How I Cut My Emo / Scene Bangs Hair | Alyinu

Hey guys, it's ally, so today i'm wearing my hair dyeing t-shirt. It'S uh an original design by your girl ally me. You know i designed this shirt uh for when i dye my hair, so you guys know that when i'm wearing this shirt means i'm doing something to my hair today i will not be dyeing my hair, but i will be cutting it because um, my bangs grew Out completely so today we're just gon na cut my hair and hopefully i'll look a little bit more emo, so i'm going to straighten my hair and then cut it um. Basically, my bangs have really gotten long they're like literally here - and it's like. I can't really do anything with them and also my hair is just being a real mess, so the hair drying t-shirt will be officially baptized uh. When i dye my hair, which is coming soon comment down below what hair color, i should go next, you guys have seen me dye my hair, a million different colors. So let me know what you guys think and what color i should go next. Currently, my hair is curly and pretty long. I do not want to change the length of my hair, but i do want to get some layers in here, because man we're looking flat, i'm sweating already, so i'm going to straighten my hair first, i put in some oils and protecting products because you got to Protect your hair when you're going to be damaging it with anything. So let me straighten my hair and let's get right into the cutting hmm all right. So i finally straightened my hair. I know it's not perfect everywhere um, but the reason why i straighten it is just so that when i cut my hair i'll see it at face value on what it looks like when it'll be straight. I want you guys to keep in mind that it took me years to get my hair long and bleached and in pretty decent condition. So um i'll, give you guys a couple tips. The key is really to just not do a lot to your hair. I only bleach my roots and i never re-bleach the ends of my hair um. If my funky hair color, whether down my hair, green or something i never ever ever bleach it off, i let it wash out um by itself. Also, i do not blow dry. My hair very often so i'll let my hair dry, naturally or, like maybe 90 of the time or 80 of the time, i'll, let it dry naturally or i'll just like quickly blow dry it, but like i'll put it in a bun also. This is the first time in a really long time that i've straightened my hair, so uh yeah straightening your hair as well. If you guys are straightening, your hair very often make sure to always use a heat protecting spray or something to protect your hair, because it will damage your hair over time. Also, it could break your hair as well. So that's my tips on how i managed to uh get long, bleached hair, so so yeah. Basically now we're going to cut my hair, it's not going to be a big giant, um difference in transformation. You guys are basically just gon na see me go from like a little bit more layers, just because i really do enjoy having long hair and if i do two short layers, i'm gon na look really choppy so we're just gon na trim it up and give Myself, better bangs and yeah. So let's do this! So if you guys are trying to cut your hair, like i do, uh you're going to need a fine-tooth comb and a good pair of scissors uh to get your hair. And if you want to keep your length, i would suggest never touching the bottom half of your head. So what i normally do is i'll section off the bottom of my head and i'll just tie it in a ponytail and then that way. I know that my length will never be touched because i am like hiding it away. So let's do that. This looks about right. Ah, there's hair in my eyes, i'm just gon na take another scrunchie and tie my hair back. So we're not going to touch the length and yeah there. It is it's not even in the back, but who cares? I'M not gon na do too much to it. So when we're going for the emo, look we're going for uh layers and we're going for um sort of like that edgy type of look. So let's do this a little bit more like that all right. So here is the front i can still get like my emo look, but it's not it's not as cool it's, not as cool cool. So basically, what i'm gon na do is i'm just gon na cut my bangs because they're too long uh here we go so when you're cutting your bangs make sure the side that you part, your hair is going to be where the shorter bang is. So it's going to go like from short to long when you're going for emo haircuts, you guys are just like ally, get on with it already days, always cut less and then, if you want to cut more, you can cut more after so just do it slowly And then cut shorter and shorter as you go, so i got like the length of my bang that i want, and now i'm just gon na blend it in with the rest of my hair so shorter to longer very slowly very slowly. Also, it feels kind of good to like cut off some of my dead ends. So that's always a good thing. So it's again the same concept shorter to longer and doing things very slowly. So when you're cutting layers in your hair, obviously the hairs on the top of your head are going to have to be shorter than the ones that are lower on your head. So i'm just going to try to integrate some layers from the top to the bottom. I hope i'm not gon na regret this honestly, oh my god, this is so short, oh well, it's actually not looking too bad honestly, but it's gon na look really weird with, like my super long hair. The hardest part is that, like the more layers i cut the thinner, my hair is gon na look, but i could waste my hair extensions, but i don't know that's a struggle. That is a real struggle. You know, honestly. I would like to have shorter layers, but because of the length of my hair, it would look really choppy and it wouldn't look good. So i'm sorry guys we're just gon na have to deal with it sally. I can't so remember that when you guys are cutting your hair in layers format, remember that you split your hair um vertically, because you're going to be heading downwards, so yeah, that's the t oops did i cut that too short? Oh! Well! Oh, my god is that, like a chunk on, oh, my god, i'm gon na cry, i'm so! Oh my god literally like this is this is thick long hair and i'm just like cutting it off like sad days, sad days, ally, work so hard to like grow. My hair out and i'm just cutting it all off. What is my life dear me? Don'T hate me after this video that my hair is so short. Not bad, doesn't look too bad like split in the middle, but that's not the look. We'Re going for cue, the james bond music. This is so short. I don't even see my hair on the floor. Guys like it's invisible. How can i know where it is? That'S the only thing about having like hair that doesn't want to stop curling. It'S like. I just straightened this like a second ago: oh actually not looking too bad. Now i see that it's straight. I see a little bit better. I told you guys it wouldn't look that different and it really doesn't, but at least we're getting somewhere right. Okay, so i think it's am i done. Is it over? Is this? It is this the final. This is the final look. Let'S take all my hair down. Let'S take the little ponytail out all right, fabuloso, let's see what it looks like wow. I look the same. Just kidding hold on, let me just place it okay, so this is the final um decision. I don't think i'm going to cut any more of the hair and the bangs um. I did layer it a little bit more um up on the top, which is pretty cool um. I'M not too upset about it so again, guys when you're cutting your hair, make sure you do it slowly and you do a little bit at a time. I did a little bit on the back, but not as much so. You guys obviously cannot see a big difference on the bottom, but it's just slight layers like they're, really really long so yeah, maybe one day i'll like go full commitment and like cut like my hair super super short on the top and then have like a mullet. Look which is kind of like more of like an emo look with really longer hair, but because i don't want my layers to be very noticeable um and i can still comb my hair in the middle and make it look like no bangs. I don't know like. I could still sort of wear it like this without having too many bits sticking out um, even though it will like its short hair now, like i have short bangs now, but it's okay like that's the look i'm going for. I am going for like that. Um shaggy look the shaggy bangs emo haircut, so yeah, if you guys have any questions, comment them down below. So i basically cut this much of my hair off.
