Everyone welcome back to my channel. My name is nicole Johnson, and this is my beauty channel, where I share all of my beauty tips with you. Hence my new faux bangs. So if you haven't hit that subscribe, button hit it now and join in on the conversation and, ladies, let's get this bang Beauty started seriously. Ladies, how cute is this: I mean granted you're, not gon na have a home run every time you put these faux bangs in, and I'm gon na show you what I'm wearing that this is the Christie Brinkley the natural fringe. They have all different types of hair. Colors, so maybe if you don't have gray hair, you can do this with a different color blonde brunette. Maybe you have black hair, I think they're really fun. I did a video where I did a French look. I was using Too Faced and I wanted to be like st. Tropez and I put them in at a ponytail. It was when I had all black hair, except for my gray stripe, and they were just so much fun, it's so different and they're so non-committal. So I'm going to show you they don't look. I mean you've got to have realistic expectations. Okay, so listen! I think that they look. I think they look pretty pretty good for what they are. I mean listen, gray, hair. You cannot. You only can even die extensions gray and get the right color. Okay. So I really like these. I think they really work for my hair. This is how I do it just take a comb. Sorry, I'm having a little this. I love this top, but it's wanting not to stay on. I should have probably had up. Well, that's probably what it is um. What I do is to make it simple and easy. I just kind of part it in the middle because it has the fringe. Okay, so I just do a little. I just nicely comb, my I call him Frederic. I name all everything in my wit. That'S weird right! Okay, this has three comb, so it has a comb here, one here and one here, they're little Clips, so you basically dig it into your hair and then you snap it shut okay. So I like to just kind of push it back a little bit because I'm gon na have this fringe here now it's never always perfect. Sometimes I have to do it like three or four times, okay, but what I do is I just want these banks not to be too short when I'm gon na clip it in and not too long, and I liked it so I dig it into my hair Right and I try to make it when I do these clips as flat as possible, so I dig in you know: look let's take this down a little bit because that's not gon na be cute. It'S too puffy. Okay, see, I got a see yeah. My hair is just nice and unruly, maybe your hair, it's a little bit more your hair, it's a little bit more cooperating, so just kind of make sure I get it in there. Sometimes it cooperate. Sometimes it doesn't takes a little bit more hey, listen! You got ta just keep trying right, it's not as hard as the magnetic lashes all right. So this is what's important. You want to integrate the faux bangs with your own hair, like you saw before now. Sometimes maybe I didn't put it back far enough. Maybe I didn't you know, make it long enough with my bangs, maybe it's too puffy you're gon na figure out what works for you? Okay, this isn't like you know one step in you're done kind of thing: you're working with synthetic hair; it's not real hair. So I just like to try to make it look like it's my own hair. It'S incorporated, I think, honestly, for gray, hair and the fact that I have two or three colors in my hair. I have black in the back. I have silver and I have white. So this is actually a pretty good. This is a pretty good faux. Bang, that's great! I mean honestly. I can't find I haven't found another one that actually looks as good with the color. So you're going to just have to you know, play around with this front part incorporate it. You know I haven't really sprayed it with hairspray, so I really don't want to. Like add more product to this, these bangs and stuff, but what's going on here, okay, so you just want to work with it: hey, listen! I wanted you to see something that you could buy and do that's fun and different, and maybe it makes you feel a little bit. You know I don't know makes you feel like a little rebellious by just putting on some so bangs beat somebody else. Listen. I think it's fine until my next video see you later

Roberta Silsbury: Those bangs are great looking on you!! Really a nice change around your face! I am 73, fast tracked my gray a year ago and also have been sporting these bangs!! What a great match for gray hair! Thank you so much for always talking about the positive attitude about women as we go into different phases of our lives!!

Julie A.: They look cute! When I'm done with my transition, I'll definitely look into it!

Pat Noe: This is great to be able to change up your look! I’m growing my hair out to grey & need something fun. Thanks Nikol!

