Hey guys welcome back to another video, it's been a while, since i've done some heatless curls, so i thought today i would bring out my flexi rods again and attempt to curl my super long hair. That'S almost down to my knees. My hair is super heavy, so that makes it hang straight. So it's going to be interesting to see if these curls are even going to hold when my hair was shorter and by short i mean down to my waist. It had a lot more natural waves and texture, which i absolutely loved, but i gave that up to have long hair. We can't have it all. Actually that is a limiting belief. We can have it all, and i did wash my hair prior to this. So my hair is around 88 percent dry. I just left it a little bit damp, so the curls would hold better, but let's get curling this long mane. So i'm starting off by giving my hair a good brush. So i don't have any tangles or mattes and then i'm just applying a squirt of argan oil to my hair to keep it a bit conditioned while it's in the flexi rods and now i'm just separating my bangs from the rest of my hair. I absolutely despise these bangs. I cannot wait for the day they grow out completely. I am done with bangs, please you guys. Never let me cut them again, i'm just pinning them back, so i don't have to deal with them. So i like to dampen my hair. Just a bit you're going to get better curls this way. This is just a spray bottle that i filled up with water. There'S no product in here. It'S just water and then starting from the bottom of your hair, just place that flexi rod underneath and start curling up. I recommend placing it on the underside of your hair rather than over your hair. If you catch my drift and as you can see, this was a challenge for me. My hair kept getting all weird at the top, so i literally spent 10 minutes just putting this one rod in and i realized i had too much hair for the one rod. So i just took a smaller section and that worked a lot better and once you get to the top just bend that rod and it should stay in place. I didn't section my hair in any special way. I just started grabbing random sections of my hair and hoping for the best, but you can definitely part your hair and do it in a more thought-out way. But i just went for it because i have a lot of hair and i didn't want to take the time to section it off, and then i just continued doing this for the rest of my hair and as i went along, i took a few rods out And redid them i just had too much hair in a few of them, so i made the section smaller and added more rods and i think, all together i used around 16 rods and finally, after an hour, i had the rods in place. It was quite the arm, workout, honestly curling, long hair. This way is kind of difficult. Then i sprayed it with a bit more water and then put on my silk hair bonnet, which i will link down below in the description, because it is the best thing ever and it was really good at protecting the curls overnight and just kind of decreasing frizz. I highly recommend this step and now time to go to sleep. I will admit sleeping with these rods in was the most uncomfortable sleep for my head. If you have shorter hair, it's going to be a lot more comfortable, but one thing that was comfortable was my birch mattress. So thank you birch for sponsoring today's video. If you don't know already, i am the biggest fan of birch mattresses. I think they are the best mattresses in existence. Birch makes non-toxic organic mattresses and they are incredibly comfortable. I'Ve had mine for a couple of years and have had nothing but a good experience with it, so they have their original birch mattress as well as their upgraded birch luxe mattress, which i'm currently using and the birch luxe is made with organic cashmere. Organic new zealand wool, fair trade, cotton, north american steel springs and natural latex. All their mattresses are made in the usa and the natural materials just allow for increased airflow to help keep you cool and comfortable. While you sleep, the natural non-toxic latex relieves pressure points, while the targeted zone lumbar support provides enhanced contouring. But what i love most about birch is that they have many third-party certifications, so they've done tons of testing to ensure their products are free from a long list of chemicals. Things like vocs heavy metals, pesticides, phthalates, formaldehyde pollutants, all sorts of different things that you just do not want to be exposed to, and a lot of us don't realize that traditional foam mattresses are off-gassing a lot of chemicals, and you guys know my health is so Important to me as it should be for everyone, so that's why i love birch so much and they ship the mattress straight to your door in a box. It'S super easy! You just take it out of the box roll it out and there you have it. Your mattress, so you can click the link down below in the description box or go to birchliving.com holistic habits for up to four hundred dollars off your mattress plus two free pillows and another awesome thing about birch, is that their mattresses come with a 25 year. Warranty plus a 100 night sleep trial, so you can try the mattress out for three months and if you're, not in love with it, you can get a full refund, but i know that you're gon na love it all right. Moving on to the results it's the next morning, so let's take these babies out and see what we're working with my hair kept getting caught as i was taking them out. So i definitely lost a few strands, probably caused a bit of damage. Some of the curls were really pretty, and others just looked kind of frizzy and limp, so i'm not really sure what i did wrong there. I wish all them turned out like this bouncy one, and this is how it looked honestly. It was a bit frizzy and dry feeling, so i wouldn't call it a success, but i also wouldn't call it a complete failure. I had fun doing it for the video, but i would never do this just for everyday life because it was time consuming uncomfortable and honestly, the curls didn't even last very long for me. I think it looked really cute when it was up, though so i just kind of played around with it, and i love how big my bun was when i twisted it up and just secured it with a claw clip. But let's put on a little bit of makeup just to make it a bit more glamorous and then i'll finish styling, my hair. Afterwards, all the makeup i'm using is non-toxic and cruelty free. As always, so i'm just starting by applying the new fit glow foundation in shade 2.5 and just blending that in a bit i don't usually wear foundation because i just do not like the feeling, but i wanted to do full makeup today, since i had these curls. So, let's just go for it and then i applied a bit of the fit glow concealer in shade 2.5. I used 2.5 for both the foundation and the concealer, and this concealer is the best. Then i did my eyebrows with my plume beauty, eyebrow pencil in shade ashy daybreak and then use their new brow gel also in shade ashy daybreak and their shade. Ashy daybreak is the perfect match for me and then i applied some cream blush from fit glow beauty in the shade buff. It'S super pretty just gives a really beautiful natural flush, and then i decided to do a cat eye just to be extra glamorous. So i used my ilia beauty liquid liner, which is the best clean beauty liquid liner, it stays put, and the tip is perfect. It makes it so easy to apply. Then i applied the fake glow, beady, plum, lash primer and their mascara. I'M actually kind of getting annoyed with myself how many times i'm saying fit glow beauty, but i just want to let you guys know what i'm using. Then i line my lips with the fit glow lip liner in the shade buff, which is my all time. Favorite lip liner, i love it so much and then i applied the fit glow beauty. Lip color serum in the shade rose, which again my favorite lip product. Now, let's take this hair down and i decided to put it in a ponytail because i think it looks super chic with a cat eye. It just gives that very snatched look and, as you can see, i was struggling to get my hair into a ponytail and i'm not gon na lie. It was kind of painful but pain for beauty. Right now, once i finally got that ponytail in after about five minutes, i just smoothed out the top of my hair with a comb, because it did look quite frizzy in real life. You can't really see it as much on camera, but it was frizzy and my bangs kept coming out which really annoyed me, and then i have this secret tip for you. So plume just came out with this amazing new hair stick called instant hairline and it just fills in any sparse areas. So my hair is sparse on the side. That'S just the way i was born and you can see it when i wear my hair in a bun or a ponytail, so i had a sample and just used it to perfect my hairline and then i took my earrings out and put in some chunky gold Hoops because i think that looks really elegant with a ponytail and cat eye and then i changed into my current favorite jumpsuit. I bought this when i was in ojai california i'll see if i can find it online and then i'll link it down below. I love it. I love the high neck. I love the open back, it's super comfortable and ta-da. This is my finished. Look. The ponytail was heavy and painful, so i couldn't keep it in for long and the curls also didn't last that long, because i didn't use any hair styling products, but it was so fun making this video for you guys and i hope you enjoyed it. I do want to try other methods of curling, my long hair, so if you guys think of anything, let me know follow me on instagram holistic habits. I love you guys so much and i'll see you in my next video bye,

