I Got A Wolf Cut (Long Shag) And Regret It / Straightening My Hair Live

Oh everyone um. I just woke up a little bit ago and I'm just gon na style. My hair live so I'm gon na straighten it or curl it. I haven't decided, but I'm using heat tools, I'm not styling. It naturally might wait for people to get on. Can I like, am I still alive? Oh did I mess it up? Oh no, I think I'm still alive. Okay. I was gon na try and post about it on Instagram, but I guess I should have done that already. That'S! Okay! All right! I hate that you can see my bleached ends, I'm slowly working my way to chopping those off. This is the this I'm so good at YouTube. Wow! Okay, I don't have any Styler in my hair. I have a little bit of leave-in conditioner that I slept with. In my hair slept with and my hair is, I say that sometimes I forget how to speak, coherent sentences. All right, I don't feel like this - is gon na. Take super long, because my hair is like a lot thinner now. Oh my gosh. I hope someone gets on what the heck I just posted a new video though so maybe that was kind of stupid timing on my part. I knew that going into it though, but what's done is done. You know all right, so I am gon na save this live. So even though no one's on right now, I'm still gon na talk. So I can explain to you guys what's going on so I got a haircut. I got a long shag and you know I'm just not sure if I regret that decision or not, because I literally just figured out how to style my hair and get like a ton of um, curl enhancement and definition, tighter curls and even pattern. All the way up to my root hello, my first viewer um anyways. I literally just figured out how to style my hair, and now I got the long Shad cut again, so I have bangs now um you're gon na see it once I like get further into styling my hair, but I feel, like I kind of regret getting this Haircut, I can't decide I've been having a really hard time, styling it. So that's why I'm trying to straighten it right now I got this cut like I don't even know, oh pretty recently, but I've only styled it a handful of times and if you follow me on Instagram, I posted a picture where it looked really cute. It'S actually Trudy um. I posted a picture where it looked really good, but that day I literally didn't style. My hair at all like that had no product in it. Um I'd slept with it wet out balls, that's hot um, but then it was like a little frizzy. So I just kind of went in with my straightener and like smoothed down some of the ends and stuff, but I hadn't actually really like sat down and styled it. So the one time my new haircut looked good, I literally like barely, did anything to it so, and I can't really recreate that, like a few days after that, I tried to do the same thing and I slept on it wet with no product in it and It looked like crap, so I don't really know it's always hard when you get a new haircut to figure out like how to style your hair, and it's just like, I said it's kind of annoying, because I just figured out a really good routine, where my hair Looked so good and I kind of feel like I'm starting from scratch, but I don't know we're gon na try heat styling it today and maybe I'll get it to look good but like when I so foreign. With my new like wash day routine, I will diffuse my hair because it gives me um like a lot tighter of a curl, but I feel like I can't do that now, because the tighter My Curls look, the stupider my straight bangs. Look because my bangs don't have a lot of a girl, I mean they have a little girl like this is the natural chaos that they are, but they're too short to wear them with the natural wave like they just end up like two inches above my eyebrow. So I feel, like I kind of have to straighten them out a little bit for them to look normal, but then it looks stupid if my um texture is really curly. So I'm having a dilemma, I'm having to like style, my hair with it more stretched out. So that my bangs blend into it better - and I just don't love that like okay, so here's the other thing I didn't really consider. I went into this haircut wanting to replicate my cut the first time I got the long shag and what I didn't consider was that I had a lot of bleach damage. So last time I had this cut and so that naturally elongated My Curls and stretched them out and that's not the case now like y'all, can see the bleach damage. This is all the bleach damage I have left on my hair. So all this is really healthy. Hair that curls up really well and it's a much tighter curl, and so it's not looking the same as the last time. I got this haircut, which is such a bummer. I went to two stylists to get a cut, so I actually went to one and she didn't really do what I wanted um. Maybe I can make a video on that, but I'm not really sure, but I basically went in with all my pictures. I showed her what I wanted. What I didn't want - and she was kind of making me nervous because she did the cut and it didn't have enough layers like I could tell the layers were way too long. It did not look like a long shaggy cut at all, like she literally. I think my longest layer was like down to here like that is not a Shaggy haircut and I kept asking her. I was like no, I think some of the layers need to be shorter. I guess I'm just telling the story now um, but I told her. I thought they should be shorter and she was like. I don't know like you, you don't want it to look like a mullet and I'm worried it's going to look like that. If we take them any shorter and