Hey y'all welcome back to my channel, as you guys can see by the title and the thumbnail. Today'S video is going to be a hair tutorial. This is a curly top, not fun with a swoop. It'S my very first time creating it. So i'm very excited to be showing you guys exactly how i came up with this style. Also, i'm just very pleased with the results. If you guys want to see how cheaters look make sure to stay tuned to this video and before we get into this video, make sure to leave a like on this video subscribe to my channel turn your post notifications, so that you guys don't miss any more Uploads, including more hair tutorials in the near future and yeah if y'all, let's see how i achieve this, look, please stay tuned to this video with that being said, let's get right into the video okay, so, as you guys can see, i basically went and did some Other parts off camera, what i just decided to do is you guys can see at the front of my head is a piece of braid when it's a single braid, and that is basically where my swoop is going to be. I was having a little trouble on partners why i didn't add this in a video, but, as you guys can see now, i am basically flat ironing the perimeter of my head because i am natural, so i just feel like the best way for me to be Able to get a real sleek tight ponytail would be. It was to flatter the perimeters of my hair. You can do you can flatten your whole head, but i don't like to put too much heat on my hair, so i just decided to do the outsides got the skirts of it and that worked for me so they're, just something i like to do. This is optional. If you want to do this, or if you are natural, i definitely recommend is either using a flat iron or some type of tool or like a blow dryer or something to be able to get your hair straight because you do want to be pretty manageable. So i cut my hair a few months ago, so that's why it's extremely short compared to like how it looks in our other older videos. So basically i needed to do a i needed to do a different approach with this hairstyle. So, basically, what i'm doing i'm just sectioning my hair off a little bit less than half of my hair, i'm taking i'm just going to apply some jam. I make sure to leave all the products that i use in the description box below i'm, going to put a little bit of jam just like on the perimeters of like this section that i uh took off. Also, i'm going to be using a pick and a detangle comb very frequently throughout this video because i don't want. I want my hair to be as volumized as possible and so i'll pick and the technical does that so i'm just going to be a piling or pat my piling, but i'm just going to be taking some jam and i'm going to put that around my whole Head in order for me to really be able to gather my hair up and be able to form that ponytail, you want to make sure that, when you are applying your hair product, that you are uh, brushing it up into the uh. The way that you want. Your ponytail to go so i'll, be trying to make a like a little swoop or whatever so that it can add like a little bit extra flavor to the ponytail. So when you are adding hair products or when you are brushing or combing your hair, make sure that you are brushing and combing in direction that you want the ponytail to go. Also, i'm going to be using some gorilla snot as well one of my favorite products to use to be able to actually do a sleek ponytail. It really keeps the hair hard and plus, like you, need it to be so that you have to worry about redoing. The braid redoing the ponytail every other day or whatever, and i'm just going to take a small uh right tail comb and i'm just going to use that to really get my hair together. Yes, my ponytail looks hard because it is. I need it to be extremely hard, so i'm basically i'm just going back in with those two products, the gorilla side and the gem just so that i can get the ponytail to be exactly how i like it to be. I wanted my ponytail to be pretty high up, because i just this is what i was going for. So i made sure, like i said when i you know making sure that i'm molding it to the direction that i want it to be. Next, i'm going to be taking this edge, booster um edge, control or edge spray, or whatever it's kind of like a dupe for got to be spray. But as of what i think it is so i'm going to leave them down. Stretch box low as well and then also after i got done doing the ponytail actually putting the plum tail in my head. I used to got to be sprayed to spray around my hair just to really make that ponytail hard. Like i said, this is not something i want to have to keep doing over two days three days from now, then i'm just going to basically knock my hair. I just braided it then i just put a rubber band around it. Just so my hair wouldn't really see through the curly hair, then for the actual swoop part because, like i said, i'm natural, so my hair is very puffy. I needed to flat iron it to make it as flat as possible. So all i needed i had to do was flat iron, it i didn't really add any product like no heat protecting or nothing making sure that i just kind of section it off and really get it to be as flat as possible, because i do not want A puffy swoop that just would not look right. So that's basically, i don't know nothing really much to that and your girl is getting her inches back because i cut my hair a few months ago. Y'All and it has came a long way. So i'm excited that. I'M actually able to do a freaking ponytail, because i've been waiting for my hair to grow a little longer than it was so i could do my ponytail so now that i got it to be as flat as i wanted it to be. Now i'm basically well, actually i'm not done fluttering. I thought i was done flattering but yeah, i'm just continuing to flat iron. It like i said you just want to make sure that you're flattering as much as possible and so now i'm actually going to add some tracks. In my hair, i i decided to add tracks to my hair, because my hair is not long enough to just do on its own, so i needed to add. A couple of tracks are just like some tracks that i had from um recent. Well one of my last toys that i had so yeah. I just decided to glue it to my scalp, nothing really much to it. It'S not going to damage my hair. I don't know exactly what i'm doing so. Don'T comment me in the comments but yeah, so i just added two tracks. I didn't want it to make it too full because it's going to be sweet, anyways, i'm going to add a product on it, anyways. So two tracks was perfectly enough for me, so this is basically what i'm doing. Nothing