Okay, so I did it you guys. I took the plunge and I cut bangs and I will say as much as I'm loving them now. There were a couple days there in the beginning where it was a little touch-and-go. I had some minor meltdowns, but the only reason I had these meltdowns was because I had no clue how to actually style. My bangs, like I didn't own a round brush, did I need a clippie. Should I need certain products? Do I just let them air drives? Did I need to go to a stylist to have them teach me: do I use a curling iron? Do I use a flat iron josè? There were so many questions that I didn't know and after some practice, which I will say practice makes perfect. I finally figured out how to avoid those meltdowns and perfectly style, my bangs and all you, girls that have bangs. I know you've probably suffered a meltdown in so here you go the quickest and easiest way to style your new thing, but before we get started on this tutorial, here are a couple products and tools that I use to style. My mace first you're going to need some sort of clip I like to use these metal ones because they really help me separate my bangs from the rest of my hair when I'm trying to find my part. Secondly, you'll need some sort of round brush. I picked this one up at Ulta. I liked that it was metal, so I knew it would heat up when I was using my blow-dryer with it and honestly it was called the bang brush so that pretty much told me and as far as products are concerned, you'll need your favorite hairspray, along with Some sort of texturizing spray - I really love the one by or Bay because it really helps my hair, get that PC texture that I like and obviously your blow dryer. Okay. So the first step I have parted out all of my hair. I'Ve dried all of my hair, pulled it back into a ponytail and then parted out my wet bang. So this is all the banks and I even leave out some of these little side pieces because you're going to want them to blend well with the longer pieces that are on the corners so start with your blow dryer and dry out some of the excess wetness. That'S in your hair, I do it on low, so it doesn't get too dry too quickly and just kind of run. Your fingers through it to get out some of that extra moisture when your bangs are about I'd say, like 50 % dry start with the corner. You'Re going to take your round brush, I picked this one up at Ulta. It was actually called a bang brush, which is why I got it. I didn't have a round brush before bang and you're going to want to go backwards with your blow dryer and curl them backward okay and then you'll repeat on the other side. Okay, once your corners are dry, I part out the top path of my bangs and clip them back and do the bottom half first. This, I think, gives you a little extra volume. You don't want too much body in though, because then they're going to look like kind of bouncy and weird, but you want them to have just enough so that they don't go flat during the day and those pieces on the edges still make sure they keep going Back versus prone straight down, okay, that looks good and then we're going to grab in second, the reason I don't do it all together, if you guys feel like it makes it look too flat against my forehead so doing it in sections kind of gives you a Little extra volume area I make it look so easy at the salon, don't they and then keep curl in those edges? Those edges are the part that can make or break your veins. I think. Okay, now I just kind of play with them and see what they want to do like some days. They want to go to the left some days. They want to go to the right some days. They want to go straight down. You just got to kind of show them what you're working with and then I give them just one last blast just keep those pieces in place. Let them know who's boss. This, I think, is the key. I don't like them to be with thee. I think whisky makes me look like a 12 year old. I wanted to be more PC, so I'm going to grab some of my orb, a dried texturising spray and I'm going to spray it just right in there, and this is really going to help get some texture and just kind of scratched it in with your fingers. Okay, it's going to look wack brush it through and then I feel like the heat kind of activates the products a little bit more and I give it one more blast with the product in and they're going to look literally crazy, like you put your finger in A light socket until they find their rhythm and then you just fit a little fiddle fiddle fiddle fiddle dee until you find, where they're going to lay and what they're going to do. You'Re going to kind of want to grab some of the pieces and kind of make them a little piece here. Oh yeah, I'm liking what's happening, going to set it with my Tresemme hairspray and then I really kind of like work. The hairspray into those pieces that I want to kind of like really be peasy. Oh yeah, oh yeah, I'm liking what is happening. I like those long corners on the edges. Some people - don't, I think they really help frame your face, especially if you don't have a naturally round face. I have a really long day, so I asked my stylist to cut those corners, not cut the corners but cut and I'll kind of go their own way throughout the day and just lemon. Let them do this thing before you cut them in the first place right so, as you can see, I'm still creative getting the hang of this whole bang thing and how to style them and all the perfect tips and tricks. But hopefully, what I have learned is going to help prevent you from your next Fang meltdown for more of my currently videos, including beauty, haul.
