C L I C K H E R E !

So this was the very wig that I have created, and it is not that bad overall. It is not perfect to say the least, but I think it works because the hair is so dark. I should not have put all the effort in the back of the, and I should have worried more on the front and top part. Also, the way I created the wefts were not the greatest. I will try a different approach next time. I still hope that you guys find this helpful in any way :D

Materials right below:

Saran Hair

Glue

Fabric

Saran Wrap

Scissors

Hair from Dollyhair.com

So for this video I will show you guys how I made he not his wig, a song here. You have Raven Queen with no hair. She is currently bald because I want to model the wig after her head. She has the original ever after high head. So it's a lot wider and bigger. So for the wig cap you are going. What I'm going to use is mom saran wrap, so you just have a plastic to protect the doll, an old t-shirt or rag or whatever that's pretty thin, that you can layer and also Mod Podge. First, I'm going to go ahead and wrap her head around. You can honestly use any plastic, but I just want to use this, so I can actually see the doll and Raven next I'm going to go ahead and take an old fabric. So I have this t-shirt over here. That'S really thin you'll almost see through it. We'Re gon na cover her head, like this I'll cut it up, and then so yeah we're going to use this and then put glue on it and keep layering the glue, and this is actually going to be our weekend. You you, after that, go ahead and take the Mod Podge and we're just gon na make this wig this wig cap a little harder, so I'm gon na try and layer this three times. This is my second time until we get a really really hard cap for the wig all right, so I just finished with her wig cap over here. If you guys can see this and as you guys can see, I just cut off the entire thing and made a shape for the wig cap. I also made lines here for the bangs and also where I want the part to be in and yeah. So you just take it off and it's pretty flexible still until we put in our wet sub hair. So next I'm going to go ahead and make the weft of the hair. So the next part is making the West. You don't necessarily have to make this, but I have seen that people make this and it looks much better because you can actually control the hair yeah. You can just go ahead and glue the hair straight on doing this step makes process a lot easier and better um, so yeah. So what I have here is the hair that I ordered from dolly hair calm. I will link their website down below, so this is midnight blue and Raven black, so I told them to actually mix it for me for peanuts, his hair, so there is actually blue and black in there together. I ordered two of them just in case, and I got the Mod Podge here, which is mad. I don't think it matters if it's matte or gloss, so this setup I find, is easiest. Some people actually glue it using their fingers. They'Ll like take the wefts and then glue it together. Like this, I hate using my fingers directly, and so I'm going to try and do is create sections with glue and just slap all of the hair there and then after it's dry, take it off and then cut it. So the guys some see I finished with a bin tire packet over here. So I finished the first bag, and this is what you get this entire thing. Obviously there were few strands that was wasted. I'M not used to dealing with hair like this, yet or at least this material, but now we are finished, I'm going to do the second bag, but what you're going to do is you're going to take the hair like this see how easy that was, and now You have our tracks, if you say so, you can comb it and brush it, and all that and what you're going to do is pretty much cut this individually. So this is a wet and I just pretty much cut it. So this is how they look. I'M not entirely sure if one bag like this will actually fit the head yet um. You know I'm not sure I might be like you know, just judging by it. It might just roughly, but it's always good to have extra material, an extra hair. I think so. Let'S go ahead and start gluing it to our: let's: go ahead and start gluing it to our red cap. I kind of trimmed them to make them look a little better they're, not as messy looking, and this will help with application um. So let's go ahead and start gluing them on all right. So right now I pretty much used up all of my webs. So since this is my very first wig, there were a lot of mistakes. I think, and a lot of trial and error, and so dealing with the material is hard gluing it properly. It'S also hard for the most part, it's not too bad. One mistake that I did was I made the back really really heavy. I paid attention so much like towards the back where you can't even see the inside really just because it's so thick in there, they don't see the white part. That'S how you know that I layered and I did such a good job in the back. When I should have paid attention more in the front, I did the front last, so I was kind of like running out of West and um yeah, but let me go ahead and trim this really quick, so that we can actually see Raven states all right. So I am officially done with this week. Oh I'm, looking at it in the camera, I love the color. I love how the shine is blue and you know it's black at the same time. This is how it looks off, so you can officially take out the wig cap. What I found really cool is that you know you can change how you want the bangs to lay, so I can even have it like that for more of a high-fashion look or really like deep, like that which is kind of cool. I like it like this. I prefer it like that, so for my first wig, I don't think it looks too bad, so the top of this wig is actually painted. I painted her roots black just so that I can hide the glue marks and it just fades to the actual color of the hair, which is black and blue. Now I know what to avoid the next time I create a wig and hopefully with practice and with time I'll get better. Let me know down below if you guys know how to make wigs, if you have any tips or tricks that I can use for few. For the future, I hope you guys enjoy this video give me a thumbs up if you guys, like the wig, and let me know down below what you guys think of my very first wig. Thank you guys for watching and I'll see you guys on my next video bye,

