Chatty Grwm| We Got A Dog| Curling My Hair With Hot Rollers| Not Sure Where I Fit In Here?

So i do realize that this is the like worst well, not the worst, but it is pretty bad lighting because my window is right here, um. Unfortunately, i have to be facing this way because i have a big mirror behind the camera. So i need to be able to see what i'm doing and i can't just be looking at my talk um. I can't just be looking over here in the viewfinder. Otherwise, it just looks kind of off so um, forgive the lighting, sammy, say: hi come here sammy and say: hi you guys we got a dog, her name is sammy. I haven't updated you guys in like a vlog or anything i probably need to. But yes, so well come here, sammy she's, like a baby, oh come here, baby see she is a big baby and she is um. The sweetest she's 10 years old and um. We weren't planning on getting a dog but um it just kind of worked out. She is my sister-in-law's well, i call her my sister-in-law, it's my brother or my brother-in-law's girlfriend's um dog, and they weren't able to take care of her. So we ended up taking her and she is perfect, so anyways um, so we're gon na start with hair. Actually um, i have a new device that i wanted to try out today: um and it's these hair rollers. Okay. These are just like your old school like hot rollers, and i really just wanted to try them out with my hair. It'S grown out a bit since i cut it all off back in december, i think is when i cut it, so it's grown out quite a bit, and so i wanted to see like how like bouncy and like full, i can get my hair looking um with These because i do have the dyson airwrap dupe, but it like takes forever. It takes so long. You guys, like i'm sure, like the actual dyson, is better, but the dupe literally takes me an hour to do my entire head of hair. So um, i don't have time for that. So anyways, i'm gon na start with doing my hair with the rollers first and then we're gon na move on to makeup. Look at this hair! You guys um! So i just took a clip and i'm gon na section off like each section of hair whatever so we're just gon na start with the bottom section and i'm gon na bring it forward. Um and i'll probably start with. I don't know maybe the smaller rollers um yeah we'll do smaller, rollers first and um. These have like a little thing in them to where you can kind of put them. Okay, maybe i don't. Maybe i don't remember how to do this, so how in the world you guys i used to, it would have like the whole slit and you put it in there and then roll up um, i'm very confused. So am i supposed to put it this way? Help me so i'm assuming that you're not supposed to put the like slit in your hair, you're just supposed to wrap them around and then well i suck at doing hair you guys um just so. We know i have a cosmetology license and i am terrible with like what, with hair like women's hair, i can cut men's hair um, but yeah women's hair is a no-go like don't ask me to do your hair cause. I can't guarantee you that it's gon na turn out great um. I did have to have that happen, though, like what was it about a month ago. No, maybe two months ago, um, my one of my friends had a friend that was getting married and um. There was like a bunch of girls at her house like getting. They were using like her house to get ready and um. She called me and she was like. Can you please come over here, really quick? She said i have a girl here that her hair is messed up, she said, and the stylist that did it like is the one who messed it up, and so she was like. Can you just make it look better? And so i did. I ran over there and did the best that i could um surprisingly, it did look way better when i did it. But again that was like. Maybe me like trying my hardest, so this girl isn't like upset so um, definitely uh yeah, but other than that. I'M not great with like hair at all, like i don't even like to do my own hair, like that's. Why i got these because i figured i can just roll them up and then do my makeup and then take it them out and my now my cat's in here and take them out and then my hair be like nice. You know so okay, so these are the bottom ones that are in by the way. This is what it looks like and you kind of just like well here, whoa, you kind of just like shimmy them up out of there. That'S where the little slit they like slide down in there and then you just slide them out. I guess um so, and i love these, because these are like a cream and black which is just like. I don't know super cute. You know like it's not bright. Purple or pink like conair cheesy stuff is, you know so anyways, i'm gon na take this layer down and we're gon na. Do the next layer, and i'm probably gon na, have people ask me because i do have them. Ask me on tiktok anyway um like what color i dye my hair, and just so you guys know, i don't know if y'all see, but that's a bunch of gray hair. So i don't dye my hair ever like i just don't so it is all natural. So i can't help you a whole lot there. I do. I do diet, though, like maybe once a year, maybe um like i did last year and the color that i used was like it's like paul mitchell color, and it was like a four in. I think i think that's right. One thing about these is you want to maybe try to keep them away from your ear, because this one is like sitting right on my ear and it is burning. It'S burning very bad. I really hope this looks good and doesn't make me look like shirley temple, to where i hate it um, because i don't like my hair to be like too curly um. I think my reasoning for that is just because, like like it's at a certain length right now and if it gets too curly, then it looks really short, and i just don't want that. Um, i'm actually like, cannot wait for my hair to grow back out last year. When i cut it, it was like i don't know like down to here like it was super long and i had to cut it because i got covered and all of my hair started falling out. So i just decided to cut it all off and kind of start over, so that was like back in december. So it's about like right here right now, so it's it's growing slowly but surely, and then all of my bald spots that i had um. Let me see if i can try to show you guys here in a second, so oops, like all of this, was like bald right here um and it's slowly starting to grow back. I don't know