*Finally* Fixing My Split Dye Hair | Bleaching, Cutting Bangs & Dying My Hair Magenta Ft. Uberliss

Welcome back, if you can see my hair is both yellow and overgrown, and my roots are disgusting and i just need to fix this also. I am quite excited because i'm trying a bond sustainer for the first time, which i'll talk about a little bit later. But for the time being, let me just tell you guys my vision that i have so i've actually intentionally been growing out my roots, because i want to kind of do like a balayage or even like a melt. So what i'm going to be doing is bleaching. The other side of my hair and probably leaving like a two inch or like one inch gap here, so it mimics this other side. I'M really scared. I don't know if i'm gon na be able to match this color exactly this side is patchy. You can tell because there's like still a little bit of pink here, i think that is pretty much it. So let us start bleaching the side of my hair, i've already pre-split my hair, so i'm just going to put this side into a bun. This should be easy because i have less hair on the side of my head according to a hairdresser that once cut my hair, so hopefully it doesn't take as long as it usually does on this side. So yes, i just realized. I don't know where my clips are, so i'm gon na tie my hair up and slowly part it as i go, and i can already tell that things are going downhill really quickly. Just going in with my favorite fancy hair bleach schwartz cough last time. I used this like my hair was completely fine, so hopefully the same happens this time and then i also have my 30s volume developer. Why is this so hot in this bathroom? I almost forgot. You switch out my glasses. This is the worst possible way of parting. My hair, it's kind of too late now, if you have split hair and you want to get rid of it, do not do this like half root thing that i'm doing, because it just makes it so hard to get it like even on both sides, but i'm Just doing this because i don't want to like damage my roots anymore, so yeah. This is how the back looks and it's not that bad, hopefully, but i'm gon na. Let this sit and marinate and we're just gon na wash it out, and then i will be back probably we'll need a part two for the bleaching, but it's been pretty light. So, yes, we'll be back! We are back in semi, familiar territory if you watch any of my previous videos, i'm actually back at home this weekend, which is why we have a different bathroom and, quite frankly, i kind of like this bathroom a little bit more but anyways. This is how my hair looks, and this is the back. I think we did an okay job - it's not perfect, but i think it's bearable in terms of getting the right distance from my scalp. I think i got like a decent distance. It'S like equal ish, but you can tell the color is not the same, so we're gon na bleach. The gun today also brad mondo, reacted to my video and he reacted to the worst one that the end result of that one was terrible, so many people were messaging me like you're in brad, monroe's, video and i'm like. Oh, i know that's so exciting yeah. I was very excited anyways, i'm gon na get a plastic bag to cover this side because, as you can tell it's like lighter down at the bottom, because i started at the bottom last time - i'm gon na start from the top this time and then kind of Hope that it reverses and yeah so i need something to cover this. While i move my hair back secured i'm putting this on now. Maybe this is not a good idea. I kind of want to add, like a money piece, the money piece i don't know so. Actually i want to bleach like the very front of this part. Oh, i should plan this earlier. All right. I look crazy, but i'm done with my hair, so i'm just gon na let it marinate and then we'll be back for the next session hello. This is the third and hopefully last bleaching round. I am going to show you guys my hair, but do not scream hear me out. I know it looks bad and i honestly probably shouldn't have done like the money piece, but we're just gon na go with it and hope that it turns out. Well, i'm a big proponent of trust, the process, and in this case we are trusting the process a little bit too much. This is the back and i think i did a pretty good job of just staying within the lines for the hair dye. It is still slightly more yellow on this side and darker, so i'm going to be doing this side today now chitchat. You guys know the drill, we're just gon na part, my hair and then start bleaching again. This would work if i had lighter hair up here. Okay, we are finished again and we're gon na wait and then shower and then i'll be back and then finally, we can color the hair. That'S like what i'm most excited about. So, yes, i have a lot of bleach everywhere, hello, i'm going to show you guys what my hair looks like right now. So this is my hair now and it's uh pretty light. I can tell that set is slightly darker than this side, at least like in some spots. But to me it looks like even enough. That'S the back if anyone's interested, i'm excited because we're gon na be doing the color now, but i am particularly excited about dyeing my hair today because i'm trying a bond sustainer for