really much too, as you guys can see in the video, and i made sure that the top layer was right, short hair, so that you guys will not see the track through. My hair to the track on top of, like my part, it just wouldn't look right. Then i'm just going to get a blow dryer and i'm going to make sure that my tracks are really secure and tight and you know really into in the scalp, because we don't need the tracks to be falling out. So we just don't need that period. Don'T try to it's too much in front of our head to be showing and to just be slipping out so yeah, that's, basically what i'm doing as you guys can see. It looks very natural. It looks like my freaking hair period and then once i got done blow drying, i basically just went in with the flat iron and i just flat ironed it because you know, like i said you wanted to be pretty flat. Then i just went back in with the glass to be spray, and i'm just using got to be sprayed to really make it hard and really make it flat. You want it to be as fast as possible. So would you use whatever products you need to use to that flattens, your hair down, i know they got to be sprayed, gorilla, glue and jam usually does the job for me when i'm trying to do sleek, ponytails or any type ponytail. So that's basically what i'm doing just using a certain amount. However, my amount. I think i need to be able to really sleep this swoop down, because it was really a struggle, because my hair really doesn't do good when it's flat iron, it's kind of hard to really get my hair flat. So that's kind of what i was basically doing. Making sure it was flat as possible, then i'm going to use the red tail comb and i'm going to use the reg tech home to really be able to form that swoop and also i was occasionally going in with the hair brush as well, because i really Really really wanted to look a certain way and it just wasn't working out for me at first, but i was able to get it eventually, uh slowly, so the curly hair that i'm going to be used today. I actually got this from the beauty supply store. Last year, like some of the best hair that i got it and i got it from the freaking beauty supply store, i'm gon na try to find it. I think i probably could find it, i'm not really sure, but if i cannot leave them down description box below, but i just got like a piece of curly hair and yeah really random and i'm just gon na wrap that around my ponytail and then that's how It looks period, and i just wrapped it around honestly - that's not the final bun that i'm just going to be shown and the end. That'S just like me, throwing it up or whatever. Then i just i just really needed to uh get that swoop down pack or whatever, so that's, basically what i'm just doing going back in one more product or whatever, making sure that it is like how i wanted to be, because i knew exactly how i wanted My swoop to be - and it wasn't coming out right for nothing at all at first, but you know you have to keep messing with it because, like i said it does take time, it took a little longer than i expected it to be expected it to take. But it ended up being worth the time so yeah after i was able to get the swoop pretty much. I just went back in with the uh curly, with the butt with the curly hair, and then i just formed it. How i wanted to form it. I wanted more of like a top knot, pretty tall, i didn't want it to be so wide, so i just did it pretty tall and skinny and it looks really really good. It looks like my hair and i just noticed that my suit was like messing up, but i fixed it before the end of the video anyways, but i really do love this hair y'all, so freaking. So much like it was really it's really good hair from the beauty supply store. I think i paid like 40 60, like two bundles, really good quality hair perfectly and then also i'm going to be using this um this cheek. It'S a wax. Stick. It'S the best way to think that i've used honestly, i love it so much. I actually use it on my wigs, but i have my wigs in my hair i'll make sure to leave the description box below it was like 7.99 at the beauty supply store. So definitely good product, if you guys are wondering or trying to find a good wax stick for your wigs or just for your sleek ponytails. Then of course the last product i'm going to be using is i got to be spray because they got debris. Spray always comes in handy when you're trying to swoop when you're trying to sleek anything down period, yes, ma'am and it looks so freaking good. I just look like a whole different person with this ponytail look like yeah and then i'm just going to do my edges. Y'All as y'all can see, i don't really have much edges, but that's fine though that's fine, because we're gon na make a song period and what i did for my edges today. I actually didn't use any edge controllers. I didn't have any available at the time, so i just went in with some jam. Jam works perfectly fine for my edges for the most part as well. I don't really do too much with the edges. This is probably the most i've ever done to my edges. Honestly, i don't really like, like all that crazy stuff, but i just did like a little three little swoops or whatever. I wanted to do something a little bit more extra that i usually do, because this was a different hairstyle for me. I don't want to just do sleep, sleep back edges. I wanted to do some. You know some extra craziness or whatever. So i think type of edges that i did you know, did pretty good or whatever came out pretty good or whatnot. So that's basically me just doing my edge just kind of spicing, my look up or whatever, because yeah period yes ma'am yeah, get into it. I play too much, but not so that's just the edge. So whatever you know not too much, not too much, not too much some little slight, a little slight action or whatever, but so now, basically i'm just kind of perfecting my bun, because i i knew exactly how i wanted to look and it wasn't giving me the Vibes that i wanted, but i eventually gotten around to it, then i'm just trying to make it look a little bit more effortless, so uh, basically yeah. I just took out some of the curly parts or whatever kind of make it look like my real hair or whatever you know, and then i just put a bunny like a little scarf around it to really make that make sure that it's sleek and stuff so Yeah, that's just the finished product period, so i took the scarf off and then the the swoop looked a lot more flat like i needed it to be, and it just looks so freaking good. I body this hairstyle period point blank yeah stop playing with me.
