Hi guys welcome back to my channel in today's video. We are going to talk all about hair glazes. I don't think of all the videos that I've talked about. You know hair, color and bleaching and toning, and all of that I don't think I've ever mentioned a hair glaze and it's definitely one of the most versatile services you can get. It benefits all hair types, all hair, colors and all haircuts. Obviously, is such a great add-on service at the salon. It'Ll just intensify your color it'll, make your color look more vibrant and it will just make your hair look just go off here and just so much shinier when just moisturizing and hydrating is just not enough. I always like to do a hair glaze on the hair, and it seems to just kind of fill it up, especially on blonds. It just makes it look more vibrant and just shinier more alive. So since I just told you how amazing hair glazes are for the hair, I wanted to tell you a little bit about what it is exactly so. A hair glaze is basically what it sounds like. It is glazing your hair. Imagine like kind of a glazed, doughnut or just kind of adds shine. It adds polished to the hair. That'S essentially what this is doing to your hair. Imagine kind of like a top coat on your favorite manicure. So, even if you have like bumps or anything kind of on your nail once you put that top coat, it just kind of makes everything look seamless, it makes the color look a little more vibrant and that's exactly what this does for your hair. So if you're investing a little dry or brittle in some areas, this is going to really just give that look of just like really healthy hair. Now is it actually fixing or healing anything from deep within the hair? It'S not. This is definitely more one of those services. That'S working on the outside of the hair. This does face it's not anything permanent, so treat it just as a toner, but a clear one. They know that there are glazes available like over the counter or like a drugstore versions, but a salon has had glass act, which is their shine glaze for months, probably almost a year now, and I've done them in here a couple times and the last time that I did it I was like. Oh my gosh. I can't believe that I, that all the services you can get on your hair - and I think I've ever mentioned this on my channel, so I'm going to go ahead and do that on my hair today and show you just step-by-step super super easy really easier than A toning shampoo, you don't have to mix anything. It comes already completely ready for you to use, so you just get the bottle. That already has the applicator tip and you just kind of you just turn until you hear the click and it's open and like ready to disperse through the hair, have olive hair all over me and I swear. I did a seed winter or a roller thing. Nothing to me, but it seems to be flying everywhere, she's like super shedding - and you can be amazing about this too, because it's not like color, you can actually save it. So there's enough product. I was very generous with it on my hair and I probably still have a little bit over a half. So definitely you can use this more than once. You just click the little nozzle back up and it's sealed and ready for next time. It also comes with gloves and just a lot staying. Your hair won't see your clothes, but it is a chemical, so so it's just nice to kind of protect your hands. So it comes with everything you need and it's super easy to apply. This is my hair. After I've just done it and my hair feels just light and airy and shiny, and I definitely think it always makes my hair look brighter. Obviously the product doesn't claims it's going to make your hair lighter, or you know, depending on whatever color you're starting with. But I definitely think that on blonds it does because anytime, the hair is just so shiny, it bounces more light off of it, so it makes it appear lighter. Sometimes, when my hair is looking kind of dry - and the last thing I want to do to it is another toner or toning shampoo, I will just do this and the next day everyone's like, oh, my gosh. What did you do to your hair and really it's just a glaze and also guys always remember a salon always offers us 50 % off any product. You guys know how much I absolutely love useful on products and basically salon quality products at almost drugstore prices. So leave the link and the discount code in the description box down below all right, so without any further chatter, let's just get into the video. So, as you can see, my hair does look kind of dull, the colors definitely as bright as I want it to be. The other thing too, because it is kind of a glaze and kind of like it just coats the hair and kind of seals it. The other great thing that this does is locked in your because, if you think about it well, this product is on your hair. It really is just being like a shield kind of to that color, and you want to do this on clean hair just so that you get the best results from this. Of course you want to concentrate on the mid-shaft to the ends, the most. That'S what you really, obviously, if you think about it like at the roots, your hair is normally pretty healthy. It'S the youngest hair! You have on your head, so we obviously want to saturate all of the hair, but just to keep in mind if you are kind of running low or whatever on the product. Definitely from mid-shaft to end is where we want to concentrate the product. So I'm just going to start applying it like that. If you want to apply it with kind of a bowl and brush you can do that too. I find this way so much easier. So that's the salon. When I do it, I definitely mix it into a bottle with a nozzle like this, and do it the exact same way and the second you put it on your hair. It already feels just so glazing and smooth and then we're going to work our way up. Okay, then I'm going to bring that over and grab a next section for this. You obviously don't need to be a precise as you are with color, but you do want to evenly saturate the hair. You want the all of your hair to get the benefits now and what I find the easiest way is towards the front of the hair and the top of the hair. Basically, the hair that gets the most stress throughout the day from you know just the elements and from heat styling tools and all of that, so I'm being way more precise with these like top sections and then through the rest, we can kind of grab bigger sections. It'Ll be a lot easier. Working in clean sections might take a little bit longer to apply, but you are ensuring that you're getting the most out of your product. Now that we've got the top we're going to go ahead and grab a cross section kind of from the back. So bringing that section up like this and applying, but just like we did to the other areas working to the ends and as soon as the ends are saturated, we work our way up all right. So now I'm just going to split the hair down the back. Bring it forward and work in sections like that, you can start in the back and kind of work your way forward, if that makes it a little bit easier for you, I'm going to grab the next section, I'm going to grab the next section back here and Bring that up so that the less hair I have down here, the less I have to bring forward and therefore making it a little bit easier. All right. So once you've got all the areas nicely saturated is nice to go over with kind of a comb and just kind of combing through all the products, just to make sure you have like a good distribution of product throughout the hair. All right. So now that we are nice and saturated through, we are going to let it process for about 15 to 20 minutes and then just rinse and shampoo and condition like normal, alright guys so there it is. This is a shampooed out and blown out. I didn't do much to blow I. I really want it to be kind of just honest with you guys and really just show you the natural shine. I didn't put any product I could have done. You know some like massive blowout and stuff that I really just wanted you guys to see it. This is just kind of air dried and then it went in with a small kind of round brush and added a little bit of beveling, but that is really it. I love the shine that it gives my hair and it just feels so weightless and just feels really fresh. So, if you've never had a glaze done to your hair, I would definitely recommend trying this out and if you have gotten one done, you know how amazing this is again. I'Ve left a link in the description box, so don't forget to check that out so anyway. I hope you are all doing well. I love you guys and I will see you in the next video bye