Lynz C: I adore how you talk about your mistakes so we can learn too. Plase don't stop making these videos, you're great :)

ThatDramaKid: I have made wigs and I recommend you do the scalp differently. What you should do is put the weft facing the opposite direction of how the hair is going to lay. Glue the weft and wait for it to dry, then flip the hair over and brush down. I personally would dip the hair in water to weigh it down. For the other side, do the same thing. This time, push the other side against the side that you had already placed. Hold in place until dry. Flip the hair, dip it water and you're done! This way you won't have to paint the hair :) Hope this helped :) -A Universal Hixel

NarcissicNingyou: Your first wig looks good, there are few few mistakes that you made but you managed to make the wig look nice. When it comes to weft making I usually use the glue method with yarn or alpaca, for the type of hair you used making the weft by sewing makes the weft a lot neater but if you really have to use glue, taping the hair first will help you to have some neater and even looking wefts (That's what I used to do it really helps a lot) .

ELizabeth O'Shea: Legendry wig! This is actually a really clever way of making wigs and giving dolls hair.

Alyaline Art: For a first try it's a really good wig. :) I had (and still have) the same problems with miscalculation of the  wefts. It helps to paint the wigcap in a similar color to the hair, so you can leave a little space between the wefts. If you have access to natural fibers, you should use them instead. They blend in way better and the wefts look fuller without layering them as thick.

Tara Twombley: I actually did not believe when he said this was his first wig. It looks amazing! You did an amazing job!

LeoxRenet: Thank you for posting this!!! I had been trying to reroot a doll when a long chunk of the reroot holes cracked down her head; I can now salvage her by using your easy to follow tutorial :D

Justin's DIY Workshop: The doll's wig looks so beautiful. I sometimes use hair clip extensions to create the wig.

TorQueSS J: I appreciate you showing your good and bad, taking us through your journey, it’s definitely less intimidating knowing that you amazing artist had to learn at one point too, I’ve been procrastinating doing my first faceup cause I want so badly for it to be good and not too amateur and cartoony, but if I don’t at least start, I’ll never get great like you!

Eveningstar: This is such an amazing talent you have! Making wigs for the dolls and reprinting their faces! It's so amazing! :3

Barbara Lund: Love how had them mix the blue and black. What a great idea. I want to try to make wigs and I really appreciate your video. Your first wig and this is the first wig video I am officially learning wigs from. :-)

Jøy: So kawaii!!! Each and every one of your repaint/ tutorials are gorgeous :)

Annabel Lee: That's so amazing! I'm in complete awe!

Abigail: this is sooo beautiful! great job ^_^

•Doctor_Crane•: Can you do a coraline doll ?!

Frosting1000: I think the wig came out great! Btw if you ever make another wig please show it!

jellophish: I really love this tutorial - now to decide on making a wig or rerouting

Ashleigh Stewart: I'm so glad I found your video! My first wig was a disaster but after hearing your critique I think my next one will be better. I didn't even cut the messy glue off my wefts!