holistichabits: How do you think my curls turned out?!??! If you're looking for a comfortable, non-toxic mattress, visit https://birchliving.com/holistichabits to get $400 off your Birch mattress, plus two free pillows. #birchliving

luckyDancer100: We have all had the awkward bang grow out lmao. Once they get behind the ears, you’re golden.

MakeUpWitch: You look so classy in that hairstyle and outfit! I stopped styling my hair, let alone attempting to curl it, when it was down to my tail bone. Now it's down to my knees. I sleep with my hair in a braid and when I braid my hair while it's still a bit damp, the waves last for 30 minutes or so. So I don't even bother trying to achieve curls or anything. But to be honest, I love my hair the way it naturally is. I'm just grateful to have healthy long hair.

Janae Shai: Pro tip (from a licensed cosmetologist and a curly girl whose grown up using flexi-rods) ROLL THE RODS IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION OF YOUR FACE. Curling towards your face is going to give you “church curls” while going away from your face is much more flattering and opens your face more ❤️

Stars A: The only way I can get my hair to "curl" is actually a braid wave type style. My hair is very thick so when its wet, I use Pink Lustre Hair Lotion then braid my hair. I leave it braided until its fully dry (usually the next day). When i take the braids out my hair is nicely curly/wavy.

holisticmaya: I freaking love that finished look, the makeup, the hairstyle, earrings, jumpsuit, just wow! That sony camera has such a good image as well by the way. And great voice over quality, now that I know how much work and intention you put into it, I appreciate it even more! So much love to you Sarah

