Occasionally I am lucky enough to be sent products/clothing free of charge by PR companies, meaning, I may not have paid for everything I talk about. I am not in ANY way obligated to mention these products and if I have done so, it is because I genuinely like them. I would NEVER talk about or show something I didn't genuinely love.

Sometimes, I may be sponsored by brands for videos. I turn down 90% of sponsorship opportunities. I will not accept unless I love the brand/product already. All products/items will still have been chosen by myself, and the video concept will always be my own idea. I would never endorse a brand/product that I didn't truly love and believe in.

I use affiliate links in the description box of this channel. This means I earn a very small percentage when you purchase a product I recommend- the same way a sales associate in a store earns commission when they help you select a product. I get asked questions all the time like. Oh my god, your hair looks so nice. Did you get a blow dryer, I'm like? No or sometimes I say yes, hi everyone and welcome back to my channel. So after my spring fashion, edit my entire week the holes from the week before last, I want to bring you guys something completely different. And ever since I got my french cut, I was kind of inspired just to change up my entire hair routine, and I have never - and I mean never got so many messages from you guys asking me how I'm styling my hair and if I can show how I'M doing it and I haven't done a hair tutorial in literally years, if you're new here today, please do subscribe and if you already a subscriber basically YouTube, has finally admitted that it's not just enough to subscribe anymore. You do have to hit the notification bell. If you do want to be alerted, or even have my videos appear in your subscription box, so if you guys could do that for me, I would be so so grateful also, please do comment and follow me on Instagram. I update you guys with my daily life like every single day and of course, I post all my outfits and my travel photos for you for some inspiration, so make sure you guys come and follow me. It is at Freddie, you, okay, I'm so sorry come here. So sorry, do you forgive me? So if you want to go straight to the tutorial, then I would probably skip forward a little bit because first, I'm just gon na talk a little bit about the fringe about. You know what I asked for when I got it cut and everything I've had so many questions. It'S crazy. I really didn't expect people to be so interested, but you guys are. I'Ve also had so many messages from people saying that I really inspired them to go and get the fringe cuts honestly, getting this fringe cut is the best thing I've done in so long for my self confidence, my self-esteem and it's crazy, because I'm a person that Hates change I always have. I don't even want anything to change. I'Ve had the same cereal in the morning since I was like 15, I'm just really really boring and I've wanted a hairstyle like this. For years I mean all of my beauty and style icons. All from like the fifties and sixties, like Brigitte Bardot, for example, is the main inspiration behind this fringe. I really never had the confidence to do it and I even used to go to the hairdresser's when I got my hair cut and ask them to make. Like short bits to up to here, because I kind of wanted to have that - I was too scared to like rego for her and then for some reason a few weeks ago. I have no idea what came over me, but I just decided that I was gon na. Take the plunge and just do it honestly. I think I did a poll and more than half of people said no had so many messages. Saying no don't do that Freddie. Don'T do it to yourself, it won't look good, it look horrible, you regret it bubble bubble blah, but as you guys know, I mean I love you all dearly. I respect you, but I don't really care what anyone thinks. I'M always just gon na do what I want to do, which is what I did so I went to Daniel Galvan one of my favorite London salons, and I got the fringe cut and it was really weird because normally if I was doing something like that, I Would have like an anxiety had we start there, I'd feel sick could have butterflies, I'd be panicking, but I was so calm and my boyfriend came with me and he was like. Aren'T you nervous because he knows what I'm like and I was like? No I'm not nervous at all, like. I know that I'm supposed to do this and I just did it and even the girl Olivia who cut my hair she was like. Are you sure don't wait to cut it long so that it's not like as drastic? It'S? Not like a short fringe, it could just look like it's kind of grown out and I was like no. I want it short and want proper, proper head like curtain fringe and she was like okay and we did it and I was literally sat there. I screamed and she was like what, but I was like. I love it and the honest truth