the first time, so i picked these up from sally beauty. So these are the bonsai stainer colors by uberless, i'm pretty sure. Each of these is like around 15 at sally. If you guys don't know what bond sustainers are they're, essentially like deep conditioning treatments that are supposed to reinforce and strengthen the bonds in your hair. So i really need this because i've been bleaching and dyeing my hair for like the last half year to a year and my hair is quite damaged. I did pick up green and purple at the store, but i'm kind of worried that my hair is too patchy for green or, like neon green. So i went back and switched it to this color called purple iris. There are four of those and also nebula blue in case the purple is red tinted, because i did see in reviews that this is more magenta and like reddish. So enough, chit chat, let us start coloring, my hair and i'm scared. So i'm popping this open and there's my mirror setup. So my strand test is telling me that it's going to turn into this looks like we're going for a dark magenta today, i've mixed some purple with some blue. So that's the nebula blue with the purple iris. It'S definitely more grainy than i thought it would be, but hopefully the color applies evenly and yes, i should probably park my hair. I have my mixture, it's a very dark purple right now, so i don't know what it's going to turn out like, but let's go in and start coloring our hair. Oh god i forgot to put on a glove. This is my battle mark battle scarf um. So this is definitely more chunky than i thought it would be, but the color is very vibrant, so i'm hoping it looks nice against, like the black roots. I'Ve been trying to rub it in because every single time i like use the brush. It just tarnishes my floor. Thankfully i've lined the floor with a newspaper so that, if anything falls it just falls on. The newspaper me all right, so my hair is lathered in purple and i'm gon na. Let this sit. I think the instructions say for like half an hour, but i'm gon na let it sit for an hour just to let my hair take in the color, the blonde stainer. It looks very promising, so i'm kind of excited to see the color that it turns out to be like also. I look like i am bruised everywhere, but it is just hair dye. I'M scared, i didn't apply it too evenly, so i'm worried it's gon na be patchy, but hopefully it isn't. And yes, i will check back in once. Everything is completed. Okay, hear me out, so this is definitely not the color. I thought it would turn out as but i kind of love it. It'S extremely dark purple, but i'm kind of excited to see what it fades out as and also i've just not seen myself with darkish hair for the longest amount of time. So i'm like getting used to this, i was originally gon na take a black color and do like a color melt. But honestly, since this purple is dark enough, it seems like i can just leave it, how it is, as you can see, it's not the most. Even dye job because i had like various colors in my hair prior to this, but it looks like it looks not bad and yeah, so i will say my hair is in so much better condition than it was last night after i bleached it. So i think the bond sustainer actually worked like it looks. It looks pretty smooth right, like it wasn't this nice and soft yesterday, so i'm hoping this actually lasts a couple of washes or more than a couple of washes because usually my hair starts fading in like four or five washes um, but i have very high hopes For this also, i'm trying out some different hairstyles with this hair. This is the first hairstyle i kind of like it. I think i make it look weird, like my face, makes it look weird. This is cute, but this is definitely different and i kind of love it. Sometimes. I forget how big my forehead is, but i think this hairstyle is okay. I did not do this very well, but that's another hairstyle. Oh, i need to like redo this. I see you okay, okay, all right, i won't bombard you guys with like me doing a ton of things to my hair i'll, probably do a separate video on that. If people care to watch that okay, you know what i kind of want bangs or like faint bangs. So that's what we're gon na do. I was back and forth deciding whether or not to do this, but i guess we're gon na do it. I just want very, very subtle, bangs, so i'm not going to do too much. Okay, just an inch and a half okay, wait! Wait! It is a little bit too sparse, but i don't want to get like full bangs, again, they're, just a hassle to grow out plus it's the summer time. So i don't want like hair sticking to my head. Okay, wait! Wait! I forgot to uh that what is that i totally forgot what this is called: that's hot! Oh, it's kind of short. Now i swear i am coming down with something, but also knock on wood. Okay, we're back taking out the things. Okay! Now we're finally done - and i think i've exhausted all my physical and mental energy on this, so this is the final product, the same hairstyle as earlier, but just with bangs. Well, maybe i like it without bangs, oh god, i also kind of like it like side parted. Maybe we'll just keep it like this for now yeah. So i think this is the look for today and i this was such a long process.
