little bit goofy, is always my roots, so I'm going through with my baby list Flatiron. So I'm just literally going around all of my edges. I'M not doing this in the best way, because I didn't want to kind of go in, and you know, but just enough to where I'm able to make sure that my hair is really really sleek so that I'm not having to use a lot of products which Was the goal so for you, girls, that are a little bit confused on what to do once you get that nice, silk, Dominican, blowout or silk press and you're, just like oh my hair's getting oily! What'S next, this style will definitely be for you so and if you naturally have like silky, hair or just straight hair - and you can just blow dry it and it looks really like sleek. This is awesome, so I'm gon na show you a really quick trick to kind of not really have to do the most to a ponytail, but still a giffy. Look that you're going for so now that I have my perimeter pretty much straightened. I didn't go to too crazy with it. I did make sure to kind of do the back of my hair, also so that nape area, I'm just gon na figure out the placement of my ponytail. Now this is not a top knot. This is not a low bun or anything like that. It'S just gon na be a sleek ponytail. Oh, that would be cute if you wanted to wear a hat or something like that, so I'm taking my ebone edge control. Now everybody has their own preference on what they want to use, so this is totally up to you, trial and error. The one comment I will say about eben is that it does kind of leave a little white residue if you use too much so if you do have that problem, you can always just go through and I guess kind of remove it with like a damp towel. Then, of course, let it dry so on and so forth, but again this is kind of dirty hair already, so nevertheless, I didn't have to use too too much products. Now this is optional. I did go ahead and pull out the sides of my hair. This is one of those things that girls are kind of into right now, right so having that just kind of effortless look, even though you kind of do put some effort into it, and so I just pull it out the side. You could have totally just brushed everything back, but I'm only applying this to the very tips and edges taking a small amount, I'm just to kind of smooth over all of my hair, but not so much to where it's like, concentrate it with products so where I'm Actually gon na have to like wash my hair after i remove the ponytail. The goal was to be able to wear this and then be able to take it down and maybe do another top knot, or maybe you know just different styles from this. So taking a soft brush, it's not too too soft, not too too firm just enough to where I can really smooth this ponytail up and, as you can see like I said, I'm putting it straight to the back of my head. Everybody has a different head shape. So definitely do what works for you if you're more comfortable with it being a little bit higher up. You can definitely do that lower back completely up to you. Your hair does not even have to be this length. It can be longer shorter because the bulk of this is going to be being able to use one bundle of hair and using your hair on the inside of that ponytail as the cheat to make it look a little bit thicker. So that's gon na be the most important part of this video. Like I said, I'm using the doulas hair. This is their body wave. I did get about four bundles, which is even more perfect. You don't have any ponytails. I can get away with with all four bundles okay - and I actually got this on sale so definitely make sure to click the link in my description box so that you can get the hair. It is on sale right now. We have so many freakin holidays. That'S why I love around this time of year. It'S like everything goes on so, but um yeah, so I'm just gon na kind of smooth this out and, as you can see, I have all of the hair unravel I'm actually gon na leave it doubled. If you can see here definitely make sure that you rewind that part if you need to of how to secure the base of the ponytail, I use the tip of the track, wrap it around the base of my ponytail and I literally start to wrap the doubled With around the base of my ponytail being sure to keep it at the base holding it tight, but not so tight that it starts to slide backwards, so just making sure it's at the base of the ponytail, but not too too tight and not too too loose. You want it to be secure. This is gon na, be the most effortless way to do a ponytail, because I don't have to use pins and all the clips and just a lot of stuff that just really is unnecessary and really Hertz the center of your hair. I don't know if you guys know or not, but I did a high ponytail tutorial and I gave myself a freakin boss spot due to all the tension that I use definitely we'll be giving you an update, video on what happened with that really really soon. If you guys just missed that, I did go ahead and secure the end of the ponytail. The same way that I secured the beginning of it by taking the very end of the track, and literally just wrapping it around the base continuing to wrap to cover of V, I guess hidden little tracks that would have been there at the base of it and Then I did secure that with a open, I guess: hair pin so not a bobby pin, but a hair pin. Here'S where I'm actually gon na go ahead and layer, the ponytail, because my hair is in the middle. I want to make sure that it's cohesive and that it's not like if a little bit of my hair does show it's not gon na, be like oh there. She is she's exposed right. It'S ok! You can see