Megan Ryan: So helpful. The videos you make always are, I love the job you do at making them, your work, and your narrative. Thank you for putting your work out there and for helping us all learn. I

Beladonna McCoy: I love it; I love the color and the shine. You did great! It was your first try and you nailed it, perfectly.

Sleepy Toast: This is really helpful! I'm making a custom Urahara (from Bleach) doll for my boyfriend (I asked for his favorite anime character, that's who he said) for christmas and didn't want to actually reroot the doll. (I'll be using Dexter Charming)

Eva Metzger: Thank you for this! Very helpful!

Minnie: You did so well for your first wig! Amazing! A tip for the future though, making the top of the weft thin and even will help you so much with the weight issue. Also, at the top to cover your wig cap you can take thin sections and make the part more natural by taking small groups of hair and flipping them over (thatching) to criss-cross the part. It helps if you take the top two wefts near the part and glue them facing the opposite direction before doing this and will give a more professional finish.

Chandre Duvenage: This is so awesome! Please do more wig tuts!

Sophie Kasparet: you did this really really well! i could never do this myself without an Instruktion °○° btw love your channel♡♡

Celestia a.k.a Nancy B.: I think you did a great job!! I can see myself trying this!

Sarah Uchiha: amazing work. Please make more wigs in this way . And u did well even if it's ur first time . hinata's wig went really amazing really really good job

Love Heart: I would be interested in seeing a wig made from yarn and a fine comb. There are a few tutorials out there but seeing your interpretation of it :)

Chelsea Tee: Thank you for posting this! I'm glad you decided to share this as I'm hoping to make a wig with a front fringe for my doll too one day. Are there any other youtubers/tutorials you recommend watching to get more of an idea of how to tackle it? :)

KittyCat _KilljoyDollies: The wig is beautifulIm going to try this

Katherine E.: This was super helpful, thank you!

Melissa Perez: Your first wig is amazing! You shouldn't criticize yourself to much. I'm watching this late, Bc again I found your Chanel a few weeks ago. Love all your work and you are amazing and talented. Literally the best I have seen that does these doll videos on YouTube.

N3RDYN1NJ4: I found your channel with a collaboration with other doll makers. You've come so far in just a year! I'm starting soon and I can't wait to get to your level!!!

Eleanora Dzen: Planning to fix/customize an old porcelain doll and this is so helpful! Her hair is destroyed sand this is absolutely easy to follow- all I need is to buy materials

Tasmin 2k17: It looks so good :0 Can you please make another wig? ♥

Night Fall: You're so talented ; I love all the things that you make. You should make a Once upon a time (which is a show on ABC) characters especially Regina Mills/The Evil Queen

Clown Cadaver: I think you did an awesome job for your first time boo! <3

Smol little Trash can: I have a suggestion, before you cut or do anything with the hair I would suggest letting it sit in fabric softener for about a week so you don't have the shine of the plastic, unlesss that's what you are looking for

urlocalmemedealer: Thank you, very helpful! I bought a white doll wig to make a Shiro(from Deadman in Wonderland) doll, but it's bigger than the doll's head. Now I know what to do, thanks ^^

PhantomHeart: You can try the sewing weft method that gives a lot of room to work with styling, it's best to place hair wefts in a natural orientation like a human head, style after all your pieces are placed because when you cut it first it may not go as you originally planned :333

Fantasy Shadows: Hi! That looks awesome! I want to do this to one of my dolls (with yarn) but I’m too scared to remove the hair and the head so what should I do?

Ally Lambert: I think the wig looks great, I love the color. Can you do a video on how you make yarn hair?