Katie Kent: People are saying that they can't see a difference but as a blonde, I can totally tell how much it improved your hair. So much more vibrant and shiny... I always love when my hairdresser does glazes on my hair. I never knew I could buy my own for so cheap! Thank you for sharing I'm buying that glaze right now!!

Jennifer Halpern: Thank you for talking about this product! I've used the John Frieda type ones before but this really improved the texture and look of my highlighted brunette hair. So much so that I got two individual compliments from people I see regularly, telling me how great my color looks! I bought a second tube. Love your videos, thanks for sharing your knowledge ❤️

Karen McCann: Your hair looks so amazing after that treatment. I can't believe the shine. You definitely can notice the difference in the after pic. I also love that your not wearing extensions. Your own natural hair is gorgeous enough! Love you Sylvia!❤ Hi Olive❤ and Adam!

Vincent Balducci: you can never go wrong with a glaze! Personally I tend to like the cream based glazes because the color result is deeper compared to a liquid glaze.

shellie petty: Excellent tutorial! No mindless chatter, straight to the point! Can this be used directly after coloring?

Jenna Coker: I didn't even know. I think I might have heard it one time but that's it. Hey, I am always up for making my hair look good and shiny plus affordable! Thank you for the video and love the makeup look especially the eyelashes!!

Chantelle Taylor: Hi Silvia, I was always wondering what a glaze for your hair did exactly! Thanks for the demo. Does this process damage your hair at all? Also, if this treatment has been done recently, would your hair still take in color?

Francesca Signorile: Hi there! I'm so glad you talked about this product because I've been looking for something like this for a long time. My hairdresser gave me some other product to do at home but it really dried out my hair. So I hope this one will do the trick. I want to ask you in the instructions it says to thoroughly rinse and then condition. In your video you said to wash and condition. Which one is the preferred method or does it matter? Thank you!

