Hey guys, it's your girl, purely janice, welcome back to my channel, so i'm already in a rush, so we're just gon na get right into this video. Okay, i just got done washing my hair, hence the towel and don't come for me. Don'T comfort me about this! Towel: okay, it's the towel that i've used to bleach my wigs it has like dye on it. Just don't come for me: y'all, okay, but anyways. I just got done washing my hair and i am about to blow dry and straighten it for the first time in like a year and a half, i just got back into blow drying my hair earlier this year and it's actually been working out for me just Because my natural hair alone is just too much to handle the last time i straightened my hair. It was a total disaster, so when i say like i'm straightening my hair for the first time in a year and a half like i'm, not saying it, so you guys will expect this like huge, like transition where, because i haven't straightened it for a year, it's Super healthy and luscious and cute and bouncy and flowy, because that's what i expected the last time i straightened my hair and when i tell y'all i literally looked like a wet rat when i was done it was just like it was just embarrassing. I embarrassed myself. I set my expectations super high and it just it didn't come out the way it was supposed to come out, so my expectations are low, but i'm hoping for the best, because i have no other options. The last time i straightened my hair um. I ended up having to wand the straightened hair just to give it some volume and make it look good and presentable. You know to go out in public, so hopefully we don't have to do that today, because honestly, i really don't have the time but um yeah. If you guys want to see me straight my hair for the first time in i don't know 18 months go ahead and stick around, like, i said we're first going to blow dry it i'm using this blow dryer that i got from walmart for literally like 20. Super cheap, but it works really well. It came with like four attachments and the heat setting on it is actually top notch like for a walmart blow dryer, it's definitely good. So, if you're in need of a cheap blow dryer that works well, this is for you. I'M not sure what it's called, but i do have a matching brush to go with it, and this detangling brush is literally one of the best brushes i have or have ever had, but let's get into it. Oh okay! Oh we love to see it. This is my hair freshly blow-dried. I look good. Do y'all see this okay, wait. Let me just give you all some angles like hold on. Let me get them back like. Oh. It literally feels so good, so soft we'd love to see it y'all as y'all can see. The blonde is almost gone. Definitely gon na redone, my hair blonde, with my funds allow, but oh look at this, giving on diana ross like okay, ugh, giving y'all diana ross. Like oh, giving you the jackson, five like yes um, but i'm gon na plug up my hot comb and my flat iron and then we're going to get to straightening. Let'S do it y'all, like somebody grandma, hey you eat. Let me stop your mama ain't failed. You today, oh no come on in here. Let me fix you a plate. So oh yeah, look at this auntie cheryl coming through hey y'all, i'm having too much fun with this i'm geeked. This looks so much better than last time. Maybe last time i should have bumped the ends too. My mom was onto something bro nice to think she was making me look crazy. Whole time, sis had a plan. Look at this a whole silken press at home period period. So this side is done. I'M gon na do the same thing that i did to this side to this side over here and then we're gon na. I yo i'm speechless like i'm, giving you guys auntie pearl, i'm giving you marilyn monroe like it's. It'S cute, it's different! This is definitely not what i was going for, but oh i love the results. My hair is honestly so so healthy now like when i tell you guys the first time i straightened my hair, i was giving wet rat, it was bad, but this time it's like nice and bouncy, it's just it's nice, and just i don't. I don't even know how to explain it. You know like it's just it's so cute um just give you guys a little profile, you know and then lengthwise it got a little bit this. Is it bro, my boyfriend's being so loud on the game? Um, it got a little bit longer. Honestly, i was never really working with much. My hair has basically always been this length i feel like had i not have gotten the blonde. It would be so much longer right now, but this length is honestly so perfect. For me at least, i feel like it's feathered perfectly, even though my blonde is just basically grown out blonde. This isn't something that i you know wanted to happen. It still looks cute like it looks like i wanted it to be kind of a black faded into blonde. So i love this. Hopefully you guys enjoyed watching me straighten my hair. This is definitely a journey, definitely a gamble, and i'm telling you right now based on the results, we definitely knew the assignment like we knew the assignment and we got 101 like yo. I just can't stop. Who who is this like? Who, who is she? Who am? I i think, with 4c hair, a lot of it has to do with the health of your hair. So if your help, your hair is healthy, obviously you're going to get healthy, looking more fuller, um, bouncier and shinier results when you straighten it out, which is why i think you know i got the glam going on.
