How to create the iconic look of Bettie Page - no hair skill required! Just try it and see how easy this is. Great if you don't want to cut a fringe but want the look of one now and again. With just a little bit of adjustment you can get a really authentic look .

Ah, thanks for coming to watch my tutorial, showing you how to create fuss free faux Betty Page bangs, yes, I can read that title and it's so little. You shape short bangs, worn by iconic, Bettie Page and copied forever more by millions and pinup people. If you like, peanut hairstyles, then you can click here to go to a place or more or you could make my absolute day and subscribe to my channel. Also, if you like this video, then do us a favor and click on the like button. It makes me smile thanks very much, I'm like the most inconsistent person with bangs or fringe growing them out and cutting them in and growing them out and cutting in, and now I really like my hairstyle at the moment. I want to keep my long hair style. Don'T want bangs, but I want the look of them so sometimes I'm gon na do this style. It'S great but inconsistent girls like me, and it requires little to no skill, which is also good if you're in a rush section off a nice mm, v-shaped parting in your hair at the front, if you've got shorter bangs already, you need to take a little bit Behind those so start from the top of your head right in the very top and the nice v-shaped down to your either side of your forehead, put the rest of your hair away. So it doesn't get in the way and then you're going to get a little tease to this hair so section by section, maybe an inch section at a time just they're, just a tiny we've teased just to give it a little bit of volume. So you've got something to work with just work through section by section, just teasing the roots just to give it a little bit of them. You can use hairspray. If you want, I'm I'm not going to. I don't need to you, don't need that much. It just helps you work with your hair. It'S a bit more and there's no complicated rolling in this style. You are going to be able to do this. I promise it's easy. Okay, so you've backcomb through that hair, it's just a bit more poufy than it was before now you're, going to take Tichy, weave, hair band tiny little elastic, not a normal hair elastic there to both, you need a small little tiny plastic one. I'Ve got 500 from ebay, I think from for, like 99 pence or something super ridiculous. So if you can't find one in Sally's or boots or your local drugstore, then and get them on ebay, they're cool, they come in all different, colors, all clear and just near the bottom of your hair. I'M going to tie it and make sure on the last round. You do not pull it all the way through so you're going to create a loop. They easy. I take a bobby, pin and thread the bobby pin through the loop. This is the most pop pop style and this is not complicated. So don't let me scare you off, but the Bobby sitting through the loop like that home to bobby, pin and roll it towards your head. You hold the bobby pin and then, when you get to your hairline, push the bobby pin into your hairline into your hair, and this will secure your fringe. Now, it's not gon na look fantastic at the moment. So don't be scared. Look I'll, show you. It looks rubbish, that's the rubbish! You need that you shape so because you've back combed your hair and it's quite pliable and easy to work with you can create a new shape by sticking your finger in the tube that you've made and pulling it up at the sides and then vertically inserting hair Grips bobby pins up into your hair to create this new kind of new shaped bang, brilliant style. Just like that and you'll get you take, I kind of need to work on my new look a little bit more, but for the sake of this video, I'm not going to what I love and to really set the look off is to tie a bandana around My hair and it kind of covers up any little mistakes or curl tears or anything like that. It just draws the attention away from the faux fringe, so people don't realize nor no one, you just type above there like that and then let the rest of your hair down. I have Tong my hair before this and that's it super quick, instant pinup knows this is required.

Carolin Cäcilia: Miss. You, without a doubt, saved my LIFE. I always tried that with rolling the hair up, using different techniques and means, but this one is the first that actually worked. Ms Lemon: I tried your victory roll tutorial with great success, but this was harder to nail. My hair is curly (3B/C), thick, and chest-length so rolling it just ended up a floofy mess that the bobby pin could not hold. What I had to do was split the hair into two sections (left and right), then roll each section as you showed. Then, adjust the hair as you showed, and pin the two sections together with a bobby pin. This held very well and resulted in an even-looking style. Thanks again for your tutorials!!

Zsasu: Thank you so much! Your way is so easy! :)))

My hair grows sooper slowly tho so gives me the best of both but I'm also dead fickle with my hair and want it long but short at the same time and have fringe in..... fringe out! helps that Im not scared of playing with my hair with colours or cuts either. What's the worst that could happen! (it falls out btw... that wasn't great ) P.s. if I'm not mistaken there sounded like a liddle baby approving in the background Great vids x
