Diy Curly Wig With Bangs► Amazon Prime Maxine Hair Under $100

Hey curlfriends and welcome back In today's tutorial, I'm going to show you guys how to create this DIY curly wig with bangs under $ 100.. This hair comes from Maxine Hair on Amazon., Yes, girl. This is some human virgin hair on Amazon.. Of course, this video is in collaboration with Maxine Hair.. They sent over a 10'' closure, 10'' 10'' and 12'' bundles.. So I got 3 bundles and 1 closure in all.. I went ahead and just mixed up a little bit of bleach and developer to lighten out the closure to match my skin tone.. I went ahead and co-washed my bundles as well, and this is what we ended up with right on time to make our wig. I'm using this XL spandex dome cap to sew my wigs. Ya'll know I have a big head, so this particular size dome cap is The only dome cap that is fitting my head right now at this moment. As usual, I'm going ahead and laying down my closure first.. I went ahead and centered it on the front of the cap.. I wanted the seams for the cap to be under the closure. That way when I cut out the cap from the closure, it'll cut out those harsh seams and it won't sit on my temples at all.. It'S pretty much overlapping those seams.. I ordered some T-pins recently for wig making and I promise you guys it has saved my life.. I got through this wig super fast with the T-pins.. I just pretty much stick those T-pins where the weft will lay so that I don't have to hold up the weft as I sew. I can literally just sew straight across and stick it where I need it to go. Next.. I just use those T-pins to hold up the tracks, as I sew. I'm also going under the cap to sew this entire wig, so that it lays nice and flat.. I used the flip over method so that I wouldn't have to cut my wefts at all.. The wefts were super long because it's super short hair.. As far as the texture that I chose, I chose the Brazilian Water Wave Hair.. This is like the perfect summer time. Fine hair. You can get in the pool with this, and your hair is going to look super beautiful when it's wet., As you guys can see, it has a little bit of a wave pattern to it.. It is air dried right now., My wig is complete and I'm just going to go ahead and cut off the excess cap.. I like to sew down my rough edges from cutting off the cap, just for a more professional finish., I'm going to go ahead and try on my wig. Being honest with you guys. I had no idea as to what I was going to do with this wig, because the hair was so short. But, as I played around with it on my head, I said this would look perfect in a bang.. The top is layered really nicely because its a 10'' 10'' and the 12'' is on the bottom.. So I just went ahead and cut a nice little bang.. As I got closer and closer to being done with the wig. I wanted to go ahead and wet it down to show you guys what it looks like wet.. I also wanted to get more of a precise cut vs my rough cut when it was dry., I'm going to go ahead and spray it down with some water.. I'M going to put a little bit of product in it just to define the curls a little bit more.. Keep in mind that if I go ahead and cut these bangs while it's wet, I don't want to cut too high up because it will shrink once it dries.. The closure is perfect for this bang because it make it look less like a wig.. It looks like I have my own natural scalp at the top of the unit. Instead of a circle, DIY closure with the flat iron., Here's what it looks like completely wet. Using my Dollar Tree Mousse from Salon Selectives, I'm going to add one full pump of this mousse just to define the curls a lot better., I'm going to go ahead and Just diffuse this mousse into the hair so that it can dry really nicely.. I didn't like how it looked when it dried with the diffuser itself, because it gave me a jerry, curl kind of look.. I hate the perfect curl type of look on wavy hair, like this hair., So the next day when it was completely dry. I went ahead and fluffed up my roots, lifting them higher., As you guys, can see, I'm trying to get it as dry as possible with the blow dryer. But this is what it looks like the day after when I really got to put more body and volume into it., It just looks really effortless and full..
