All right guys, let's get right into it, i'm going to show you exactly how to get the perfect curtain bang at home on your own. I believe in you, you can do it you're going to need a water bottle if your hair isn't shampooed just to break up any cowlicks or anything that's in there, because because, if you don't it will absolutely mess with what you're trying to achieve in the front Of your hair, because there's so many things going on, sometimes in the front with cowlicks and whirls, then what you're going to do, i'm going to take that hair and part it down the middle move that hair back out of the way. Now. The reason you want to do this is because you need all of this hair to kind of gauge where you want to start in the front. Okay, we're going to take that and move that out of the way where i measure is from the eyebrow okay. So, as you can see, that's the end of the eyebrow right there right, so i'm just going to go ahead and drop that hair out. So you can just put that hair back in there and i'm going to do the same thing on the other side. Move that hair out of the way and you're doing this, because a curtain bang is borderline framing your face, so you just want to make sure that you are moving all of that longer hair out of the way. So you don't compromise it okay, this is where it gets good. Now remember, i told you, the eyebrow you're, going to take your comb measure from the end of your eyebrow to the top of that part right and that's gon na gauge, where you should start with your bang: okay, you're gon na brush that hair forward. You can probably take out a little bit more of that. You can move that back same thing on this side measure with your comb from the end of the eyebrow roll it up to the top, and that's where you was part okay. Now this is the perfect measurement for any type of bang, because you're gon na have a nice and even balance overall, whether you part in the middle part on the side, you can gauge how much more hair you want to bring out the fullness the thickness, but The eyebrow is absolutely amazing, because it's going to give you that starting point in that gauge to where you know where to end and where to begin. Because what can happen is that you know some of you will cut bangs and just go in and cut it. And we really have to take into consideration that there's a foundation and there's somewhat of a rule when it comes to bangs. As far as pros do so, you just want to make sure that you are following those guidelines, because what can happen is that if you're going back too far, you'll end up with short hair back here and that just won't do anything for your haircut and see How that leaves that space in between so you're not messing with any of this hair? Okay you're going to take that middle now. This is the best blueprint guys, okay, i'm going to go in and point cut and that's my middle. We want to go back down the middle and then we want to connect. We want to slide at an angle, okay and then we're going to take this side and do the same thing now. That'S the first option: the second option, if you don't know how to do all of that, you can just comb this hair over to the side and cut it that way, but cut it at an angle, and that's going to also give you that curtain as well. So cut that side, but you want to hold it at an angle, and this is perfect, because that'll get rid of all of that mist here in the middle so to blow this out and create the curtain, bang that we want i'm gon na go in with A one and three quarter inch round vent brush. Now the beauty of the vent brush is that it gets really hot and it's able to really curl that hair back, and i like this size for this length to get a little more curl in there. You always want to blow dry the bangs back reason being because that's how you create that nice soft flowy, beautiful flowy, look! Okay! Here'S your base! You want to make sure that you are dead smack in the middle, because that's going to lift that hair and give that body at the base. Okay, don't flatten this way, because that's not going to give you the body that you want be sure to go upward! Trust me guys: this is how you get all of that beautiful volume and body in the bang and that's it for our curtain. Bang, hair tutorial today. I thank you guys so much for joining me.
