Woman Over 80 Chooses Her First Wig (Official Godiva'S Secret Wigs Video)

Hi everybody, i'm rochelle, the mother of the mother-daughter team of godiva's secret wigs and i am so happy to be able to have a consultation with wigs with fran friends, say hi to everybody, hi everybody and a lot of you know my sister, because you wished her A happy birthday, so my sister sheila, is here in the background. Have you ever worn wigs or are you a wig virgin? No i've, never worn wigs. What do you know? Okay over 60 years old, absolutely keep going over 65. 70. Yes, 74! More! Really! Really! Thank you. I don't know. Do you want to give us all a hint yes in my 80s wow, but don't tell anybody, tell anybody okay, so your skin is beautiful. I just added a little makeup and a little gloss to fran gave her a little eyebrow and she really has great hair. I think what would you say that you would want different just a little more of it or what thicker thicker my hair is thin okay, so we can definitely do that, and so i have pre-chosen wigs. I haven't hung out with fran, i'm really spending. I mean i've really only spent, maybe a couple of minutes in the past right. We met out at the front lobby right but um so but seeing her picture, i have picked some wigs and a few surprises and fran knows nothing yet so the first thing i'm going to do is i'm going to put fran's hair behind her ears. Do you wear hearing aids? I do okay, so let me know if it bothers you what i'm doing at all, but i'm just making a secure ponytail in the back. So those of you that have hearing aids do you wear glasses? No! Okay! If you have any hearing aids just know that soda's fran all right all right, so we are going to start we're going to jump right in with abigail a lace front wig. So i just want you to feel feel how light abigail is hello, abigail, yeah, she's, lovely, just really light and just about two ounces and we say lace front because there is lace right in the front here, and i want you all to see just right here: Lace, you don't have to cut it. It doesn't need to be glued. Nothing like that, but very easy to wear, so i'm just giving it a little brush. So i'm going to put these on you and we're going to start a little lower at your forehead and then we come slowly upwards. So this might not be the one, but i want it. I want you to see it and also i can trim any of these long pieces into bangs. So that's long for you and i already know which one you're gon na, like it's my number two choice, but i have to put one on you sure. That'S just a little bit different sure. Do you like to show your ears? I it it's fun, no, not necessarily because i don't like to show my hearing. Aids. Okay got it okay, so, but it's very pretty! Isn'T that pretty? Yes, it's a very pretty wig and it's very light. Yes, and, and it's very flattering it would be very flattering from total. I, like you in a you, know something with a little less length shorter. It'S very pretty on you, like this you're saying like this. Okay, and what i would like insist on is that i just trim just gently trim these bangs and for those of you that purchase abigail, you put it on, and it's going like this, just take it to a hairdresser that you trust and have them just trim. Some bangs on there right now, i'm going to just tuck that part in, because i want you to see it a little better. There there's your eyes. So abigail is wig number one. It gives you a little height, it's very pretty pretty right. Yes, very pretty! Okay! It'S a flirty, wispy little style, yeah yeah. Can you turn your head a little to the left and the right? So everybody you can see a little bit yeah. It'S just got a great fullness. I like that. Really pretty. It feels good good. All right! You all! Would love it? I think it's. I think it's flattering for everyone that way it's beautiful abigail and this color is called silver, mink, it's beautiful, so it's a great match. Yes, it's very close for those of you that know our silverstone color. So i'm going to put silverstone color here. It is next to silver, mink! I want you both you all you both you both and you all to see the difference. Silver. Mink is a little more silver silver stone make sure i have it. The right way is a little lighter, a little softer yeah. Yes, it is silver, stone, silver, mink, okay, so now we are going to go with my number one pick for you and i think sheila's too alana. That'S it! That'S a lovely name. Do you know any alanis? No, now i do well, she will be your best friend and feel how light alana is put your hand in there. She is not something. It'S really wonderful, so our wigs, why women around the world own 2 to 20 and 30 and 40 of our wigs is they are all open wefts. So you can put your fingers all through the wig, so your scalp can breathe okay and that way it doesn't inhibit your hair. It'S a wonderful, wonderful thing. Yes, you can do that. Yes, we agree, so i'm start low and then i'm slowly bringing it up to your hairline. Once i get it to your hairline, there's little curvy tabs at your ears, i make sure they're. Even what is it my ears there's little tabs? What do you do with them? You make sure they're, even oh, like i'm wearing taylor in nutmeg f, and so i hold those ear tabs to make sure it's even on the head right, okay and then it feels right. Okay. So to me this is you well, what do all the other, ladies think? Well, if you want them to vote and then you're going to pick your wig, that is your choice too. That'S very kind! It'S pretty! Isn'T it friend that looks like you. That'S great look! Yeah, it's lovely - all i would suggest doing is take a little of the weight cut that a little shorter. So it's a little more open around your face, but all of this is great. It'S just to me this little part that needs to be trimmed a little shorter, a