if you guys can see all the little bits. So i was trying to make this like get ready with me a little bit chatty um, but i don't really know what you guys. Wanna know wan na see, um i've been doing a day in the life vlogs and i love doing that um. But i feel like i don't know if you guys are like me or maybe you're not, i don't know um, but i feel like i just don't like fit in here anymore, like on youtube, which is why i stopped for like the longest time. I just felt like i really didn't, have a place like. Yes, i'm a mom. I have three kids, but i'm not a stay-at-home mom. I work i own my own business um, you know and then all of my kids are like grown they're. I mean they're not grown, but they're like school age, kids, so i don't have like babies anymore, and i just feel, like i don't know like mom vloggers are usually people like in the beginning stages of motherhood. I think like they have. Babies and most of them are stay-at-home moms and i just feel like nobody like, like i'm, not a relatable human. So, that's why people don't want to watch and then, like, oh, no and then, like i don't know, i still feel like i'm very invested, not invested, but i'm very into like um beauty and fashion or just not fashion. I don't have any sense of fashion. I just know what i like, and i share things that i like with you guys but um. I just feel like i'm stuck in between like creating content. That'S mom content, but also wanting to create like beauty and fashion or shopping content. Pretty much so i don't know you guys, let me know what you want to see. I mean again, this is my channel, i'm still going to post whatever i want to post but, like i said, i'm just kind of at a a place where i don't exactly know where i fit in or if there's any other like moms that are like me. I don't know that could even possibly relate to anything. I'M ever posting i don't know um. I have been very active on tick tock um. I post i've been posting like a lot of mom content on there. However, my mom content does not get views at all. I feel like nobody cares um, but then, if i post something about being 30 gets a million views, so i don't know i don't know like. I can't just like post like tick. Tock is weird: it's like you have one video that goes viral and then that's like your entire personality on that app. You know what i mean and it's like anything that i post about being 30. It'S like tons of views but mom content, beauty content. I mean some of my um, like fashion content, definitely gets views too, but again i am not out shopping like every single day. I just want to post like real life content, so i'm kind of unleashing this all on you guys today, but trying to make it a little bit more chatty. Is that all of my hair did i get it? I think other than these missing stray hairs, which maybe i can touch up. I think i got it all so i'm going to do my bangs, though, and well that didn't go well, i'm going to do my bangs and we're going to curl them instead of curling them in we're going to curl them out that way when they fall. It'S kind of like a like a curtain, bang type deal which they're not curling in this roller very well. At all. There we go okay, where's, the clippy. Oh i'm dropping everything today which fun fact it's, because i'm on my period, so someone told me once upon a time that, if you're like constantly dropping things like because i was at work and i kept dropping my comb and my scissors and all this stuff and Um they were like. Are you about to start your period? I was like yes and they're like that's. Why and so. Yeah, apparently like your, i don't know whatever it is, is off during your period. So that's why you're more clumsy so fun fact. Okay, these guys are all in again this is not clean. This is pretty messy, i think the next. This is the first time i've ever tried to even do this, so i think the next time i'm gon na try to do this i'll try to be more cleaner because i know once i start taking these out, i'm probably gon na rip out, like a ton Of hair and i can't afford to lose any more hair, you know also, these are all in my hair and i still have like three one, two yeah three of these left over in there, so that many, i don't even know how many this is, but that Many covered my entire head all right, so we are gon na. Do um our well my makeup now um these products are new and i tried them yesterday. However, i didn't give them like a full chance just because, right after i did my makeup, we went swimming so um. I couldn't really tell a whole lot there, so this setup is a little strange right now, so i'm gon na try to still stay looking at the camera. However, my mirror is over here. I need to get like a better setup in here. If i'm gon na do videos like this, but since i don't do them that often it's pretty ghetto so anyways, this is an ice roller um, this one's my favorite one. I hate the one with like the jelly thing in the middle, because that busts and, like literally ruin your fridge so um. I just like this one plus this thing stays cold, even if you don't um put it in the freezer. So yes, and the first name product is gon na, be this oily skin um control moisturizer. I did try this yesterday and i do think that this is going to be a winner. I didn't have it on very long, but the amount of time that i did have it on um. I could tell a huge difference so um. This is the oily skin control moisturizer, it's a mattifying primer for your skin. Basically, and as soon as you put it on like you can already kind of feel it start working, i feel like um. It is like anti-shine anti-oily or anti-oil um, so i have been so like oily the past like couple months like i have no idea what is going on, but by the end of the day my makeup is like sliding off my face like there was at one Point where it was so oily, i literally took like a napkin and just wiped my face, and it was almost like using a cleansing balm to get your makeup off like that's how oily i was so um yeah. I wiped right off so anyways we're gon na use this today, and i got this off of amazon for like really cheap, so um definitely give it a go if you're an oily mess. If you're wondering how i'm even able to film this right now, um good question - i have no idea. Sadie is watching my phone on the couch and the girls. Um are