Darkhorse3211: Sarah!! It’s beautiful!! But I know those rods HURT to sleep on. A few tips I found helpful—no oils—the oils create slip and the curl will fall. I found this out and while I rarely curled my hair (it was about tailbone length), I did find this helped me for the few events I wanted curls for. Smaller sections is key. I found the larger sections just didn’t stay for me. Have you tried rag curls? Those aren’t hard—pin curling your hair would take about 1000 pins and even more hours to do that, but rag curls are quite easy—well, you have to cut up bits of old fabric, but they are more comfortable to sleep in. Also, sponge curlers will give you the best curl, but when I did it, I looked like Shirley Temple come morning :D Your pant suit is STUNNING -love this look. Thanks for sharing!

Ida Dias: I was really worried about my exams tomorrow and then I saw you posted i clicked as fast as i can!! I feel stress free now!! It's really so nice to watch your videos!! I am always happy when you post!! Edit: I finished watching the video rn and let me tell you those curls look really beautiful!!

Navneet Kumar: May your hair stay always long and beautiful.

ahoward: Such beautiful curls! I understand why it isn’t something you’d want to do all the time though. It’s a lot of work! I just had 5 inches cut off my hair and it was down to my waist. I didn’t want to, but I’m going away for a year and I know I won’t be able to get my haircut often while I’m gone because I’ll be living fairly remotely off the grid. However that gives me time to grow it out healthy and still be able to manage it. Have a beautiful day!

friendoftherese1: I have waist length hair, and as much as I love it, there are downsides. Does your hair get caught in the car door and window? Does it get in the way when you're cleaning? These are not big issues and I will never cut my hair (I'm 62 and planning on being that eccentric old lady with long grey hair!). Do you have any issues with your absolutely beautiful long hair?

Amna S: So gorgeous! Thank you for making this video even though it hurt

Sarah Isabella: Wow the hair is long at the moment I reached my at the moment-maximum length this spring, my hair was a little bit longer than waist length. Now I’m back at midback/ bra strap length and super happy. Also curls and waves don’t hold long in my hair, it’s just so much that my natural waves rarely ever come out

Tsukipie: Curls suit you so much! I also relate to having mild wavy hair but it's gotten to the point of just being straight because it's so long. I find having layers in my hair really helps with still having some texture and volume, but to each their own ♡

karla valencia: Girl you look amazingly fit. You look beautiful with front bangs. We all want to even when we’re over that fave of course. Don’t give up on from bangs please also A braid will make it wavy or robes heartless curls are a thing. Look it up

al schmidt: You really are a classic beauty. Such incredibly gorgeous hair.

Crystal Lilly: I just love you Sara, thank you so much for all of your insightful and fun content.

Seidiella: Beautiful ❤️❤️ I also love how long my hair is, finally past my behind:) hehe I love watching your videos! I've missed them

Lisa J: This look suits you very well! I loved the video

Lesley Elder: Your hair looks beautiful Love your videos Take care

Les Recettes de Louizzette: Wow le résultat est magnifique ! J'ai déjà testé les flexibles pour boucles et je confirme, ça marche trop bien

Karmeeni: You are beautiful Sarah, those curls came out really good!

Glacier: oh my gosh I bought some cause I never do anything with my hair!! It was too painful to sleep with them in so I was like nope I'll do it in the morning. I had no patience because it was so uncomfortable They came out okay but did not last at all and my hair is only about butt length. You should try the U shaped curling band that you wrap your hair around. You can actually sleep in those lol

KatzeNichtGefunden: Always stunning! ❤️❤️

Stardust 88: you look absolutely gorgeous and the jumpsuit is perfect for you ! thankyou for this upload ,looked like a lot of work curling your long hair but the ponytail def looked supercute i love your videos! please upload more

vickienna: Hi Sarah! Love it every time you upload

Linda Toll: you won‘t believe how much I wanted a calming, voiceover hair video

Li Qian: Omg I've waited so long for your next video. It's good to see you again Sarah!!

יעל א: um. WOW. the hair, the curls, the outfit, the jewelry. everything. you are stunning.

Cevina Helmy: Thank you so much for your super helpful videos ❤️❤️❤️

Mandi Mom Of 8 Channel: THIS is the video we've all been waiting for

Doris Ford: Love your hair! Try a silk heatless curler set with silk scrunchies to hold your hair on the curler. You may 2 curler sets for your hair. I’d like to see how it’ll curl your hair.

