Look at that cool girl isn't that cute matchmaker matchmaker make me a match. It'S cute right, quiet get in your places. Your hair looks great, though it's time for faux fringe. You go to the salon. The hairdresser can't stop trying to talk you into a fringe. The hairdresser is me so, if you've been minding your own business and you've been riddled with the thought i need fringe, but then you're like am i gon na hate it am. I gon na like take the rest of my life to grow it out, and what i've learned is is that faux fringes are great they're, a great resource for us to find out if we can live our lives. I was minding my own business on queer eye. Um in texas, it was like season six thousand at this point just kidding, but it was like 97 000 degrees. I was like where's nick lachey, i'm just kidding, but it was really hot. So this is like a gray hairstyle, for if it's like hot, you want to get your hair off of your body, but you still want a little bit of like flirtiness around your face. I suggest a curly bow fringe when it's hot, because, if you're trying to make it straight, when your hair is curly, it's just like a sweaty clumpy mess. Okay, let's get going not to always quote rachel ray, but even the way i'm telling you this there's like a million ways to do a faux fringe, there's a million ways to prep it, i'm just showing you my way that i do it for my stunning self. I used all jv in here. I started with the complete instant recovery serum. Then i did air dry cream over the top of that, then i scrunched a little bit of nourishing shine drops through the ends, so i'm just gon na go back with a little bit of instant recovery serum to help gather my hair into the high pony. That'S going to be the basis of the faux fringe, so i'm just going to hit a bend over. Is it pretty okay? Is it is this? Yes? Is it pretty? I'M gon na take two bobby pins. Okay, so i'm putting the bobby pins on the hairband like this okay, i'm going in so i'm going to gather the curls and the reason - oh, my god, my skin looks so pretty patty. You did a great job today. So the reason i like to use this attachment is that once you put this in like it won't just like you can kind of play with this stuff more and it doesn't get so messed up. So i'm just gon na stick the hairpin in okay. Okay, did it? Oh god, oh my god, i can't be bothered with this. I'M just doing a normal ponytail, get it out. Okay, everything's, fine! Okay! I can't, when you can't see and the mirrors really far away. It is just too much much better and if you have a chunk out like this, you can just take your little thingy and just and i'm just gon na put a little get your ass in there. So now, you're, just gon na take this ponytail and you're. Just gon na twist it forward these are these cool hairpins called frenchies that are covered in felt and they really provide like amazing grip. So i just took that little hair and see that little chunk, i'm just gon na pin it in yeah. So then, basically you have this fringe and then you can use the hair pins to just like secure it. Where you want it and then, if you really want to get with it, you can put like a little scarf around your hair or like a headband or whatever or like sunglasses, but look, and then you have to commit to a fringe every time i do this. It makes me want to cut my fringe, it's so hard because look at how cute it is, can you stand it it's hard to do this on your hair and leave it straight because it's just not going to hide as well. So if you do have straighter finer hair, i would like set it on a small curling iron or like do a rag set, or i would just like set your hair curly and then do this actually to do it, you can do it straight. It is just a little harder: that's when you need like a scarf or something because you're gon na need to like really put the pins in, like the hair, won't hide it as well, when it's straight so you'll need like a little scarf to tie over it. To kind of camouflage that who else has got some some hair in here emily come over here, i'm about to give somebody a faux fringe on the fly. This is emily. Do you want a real fringe, see it happens every time someone sits in my chair? No, you get a bang, you get a bag emily. What did you do to your hair to prep it today, um, i put in some of the blow dry cream that jonathan just came out with, because i got my hands on some of that and then a little bit of the instant recovery, serum, oh and some Oil drops on my ends because they're toasted yeah, they are it's. Okay, i'm gon na do a heatless wave and see if it'll work to set her hair up for this fringe. So i just i put some instant recovery serum in it. So obviously, i'm just taking sections of her hair, i'm wrapping it up, i'm just throwing a clip in there for it to set it's not gon na be too long. The hemi sway lane absorbs really quick. We got stuck in a rainstorm, didn't we yeah and i lost my id. We were running up and down santa monica boulevard in the rain right and then i and then some guy found it and then i feel like i made out with him and he did. But he he approached us like is this you, and