Cutting My Bangs (Korean Style)

You know that way: you don't make any mistakes, hopefully hello. Everyone welcome to my bathroom. So, as you can see from the title of this video, I am cutting my bangs today, and this is something I've done before, but this time, instead of doing my usual fringe, I'm going to attempt to do the Korean peekaboo, bangs and we'll see how that goes. I also just want to be clear: I'm not a professional by any means, so this is how I do it, but that doesn't necessarily mean that's how it's supposed to be done. So take my advice with a grain of salt all right so start so usually I oh actually. First, I will always hurt my hair down the middle. The best I can so it doesn't have to be perfect, but it try to get it as close to perfect. As you can, this is necessary. So I start by picking a point usually about that much since it's going to be the see-through things, it has to be a little more sheer and then I'll make a section on a triangle shape. So that's good, okay, good! So that's our section right there and I was watching a few videos, so usually what they do is they'll. Take the outer sides out and then just focus on the center strip to get to the leg that you want to be and then you'll angle. The scissors in so we'll do that these guys can just hang tight on the sides, but I always start longer than what I eventually want to get out, because you know that way. You don't make any, hopefully, okay, pretty good. So far. Only thing is because they usually do part my hair down the middle. I'M gon na have to retrain my bangs. So this is where I get my trashcan. You can't really see it, but it's on my lap just to catch any of the tiny bits and pieces that fly out also. I always find it easiest to watch yourself in the mirror in front of you, as opposed to actually trying to look at your hair. In front of your face, that's where most people fail drastically right now, it's asleep and we're eventually just going to try it work it just below the brow. So again, just taking a little at a time. That'S pretty much good, just a few adjustments cute! Okay! So we're gon na tackle these sides, so a I'm just working a little bit at a time. We did one side mirror on the other side, all right so now we're going to start to angle it upwards into where those base are and just keep working it. A little bit at time because you can always take away, but you can't add more so always remember that that should be here whenever you're cutting in there now we're gon na take a little bit and then you're gon na put in an upward motion. Don'T just break up any harsh lines. Add some more texture back in here, I'm just gon na brush out my hair wet my brush and taking my things. Okay, so I have one of these brushes and everyone's afraid of and a hair dryer. So I'm gon na figure out how to multitask I never drunk my hair on the hot setting every seats warm or cold a little bit for selling. So let's just keep pulling out so you're rotating Hey, and then we got that nice volume. That is cute all right. I'D say that was pretty successful yeah. These are cute, so I think in retrospect, I'll just leave the sides a little longer next time. I do this, but overall I like the look so I'll call that a success, I'm just gon na have to retrain my things so that they don't want to split down the middle great thanks for watching guys.
