Hello welcome back today, just a quick video. I say that, but we all know it's probably gon na be about 20 minutes long. I recently caught in a fringe. I have a curtain fringe or curtain bangs situation happening now, and so many of you requested on my Instagram that I do tutorial, showing you how to style them now disclaimer. I have no clue what I'm doing when it comes to hair, but my hairdresser, the amazing Rory, who works at Elements, Aveda salon and Paddington in case anybody's curious. He is amazing and he showed me a little trick for how to get curtain bangs to sit right, because I've had curtain bangs in the past and they just never looked. They just never looked how I wanted them to look, and I think it's just I've never been styling them properly. So I feel like I've kind of gotten the hang of it now, so I am going to pass this information on to you. Hopefully I do a half decent job, so I've already washed and conditioned my hair. I'Ve had it in this little turban towel for about half an hour. These things off. These things are sorry, I dropped it. These things are amazing. This one is from aqueous aqueous aqueous. My hair is less frizzy when I use them I'll do my makeup. While I have my hair up on one of them, so it has about a good like 20 minutes, 15-20 minutes to dryness, and it takes most of the moisturize. And just I feel like my hair is a lot silkier after I use it, and it's great for just keeping your hair out of your face, while you're doing your makeup. So I think what you will need is a hairdryer and you will also need a kind of smallish barrel brush. That'S for styling, the actual fringe optional, to have lots of hairs dangling off of it, and I use a larger barrel brush for styling. The actual hair base of my hair and most definitely you'll need some dry shampoo. I don't think it's possible to have a fringe and not use dry. Shampoo, oh and you'll also need some kind of a normal hair brush too. So I'm just gon na part. My hair in the middle now I know a lot of you are wondering what is going on with this, so I naturally have a bit of a widow's peak. It'S a weird one. It'S like my hairline is perfectly straight the whole way, and then I just have this tiny little triangle of hair that grows in here and for the longest time I've been shaving it off, but one day I was a little overzealous with it and I went back Too far - and I kind of gave myself a fivehead, my forehead ended up looking enormous, so I'm slowly trying to grow it back in, and this is the situation we have at the moment. It'S not very good to push the fringe kind of covers it off. The first thing I usually do is just take the majority of the wetness out of my hair. Now my hair is about I'd, say it's about 50 percent dry already, so I'm just gon na give it a quick blast with the hairdryer, and I have found that if I put my hair dryer, not full speed like 75 % speed and 75 % he's they're, Not on the full of heat setting, I feel like I have more control over how quickly I'm drying my hair. So here we go all right there. We go you don't with the fringe to get to dry. Otherwise, it's not gon na hold the style. So I just kind of put my hair behind my ears and pull the fringe bit forward onto my face, and first thing: I'm going to do is blow dry, my hair, in the opposite direction. I want it to sit so I'm going to blow-dry this side in this direction and then this side in this direction and that kind of helps it sit more in the middle all right now, pop it back in the middle. Now, here's the trick: here's how you get it to sit like like curtains, so with your right hand, on your right side, you want to take that half of the hair and kind of curl it around the brush, like this you're kind of twisting the brush, so That the hair is caught inside of this and you're gon na pull it across your face like this, while you're blow-drying it there we go, we want to do it a couple of times just pulling it across and you see you see. Look it does that, like. Oh right, okay, it looks crazy now, but that's what we want and then we do the same on the other side. No see so. Hair looks bananas, but this is. This is good. This is exactly what we want, so I'm gon na leave it like that. For a second I'm gon na, let it kind of cool down for a second, so it's sex into that shape. I'M gon na dry the rest of my hair - that's probably set for enough, so I'm going to just blast it with the hairdryer and then you want to just kind of pull it into position. Can you see it just kind of sits on side taking a second to just work it and it's a bit bang see now, but once it settles once it's kind of cool down and settled it, it looks pretty cool. We see it just sits into that. Really! Nice, like shape, I feel like the worst thing you can do with fringes, is overwork them, so I never ever go near them with my straighteners, because if I try and create that shape with my straighteners, I just end up with like a ski slope. It needs to be like a relaxed Bend and I can own. I can only achieve that with a hairdryer. I don't know if you're more skilled at your hair than me. Maybe you can do with a straightener, but I certainly can't I feel, like the less faff. The better and then I'll, just pop some dry shampoo in so I have such a skin, feel like not only does the dry shampoo help to stop it from getting disgusting the oily and stringy. It also makes it stick better because it gives it that fat, a texture, that's it it's breathable, so I'm gon na finish, blow-drying the rest of my hair, I'm just like I'm not gon na fire out too much, I'm just gon na give it a bit of A blow dry with this big brush and that's pretty much it as I said, as it kind of settles and the heat comes out of it, it does tend to look a bit more like effortless and cool. It doesn't look so styled yeah, that's it! It'S really really simple and quick, and I hope that you learned something new. If you did, please give the video a thumbs up, don't forget to subscribe to my channel. Thank you. So much for watching and I'll see you very soon. Bye,