he was like this like and hit wasn't his name rain. It was something yeah or like he said, my name was raiden, it was raining and i was like let's make out. This is why we don't really go out and drink anymore and you could absolutely set your hair like this, like you could wash your hair at night and then let it air dry and then you could do this on your hair in the morning. Well, you could do this at night and sleep in it with like a rag. You could also take a curling iron and just curl some pieces. I accidentally did this. I did girls with smaller, like showrunner, queer eye. They like set her fringe so curly. She was like stick straight bob. She was like. What did you do? Oh i loved it. So what i'm doing is i'm just thinking here we hold this he's taking some insta recovery serum, because this will go a little faster. I put it all over the section wrap it around my fingers, i'm sitting in this diffuser and i put that little circle and those little like prongs, so curly hair is gon na absorb more product than straight hair will so basically, it's all just about dialing. It back, if you have finer straighter hair, you still want to use the heat protection. You just use a little bit less more like a pea size just on your ends. If your hair has a little bit of natural curl to it or it's a little thicker or a little longer like emily's, then you can use a little more than that. So i took like emily's entire back of her head. I detangled it. I put in some more instant cover serum and some more air dry cream and i wrapped it around three fingers and i just have that setting in the blow dryer now now, i'm gon na cold shot it for like 10 seconds and look at that. You guys so it just kind of like sets. The hair gives it some volume. I do feel like setting your hair like this, with, like instant recovery, serum and a blow dryer. It'S definitely like easier on it than a curling iron. I feel because one's like 400 degrees and one's like not 400 degrees, i don't know exactly how hot a blow dryer is, but it's not nearly as hot as like a hot ass, curling iron. So now i'm just taking these little things out and you can see how it gives you such a nice texture and i barely put any heat on these ones. Basically, what we did here is we demonstrated several techniques for um using instant recovery serum to make the hair a little wavier to give it some texture. I actually used instant recovery, serum and air dry cream, and then i set the hair in different ways. I did one curling iron piece and then got lazy and stopped, but that's such pretty texture. We got out of that. I'M just gon na take her hair and i'm gon na gather it on top of her head. Oh god, sorry gather, gather, gather and i'm gon na take a little bit more instant recovery. Serum i put on the back of my hand, i'm just gon na take that from the back of my hand and put it into her hairline to control the section and you could use air dry cream or instant recovery serum for this and the recovery serum is Going to give you a little bit less hold, but i feel like i don't - really need a ton of hold okay just going to put this on top of her head now for her, because her hair is a little bit more. I'M gon na tease it a little bit and then that's it so again, you're just going to twist it for you. It might need to go like. Oh, yes, i'm going to wrap it around itself, so i'm just pinning her in with these cool clips. Still so now that we kind of have that doing something, i'm just gon na take this curling iron and i'm just gon na like bend this end a little no it'll be good. It'S gon na be cute. It'S gon na be crazy, no it'll be fine. Emily was my first assistant. We met right on craigslist, we did meet up with this. It'S true. Can you believe this we met on craigslist. It was a different time. I posted a help, wanted to add on there or something and emily sent me a picture of her tits, and i was like emily. No, that didn't really happen. Now i'm just going to take this little comb cute and i'm just kind of figuring out where i want it to live, and then what she can do is she can take these glasses and she can just put them right over ugh she's, a cool girl. Look at this cool girl. Look at that cool girl. Isn'T that cute a matchmaker matchmaker make me a match. It'S cute right, very cute. It really is a good thing to do to see if you can even like stand having fringe in your face, see what it would feel like like, because you might not like it, and it's good to just test it out and see. If you can stand having the hair in your face, i think you look cute with a fringe feel your fringe fantasy, i'm not mad at it. Are we pretty yeah faux fringe? Everyone got one, it's really cute, it's fun, it's easy! Do it in your bathroom and here's the thing: don't do this right before a really important event for the first time always try it out once if it turns out like it's just like trying to cook at home, and then it doesn't turn out. You got ta order, pizza, it's fine, you just like take it down or you do a little bun if it turns out crazy. But this is kind of cute. We love you bye, foreign
