Oh, my goodness, guys, hello, my loves long time, no hair content, but i'm back. This is a 90s inspired hairstyle, it's actually a ball ponytail. I took this picture sometime last year december and you got so much love on instagram youtube. You guys wanted to tutorial. So i'm here to deliver that. Basically, this is just like your go-to hairstyle in between braids you're, just trying to style your natural hair. This is your guy, so yeah, without talking too much, let's just get right into the video okay, so guys before i start i'm going to show you the products you actually need to achieve this hairstyle. So obviously, you need gel and in this video i'm going to be using eco style gel and what i'm pro style, ampere style gel. This is less effective, but i'm just using this because, like my ecosystem is like literally almost empty, so we're just going to mix it then you're going to need hair wax. This is honestly just to hold it. You will get there then shin spray. This is honestly, not extremely important, but i just like to you know give it that last spray, then obviously you need your weave brush actual comb, a tail comb and this brush. You know slick it down this, then next you're going to need bobby pins. Obviously, for the weave you're going to need hair pack, i would recommend black hair pack, but i have navy blue this navy blue, but like this will work as well, just something dark and obviously the big guy. We are going to need our weave, i'm not using like an actual ponytail. This is actually a weave and i got this from like a week. I had at one point i was like extremely full, so yeah. This is just what it looks like it's honestly. So nice - and this is what i use so yeah - let's start okay guys, so first step is to cut out like the leave out, because this is the last thing you're going to be working with. So you should just get this out of the way it depends on how full you want it to be or, like i feel like this is fair and it's not fine we're just going to work with it. Anyways guys, disclaimer, please, construction is going on. So if you do hear any background noise, please bear with me. They are honestly pissing me off at this point, but there's honestly nothing i can do but anyways yeah. I will just pin this down right here and okay, so now moving on to the actual hair. So what i like to do is, i would pack the hair before i try to you, know, get it like slick down, i'd like to know what vibe i'm going for since this is like a you know, a ball ponytail. I think i want my ponytail. Let'S see here should i take it down a bit here. This place is fine. I think this is fine, so i will just pack it here: okay, so we're just going to try to get it like extremely sleek. I think i should start with this gel. Actually, since this is a less effective gel, so we're just going to take take as much as you can, because babes this needs like actually doesn't need that much gel to be fair, since my hair is like stretched out next we're just going in with like hair Wax i will use eco styling gel for my edges, because this is just way better. I like to blow dry my actual hair, because in the end, it's still like really wet, because it's like a water-based gel, so i just like to put a scarf on it. So what i just do is i just try to like weave it this. This is the vibe. Now we're moving to the big guy. This guy came out pretty fast, but yeah. Let'S see the wave is like really really long so now you guys need to pay attention so you're, going to take one bobby pin need you to come out good. So what you do this bobby pin goes in here i mean there are different types of ponytail. If you have like an actual ponytail that you just probably keep it like, that's also fine, so that means all you just need is to just you know, put the whole thing, but you just do this. So what i do is i put this like in here. Like this, i just put it in so i start rolling the ponytail around my head. Okay, now i put this thing wrong hold on. You have to try to get everything to like the middle part directly under the bone directly on top of the bone. So now this is the stressful part, because you have to like keep rolling it around your head and you have to be really careful, because if you miss one point you have to start from the beginning: okay, guys, i'm finally done with that. So this is what we have here, so you're going to take another bobby pin and now this is the tricky part, and i honestly love the fact that this ended at the back ponytail. I love this part and like here so it's going under here, so you're going to use this bobby, pin to kind of like hold it in place, but don't forget you have to get your bobby pin to be directly under the bone, so it doesn't show. This is the ponytail thing here, so when you put it here, this one just goes like this here: okay, so now it's there in place, okay, so this is the vibe, i'm honestly loving it right now. I can't wait to see the finished results. I honestly forgot how much i love this hairstyle next step is to take out hair from the back, don't take from the front, so it doesn't look tacky, then you're trying to cover up this face. So this doesn't show the whole. You know adding up doesn't show. So now you need another bobby pin. Okay, so now we have our bobby pin the same way. I did that other one is see me i'll. Do this one so we're just going to like hold it down at the back, so yeah so yeah. This is the vibe, so now this part is covered. Can you guys see it's coming together so now, moving on to the next step, which is straightening the ponytail, which is honestly the hardest part for me, so you have to take like this much just comb. It out i'm using this cloud nice straight now, which is honestly so hot. This straight now gets extremely hot, so you just take it down then, towards the end. You curl it out like this. Oh, my goodness guys did you guys just see that? No, can you guys see this? No, this is so beautiful. Oh, it is okay. So, with this one out of the way you just take the next one, okay, so guys next step, we are going to be working with this leave out in front okay. So next thing we're going to use heat protectant guys do not forget to use his protector. This is honestly so important. I'M just use this much to be fair guys. This straightener is so freaking hot wow like see it's relaxed guys. This is the final look. I honestly love it so much like this honestly just brings out my face this, but i think i just need to perfect like the curls, so i think i need to like go in with the curls. First then, leave it in like those pins like when you're walking with like a weave before i come then do my makeup and then let it out so that'll make like the curls stay longer. But this you guys get the concept of the hair and like how to get the hair done. It'S honestly so easy like when you actually have the hang of it like you know what you're doing trust me. It'S very straightforward for the only thing, i'll, probably just stretch you out, it's just like curling the hair, like that's just it's, but this is the vibe it's giving 90s it's giving pinterest babe it's giving everything it needs to give to the fair yeah.