Snooph: This looks great! Also, if you'd like to know another method of making a wig, you should visit Dollightful's channel. She does a sewn wig, if you'd like to know how to make one like that. Keep up the good work! ^w^

Piscesbaby♓️: i love the color and not bad for your first wig!!!

brandon Zech: great job i usually reroot but wigs are faster and give more options this was easy to follow. im gonna be attempting soon

Zelly Graywords: For a first wig you did amazing! My first was so bad that it never was finished, I used waaaaaaay too much hair for the first and ran out and if I got more to finish it the hair would be so thick that there is now way it would lay down. :P The only suggestions I would have is to try and go around in a circle so that the front can get coverage more even with the back and to get some tacky glue or fabric glue rather than mod podge so that if the wig gets wet or you need to wet it for styling you won't end up with a sticky mess. Looking forward to seeing your next try! :D

Irene's dolly treasures: I'm so glad to subscribe your channelI love repainting and faceup and make them myselfthanks~

Sofia Kliemann: This video is very cool love it!+ can you make a bed for Meeshell Mermaid next please

Justin's DIY Workshop: I'm making a wig too for my Sailor Mars custom. I'm using Holly O' Hair from the Ballet line, I cut all of her hair, And did a body transfer with a Just Sweet Blondie Lockes doll. And I got the black doll hair from my local Hobby Lobby.

Chupacabraitt: Thank you for the film. Now I know that I used too much hair in one weft and my wigs are fluffy and messy. Cap I prefer do with tights / stockings, the material is very thin. I have one question. Mod Podge is waterproof, so it is written. Did you tried to stylize hair dolls with water?

ArtsyStar: it looks good. You did a great job for it being your first time doing it. Well I guess this counts as your second time in this video. I love the color.

Jabi X: can you do the crystal gems?

Snook Witham: Hi hextian, I think this came out quite decent for your first wig! You really have to just bite the bullet and dive right in and do it first hand, like you did, to learn what to avoid next time. It's really hard to explain- you gained invaluable experience and it looks cute too. I remember my first re-root, I focused SO MUCH on the back and creating new holes for hair plugs, so worried scalp would show through- and towards the end, I had to buy MORE hair cuz I used so much. It turned out to be very unnecessary, and although the doll looks cute, she has SO MUCH HAIR!!! It's seriously soooo thick! Lol seems like we made similar mistakes, but we learned next time will be even better! :)

Sinnamon: This is weirdly satisfying it's interesting to see the process of doll making

Jiejie Yi: Hi there! Your videos are really awesome and relaxing, so here's a new sub ^^. If you want tips to make wigs, I suggest you watch Andreja's tutorials on her channel Nicolle's dream. Have a great day and keep up the great work!

BurningLeaf: It's not even look like it's your first time you are doing this. It's awesome and pretty. I love it. You can be so proud of yourself, cuz it's very good job. You are absolutley doll-pro-maker :)

tymbis: It looks really nice! If I tried to make one I'm sure it will look like an explosion on my first try hahaha

Laura C: cut a slit down the pattern and glue 2 wefts inside each side of the cap and pull out and over the glue ontop, it hides the glue ontop and gives it a natural look. if it isn't sitting right, do a boil hair wash to keep it in place :) I think you did a really good job! the colours are lovely

Charlemancer: Dollightful has a really good set of wig making tutorials.

Sammie Peregrino: Mozekyto makes really good wigs the way you did it! Good job by the way! You did really good for your first try.

Aley_cat: i like the wig thank you for showing us how.

eggboi: Researching regular sized wefts might help with the way they can be sewn in. Also it might look better and be easier if you cut the wefts less and use it in lines like real wigs. Also using a little cap of lace might be a good idea if you want to try ventilation it might make the wig more natural and versatile

Eunice Fox: Hello,  I really admire you work!  Can you show how to separate the hair from the bundle without making a huge tangled mess?

Nefertiti Jones: It looks great!

Maytal Acedo: Awesome! I love that creative idea

Moda: Did I just watch a doll get a quick weave....

Jane Doe: for your first go this is actually smashing- did you end up using both packets? i really need to make a wig for one of my baldie bratzillaz

Quirky Chop: Wow! This is awesome!