is even though it was a big change for me. I have never felt more like myself with this hairstyle and it's so funny, because some of my subscribers and followers like you really know me, because I've had so many messages and comments saying I didn't think you could be more Freddie. But you just became more Freddie and I'm like right. That'S exactly how I feel, and now I think I look more like a young, sophisticated woman rather than like a girl. You know the messages that I've got about. My hair. I'Ve been so touching. It'S weird how something as seemingly trivial and sort of superficial as hair can make such a difference. To your, like, I said my self-esteem, my confidence, I literally feel like a new woman, and it's amazing, although I do just have to express my astonishment at the pure audacity of some people, telling me that it looked bad when I'd cut it I was like. Would you go up to someone littering off? They just had their hair cut in the hairdresser's in the street and say that looks bad like no. You wouldn't like there's clearly nothing I can do about it at this point. So you're not really helping you're just being mean, and then those are people like. Well, you a strong opinion and I was like yes before I did it not afterwards. Basically, if you are one of those people check yourself and your manners, it is extremely uncivilized, but anyway, I'm so so happy with my hair, and I really just like urge people if you have an itch, if you feel that you want to do something just do It especially with the hair like it grows back so now, let's get into the tutorial, I'm gon na show you how I create. This basically looks like I've had a blow-dry in a salon, and I get asked questions all the time like. Oh, my god, your hair looks so nice. Did you get a blow-dryer, I'm like? No or sometimes I say yes, but today I'm going to share my secrets and show you how I achieve this hallux. I really hope you guys enjoy it so guys, I'm starting with my hair, wet I've just washed it well. I'Ve had it out of the shower for about an hour and a half I like to let it air dry a little bit and as you can see, it goes a little bit crazy, which is why I blow-dry it. But I don't really like blow-drying it from completely wet, because it's too time-consuming it hurts my arms and also I like to put as little heat on my hair as possible, and I thought it would quickly just talk you through some of the products that I use On my hair people ask me all the time and these shampoos and conditioners and products that I use on my hair and, to be honest, I use any shampoo and conditioner like I don't use specific ones. I just choose ones in Boots that smell nice. Usually my favorites and the same with like styling products, I get sent a lot of products to try and I don't really think that they make a huge impact on the way my hair looks. I think using products and general helps, but I don't use anything specific. Basically, I just use whatever I have in that moment. I will just show you some of the stuff that I do use on my hair before I style it, so I always put in a little heat protectant spray. This is the GHD one and it has UV protection as well, which I like to take this on holiday in the heat and actually spray it on my hair when it's dry before I go out in the Sun, and I've never really used to bother using these. But all the hairdresser said to me that you really should be using it if you're using heats on your hair regularly, which I do so. I just spray that through I also like to use a little cream or serum on the ends of my hair. Just to stop them getting too dry, and this is one that I use quite regularly and for a long time and it's the evader, which is where I get my color done. I love them and damage remedy daily, hair repair treatment and it has plant proteins in evaders all about like natural products and stuff, so they always smell really nice, and then I have a couple of products here that I do actually use quite a lot. This is john frieda luxurious balding perfectly full moves. I haven't been using a buggy mousse for very long at all and because I never any thoughts that I should, because I have really really thick hair. I mean every time I go to the hairdresser's. I have like two people brushing it after it's been washed or two people blow-drying it, but it kind of gives me the opposite effect, because it's so thick and heavy and long and it goes really really flat and it just like hangs and the curls drop. And it's really flat like around the top of my head, so I like to use a little bit of mousse that is literally the most satisfying thing ever. Oh, my god, I probably done too much, and I just like to scrunch this. It is top of my hair, like not really that ends kind of like the top, the top half of my hair, so yeah, I just scrunch that all in until it's all absorbed - and it also kind of gives my hair less