Ki Ki: If you could replicate your hair into a wig, I'd buy it in an instant!‍♀️

MySharon: I think this is cute and fun, thanks for sharing these ideas. Would be cute with a bandana/headband too put over the area where you snapped it in

MissTickle East: Love it....it’s sassy. I have one but haven’t tried it yet. I might get my hairdresser to cut it to suit me. Thanks Nikol x

Katie Goes Platinum: I remember when you posted photos with these - they are so lovely! Might have to get a pair for myself :-)

Sheri N: Thanks for the video. Because of my hairline I like to wear bangs. However, because of the natural wave of my hair they are very difficult to get them to behave the way I'd like. I was thinking of trying faux bangs. Next I'd love to see some with more variegated grey options the way some grey hair can be. BTW, I'm 3 months into going natural. Thank you for being one of many support system on my journey!!!

Denise Gustafson: Oh! I need one! I am forever wanting bangs, cut them then am sorry in a day! This way I could do bangs when the urge hits me and not cut! Thanks for the idea! :)

Luz Figueroa: I love it and u look absolutely beautiful with or without the fringe.

Terry: Super cute!!! I remember those from high school (70's!) Great idea!

Carmen A. G.: You look beautiful with bangs

lisar915 R: I live your dress. That color blue looks amazing on you.

Europa 17: They're amazing, give you a fun new look.

Julie Bryant: It looks good on you and if you only want to have bangs some if the time, it would be great. I feel like I have a big forehead so I keep my hair cut with bangs all the time.

jilAngel Tuyl: You look a perky delight, in bangs. Did you try white ones? They are all going to look gorgeous on you!

L McCauley: You look like you could be Sela Ward's daughter, I was watching an old lifetime movie with her in it last night. lol. She is one of the most beautiful women in the world IMO. Gorgeous. :)

Jackie o sullivan: I have to be honest. It really looks false. It's a bit like when you know a man is wearing a toupe. You look absolutely fabulous without it Nikol.

wendy davis: These are not in stock anymore can you give a new link? Can't find salt and pepper clip in bangs anywhere.

lety reyna: Thanks for vid pretty lady

authentica63: You are fab without!

Susan Carlton: You could always take the bangs to a hairdresser and have it shaped to your face. It’s like tailoring but instead of clothes your face and hair!

Angie: I'm sorry but didn't like this on you... you've got very defined brows so the addition of the fringe just looked way too heavy ....I prefer the original Nikol ........just my opinion though ! Love Angie from UK x

qaxin: something about her vibes makes me really comfortable idk what it is tho

L McCauley: Bangs look good.

grace fugate: Thx :)

Burger Mister: I have those wear them all the time. I have a high forehead

ballerman22345: Something about those bangs just don't look natural. I've seen other brands that are a little more realistic.

Elaine Armenta: You are better without the bangs. Your hair is very thick at the hairline so it was just to much on you.

Marla Robinson: very cute on you

Phil: Sorry but I agree with 'angie curran' comment.... Definitely no to the bangs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amy Slingsby: I am told I name everything too.

slinkyboo: Hair2wear The Christie Brinkley Collection light grey has sold out :(

Rose S: I think it looks great - one of the best ways to make gray hair less aging. I hate to say this because I know this is not what most women going gray want to hear, but I am yet to see one woman going gray who did not automatically look significantly older this way. That includes the gorgeous ones like Nikol. A few like her, with perfectly beautiful and young face, may look cooler, more sophisticated, more chic - but just as young as before? No. As for younger ? There's not a single mature woman on Earth who looks younger with gray/white vs. some kind of color. In my experience, gray sucks the sex appeal out of a woman - instantaneously. I've been struggling with this because in my mid 40s I can no longer pull off a full head of charcoal black hair, my natural color. Neither can I do the 50 shades of brown/blonde that come from going lighter with dimension - due to clash with my skin tone (browns of any kind make me look severely green and sallow). I tried going gray with some lowlights and after a few inches of growth I caved in. Flyaways everywhere, I felt dusted with snow...chilling, 100% unappealing effect. Pure grandma. At this point I'm out of options. Thinking to try chunky, high contrast lowlights of different colors (very dark brown and light brown) straight on my grays to blend them. Seeing this video made me think that perhaps bangs would help...but again, must be gorgeous for bangs to work well at this age. Conclusion? I just want my youth back. :)))