exactly where my hair is, if you guys do not feel comfortable doing this, please don't get some help if you need to. I do not want you to chop off your beautiful hair that you're working so hard to grow out right, so I'm just using my hair as a guide for where, to kind of start those layers. I'Ve never seen anybody layer, their ponytail. So here's this video for you, I don't know you guys, seems to really like the I guess, more Naturals type of videos when I am using like weave and extensions, and things like that so like I said there will be a lot more of these coming. I think I've said that to you a million times on a lot of different videos, but here they are so I'm gon na continue to layer. This up, I probably was cutting this, maybe for about five to ten minutes, just to really be sure that it was layer to the extent that I wanted it to be. This was a really quick ponytail like when I say quick. You saw how quick that was, and I'd literally spent the video up just a teensy tiny bit, so it was not anything too dramatic. I know you guys always ask me like. So what was the real time, so I am taking that flat iron. I actually just cut it back on to kind of heat it up. It does heat up really really quick. The hair was really soft, bouncy and full. That'S one thing that I do appreciate about new doulas hair. Like I said, I can get away with the one bundle and it not be like an issue so still taking my edge control just to kind of go around so kind of, I guess Bruce off those baby hairs. This is something you can opt-in to do, or out is totally up to you if you want more baby hair, do it if you want less, do it whatever you feel comfortable with this is up to you like you know, you got to be able to freestyle. You can't copy everything I do right anyway, if you do feel like you need to go back and put like a little bit of a care gel over the top of the baby here. Just to make sure it stays in place. Definitely do that. I think I did it, but I don't remember editing this part of, like the videos are giving you a clip of that. So sorry, now just to make sure that the hair is kind of blend it all together. The isn't my hair wasn't actually like too too poofy, but I did just lightly go through it and I'm just kind of throwing some nice little waves, slash curls, even though the hair already had a nice little like wave to it, which was totally appreciate it. I did go back in just to kind of add a little bit more about to it and also to check my lair. So I think after this I did go ahead and cut it up just a little bit more, not too too much, but just to really make sure that my hair was totally blended, which I will make sure to show you the back of that, so that you Can say like Chrissy you're, not cheating on this point, so are you look there you go, everything is covered and, like I said, the center of my ponytail definitely gave me the volume that I was looking for now, this kitchen baby. I definitely do not regret not. You know putting a lot of edge control there, so it's up to you, I'm letting that area grow out a little bit more now also this bangs. This is a part two of this video. You can totally stop here if you want, but I wanted to kind of spruce it up a little bit. So I'm taking my Vivica Fox clip on bang, you guys know she has her own little like beauty supply store a line of hair. This was about 15 dollars. Definitely reusable! Look at those clips on the back three clips straight to the point. Now, if any of you are gon na, be wondering whether or not you should, I guess, like part out some hair to kind of cover the edge of the clip. That'S something you can definitely do, but you don't have to like. I don't want you to feel pressure to do that, but I am gon na go ahead in use this time to just kind of measure out exactly where I want that clip to be, and then, of course, once you kind of set it forward or back. As far as you want it to go, definitely go ahead and start to trim it up so that you can really kind of frame out your face. I don't recommend leaving the bang, as is because everybody's forehead area is gon na, be different. You know how big or how small your forehead may be. You just really want to customize it up to you, there's really no wrong or right way to do this. Some people want it to look more French. Some people want it to look more Chinese, which is gon na, be like that Strait of cross type of look. So it's totally up to you now. This was one of those quick little hairstyles, so I did not feel the need to cover. I guess the top of that clip area. They do have a flipped over track at the top, so it's not like I was exposed. I didn't have like any track showing or anything like that, and it really did work out just fine, like literally just fine god. This is, I want you to know about all these styles or, I guess at least attempted to try it when I was back in like school, because I just feel like it would have been such less of a hassle trying to figure out what to do with My hair so easy like great protective style, so, as you can see, it literally didn't have to do much to it. Just cut a few pieces off of the edge and look at that like look at that. That'S crazy! So I'm definitely just going in just to continue to kind of fringe that up just a little bit, but this made it really really effortless and you got a quick little peek at the top of the hair. So, like I said it does not look ridiculous. I would not set y'all up like that. I promise but definitely make sure to leave comments or questions below like. Is there something different?