bit of texture as well, which Helps the curls hold because - and my hair is very silky, like naturally has a very soft smooth, silky slippery texture. So it's really sometimes hard to style and hold a style. So I think that the mousse just helps give it a little bit of hold and texture and then the last thing I would consider using because I've already put quite a few products in my hair and but it's so amazing. It'S been bred ken diamond oil. This stuff is literally amazing. It basically makes your blow-dry twice as quick like I don't know how it works. I wasn't expecting it to work when I got it and then I used it, and I was like oh my god, it does actually work. So I'm not going to use this today because my hair's already kind of like half dry, but if I do ever have to do my hair in a brush and blow-dry it from wet, like soaking, wet I've put loads of this in and I'm telling you like It really really works and I've got my products in I just brush out all the knots in my hair take out all the curls and make it nice and straight and I'm just using my tangle teezer wet detangler brush. Now I'm going to blow dry my hair and I use the GHD air and I'm using this brush to blow-dry with, and this is by a brand called t3 - and I guess it's just called a big round barrel blow-dry brush so yeah. Let'S get going. Usually I'm not wearing lip gloss. I bow down my hair. I would not recommend that blow-drying always really ties me out, and sometimes I have to have a break after one half before I start the next. Are it hurts my arms? It'S like a workout, I'm not even joking. I literally did just have a little five-minute phone break and now I'm gon na do the other side. Quite a good tip I have is to blow dry your hair upwards, just like pull the hair and the brush upwards. Rather than downwards like this, because I think it just encourages it to like lift more I've been having a spurt more body, especially in the roots, rather than like pulling it down, encouraging it to like hatten and then something idea that you just missed. Is I get up and tip my head upside down and just blast the air upwards into the hair, and it literally makes it go wild, but it does add a little bit more body to it, which I love. So you know just brush this out now. So now my hair is all nice and dry and shiny and lovely I'm going to style it. So up until I got my fringe cut, which was three weeks ago now or a month ago I used to just tone my hair with a curling Tong. I'Ve done a tutorial on this before so I'll link it down below, but it was my kind of everyday get ready with me, and I show you how I do my hair, but when I got the fringe cut, I was just kind of like inspired to just Change up my hair routine altogether, because I was really excited by and everything so all I've been doing now for the past month or so is using heated rollers. So these are my heated rollers from Fabolous, and I've had these for a few years now and I really really like them, you get twelve like medium sized rollers and I never think it's gon na be enough when I'm doing my hair - and it always is enough - And I usually have a spare one as well and they're, absolutely brilliant. You just hit the switch at the back and wait for them to heat up, and I usually take like five minutes to heat up and will tell of about it is the clips are also heated so when you secure it in place, there's just more heat and More hold, I'm not gon na lie. It was kind of the box that drew me to them in the first place a few years ago, because how cute is the box, but they really are so good. I think these were fifty pounds. I'Ve got them from ASOS, so I'll, try and link them down below if I can find them, but fifty pounds. I hope it kind of sounds like a lot when you think about most hair tongs will be around that price, maybe a bit less, but the hairstyle. You can create, it literally looks like you've had a professional, blow-dry and blow dries cost like 30 pounds of times when you look at it. That way, it's a steal so just because my hair can be a little bit of a pain in the butt for holding a curl or holding any style for that matter. I do just give it a little spritz of hairspray, I'm before I styler. So this one is the Loreal Elnett satin, and this one is the extra strength with precious argan oil and I've got the gigantic one. I love this stuff, I love the smell. It just brings back so many memories. For me, I could literally just like, sits and inhaler. I know I really shouldn't do that so yeah. I was like to give it a little spray at beforehand. So now I'm going to show you how I put my heated rollers in, I think I'm just gon na lift the camera up slightly because my hair is so long. It'S gon na go way off camera. Okay, that's a little bit better! Now you can see what I'm doing so, I'm going to start with this little piece at the front, and then I take the first roller, which