Hi, I'm Linda Mendoza from fantasies, hair salon and today I'm going to share with you some tips and techniques on how to cut bangs with curly hair. So before you actually do any cutting. When you have curly hair, you want to assure yourself that you stretch out the hair and it's hair strands completely, so you can assure yourself of how long your actual hair is without the curl. So what I'm going to do with my client is I'm going to kind of see her curl now and she has a light curl and I'm going to actually blow-dry it to see her actual curl when it's dry when the comb it and I have already divided Her bang section that she wants to get cut and now we're going to flat iron this section and I'm going to clip back the top section and divide it into two or three sections. So I can get a nice straight bang area. Now you want to flat iron towards the direction that you want, your hair to land in once it's cut, you want to lightly apply some products in the hair and smooth it out with your comb and now you're able to see what direction do you want? Your bangs to go you're also able to see your full hair length when it's actually released and the curl is not there, and you have to remember that once the hair goes back into curly, it will shrink probably about an inch.