since she was nervous, I was nervous to push it, and so I was like okay, maybe you're right like let's not do it so, but then I got home and I styled it a couple times and I was like no. This is literally not even a long shag like it's just layers with bangs, so I had someone else fix it and now it's a long Shad, but now I kind of regret. It really know. I mean I needed a haircut regardless because I'm trying to get these um bleached ends off, like I think at my next haircut in like four months, I can definitely get the rest of this off, but I don't know I'm wondering if the bangs were a mistake. Like they're definitely fun, but if they look like crap today after a heat style, it like. I honestly, don't know what to do. I'M trying to straighten it, but I have a feeling, I'm probably gon na, go back in and curl it afterwards, unless Rosie wakes up from her nap so have y'all seen my new video talking about the curly hair community. Seen um it's basically about India, Batson's recent video and um Bianca Renee's recent video, so they're both talking about just like the changes in the curly hair community and do y'all feel like it's changing hello. Here my hair has like little waves in it and I just don't think I want to get it perfectly smooth. I guess I was just watching that seems like lots of curly hair people are posting less. I did see both of their videos yeah so from Maine, hello, oh gosh, I'm getting a lot of comments! Um watching this for while recovering from surgery. Oh my gosh. What kind of surgery did you have or is that, like TMI um? To be honest, I've never paid much attention to what the trend was hi from Australia? Oh that was directly in my face. I'Ve never even really followed the curly girl method because it was it honestly felt like too much work like I tried to follow it at the beginning and bought a bunch of products, but I didn't really. I don't think I noticed a difference with my hair. I don't know that was so long ago. I barely even remember to be honest, but yeah like India, has kind of changed her Niche on YouTube, a little bit she's kind of like not really focusing on hair videos anymore, but those are still the videos that get the most views on her Channel. So, let's break, how do I get it back? Oh my gosh. Oh there it is oh geez, that's crazy! Um. India'S title is definitely really clickbaity, though she said like goodbye, curly, hair community or something like that and, like obviously, everyone probably thought she was like leaving her curly hair videos. Behind her, I mean that's what my thought was and that wasn't the case at all. She said nothing about that um and she just posted like a drugstore wash day routine. So, like I said, I think she knows that those videos do the best for her or her like little girl talk series. It'S weird, though, like Penny Tovar, she doesn't make curly hair videos really anymore um. I don't know I loved pennies videos, but it's also strange because I feel like curly hair got really popular, especially on Tick. Tock and reels, like those videos, are like blowing up on Tick Tock natural hair routines. So it's kind of strange, like maybe they're, just not that big on YouTube anymore. I honestly don't know. I do think it's hard because, like natural hair doesn't really apply to everyone like, for example, if I was a makeup Channel, most people could still watch my channel unless they had like a totally different skin tone than I did than like a lot of the products. Probably just wouldn't apply to them, but curly hair is so specific, like if you don't have my same texture and everything then you're probably not going to watch my videos. So, even though I definitely watch um routines of girls that have like Type 4 hair because I think it's so fascinating, I love learning about other types of hair. Actually, it's got a gray hair get out of here. Do you guys pluck your gray hairs? I definitely do they say that makes like two more grow back, but I don't believe it I don't know. Maybe we'll find out. No, never you don't pluck your grays. I rip every single one of them out. Oh wait is that one I got so many more grays. I called them my um. I got so many more grays after having Rosie, which makes sense, because this has been the most stressful time in my life, but I just rip them right out of my Noggin um. I have been wanting to incorporate other types of videos on my channel, like I just recorded a vlog, so Vlogs don't do great on my channel, but I'm still gon na post it and we'll just see what happens. Oh my gosh, I will say my hair feels so soft and healthy after that haircut. So look at these short layers. I have really short layers now, which is awesome. That'S what I wanted, but I'm just struggling to make it look good. I'M feeling like I'm feeling like straight, is gon na be good like this feels nice. Oh time will tell you know, did I spray this side better shape than sorry did y'all watch the Victoria's Secret documentary. I kind of want to watch it, but I'm also scared. I don't want it to be like, like super heavy like. I cannot handle that kind of stuff right now and I saw some trailer that connected them to what was that guy's name that was like um like trafficking all the young girls. Don'T remember, but that's gon na be really sad, oh my gosh, but that song um. I don't know the name of it that I think her name is Jax wrote about Victoria's Secret. That has been stuck in my head since I heard it such a fun song. I really hope this