is very hot place it behind the hair and then just kind of wrap. The tail end of the piece around the roller and then bring the whole thing in really really really tight to my head, so much that it kind of hurts a little bit, but it is kind of important just so it can stay and not flop out. It'S gon na take one of the heated clips and clip it in from behind, like that, and I do kind of try and do it a little bit symmetrically. So if I've done that side I'll do the same to the other side, which is hard on camera by the way, because I'm not looking in the mirror what's also really nice about these rollers - is that the barrel is actually velvet. So it doesn't like singe your hair. It'S not really really harsh on your hair, but the heat still just come through and really work, but it is a little bit more gentle on the hair and I'm just gon na take the back section at the top of my head and do this one like In the middle, like that I'd say I take kind of medium sections of hair because you don't want it to be like a tight little curl and you want it to be a big, loose curl, but also I'm not too big. But the heat can't get through to the hair, so I'll just show you one final piece of hair and then I will skip forward because I can imagine this is getting a little bit boring. So now the rollers up, all in I'm gon na give them a little spritz of hairspray and just leave them there to set. Whilst I work on the fringe, so as you can see, the fringe is looking very flat and just unstyled, so it definitely needs a little bit of attention, but it is completely dry. So what I've actually done - and this is a tip that the girl who cut my hair at Daniel Galvin, told me to do, and I bought this little spray I'm from boots. It was just like three pounds I tipped all the product out and just filled it up with water, and now it's just a nice little water mist to just dampen up the hair, especially the fringe. When I want to style it. So I'm gon na try and not get this on my face or the rest of my hair, but I'm just spritzing the hair to make it wet again. Look at that perfect! This is very similar to how I look when I've come out of the gym. So now I'm going to blow-dry my friend and I actually had to buy a new brush to blow John, my friends. I was doing it with this and it just wasn't. Then I realized it probably cuz, it's too big, so I bought this one just from boots. It'S a Denman which I love, I love Denman brush is just a really small barrel brush and this literally works perfectly. So, let's give it a go. I haven't been doing this for very long guys. I'Ve only had this for a few weeks, so I don't get it perfect. The first time around every time have I done it. I can't see so I just popped the fringe, like curtains, to go either side and that's pretty much how it looks. It just has a little bit of roundness and like volume to it, rather than just like sticking flat to my forehead and then, whilst I've got the hairdryer, this is another little tip I have for making your curl stay when you're using heated rollers is, I just Put it on the hottest setting and the lowest speed and just go over my rollers to reheat them, because at this point, they've completely cooled down. So I should really just take them out, but because I really want to maximize the hold I'm gon na reheat them with my hair dryer leave them in for a little bit longer spray them again and then take them out. Yes, it sounds like a lot of work involved, but really when you're doing it, you know every couple of days every few days you know you can do your makeup. We'Ll go. Have your breakfast while the roller set in it just kind of becomes part of your routine, and it just feels normal, so guys have had my rollers in for a while. Now I actually just went and had my dinner, so I am definitely ready to take them out, so yeah let's go and then the final robot so guys. This is how the hair looks with all the brawler's taken out, so I'm just gon na give it a final spray just on the end, and also a little bit in the roots just to keep that body. And then I take my full hair brush of the day. I use a lots of hair brushes okay, but they all do pretty different things like you kind of do need them all, and this is my favorite brush. This is my Denman soft bristle brush and it's perfect for finishing your look because it kind of just smoothes the hair without pulling on the hair and therefore like tugging out the curls and then I'll quickly, just go over the fringe as well. To make sure that's still nice and round so that is the finishing look. I just love my hair like this. The fringe was literally the best decision I have ever made. I just think adds that little like retro 60s flower. I love in my outfits and it just completes my whole style. I really hope you guys enjoyed the video. Thank you so so much for watching, and I will see you next week. Bye