Heart&Soul: I have never tried hair glaze until now.. Got 3 tubes which will last me for a bit and effect is just stunning! Thank you for sharing this

Victoria Bourque: Hi! Thank you for this video, this is the first time I've heard of hair glaze. Your hair looked lovely before and even better afterwards! Thank you so much for the discount code- I didn't know if I could use it as I'm in the U.K. but it worked! Thank you sooooo much. I can't wait to try it when it arrives xxxx

Jennifer Simpson: I usually use the John Frieda clear glaze, but I just got the one you recommended. Hopefully it works wonders in my hair, just like in yours Thanks! xx

H Danne: I just watched one of your videos on how to get a lot of volume in your hair. At the end, you mentioned that once your hair has cooled off and is still looking good after 15 min or so then it will stay that way UNLESS you are in a lot of humidity. Well, I live in an extremely humid area, and as summer approaches I need some advice on products to use when it's humid. My good friend sells Monat which I see you did a video about. Do you know if they have anything like what I'm talking about? Any advice would be great! I did a blow out a few days ago, and as soon as I stepped outside it went nuts from the humidity. Thanks!

Luzmila Hernandez: Hi Sylvia. Your channel is so very helpful. Thank you. Can you do this treatment on wet hair? Freshly washed. ❤️

Star V: Yes ! I stumbled upon hair glaze by pure chance and it completely changed my hair game .

Jeannine Marie: I'm happy to see a glaze video. I get glazes in between highlight services to keep my color looking fresh. But I like being able to do them at home. Ps, I have a border collie mix as well and he sheds all year long. It's wonderful...not.

Suzan Heuninckx: Thank you for this amazing hairtip and not to forget all the others, just love you're channel. ❤ X

Hope: the number of videos I've watched you do about this company and I never realised they ship to the UK! Definitely going to give this a try!

Felicia Temple: I've always wanted someone to talk about hair glaze lol THANK YOU!

Aamanda271: Decided to purchase because it was so affordable, I have very dark hair, no dye, so anxious to see how it will look!

Emily Mayer: Is there a difference between a glaze and a gloss?

allgobbledygook: I'm avoiding silicones on my hair. Is there a glaze without dimethecone & other silicones? Or is that a key ingredient?

Terri Tells: I need some hair advice from people here. I roughly have a diamond shaped face, currently a brown-red haircolour. I've always liked to have my hairline to the side to have more hair on my right side. My hair is very thin, it does shine and it reaches to about my shoulderblades. It grows quickly but so do split ends just as quick. I am always struggling with getting it to sit well, this is partly because I know very little about styling with mouses sprays or blowdrying, I've avoided blowdrying for most of my life because hairdressers tell me that I should. Currently I don't know whether to keep the sideswept look and if so what should I do to style it properly, the sidehair never stays where it's supposed to be, it always ends up hanging down and forming square and how to make the other side not look too flat, OR if its time for a serious change and go for short bangs across my forehead. I have tried sideswept bangs but they weren't really what I wanted. I prefer my hair long and because it's so light it never really adds any weight to it. I've had layers in the length before and it just makes it look thinner. To summarize, long hair, thin (however very shiny!), grows very quickly, but it has little volume. Any tips and tricks on how to style the sideswept look better and anyone suggestions for what haircut I should have if not sideswept.

Lisa Marie: Thank you for the video doll! You may have already addressed this, but can I use a hair glaze on my clip-in, human hair extensions?

Richard Tate: Hi, I'm almost 50 and have about 30% white hair. Can you do a video on how to DIY white hair to stay longer? Most of the box colors don't take on my white hair for longer than 1-2 weeks. Shani :)

twominutetips: Thanks for this - your hair looks great. However, as natural gray can yellow easily, how does it affect the hair because we talk a lot about these things with my gray hair followers? Also does it affect the use of hot tools on grays too?

UnequivocallyMaya: Does this work on type 4 curly/ kinky textures? I’ve gotten a glosser before in the salon but, never at home.

Nancy E: Please be aware that the 50% off is only for the first bottle. I tried to order 2 bottles and was only given 50% off the first tube. Of course, I dumped the second bottle inasmuch as I have no idea if I will like it or not. AND there is a $6 S&H fee, so basically you save $4 . I ordered one tube regardless just in case it's the holy grail. Just a bit of FYI:)

Candace Fischer: Could you do a video on how you styled your hair after the glaze? That looks amazing!