upstairs like supposed to be cleaning their room, but i have no idea what they're doing so. I'M just taking this time to film this video, so fingers crossed that, like the outside of my house, like outside of this room, isn't destroyed so um. The next product i'm gon na go in with is the four in one perfector glow makeup. This was recommended by katie fawn. She raved about this, and so i decided to finally give in and try it, and this is in the color medium. So it's basically like a glow bronziness for your skin, like kind of like a um. What would you call it like? A not a primer, but, like i don't know, i don't know anything so anyways we're just gon na put this on get out of my way. We'Re gon na put this on like the places that we would like normally bronze um, by the way you guys have not been maybe on my nose wearing like tons of makeup. I have just not so anyways um, just gon na blend that out with a a um beauty, blender and you guys can see that looks very just glowy and pretty um, nothing crazy. I like it. I think it looks beautiful okay, so this concealer is holy girl. Concealer, for me, it's literally four dollars: it's the incognito concealer by um, wet and wild, and i will just dab this underneath my eyes, because i have some eye bags and then here here i always do here in these little like corners, because it gives you like The illusion that you don't have lines there. I have pretty pretty deep lines: they're not like deep but they're, pretty noticeable to me, so i can kind of make them less noticeable by putting a little bit of concealer there. So anyways just blend that out. Okay, next thing i'm going to go in with is some cream bronzer. This one is by chanel. I bought this when i was treating myself so there's probably tons of other cheaper options, but i'm gon na use this, because obviously i spent a lot of money on it and i'm gon na use it up so um anyways. It'S literally the only bronzer, though, that i've been using, which okay, so for one, if you're doing these things um make it a little bit, they make it a little bit difficult to kind of put your cheek products on, so that is not okay like no. This is really hard: okay, so anyways, i usually just bronze like this cheekbone and then i'll put it like on my nose and sweep it under like this, and then i put it up here because you guys well, first of all, you're supposed to bronze here anyway, But i have major sun damage up here and it has just showed up like this year, like i've. Never noticed it before but like it's like splotchy, and i don't know how you fix that, like i don't know if a chemical peel will fix that or what but next thing we're going to go in with is some cream blush. This is by jouer, and it's in the color inspire all of the um. Words are like gone off of this because i've used it so much um, but i think this is the prettiest blush ever and i love it so much and i'll probably repurchase this once it goes out, and i know everybody talks about the rare beauty like cream Blushes or whatever, but this is slept on you guys it's so good, so yeah and i look like a clown right now, like with the hair and all but anyways um. I go pretty heavy on the blush, because blush is like the first thing that like goes away, so if it's a little intense at first, it's it's totally fine. What is this? It is some like powder bronzer, so we're gon na take this and just kind of set the cheek area um. Basically i just dust it though i don't like do any craziness, just to kind of set that cream bronzer and then i'll take um. This bronzer, sometimes not all the time, but sometimes where is it i'll? Take this one and go in with like a brush like this, and i will just um kind of contour a little bit just a little bit and that's if my face is like looking a little puffy and then i'll kind of contour, my nose a little bit. He decided to join us. She is watching some puppies on tick, tock right now, so excuse anything that you hear, but so for shadow. By the way i already did my brows because they take so long. I have a full brow routine, like on my channel here, i'll link it down below for you guys, if you're interested in that. But basically all i do these are like wet and wild shadows. Is i just take a neutral one and just go with my well? Not even in my crease i just go like over the whole lid sadie turn it down. I got this liner pencil by maybelline tattoo studio. It'S just like a little like nude liner and i'm gon na put this in my waterline to see. If it does anything now, i haven't put anything in my waterline for years like i don't wear eyeliner or anything like that, but um i just want to see if it like brightens or does anything um so for mascara, i'm gon na. Do this essence, a princess mascara, i've heard tons of great things about this. However, you guys know i am ride or die from maybelline lash sensational water, here's sadie back there um so anyways. I probably i'm not gon na be able to apply this correctly on camera. So yeah i'm gon na do these nars lip balms. This one is in the color fast lane and then this one is in the color deep throat, so i'm just gon na mix them and they are just balms like i have been obsessed with them. They feel like chapstick and they make your lips look like nice and juicy and hydrated. So that's what we're doing um and then i'm gon na put this one on top of it, because it has like more like sparkles in it. I don't know if you guys can see that but okay now that is the finished makeup by the way and i'll probably do a couple more coats of mascara she's, big she's, real big. I mean it's really curly and like voluminous but um. She needs some taming for sure, like the bangs were probably like too much like what is this um yeah uh, okay, so hmm, i might need to try to like fix this. Somehow bye, i'm gon na show you guys from the back so okay. So i got my flat iron and i'm gon na try to flat iron. This part sadie. Actually um and then what should we do to style it, because this is a bit too much? Okay, i'm gon na put a little bit of this um redken argan oil in it just to kind of smooth out the frizz on the ends. It'S not like super frizzy um, but just just a little and then i'm actually going to take my brush and just brush through it sadie. What are you doing y'all? That is the finished. Look.