Stardust 88: Your voice is so soothing even when advertising the mattress i was enjoying the sound d of your voice

Toto Sobhy: You can use flaxseed gel instead of water it will hold the curls better and longer

Linda Toll: you won‘t believe how much I wanted a calming, voiceover hair video

Lauren Jane: I’m obsessed with your arms - would you share your arm workout with us please? They’re literally amazing- great work! I’d love to try for these myself!

naia: They look so good omg!!

Luigi Ivo Ratto: Sara sei qualcosa di straordinariamente pazzesco MERAVIGLIOSA. Ti adoro, amo I tuoi lunghissimi capelli incantevoli. Aspetto ogni volta i tuoi bellissimi video. FANTASTICA MERAVIGLIOSA STRAORDINARIA Sara ❤❤

Syeda Anjum: Love watching your videos thank you for sharing love this video.☺️☺️

Katy Tejada: Your videos are heaven ❤️

heidi_heidi_: I like the curly bits in there. I think you might get better results with heat. Also sleeping with them and moving around in bed, etc is probably what caused the frizziness. Your hair looks naturally wavy (not straight) when it was waist length, which is already quite long. I guess you are a 2b, which could curl for at least a bit of time with the right tools. But because it is so long, the weight of the hair takes away the natural wave that you have. I guess those are the breaks!

Li: Wow the jumpsuit is a must haveSo beautiful

FitnLovinit: My hair is right past my waist and it always falls out of the rods bc it’s so heavy. I wish I could get them to stay lol

Gnanam Eishwar: Your hair is gorgeous Sarah

Speler Een: Hi love your videos ❤ can you please do a video how to get rid of lice in a natural way? Thank you for inspiring me

adumelial rothstein: Use flax seed gel? Also, look into curlers that are more sturdy for this "job". Your hair is a thing of mezmerising proportions Sarah. I just adore your videos. And you have really inspired me to go for the long look. It just suits me even at 61 yrs of age. I really have to fend off the people who want me to go for a cut. My hairdresser of all is the funniest at what she says for the "whys" to cut. But it is obvious why she would want me to cut it. Too "Captain Obvious"....lol. Long hair makes me feel sexy and on the free spirited side, which I am. I also just love being a twiddler of my now waist long locks. My hair is fun to play with. Whether it is a knot, (my granddaughters are in awe of my hair knot), a braid, or just making sure my kinks get the end curl. Because my hair is naturally kinky curly, I have in the past went for the layered look just because my hair is uber thick and fine. I still have a lot of body. Not much gray thankfully. And the ends still insist on their ringlets. I've been able to find some amazing products to help my hair along its be ling journey. Next, I will be trying a weekly Neem scalp and hair soak. I will be mixing the Neem powder with a special brand of castor oil. So double the whammy eh? Love you lady! Stay sweet and stay healthy. ❤

Mike H.: Great job Ms. Sarah.

danicc08: Can you make a updated haircare routine with all your current favorites?

BTS and ME{busy}: Your hair's Can you share more tips to grow hair

shabbydeb: I have long hair... tried those curlers... it was terrible with hair getting wrapped around and knotted on the plastic ends I THREW THEM OUT!! I will never buy or use them again. Love the video... thank you for sharing!! xox

Cesar Benji: You are so sweet and beauty !!! I love your very long hair !!!

Judy abbott: Oooooh I love ur hair How do I make my hair look like yours ?????

aki tapani: Amazing Longhair women

valentina v: I'd like to ask for advice, I have almost waist length wavy hair and I'll have to trim it soon, I'd like to get a long wolf cut to layer the hair on the back, it shoul help my hair get wavy on it's own. Is it a good idea or should I stick with all the hair being around the same length?

شوشة شوشة: Wow Beautiful ❤

사믹샤: I have been trying to think of who this lady in the video reminds me of. Finally it came to me: Annie Lennox the singer

qwerty🫧: I wish I was tall like you Sarah

6Meilin: Omg how can you have so long and so much hair??

barbaraterracciano1: Goddess!

vincmentaria: your hair is s amasing^^

Mystic The Horse Lover: That looks so pretty! My hair is naturally curly and a little below my waist. I can definitely understand that your hair is straight because it's so long. If my hair was short, like it was when I was little when it was growing out, it'd just be full of curls. It's still curly at the ends especially but if I keep growing it out it'd probably start becoming less curly. And I can definitely see why you're growing out your bangs, it just seems like they'd get annoying to have to deal with. I've never had any and probably never will, and I'd probably break out if I had them. Loved the video, and that outfit and hairstyle looks amazing!

milsal22: Cant believe your hair is knee length

Trey Hale: Does your hair get in the way when it is down