Sarah Jane: "Check yourself and your manners, it is extremely uncivilised" - love this!!

E B: I’m LIVING for how high maintenance this daily routine is!!! It’s like watching a real-life Barbie

Rebecca Black: I voted against the fringe but think it looks fab on you Freddy! At the end of the day, only you can make decisions about you and I’m glad you did

Heather Valentine: Freddy, I really appreciate you standing up for yourself and for manners!! Thank you for taking a stand on etiquette and expecting more of everyone in the way they communicate. I think the heated rollers are a great idea, better than tongs. I will look at getting some. Keep doing what you're doing and being a voice for all that is good and joyful in world.

Sarah Behnke: Freddy, I absolutely LOVE your new fringe . It suites you so well!!

Lizzi Williamson: I have a fringe as well and don’t see many YouTubers doing hair tutorials for fringes so now my favourite YouTuber has a fringe I can find tips on how to style my hair and watch Freddy!

Pam P.: The fact that you weren't nervous shows that you were ready for a change, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that! Personally, I think you pull it off!

Brooklyn Benson: Omg I wish I had the time/motivation to blow dry my hair everyday

Hanna Jerzy: You have no idea how greatful I am for this tutorial! Recently my hairdresser had totally ruined my hair, so I went to another one to help me with the mess on my head and the only way was to get a fringe. I had no idea how to style it and I lost my confidence because I didn’t good with my image (I didn’t know a bad hairstyle can do this). Thank you so much Freddy, love you ❤️

Megan Withers: Freddy!!!! I just wanted to tell you that you genuinely inspired me to get some fringe and I have such anxiety about change too!! I feel like it completely changed my look and I love it!! I’m so happy I just went for it, you are such an inspiration! Lol ❤️

Angel1004: I think the fringe suits you really well :) I also had no fringe for like 7 years, but then 4 years ago I decided to cut a full fringe, which was a huge change! But so many people told me it suits me and now I couldn't imagine going out without my fringe :)

Anna Idzikowska: This is exactly the video I was hoping to see <3 I love it. Thanks to you Freddy I have hairdresser appointment in a week to cut my fringe, even thought I always consider myself as no fringe type of girl

emmalcm: Love your hair Freddy! I have used hot rollers for years, actually because I mentioned to my hairdresser that I wished I could do a nice blow dry on myself (definitely a skill!) and she told me hot rollers would give the same effect. I always wonder why tongs are so much more popular because I love how I can quickly put in my rollers and do my makeup while they cool down.

Becca: Only like 7 min in but you seriously look so gorgeous with your natural beachy wave! I love it! You could literally pull off any hair look!

hannah: Just got the fringe cut done like half an hour ago and you really gave me the confidence to do it since I wanted to do it for years! Thank you for that!✨

Jill Martin: I am a massive fringe fan, I have had one most of my life and love it. Your haircut suits you and ignore the naysayers, it looks great.

Hayley Claire: Love the fringe, love you who has time for people who are all negative Nancy about people doing things that make them SO happy? Great video and a huge thumbs up for haul week, I’m always in awe of the effort you put in! ❤️❤️

Hebaa Isk: I got my hair cut last week and got a fringe. Absolutely love it ❤️

Marni: I have waist-length hair and you have me considering a fringe too! I'd probably go a little longer to suit my face shape, but now I'm excited for a change! Your hair looks great -- as always, haters are just jealous!

AmberKristinaStyle: Your fringe so suits you!! Loved this tutorial xx

Ava Terroni: I don't know why some were so against it because you look absolutely stunning with this hair

Emily Hendricks: Great video babe! You are such an inspiration to me. You have made me become more cautious about how I treat my hair and skin. Thnx babe for the great video & inspo! Can't wait for the next one! <3

Annalise Vézina: Oh, Freddy! At first, when you got the fringe, I was really really nervous because I am just like you and I hate hate hate hate change so so so so much and I was so so nervous when you cut it, but now I could not be happier for you! I am so so proud that you have found your style that makes you happy and makes you feel confident! I really struggle with confidence issues because I just want everything to be as perfect as possible and look as good as it can because I value other people's opinions more than my own (I know, that's really bad but I truly can't help it!), and I just can not express how you are such an amazing person and just the most inspiring girl for me in my entire life! I love you more than anything and I wish you all the happiness and the magic in the world. ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

Lara Gaffney: I was one of those people who said no to the fringe when you posted the poll on you instagram stories but I am so glad you got it because it looks so amazing. I love fringes and would 100% get one myself if my hair wasn't so curly! (I tried it when I was about 10 and it was not a look.) Anyway, it suits you and your style so much - I love it!

Rimini Jade: I got a fringe 2 years ago and it was the best thing ever did I love it! It looks so beautiful on you

faizah Jameel: I really love this new look I feel like it makes you look more mature and classy than you already did before The cut.

Gillian Chitty: Your fringe is so vintage and gorgeous looking! It really suits you❤

MARRYMESOOJIN: I don’t know how anyone could say your fringe looks bad, it’s so cute and matches you so well. You inspired me to get a fringe which was such a big step/change for me. I went for those wispy bangs but sometimes turn them into curtain bangs. I feel so much more confident like this ❤️

Alina KP: I love your fringe so much! It looks so good ❤️

Estefania: I was actually one of the people that got inspired by your fringe. I had been wanting to do something different with my hair, and when I saw your hair I was in love!