little more feathered. You know what i mean i do so. I just wanted you to see that yeah. Can i smile for our camera? Can i hello camera? It'S very pretty they're, they're lovely, your wigs are lovely. How do you remember the names well they're, all written on my cheek price tag? What'S the name of this one alana alana, so alana and andrea are the same color but you'll see a little different cut so up at the hairline and even those tabs. Oh, i see it's much shorter, it's a little bit shorter. I just wanted to show you something a little, maybe cooler i mean most of our clients, like i said they own 2 to 20 and more, and so you might have something a little short. This is cute from the side. Oh friend, that's adorable. Will you look at me now, so everyone can see your side wow? Yes, the other side yeah, it's just great, so the that's adorable on you look at this. I love andrea. Now see that's a surprise. I love it, but i haven't thought of it for you, i like serious ones so far, okay, but i like that with some bangs i agree and our bangs come a little too long on every wig and that's so, depending on the woman's forehead right. They can easily be customized, so if the bangs are too long, just trim them a little bit. Can i talk to the women? Please do well hello. My name is fran. This is a wonderful thing. That'S going on, i'm enjoying it so much. I'Ve never looked so pretty. My hair isn't perfect, but these wigs are perfect, so hello to everybody wow. Thank you sure. I love that sure. I love it and you know what you're saying is true, for so many women they're just used to the same old day. You get in a habit, you get in a rut, you don't you know, i'm not saying you, but all of us. We end up doing the same thing. It'S like we're on autopilot. We don't make any changes, and so, when i got here to fran, i said okay friend, do you have any blush or any eyeshadow? No, do you have any a little lip gloss? No, do you have any earrings? No, no um, i'd love. To put you in something a little more glittery a little bit or dressy, and you wear your sweatshirts because you're used to it, that's what i wear so comfort. It'S a comfort, but you know you don't have every day women have a bad hair day. They always have a bad hair day. You never need to have a bad hair day if you buy one of the wigs, yes or two or twelve or two or twelve, no, our clients seriously fran many of them and they've written in you know who you are. They tell me they choose the wig and the color they're going to wear, and then they choose their clothes to match. That'S true. The wing colors some days, they're a redhead some days, they're a blonde. How fun that is! It'S playful! Isn'T it it's very. So i see you like this. I love this wig too on you and it just dresses you up. I love this little wispiness, it's not the style you're used to no, i like it longer yeah, okay, perfect! A lot of you may not know about these are danielle bangs and they are bangs on a headband, so easy so say, you're going to wear a hat or you're, taking a trip somewhere you're going doing whatever put the bangs wherever you want up here and then I brought a gray turban just to show you i think. Am i messing you up? No, that's, okay! Oh i don't want to mess up your hearing. No, i i would know your hair, i'm going to pull your hair out a minute, because i want you to see it with look yes, so we can still cover your ears, see, ladies, you can be in disguise where your husband or your friends won't know who The hell you excuse me right, hey you see, the freedom fran is having with these pieces, but our danielle bang is so great and if, if your bangs, typically frizz right, she, yes yeah, i love it. Oh and you know what this i didn't put behind your ear: there you go there, it is, but our all of these wigs all of our pieces, we don't carry human hair, we carry very high quality synthetic. So when you wash these or sheila, is going to do it for you, maybe that we have our own brand of shampoos conditioners and the most amazing part of our wigs. Is they dry the way you bought them? You wash it in your sink. We have videos in our 350 videos that shows i show you how to wash a wig and condition it, but you shake it after you washed and condition it. Let it drip dry in your shower in the morning you brush it, you go so everything i'm showing you. It will always look the way. You see it right now. Isn'T that wonderful? Isn'T that wonderful? Isn'T that wonderful, so i want to show you something else: let's stay with that stay with the bang, maybe you're going out with your sweatshirt you're going somewhere yeah. If you want your ears covered, that looks better and that's great right, great sheila. How many thumbs up are we getting so impressed they're? Wonderful, these wigs are wonderful, it's transformed here! So let's go back and i want to put your hair back again: okay and let's try alana and whatever else you want, and if you want me to trim those bangs, i will do it right now. So are we done putting the wigs on now? Yes is, and your audience is still out there: oh, yes, okay! So up at the hairline, i keep saying it. So you remember, i don't know well. Sheila will show you be happy to help you, but here is the length. This is the length that i know you like. It is the length i like so now put your hands in here and feel this wig, because it's the longer length that you're thinking about is one side longer than the other. Maybe it's nope, maybe i don't have it perfectly. Even yes, you're right see. That'S why the ear tabs are important right. There see that later you just caught it. The ear tabs are important. That'S darling! It'S darling! It'S you! It'S me which one do you like best? Well, that's the one i like from the beginning, yeah i like the coloring is yours: the style is yours, i'd