Hello, everybody today, I am doing a style that I did many many years ago. Kind of this is a different take on bumper bangs, with victory rolls these victory rolls are actually hidden. So it looks like one piece: instead of looking like a bumper and separate victory rolls, so it's just a little bit more user friendly and that's all I have to say really about this one. Let'S get started. Okay, so just start with, we are going to park all right here. Oh my gosh, I shouldn't have worn lip gloss. My hair is already sticking my lips okay, so I am just going to do a u-shaped part. Just like I do most of my dues and then I'm going to tie this little bit of hair up. Then I'm going to point this side, so I'm just gon na start right at the point of my ear and I'm gon na go right up to where that you shape ends, and if your hair is a little bit finer, you can definitely pull this part back. A little bit and I'm going to these so I'm basically just parting, all three sections and then painting them up out of the way. So now I'm going to take my 3/4 inch curling iron and I'm just gon na curl it back in my hair and then pin it all just like I do every other vintage style, okay. So once all of the curls are in I'm going to take these two sections down just to kind of get them out of my way and I'm just gon na pin them. So I'm gon na look real cute, so this is a rat. You can get them at Beauty, Supply stores. This is one that snaps, but you can also get the ones that are a bun like this they'll come just like that, and then you could just cut it if you do not have enough hair in the front of your head. If your hair is fine or short or you're, growing out, bangs use a clip, in extension, I'm just gon na brush it and I'm going to clip it in and this red. So it's basically I don't look like this. Then I'm just gon na roll the wrap and roll the hair around it. So this is going to help to cover up that rat. If you don't have enough hair to cover it with your own hair and once you've wrapped it just give it a little pin into that brat. So it stays in place and the good thing with these rats is, you can pin right into a mineral hide it. So now I'm going to take my hair and I do my bangs going out, so my hair is kind of short, so I'm gon na give it a little tease underneath just to thicken it up a little bit. So it really covers that right. Then I'm going to take my lady lip pomade and I'm just going to use a little bit on my fingertips just to smooth here so that the top of this is really smooth. Then I'm gon na start rolling so make sure it's centered and hold it as tight as you can, while you're rolling. So once it's rolled up to my head, going against the rest of my hair, you might need a couple on a session of your hair. Is fine, it'll probably take a couple days secure in there. So now I'm gon na take the hair and I'm just gon na pull it along the sprat just spread it out and as I pull the hair, I'm gon na pin it into place under here. So the good thing about this style is that you don't really have to worry about these poking out, because the rolls are gon na hide that so this is kind of a dummy, friendly style. So now I'm going to take my hairspray and I'm just gon na spray so that it stays in place and it might take you a few rolls to get it smooth enough if you feel like there's a lot of flyaways re-roll it okay. So now I'm gon na do my rolls on this side, and I'm going to do these just like normal picture rolls it's gon na tease section by section and make sure you have really good tees. So these have really good structure and then a little bit of wax. Again, I don't know if you guys it is raining outside now, I'm going to smooth just be careful when you're smoothing that you don't grab any of the hair from your bumper and then I'm going to spray. So now I'm going to roll this. Just like I roll a victory roll just around my fingers, then when I get it down to the bumper I'm going to conceal the roll on top of the bumper, so it basically goes downward instead of being out this way, you're concealing the bumper and you're not Able to see that it's two separate pieces and if you have a hard time getting the hair to sort of stay in this roll, you can definitely curl it as well. My hair's already curled. So that's the reason why I didn't do it today. Okay, now I'm going to take out the pins in the back of my hair and if you want you can just tie in the back of your hair into a Gibson roll you're a little bit pressed for time. You don't have to curl the back or you can curl it if you want something a little bit more finished. So now I'm going to take my brush and just brush through these curls sentiment of my teasing brush and I'm just gon na tease the bottoms so that they'd form this sort of nice shape and it gives the bottom some volume so that the top doesn't have. So there you have it bumper bangs, with victory rolls, even though you can't tell their victory rolls. This is a half the half down dude. This is actually a very, very easy style to do once you've mastered at the bumper again. I can't stress enough, if you do have extensions wrap them around the bumper, because it really helps to cover up the bumper and you don't have to do as much work to spread your hair when you the final roll. So that is it. I hope you like this. If you want to see any more in vintage hairstyles, please leave your suggestions in the comments below. Thank you guys for watching and I'll see you next time. Maryssa.Carrillo: This hair..this make up..this everything! I'm feeling and loving it all! The color looks amazing on you!

T.E Mac: Splendid! I was getting a little bored doing the same vintage styles. This is lovely. The Gibson roll idea is a terrific answer for what to do with shorter hair in the back. Thanks!

mammamiaitalia43: I really enjoyed this tutorial. I'm going to try my first bumper curl today. Can't wait.

annette Y: Cute and easy!! Love it

Danielle Purvis: Love it!! Cant wait to try it on my own. ❤

Sarah Montana: Holy smokes. You made this look super easy (but yes I know- you’ve had years of practice!) (I’ve been following you since LIVEJOURNAL!) ok. I’m gonna go practice this now. Thanks for sharing Cherry!!! ❤️

afhudson0105: This whole look is cute!! 2 questions; could you do a tut for this make up look and could you (if you haven't) do a "Get Ready With Me" video? <3 blessings and light

Longhairbear: I;m a guy, so obviously not doing my hair with bumper rolls. But I have always been fascinated with the hairstyle Leslie Gore (my personal fave) did her flip hairstyle in the 1960's, circa the time she appeared on album covers, and The TAMI Show. Also her singing Lollipos and Rainbows on a bus in the movie Ski Weekend with Frankie Avalon.

Valeri Oliva: Perfect! I love bumper bangs

Diana Hidrogo: I have so little hair and so thin that this style is impossible in me, I'm struggling a lot to find hairstyles that adapt to the small amount of hair that I have I appreciate the advice for people with little or very thin hair really makes life easier

LadySoutcotten: Can't believe I never thought of wrapping the rat with a clip in! Genius!

JohnMills 34: Ty for this vid! I was just looking up info on doing bumper bangs this morning!

Ambee Honeykissed: Hi, thank you for the tutorial @cherrydollface . What size rollers did you use ?

amber fester: Great tutorial! Thanks

Diana O: You should make an updated video of going to Viva! I heard quiet a few things have changed since your last one. Love watching your videos!

phreectube: my bff does vintage styles, and sent me here; i have a much better idea now of what she means when she's telling me about her bumpers, LOL!! THANK YOU!! :D one note, though...for the sake of those learning, and maybe even those just curious about how YOU finish...even if it isn't the point of the lesson, please show us the BACK of your hair (at least a little) in the video :) hearing you tell what you are doing is much different than seeing it, and even if it's just a glance, it can be so helpful visualizing the whole look! that said, i've enjoyed the few videos i've watched so far; you do a great job! :)

Ruben Martinez: Amazing

florence cavallaro: how do you do the bobby pin hair set over night??my grandmother set her hair in bobby pins only<>truth<>

Dawn Donnelly: Where did you get that hair piece? I can’t seem to find one like that anywhere.

Andrea Wright: Where do you get the wax? I can't find it anywhere in Washington state.

Heidi Hernandez: Who else is here from jennas channel

samantha taylor: Lucy arnez
