How To Perfectly Define & Style Your Curly Wig With Bangs | Curls Curls

I don't know i like this hair without product in it, but i'll just put very, very small, like a pea-sized amount per section, so that it can have a little bit of weight to it. Hi everyone today, i'm going to show you how i wear my curly wig with bangs and wigs with bangs are ideal for protective styling, because you don't have to fumble with got to be glued. You don't have to deal with your hair being a mess. Okay, because the glue caking up and the gels and all of that extra stuff that you put on there makeup, it's just not great for hair hygiene, so this is ideal for protective styling and the star of today's video is sponsored by curls curls. You is how i style it when i'm in a rush versus when i have time - and hopefully this can help somebody who wants a little bit more versatility when dealing with wigs like this. So let's get started. I have extra combs and i hope i didn't lose them because i just thought of a project to do anyway. I'M using pureology, shampoo and conditioner. I got these as samples from either ulta or sephora they're. Okay, nothing special, but they do do the job. And that's all i care about the best thing about wigs that don't have lace or clips. Is you don't have to worry about damaging anything you can just wash in peace? The hair is easy to rake my fingers through, and i am so glad it's time to condition and now that i'm looking at this clip, i should have probably just left the conditioner in it melted nicely into the hair, but i just used it to easily detangle The hair with my brush - and usually i do this outside of the bathroom on the mannequin, but i just didn't feel like wasting time just brush it and be done with it and just let it dry. We don't see too many of these these days, but it is a full wig. There is no lace at all, but you have a breathable cap and in the back, there's a nice little comfort, tab, a comb and of course i have my elastic band, which is adjustable on the sides. I have two combs and i'm gon na cut those out. Not right now, because it's early in the morning, it's like four something and i have to go to work so in the front they just sewed it in a circle to close it. I have not done this in years guys, maybe like eight years since i last made a wig like this - is crazy. Just looking at an old school wig, okay, it was 4. 52 am usually i wake up at 5 a.m. To go to work - and i have a little bit of extra time to do my hair. But really i don't have that much time, because i'm gon na have to do my hair and then get the food ready and all of that extra stuff. So hopefully, by 5 30 i'm done done, but when i'm in a rush, if i just woke up, i just had enough time to shower and just barely pack my food and go. What i do is i'm first gon na take off this wig, because this wig needs to go what i'm gon na show. You is perfect for when you're, in a rush or when your wig needs a bath, and it's been a while, okay, so uh yeah. I think i really like how this is looking right now separate any hair, that's kind of like clumped together, because most of the hair right now is frizzy. It hasn't been defined. It'S been forever just picture this, it's been a while, since you defined the hair okay, so anything that doesn't look like the others separate, so that everything can kind of blend together nicely. One thing you have to realize about natural hair is well, everybody knows this, but because our hair is kind of shrunken, you can't lay your bangs flat. You have to dimension, no lies yeah. I was going somewhere with this, but you have to add dimension. So it's kind of like you have to go like this with your bangs, so that it goes with the fro and there you have your hair. Okay, we are ready to go kinda, you know, i'm just rushing and going through the motions with you. Of course, when you do this, you're gon na need to need to make sure the back looks good and all of that, but generally that's what to do like if you're, in a rush. Now this took me like four minutes, guys four minutes to just do this. Stick it on fluff it and be done okay, but what you can also do, especially if you want to keep your hair out of your face. Maybe it's a little bit dirty and you don't want it touching your face because you might break out, is you can just go ahead and clip your hair back grab a scarf or a headband of some sort, um all right! This is what i'll do. If i want my hair out of my face for whatever reason for me, that would be because i break out easily so having it out of my face is a good thing, especially if there's product on the hair and also for working out for those of you Who do exercise? This is a viable option and it's so much more comfortable than a headband wig, because you're not fumbling with those straps and the velcro, and all of that you just put this on it's lightweight compared to a headband wig and it's just better. Okay, i'm just saying you know, get a full wig instead of a headband wig as much as i want to wear this like this to work, i still have like 15 more minutes, so what i'm gon na do is just show you guys how to define your Hair, i know i stretch my hair with thread a lot, but when i do wear my natural hair in its natural state, i like it fluffy. I don't like doing too much with curl definition. It just doesn't appeal to me at all. I have water in here. It should be warm, but it's not stretch it out, really stretch it out. Okay and then grab your detangling brush. This is amazing. It'S from from intuition, and i love it. I was looking for cheap detangling brushes anything under twenty dollars, and i got this one, and i know it sounds crazy, like under 20, is cheap yeah. Have you seen how expensive some of these brushes are all right, but this is amazing. I always said i was gon na have trouble finding a new brush after my maven paddle brush, and i think i found the one really i don't feel like. I need products but um. I feel like that would delay me, but this is the pattern: beauty, leave-in conditioner. Okay, so i've been doing this for 11 minutes only and when just doing your hair just like slide it back. If the bang is a little bit too long right now and you can slide it forward when the hair dries. So that way, you can just be on your way. You know wash and go literally wash and go go where you have to go. Okay - and this is nice, like this - is great. It'S gon na dry beautifully and now i can see where they're like stray hairs that are not with the rest of the wig like right here. I need to cut that and yeah everything is good. The hair looks perfectly defined. Let'S go all right, so i'm just neatening up any hairs that are way out of bounds any outliers, and this is what we look like early in the morning. It'S going to dry and fluff up as time goes on and because i used very little product. It'S going to look nice and fluffy, but still a little bit defined. So what i'll do is when i come back home from work, i will show you what my hair looks like. Okay, i'm back, and this is how much hair i lost. Let'S just take it out, and this is what my hair is looking like after drying after a long day, it looks really cute. I do feel like i need to thin out the bangs a little bit more and i can define the hair a bit more. What i'll do is use like a styling cream and a mousse, so i can show you guys how it can get super defined for those of you who love definition. I want to be able to see through the bangs. Okay, that's good for now and what i'll do is go ahead and define my hair and then i'll show you guys tomorrow what it looks like. I was at the grocery store today and the lady stopped me and told me: she really loved my hair and i am 100 with her on that sentiment, because this definition is amazing, i'm not even really a definition type person. Yes, i do like doing roller sets that are super defined, but when it comes to my hair, i just like it poof, you know, but yeah. This is really good. Looking i used my buttercream hydrator by entwine, as well as my lotta body mousse. To get this look, and it is time consuming. It took like 20 minutes to do this part and then, of course, drying depends on whether or not you use a diffuser. If you let it air dry, it will dry. You know within 16 to 24 hours, but if you use a diffuser, it's gon na be like 20 more minutes. It all depends on how much time you have. There are a lot of options, and this actually is gon na last for a long time, because this is day two with the more defined looks. You can get a good five to seven days out of them before they start to look bad and then you have to reactivate with like water or mousse. You know you don't really have to do the whole process over, but then, of course, when you wash your hair, you're gon na have to do the whole process over. So that's all there is for this video.