Emma Louttit: Any other recommendations as I can’t find this product anywhere xx

wendy lopez: I hope this works on my brittle looking hair

Paul Parker: Will this make your hair get greasier at all? How long does the glaze last?

Ashly Gibbs: Do you have any other recommendations for a glaze, I don't see this one online any longer....

Danikah Smith: is there any specific glazes the salon offers that is better than another?? like a brand I mean.... this looks absolutely amazing!!

KatiesWonderland: Great informative video. Thanks. Love these.

loooo: will this have any visible affect on naturally curly hair?

Nazreen Mohammed: Can you do it on relaxed hair ❤️

Zal Sav: Does glazing damage the hair?

J Bird: Went on esalon.com and it’s impossible to find any glaze, let alone the clear hair glaze that you beautifully demonstrate in this video . Can you kindly sent a more specific link? I went through the entire list of products that they offer... thank you and I really appreciate you, your knowledge, advice and channel! Continued success!

Jane Doe: looks really good, so shiny

Janice Bumgardner: This was much needed! Thank you

Kianna Vaz: Hey Silvia! I was wondering if e salon have their products in Brasil! Or maybe some quality close brand for me to look for around here... I need this peoduct asap hahahahaha um beijão! Amo seus vídeos.

Kori Frederick: Is there an updated link for this product?

Joanne Cosmo: I love what it did to your hair ! Its more Gorgeous then it was before , i love the style on you ! You look like a famous actress you are so beautiful i love your very nice personality and your so helpful videos , you have sold me on this product thankyou so much for telling us!

Anabel Guillmot: Hi ! Is it working on brown hair ? Love your channel❤️

ANNIE MENDEZ HOME: I bleached and toned my hair a couple of days ago. Will be having an important event this weekend; will the glaze damaged my recently bleached hair?

G D: Is the product specific for blondes or is it clear so anyone with hair color can use it

Samantha Anderson: Are these safe to use on hair that has been dyed with henna?

Iris Kennedy: Does a hair glaze benefit non colored hair as well?

Little Firecracker: can you flat iron your hair after hair glaze?

CalBarrier, LLC: At what point in your routine do you use it?

21taffygirl: Does anyone know if glazes have silicones in them?

Iris Kennedy: Does a hair glaze benefit non colored hair as well?

Ms Forest: is the discount code only for people in us? when I sign in from Europe it disappears :(

carla edgar: With the glaze on... will I still be able to do my weekly masks or will it prevent the treatments from penetrating?

Bella Leopardo: Is Glass Act still available? I can't find it on the website?

hb: Good information, thank you. ❤❤❤

Greatest Ever: If hair glaze has chemicals in it will it do any damage to my bleached blonde hair? Does it damage hair at all in general?

Z H: How frequently do they restock this item. I want one so badly

T Young: I tried your provided link for the eSalon Hair Glaze 3 different times thinking I might have a browser malfunction and still could not find it. I looked over the whole site, I also inserted Hair Glaze into the "Search Box" NOTHING that said Hair Glaze came up. I even scanned the names of many products under hair enhancers and then read their descriptions, but still could not find anything that said Hair Glaze. Pretty good way to waste your time.... if that is what you're interested in.

Laura Flor: hi ! would a hair glaze work on hair extensions?!

Christina Harrison: Hi Silvia, I forgot to add how much I look forward to your videos :)

Anna Coronado: do you do this the next day after your touch up or highlighting. our same day?

Crystal Diaz: Can you glaze uncolored natural hair?

Coco Rollings: Hello Silvia, I know your an expert on hair~ but your skin and makeup is beautiful. Can you do a video on the natural makeup look you wear? The products that you use. I would love that. ;o)

GOD is my Rock JESUS IS MY SAVIOR: hey, elle. I would like to be a hair colorist. I am an industry shifter. Do you have lectures or a short course offered especially in our country, the Philippines?

laurie handler: Any other glaze would you recommend for blondes? I can’t find the one from the video?!?

Jessica Shanker: Hi great video. Does this product still exist. I would like to try it.

