Hey everyone: it's Judy, Acevedo, bringing you my roller setting tutorial. I prefer to set the roller on freshly washed hair using a little conditioner. A wrapping lotion will work too. If you prefer a little extra hold using my rat tail comb. I'M going to part my hair into three sections to make it easier for me to set the rollers. The products and tools used for this tutorial are listed in the comment box below I'm using one and a half inch plastic rollers with no ridges or grooves bigger rollers. Allow me to stretch the hair and basically make it straight without the use of a flat iron to roll the hair, I'm going to first smooth out the hair with my rat tail comb. Next, I place the roller on the tip of the hair and roll in an upward motion towards my scalp. I always make sure to tuck the ends so that they'll dry nicely instead of frizzy when rolling, I make sure that the hair is taut, meaning there's no slack this way. The hair is completely stretched out when securing the roller make sure the rollers sit on the roots so that the roots get flattened out as the hair dries. I secure my rollers bobby pins as close to the root as possible to eliminate any root puffiness using conditioner to set. My rollers allows me to glide the bobby pins down towards the root easy. You can also use hair clips to make sure that the roller sits flatly on the roots of your hair. All right! Let'S do that, one more time after sectioning off another chunk of hair, I'm going to smooth the hair out with my rat tail comb. I want the hair to dry smooth so that it'll appear straight, so I'm going to detangle any knots before I set the roller next, I'm going to place the roller on the tip of the hair and roll the roller. In an upward motion towards my scalp, I tuck the ends so that my ends won't appear frizzy when the hair is dry. I roll the hair in an upward motion stretching the hair so that there's no slack the hair is completely stretched. Then I pin the rollers to the root of my hair. This will allow my roots to flatten as the hair dries. I glide the bobby pins close to the root of my hair, so that there's no puffiness at the roots. Then I use hair clips to make sure that the rollers are secured to my scalp. The hair clips are optional, they're not needed, but I like to use them to secure the rollers. Ok now this right here, oh no girl! This is not gon na work. If your roller looks like this, you are setting yourself up for failure and you will not like the results. This is not going to drive through you. If the hair is freezing on the roller, it will look pretty when you take the rollers down. So take a break, shake out your arms and try them in this clip. I have finished roller setting the center section of my hair and I'm moving on to my left side. The hair dried out a little bit before I started, so I spritz it with water before beginning to Roller set. I also wanted to mention that in this tutorial I had already applied my conditioner before beginning the process. When I conditioned my hair in the shower, I don't rinse out the conditioner entirely. I leave some of it in to use as my setting products. I, like my hair, to have motion once it's dry and I find that using a little conditioner is the best at making my hair light and full of motions. Once I'm done roller setting my hair, I use those in a dryer to dry my hair. It takes me about an hour and 45 minutes to fully dry my hair. Now, if you're worried about these image and put a dryer in safe way to dry, your hair simply does not reach high temperatures like the products. If it did, your rollers would mount I've. Never experienced heat damage with a little jar, but if you would like to play it safe, also air dry, your hair. Now that my hair is fully dry, I am going to go ahead and take down these rollers. Well, hello, there fabulous hey! Now I'm loving these results. My hair is soft, shiny and silky, and just look at all this movement and there you have it apply little hair gloss finger, comb, your hair and you are all set to go. There is so much you can do with this stretched. Hair, you can wrap it overnight for a more C straight hair style. You can also bantu knot it for wavy speech hair or you can pin curl it over night for bouncy waves. The options are endless. I cannot stop touching my hair, I'm so happy with my results. This here is my second day here after wrapping it overnight, you can check out more styles on my instagram @ applause. Thank you so much for your support like comment and subscribe for more videos.

He is coming back soon, don't wait to "see if", it will be too late, He wants us to live in beautiful Heaven with Him. Seek Him and you shall find Him, call on Him sincerely and He will answer. You are beautiful and precious to God. This World is full of deceit and sin disguised as rights and light but it will take your soul to damnation. Repent of your sins, accept Jesus as Saviour and ask Him to come into your heart and be your Lord. God will give you the Gift of His Holy Spirit if you truly desire to know Him as a best friend. I pray you make the righteous choice, blessings from God sister/brother!

Deja Miller: Would a leave in conditioner work also?

kxreviewer5: Hi Judy! My question is did you ever have a perm, and if so when you were transitioning what did you use? everyone tells me I don't need a perm, and I kind of agree ( I mean i only got relaxer once, twice a year) but it did take out some to the wave....I don't want to use heat and I feel like your hair texture is similar to mines....but how are you able to manage combing your hair/styling it without the struggle of puffiness, etc. Do you have a go to product that really allows you to mange your hair well without the roots being so puffy and challenging to get through?

Denise Marie Mouton: How long have you been natural?

jasmine robertson: beautiful
