How To Fake Bangs / Fringe For One Day Hair Tutorial For Medium Or Long Hair

You've probably read the description of this video and you already know that I didn't really cut my bangs. ( buzzer ringing. ), I think that having a hairstyle up your sleeve, where you can actually fake bangs for an entire day, is a good way to test. If you actually want to make the commitment or not. ( blows, hair ), I can already tell you, after a couple of minutes of wearing this hairstyle, that personally for me in humid, hot Barcelona. Cutting my bangs in real life would be a terrible idea right now., But I do like the total transformation this gives me. And well. I don't know. If you like this video, please give it a thumbs, up. [ Voiceover ], So I'm going to start by parting off a U-shape section on the top of my head. And smoothing it out with a brush.. Please don't mind my hair. Looking like a complete mess., It was just super hot and humid, and I've already worn several hairstyles and taken pictures. And then I'll start to create a ponytail, but then I'll make a little loop from the hair. So it creates a little bun.. Then I'll flip the hair from the back - and this is the part - that's going to create the fake fringe.. If your hair is longer, you might have to wrap it around. The loop first. I'll also pick up some hair from the sides so that I have something to wrap around the base of that bun and hide the elastic.. Your hair is longer, and you already wrapped that fake bang around you can skip that. Step.! Don'T worry if you're looking kind of horrible like me at this point., This is not the end result yet., I'm bringing my flat iron over the fake bangs, so that I have a better view of how it's gon na look. And then I'm pinning it to the Top of my head with bobby pins so that it doesn't move so much.. The heat and humidity made my hair extremely frizzy. So I'm using my flat iron to give my hair a very loose wave. And just control the frizz in some places. And then you're going to need a headband of your choice to cover the bobby pins and to make sure that the bang stays in place. All day., It was a fun look to try, but I personally wouldn't take the plunge.. I think this is a very cute and laid back look. And it looks good from all angles. [ Voiceover ].