Melissa Callia: I wonder if the Ion clear works as a glaze?

Jessica S: Steps start at 4:31

Niki Nielsen: What system do you use in the MONAT line?

Christine Boyd: I assume you have your own salon...You need to develop your own hair care line. You are obviously talented, I appreciate all of your advice...You r knowledgeable!

Tatyana Pyar: Do you not color the hair in the back? I started doing that, but can really see the dark yours covers so well! Love the color!!

Jean L: What happen if the glaze get to the root part and scalp ?

superjules21: how long does it last?

alibinx19: Weird, there's no purchase button for the glaze on the site!

Andreea: Can you please do a video about the problem that makes my life so hard every day: I have really really thin hair and it ALWAYS tangles so bad! :( Sometimes its so bad I have to cut it. What can I do?

katie :-*: wait does this damage your hair though?

Dianne Eubanks: Elle can I use this on my hair if I just got blonde color and highlights?

Laura Kerns: This glaze is not currently in stock on eSalon. Any ideas when it will be back in stock? Thank you!

Clarissa Explains It All: Where did you get those candle holders in the back? Love them and need a couple more for my dining table.

Jess n T: I am obsessed with hair glaze it's the best

Pistachios and Popcorn: Ok you just said "It doesn't claim to make it lighter"..so my stylist was straight up lying to me! But yeah I can't believe I fell for the "You need glaze oh and I put more highlights in your hair too to make it whiter" etc etc instead of just doing what my new stylist did and putting purple shampoo in! Don't fall for the "you need more highlights to get the yellow out!" every time you go either!

Jessica Lahr: Would you recommend this for really thin hair? Also, how long does this last? I might have missed you saying that in the video

#DesignerPierre Petite Male Model: Your hair secret finally exposed...you only partially get your roots done just at the partline & let the rest of your roots grow out dark. I have done it once it is ingenious & deceitful & really good for the hair instead of frying it everywhere!

PJ Love: I feel like this will actually dry your hair out because the glaze will block any future moisture you put on it...

Ashley F: if my hair grows on top but breaks off at the ends, do you think this will help that??? i'm desperate.... my hair hasn't grown past my shoulders in about 6 years :(((((((

Summersky: The glaze is no longer available is there another glaze you can recommend?

Pistachios and Popcorn: I got scammed for a long time with this hair glaze stuff . I haven't watched the video yet so I'm not talking about the girl talking..nothing to do with her..she probably is honest here. But I was told "Your hair is too yellow ..we will put a glaze on". And it cost like 20 dollars. Now my new stylist tells me I didn't need that..and put some purple shampoo in my hair and didn't charge. So...don't fall into the "Your hair didn't turn out the right color" trap and get a glaze! But I'm sure the glaze does something..not saying it doesn't. Just saying..it probably doesn't do what some stylists are saying. And buy your own glaze and do it at home!

Dawn Mango: They dont sell this product anymore, anywhere?

Nur Khan: Hi, I just received a delivery  from eSalon.... Glass Act shine Glaze with the 50% off. Thanks for the advise. Love from the UK :) xx

Meera Jasmine: after the glazing can I iron my hair?

Laura Palmer: do you know if they ship worldwide :)

Lbelle Z: Hey lil lady!! What lipstick are you wearing?! I wish you would share your shade and outfit with every video!!! I just love your all around style!!! ❤❤ Great video, btw! I am definitely getting the glaze!!!!

Jasmine: I have light blonde hair and wanted to do a medium or dark blonde in the dphue gloss but I don’t want it to stain, do you know if it would?

Heather Vanderpool: I'm sorry to say this but I ordered the glaze and used it precisely as instructed and I feel like it did NOTHING for my hair. if anything, it feels more dry. so disappointed!!!

Ellie: You are amazingly beautiful and very feminine) I really enjoy watching your videos because it's like aesthetic buzz. I'm not a lesbian lol, just сonnoisseur of beauty in people.

Melissa Noble: how long does that last?

Sara Mohan: Can you recommend other glaze this one can't find on stock

Francesca Signorile: Does this product have formaldehyde in it?

Organicrime: I can't locate the glaze on the link website you provided in description box.