like it, i don't even know. If we should cut bangs, i don't think we should yet. I don't think we should well, i think, yeah. Maybe what else, whatever you think i can cut just a few little pieces, just a few like whisks, just if you're happy with this swig all right. May i move? No, please. If you like it, i will cut it. What do you think women out there? Well, they're not going to answer to you right this minute. No, but this is for you for you to choose what speaks to you and that's why i i always try and share with my clients what gives you a tickle when you look in the mirror, and i can always put the other two back on you. No, i love this really. The back is beautiful. It'S just laying just soft is my hair. My hairline covered. Oh, yes, completely! Every your hair is in the little bun right inside okay, but when you say you love it, i'm just curious. What are you seeing that you love about it? Well, what i see is that my hair looks thicker, the the shape is prettier, my hair is old hair, and so i've lost a lot of it, but this makes my hair me look beautiful. It really does - and i didn't think i was beautiful before, but thank you bro, oh my pleasure and i love the little makeup that we did on you. You see the difference and does it give you a little lift? Yes, a big lift, good yeah yay. Okay. So do you want me to trim a little? I do just a little little. Okay, so sheila tell everybody how much you love me. While i grab my scissors, i love you so much, i'm always so impressed by the beautiful transformation that women go through when they put on just the right wig at the right i mean this is this is fran from the get-go yeah great, it's more volume, but It'S it's her! Yes, i love it. Thank you. So i'm going to trim the bangs on alana, so you can see what i do. Okay, so first, i'm going to bend down get a little lower. So you want to make sure the wig is exactly in the right place right up at the hairline. You don't want it too, high or too low and make sure that those ear tabs are perfectly even on each side. Okay, so before i just jump in and start trimming a whole bunch of hair, i'm just going to trim a few wispies about right here, because i need to get that hair out of fran's face out of her eyes. Okay, trust me! I trust you perfect. You should because i'm good, so i'm just going to start right in the middle and i'm just trimming up slightly to the right, not straight up never across. But if you see i'm not pulling down, because if i cut it, the bangs are going to pop back up and it'll. Be too short, so i'm just going longer than i think. Sorry, that's, okay! You can close your eyes if you want, and i'm gon na concentrate for a minute, so you can watch i'm just gon na take just a little here. It makes a world of difference immediately right, just that little wisp of a bang, a softness. I don't mainly i want to get them out of fran's eyes, because nothing bothers your eyes more than some of these hairs just sitting so especially right between the eyes. Do you see the difference that's happening already? Can i move them or sure, but i'm still going to trim that? Oh then i'll wait, i'm still going to trim i'm going to wait and i would like to take a little more here to open it up a little bit. Do you agree? I agree. Okay, i agree with whatever you say all right, because you know what you're doing i don't know, i'm just going to lighten this up a little bit up here. So it doesn't look. You know we want it to look realistic and lighten it up. That'S perfect! This lady is an artist her sister who's here is adorable. Oh thank you and she makes the best chocolate chips. She'S done some cake you've ever eaten. She made banana chocolate chip. Oh yeah, i'm going to wipe my nose go right ahead and i'm sorry if i'm getting some in your eye right now, but when i'm done there won't be any in your eye. These, i feel, are a little too long for you, i'm just going to barely nip them just a little bit. She has a natural wave on that side. That'S real pretty! It just looks. It looks on this side on this, this side and the other side. Yes, it is yes, look at sheila. Will you see everybody right here? Look at this turn a little more there. You go i'll. Tell you how fabulous you look? Yes, okay back around now, you wouldn't know right. You wouldn't know me. I wouldn't know that was a wig how's that that's there's the answer. That'S exactly right. I wouldn't either so i just from that. Little trimming see how it opened up your face. Yes and our wigs don't need much. The styles are meant to be pretty much ready to go. Should we do the same to the other side? Oh yeah. First, i want to get this going where i'm kind of happy and then i'm going to go over there and then i'm going to come back over here. I just want to take some of the weight off, so it's more a visual cut than a precision cut because the wig's not going to change. It'S always going to look the way it looks yes, i love that okay, so just a little at a time really. Just starting right here, okay and then i'm going to work on getting all the hair out of your eyes. That'S too long for you. Would your audience like to see the back of the wig. I think they're knotting! Yes, let me just finish you up here: there's not much to do on this side, because it's the shorter little thinner side, but look she yeah, it's beautiful! It'S just a soft wispy little wave right, not too much hair, just very natural. If you would like to turn around and show our audience, they would love to see all the way around whatever you want to do, yeah sure, perfect and let me just get over it. Let me get rid of this price tag and then they'll really be able to see okay. So all these little pieces. This is the wig everybody, because i have friends here up in a bun. Okay, so move your head.