Eunice Luna: It came out looking very good!

Kitana Kong: this is amazing! :D ❤

Gabby Walters: For wig tips watch Nicholles Dreams!! I love how your wig came out anyway!☺️

Hannah Phillips: Love it!!!!!!!

Crusty Krussy: Hey hexitan how is life :D I would love it if you could make another vocaloid doll if you could please :D stay amazing ✌

Oli J: It's great for a first try :D Dollightful and Mozekyto (I don't know whether you've watched their stuff) have some really good wigs videos :)

I C: You did a good job keep it up

Make Up: Make a Melanie Martinez doll it would be so cute!!! And the wig looks nice!

keturahkingsland: absolutely love your videos

NessNos: That's a pretty great first wig! There are lots of tutorials out there. Nicolle's Dreams has some on her YouTube and Patreon pages, Xanthi (Jointed Love) has a pretty good picture tutorial. Lomi's Playground, Will Store, and UNNiEDOLLS here on YouTube also have tutorials. Everyone does it just a little bit different. The trickiest part is the parting! I still haven't mastered that, but practice is helping! I can't wait to see more of your wigs!

Dolly Girl: Looks fine and easy :)

Stephanie: I can't believe that was your first time, it's a lovely wig <3

Foxiepaws ACAnderson: I hate glue on my hands too...it drives me crazy! I am glad to see I wasn't the only one to start at the back and end up with too much hair. I have come a long way since then, as you have too and I like elastic and stocking net wig caps with the hair sewn in. I trashed far too many bags of hair with the glue technique and I still use glue for yarn braids but for hair, I am definitely more in favour of the sewn in wig.

Lorettas Macabre Dollz: Very cool it came out beautiful!!

chizzstar123: I love it it's fabulous!!

Jean: even though this is the first time you make a wig... it's already nice

Virag Ortutay: love it it's just so cool

Sebastian Sean Crow: You did really good on the wig and it looked really good on the doll, but Hinata's hair has a more purple hue than it does blue or black, so I would have gone with a purple color to mix in with the midnight blue or the Raven black

MaggieTheAardvark: tbh, your first wig looks so much better than my first, I didn't dye it evenly because I felt I needed to rush and I over glued the top xD

CocosCupiid: I think as a first go you did really well, it could have looked really bad. Repainting looks easy but it takes practice so doing wigs is going to be the same but you'll smash it!

lav1walker: I personally charming, easier than other videos and faster, to be your first wig you stay well

Anni Mani Dolls: It looks good, the only problem with glued not sewn wigs is tht you cant't style It in hot water because glue will melt (learnt It hard way) :(

Mayra Kop Jansen: Wow you’re amazing I love this video

BobaFiish: I asked this before but I was wondering if you could do a custom Sugar Skull doll? Since it is that time of Halloween sort of XD

Maria Antonova: wow thanks for the video, i'm gonna try it too

Nevaeh Cardenas: omg you are amazing I tried to do that and failed where did you get your creativity

Emma-Cailin Cavanagh: for your first attempt that is amazing :3 I learnt some thing new to thank you Hextian ^.^

Havilands Gamer Channel: I think it's amazing that you made the wig, but what I don't like about it is the top is just glue, and for me that looks very tacky. The colours are great though.

Rhonda Leonard: I think for your first wig you did an awesome job. Don't give yourself such a hard time. It really is brilliant truly you did a wicked job. well done big thumbs up HeXtian

Datolite: THIS IS SO AWESOME!!!!!!

Margaret Elliot: I know this video is a bit old but I’ve been looking into making my own doll wig, and I was just wondering if you could paint the wig cap to match the hair, so there’s less possibility of being able to see the white showing through? I didn’t know if the glue would react to it in a weird way as I have actually had that happen to me several times while painting something on canvas, and I just wanted to see if someone in the comments knew if the same thing would happen.

Olivia Hudson: That looks good I will make this