looks good. It all looks great until I get to the bangs. These bangs have been driving me bonkers. Brian doesn't like try to call me he's at an estate sale right now. I stayed home because Rosie's napping and I didn't want to like wake her up just to drag her out to an estate, sale and also these days still looked. Pretty boring like it looks like it's mainly stuff that he'll be interested in like tools for his workshop and stuff, but I'm only really interested in furniture and all the furniture was ugly, so normally when I style my hair. Naturally, I literally style it like this. This is all I do. I run my hands through my bangs and then that pretty much does the trick. Sometimes, if I straighten them, it makes it look worse, but I have so many cowlicks that it's just such a pickle. I did not put heat protectant in my bangs. Oh wait, that's kind of cute! I like this, like messy kind of swooped look, and this is the other thing, with bangs you're constantly pulling in other pieces that don't belong so normally um. I just get tired of pulling them back out and I'll just cut them see. I have a cowlick on both sides. I really should have brought my scissors, so I could just chop all these pieces off like look at these, so annoying guys. Uh was it a mistake to cut my hair? Is that a gray? Oh, it's gone, wait! Nope! I see it. Is that great? Oh, my gosh, that's Gray, we're pulling it yep. That was great. Look. You can see it get out of here. Oh, that looks nice. That was accidental all right. Okay, this isn't so bad. I think I think straight is the way to go which fricked me, because I have a wavy hair Channel. Oh Rosalinda has awoken from her slumber. Sometimes I'll leave her in there to like chill in her crib for a few minutes if she stops crying because she'll do tummy time for a little bit. But let's see if she stops, if she keeps crying I'll go get her. So, on the one hand, I finally found a way to style it, or I actually like it with this haircut. I really like tucking it by my ears to make it look. This is literally what I was talking about in the video I just posted about the curly hair community, like it's such a struggle, because I love heat styling, my hair, but my channel is not about straight hair and once I straighten it like I'm not going to Put heat damage on it for one day, so so I'll leave it straight for, like I don't know like four or five days as long as I can go honestly before it gets greasy, and so that whole time I can't film any content. This this at least made me not regret the haircut as much in general, because I found a way I can style it. I kind of want to put like some loose like waves in it, maybe but okay, my hair, never looks good straight when I have like all the length and the bulk like it just does not get super straight. It just has like little crinkles in it and um with this cut with all these layers and oh my gosh, they thinned it out a lot like you guys. This is all of my hair. I have it all pulled forward. That is really thin. Like look at all these layers, it actually looks really cute straight. Oh you guys, I just thrifted a pair of denim shorts. Oh, how do you style your hair once in a while, don't feel bad? My hair is barely wavy. So, most of the time I end up trying it halfway and throwing it into a braid yeah. I know like I love heat styling like I said. The only thing that kind of holds me back from It is Well won the heat damage, but two I just can't make content with my hair straight. My hair has not looked good straight in years, but like this is pretty heck and cute um, especially once I put my makeup on, I have like a bigger forehead. I think he's down here, content when it's winter yeah. I don't even know what I would talk about um. I keep losing my train of thought and not just curly hair methods, much more relatable about my hair Journey. What do you mean like? I already have a video about um like before I started wearing my hair natural and then kind of the process of starting that. So I don't really know that's the other thing it's like. I don't want to be super repetitive and make videos on things. I'Ve already talked about what is that face? What is that face, but at the same time, like I filmed that video probably two years ago, so should maybe I should make like an updated one. I never know when to make updated videos on things I've already done before. Look at this little heart, you got a heart on your butt um. I keep losing my train of thought, but oh yeah, I got some jeans from Goodwill they're like four dollars and I cut them into little long, like Bermuda style shorts, because those are really in right now and they're high-waisted, which is amazing and they're. M were a little bit tight on my belly, because everything is because I have not lost the weight from having Rose, but look how cute all right Rose. I need you to cooperate, so I can show them the jeans. The people want to see them. Oh yeah. I think I'm gon na take like an inch off of them because they're a little long. I cut them like right below or right above my knee just to be safe, but they're definitely a little too long. The trend is uncuffed, but I actually like them cuffed. So foreign Setter, basically, is what I'm trying to say. I think I like it tugged, so I just look like I have um like long sideburns. Maybe that's not cute, and I want like more volume and like a messy look, I might take like some sea salt spray. I don't know I'm definitely wearing those shorts.
