Everyone welcome to a vintage vanity, so today's hair tutorial is this look, and it's also this look that was requested on my Facebook page by Jesse, and that was the Betty Grable curly pho bang look and I will place a link in the description to the photo That inspired this look so face again Jesse for requesting it so hope you all enjoy the interactivity of this hair tutorial and I'm thrilled with the way this one turned out. So I rolled everything up in my half inch foam rollers as an overnight wet, set everything I basically used. Oh my half-inch rollers single one of us is my air right now, because we want to get as much curl as possible. So what I did is for the top section. I divided it into two rows of three or three rows of two. However, you like to think about um, and what I did is I roll these forward these back these forward, because I didn't want to roll the top in all the same direction, because I didn't want it to form one big curl. I wanted it to make sure it states separate curls, so that's the best way to do it is in alternating directions, the rest of the hair I just rolled completely under and let me just turn around so you can see I packed as many curlers in to Her as possible, I'm gon na go ahead and let it down mmm. Now, when you do this, you are going to get a little orphan annie. Look, it is going to be crazy and then this is going to be scary. Looking but don't worry, that's exactly what you want everything's all down, so we're just going to place our fingers into the curls and just give them a good shake. A Vintage Vanity: Humidity is a tricky one. Do not set your hair until it is practically dry, if doing pincurls just wet the very ends to make sure they wrap up nice. Experiment with different setting lotions or curl enhancing lotions to find one that gives good hold but not a lot of crunch. I've been using a gel (Kenra classic firm hold gel) which seems to work better for my hair than the classic setting lotions. Also get yourself a good pomade. I would say try Aveda Brilliant Anti-Humectant Pomade.
